Hey guys, so today is going to be a little bit of a different video. I have never filmed a video about tape and hair extensions before I did film the video about clipping her extensions. But if you remember my last video, I said that I would be going on a cruise, and so I didn't really want to. I don't know. I didn't want to get my clip in hair extensions. Why or have to deal with clipping them in and styling them and waiting for them to dry because they take so long, and so it was just like I mean they're gon na have short hair or I can do something else. So I was like tape and hair extensions is the best idea, because it's like having your own hair, I don't have to deal with it. It looks really really natural, so I tried to sell them a few clips of me actually taping in the hair extensions. But since I was alone, it was a little hard to show you all how to actually do it, but I'll be explaining and telling you guys what hair extensions I use and everything that you need to achieve this at home by yourself. The affordable way, the tape and hair extensions that I used was the P fashion human hair extensions. So the reason why I love them is because they were human hair extensions and I have two packs. I did leave two hair extensions just for an example for you guys so that I can show you again. They come on little things like this and there's about ten on each side, so you need a set of two for one tape and hair extension. I got the color dark brown. I think I'll have to double check, but my color will be in the description box below it. Is it matched my hair absolutely perfectly? If I had black hair, which luckily I don't right now? I have dark brown hair because my natural hair color is coming through. It wouldn't have matched if I was jet black, but this color matched absolutely perfectly. So I got two packs of this, and then it did come with thinning shears, which I loved, because the hair extensions were 22 inches and then you cut them and blend them with your own hair. So the thinning shears were awesome. I didn't have any surprisingly. So I cut my hair and then I used these to kind of like layer, my hair. They also come with these backup hair extension tapes in case something falls off or I don't know if something goes wrong with your hair extensions, I didn't have to use them. These are no shine, hair extension tapes, they look white but they're actually clear, and it says they last four to ten weeks. So what I did was I washed my hair. You want to make sure you have very clean hair. I didn't condition my hair because I didn't want any kind of oil to be on the hair extension. I really wanted them to stick and last as long as they possibly could. So I just use shampoo and then I dried and styled my hair as I would normally so. I straightened my hair and then I know my hair extensions usually look better with curled hair, but I was very surprised with how they blended, with straight hair. So again, they're 22 inches long and I started on the bottom and I worked my way to the top. I only used one packet until I got I think to about right here and then I use the other packet and sectioned off the crown of my head. I laid it down flat like I would normally wear it and then I just started layering it up. I did put the sides out a little bit of an angle, because I want to put my hair up in a ponytail and I don't want them to be. As visible, but still I don't know, I don't think you guys could even see it if you wanted to so here's one. So the process itself took me about two hours, because this was the first time I mean doing it by myself. I didn't have anyone to help me. I didn't even have a mirror behind me to be able to look so I was just kind of going slow and steady, I'm sure when you're more comfortable with it, it will be a lot faster, but this was my first time doing it on myself. So right now I'm going to show you all how it actually works, so he will take a thin piece of your hair and when I say thin, it'll be a little less than than this think you want to be able to see through it and then you're. Only going to take the width of the extension, so you will peel off the white and then you would peel off the other hair extension on the other side of the hair having the hair in between the two. You would just tape them together like this and hold them for about 20 seconds. You really want to make sure that you hold it pretty tight. These were actually very sticky. I forgot to hold them tight on some of them, but you just want to make sure it adheres together and that it lasts as long as it possibly can. So I mean that's really all you do for your whole head and it's supposed to last four to ten weeks. I absolutely loved it. I will show you guys the length of my hair now, so you guys saw the before, which I'll insert the picture, and then now I like the really blunt cut. So I just chopped it and then I added in some layers to like blend it. In with my hair, I can see that it's actually pretty blended, so overall, I really enjoyed my experience with VP fashion. I, like that it's human hair. I, like that, it's soft I slept in it obviously, and it wasn't tangled at all in the morning. These are some of the softest hair extensions. I'Ve felt so overall positive. I do have a code down below. So if you are interested in trying them out for yourself, then make sure to use the code, and I think that's pretty much it. I honestly really like it. I like it better than clip-ins, because I don't know you just don't have to like do it every day and once yeah the two hours, but then it's just in and you wake up and you're ready to go so absolutely loved it. If you like these kind of videos where I'm trying new things out and doing DIYs then give this video a thumbs up. If you're new to my channel - and you made it through this far - then I would really enjoy. If you guys subscribe, I'm gon na be putting up more videos soon. So, thank you all so much for watching and I'll talk to you guys in my next video bye, guys.
