Hey guys this is Brandi with Walker Tape Company, today we are going to do an installation of tape in hair extensions.
The first step we are going to do is make sure your clients hair is clean and dry before you start to do your tape in hair extensions. And then the second step you are going to do is part your clients hair going down the side, each side, and pull up your back sections. Your back section you want to be about 2 inches above. and to test and make sure that you have enough hair up, you are going to take your comb and hold it up. if you can see your comb, you don't have enough hair down. So i am going to take a little more of her hair down, and you want nice clean straight parts. Lets try that and make sure we can't see the comb. And we can't see the comb so we have a perfect amount of hair. i am going to go in and start layering the extensions in. You are going to take your first section about 1/4 inch part, nice clean parts and you are going to grab your hair extensions. and in her extension we are using our Proflex tape, and we are going to peel off the backing on each side. Attach your comb to the bottom of your extensions, lay it flat on the clients scalp. hold above your hair and simply roll your comb down, and then press your hair against the extensions to make sure the hair is smooth on there. And if you have to go across with your comb to get the loose little loose fly always that don't attached you want to get those lifted our of the way. An then grab your other extension and do the same thing, and then you are gong to apply it, sandwich it, make sure it is even on there, and press firmly, then you are going to take your flat iron, and give it a little heat to just cure the tape on there, just put it on there for 1 second. and that's how you install tape in hair extensions.
