Trying $17 Vs. $217 Clip In Hair Extensions!! Boujee On A Budget Episode 2 Who Won?

Hi you guys hello, how are ya i've missed you. I haven't filmed any few days and you probably see me recently, but i'm filmed for a little bit, so it's so good to be filming today. I am so excited because today is another. A budget episode two regarding hair extensions, so you know i love my clip-in extensions. You guys love them too, and they're so fun to spice up any hair. Look, and today i have 17 dollars versus 217 dollar extensions. That is correct and we're going to be testing them out, mostly focusing on the 17, because you've seen me wear my 217 bellamy extensions. A lot that i love and i'll talk a little bit about the obvious differences between the two. But these beauties are from amazon, of course, where else do you get hair extensions that cheap? They are not human hair? You cannot get human hair for that price, but on their descriptions they said that they are able to be styled with heat. Apparently we're gon na find out - and these are the 20 inch which my bellamy by the way are 18 and i'm kind of thinking. This is a bit sus that these are 20 because, like maybe, but these look more like 18 to me, because the ends are like not super straight, like really really full they're kind of wispy, but either way. These are the 20 inch i'm gon na have them linked down below on amazon, the links you can find them, and so obviously the difference is when you're paying for that different price is. This is 100 human hair. This is not human hair, so this obviously is not going to last and be as nice as the human hair. But the point of this whole thing is just to see what we can get for less money and kind of compare and see if it's even worth it for maybe a night out, see how they style see if they live up to what they say and yeah Stay tuned i'm actually really excited because i just think it's absolutely hilarious to wear extensions that cost 17, like i literally live for this, so i'm hoping they style because that's the main thing to me. I think, if you're going to like a concert, you're going to like a rave or like you, just want something for like a graduation or for an event or a birthday and you're not really wanting to spend like a couple hundred dollars. You might as well try something like this, so of course i have a coat with belly for 10 off. I do love their hair and they are my consistent hair that i wear stay tuned to see how the 17 hair extensions hold up. Okay, so we're just going to jump straight in with the 17 extension, so i'm just looking. I'Ve just opened them for the first time with you, so you get in this kit. Two of the two clips and one thing to know. I mean this is literally a weft with something sewn onto it, like it's flimsy, it's thin, but actually sometimes i prefer that than like a super, thick weft, and then you have um two of the three clips, which is great. Then you get one. I think this is four clip yes, four clip, and then you actually get two little individuals which i actually love little individuals and the bellamy doesn't actually come with any individuals. Bellamy comes with two two clips: two three clips and one for clip and the bellamy hair is 140 grams. So obviously i it's a lot of hair, but i'm really curious because this looks like a good amount of hair too. So i just did my makeup. So we are going to take these out and i'm going to begin sectioning, my hair and i'm going to clip in these hair extensions. One thing i'm just going to say right off the bat. These are not my perfect match as you'll just see from the camera. These are a lot more vibrant than my hair comparatively to the strawberry dream. They are more vibrant than the bellamy, but not by much. The thing is: is my hair's faded i'm needing to actually color my hair, you see my roots are in and i'm actually getting ready to color my hair like a darker auburn color. So these i'm interested to see what these look like when i change my hair color, because they may still blend really nicely, but i'm going to make my hair a bit darker for the fall. So i wanted to do this video before i color my hair, but of course my hair is the most faded is in my coloring cycle. It'S not super super vibrant. So we're not going to focus on that. I think honestly, once they're in there and styled it doesn't really matter when your redhead blondes, it's a bit more. You need the perfect shade in my opinion, but when you have a darker color, brunette redhead, sometimes you can get away with more, but we're not gon na focus on this being the perfect shade match to my hair as of now but you'll still get the idea. They'Re not that much different than strawberry dream. Maybe it's a tad more vibrant and yeah, my hair just faded, so we're just gon na work with what we got and begin clipping them in okay. So whenever i do my clip-ins, i always start with a tiny little section at the nape doesn't have to be perfect and i'll do a two clip, but before i cut this in, we are gon na test how heat resistant this is according to amazon, they are Heat resistant to a straightener and a curling iron and i'm using a waiver, so i'm i'm already potentially jinxing this, i figure! You know they just didn't, write waivers on their website right. It'S still the idea of heat, so we're gon na go into this waiver. This way we're from amazon, i use this every single week. I love it and i feel like it's the best with blending extensions, especially if you're working with a shade. That'S a bit different than yours. Oh, my gosh, i'm scared, i'm just gon na slightly leave it on for a second. I don't want to leave it on for too long. Okay, yeah that didn't literally nothing. This might already be a fail. It said that it can be styled. Okay, wait! Let'S leave it up for longer. I don't want to like literally melt this hair, though maybe it really does need to be curled. It'S literally, it's not doing a freaking. It'S not doing a freaking thing, y'all! Oh actually, i lie that is slightly waving it. That is slightly weight again, not a lot, but that's fine. My hair isn't super wave right now, so it might actually kind of blend with what i've got going on guys. I think i literally was blind. I was looking at the back of the hair and i didn't think it was waving it, but i think okay, oh i take it back. She'S got a little bit of weight. You know what i'm not honestly, not complaining considering. This is not real hair. So, okay clips just standard little clip little crunch as i get put in, and i'm just going to clip this right in see what it feels like. It'S literally feels like you're just clipping a normal extension clip and the hair is super light. It doesn't, you know, doesn't really hurt or anything obviously color match we're not gon na we're gon na, ignore that, and i think i might actually yeah the color match is little horrendous annabelle. I might actually wave my hair a bit just to give this the best chance at looking great. So i'm just gon na slightly wave my hair, not a lot because, as we saw the extensions didn't wave a lot, so we don't need too much. I will wave okay, you know what we're gon na keep going and see how this keeps turning out. Okay, so i've done two two clips back to back. I'M actually gon na. Do my three clips and that's normally what i do with my belly two and i'll. Take a parting right above my ear and moving it back. Also, i was gon na say: please ignore the absolute mess on the floor behind me, i'm literally sitting on the ground, because, if you've been following along or know anything about, what's been going on in my life, i'm getting ready to move out of england back to Southern california, for that we're going traveling, so we're like moving out of england in the next week-ish traveling for six weeks and then going back to california. So everything is like behind me is like being sold and we're packing, and it's just like chaos. So just ignore that mess i'm excited for in a few months time, when i have my proper setup to film for you guys, but between now and then it will just be me in different places. Different houses, different airbnbs filming videos, which is honestly super fun, but yeah just bear with okay, so i just gave my hair a little wave again, i'm not doing anything too, too crazy. We'Re gon na take the three clip and we are going to continue waving it. I'M going to do two sections back to back like this a parting right above this one wave it and we will clip these in. I know you told your friend, you're, not okay and tell it hurts to all right. You guys here is the hair in there, of course, with some shedding it's just in the brush, which is completely normal in hair extensions in general, but also in synthetic 17 extensions. I actually didn't use these two pieces, but you definitely could especially like around your bangs or anything. This is it and again. I know the color is more vibrant than my own hair. I swaved it it waves slightly, which means it probably would curl slightly. Maybe maybe more um, especially if your curling iron was hotter, but this was just on 180 celsius, which is like the highest heat i use on my hair, so um. I just did the same on the extensions and they didn't act like they were melting. It didn't leave anything on my waiver, which is good and honestly, it feels really flat to the head. It doesn't feel like it's pulling, because it's super light. I would say: if you're brushing your hair, be careful and this hair probably will tangle easier. I would say for what it is. It honestly looks really really great, and i think you could do some really fun styles. I even imagine if you were doing like an updo or you wanted like a fuller, ponytail or like a braid. This would be a great alternative, because you can just style it and braid it in or do whatever and yeah it looks, makes my hair look really good. If it was my exact color to my hair right now, it would honestly look even better. Of course, the extensions are shinier than my hair right now, but a great tip for that is just to take a dry shampoo and you can just kind of mist it over them to make a little bit more matte. But what i think i'm going to do to fully compare again. Obviously, quality is different. It'S not human hair, blah blah blah blah. We know that so you're going to pay. For you know what you pay is what you get with hair extensions, but i thought it would be fun to literally show you guys my clippings, just like this styled brand new fresh wave to my hair and immediately jump to my bellami. My 217 extensions in my hair, so they're already waived from the other day, so i don't need to style them, so i'm just going to clip them in exactly as i clip this in i'll. Just do the two clips at the bottom and then the two three clips um at the top - and i won't use the fourth clip because i don't normally do like bellamy that'll - be interesting just to see side by side if it looks much different again. Besides the color and things like that, if it really appears and looks much different than the 17 dollar hair, so take one last final: look at the hair. What do we think i'll show you from the back? Let me show you from the side melanie my hair's a bit greasy, don't judge 17 hair all right and then we're going to see the bellamy 217 hair in three two one - and here we are with my 217 dollar bellamy extensions. What do you guys think? What is the verdict? Do you see much of a difference? For me, the hair is like softer and it feels a lot thicker, but i don't know if it looks necessarily that much thicker and i also feel like it looks a little bit longer, even though this length is technically shorter than the one on amazon. So there we go there's the hair. This was so fun to do. I mean, oh, my goodness. It'S like amazon, hair extensions were something i always wanted to try. So i was just so curious about these and just how they would feel in how the hair would feel between the 17 the 217. For me, i would always choose the 217 only because i wear clippings a lot. I need them to be restyled really easily and i don't want them to get tangled and i'm a clip-in wearer, but i'm not just saying that because i really feel like these have a place in the market. If you are somebody who doesn't wear clippings, a lot wants to see what they would even feel like in your head before committing to a more expensive version, wants them to make a parade thicker or do a fun up do. These are literally amazing, and i think you can still be a bougie on a budget with these. It really just depends on your lifestyle. What you kind of need, your clip and hair extensions to accomplish and like what you're looking for. That always is how it is with these boujee on a budget comparisons. I definitely think these are a great alternative, depending on what you need in your life. I, of course, i'm a bellamy girl, but you know we already knew that. So thank you.
