Hey guys welcome back to my channel. It is me it is i it is another lifestyle. So in today's video i wanted to show you guys how like wash my um my tape ins. I don't have a video of like me doing or slash getting my tape. Ins done, but it is on my tick tock. If you want to watch it, i honestly don't know how it's gon na come out, but i'm hoping for the best. It'S been two weeks now. I'Ve had this in for two weeks and it's definitely time i meant to wash it a week ago, but it just seemed like a lot, so i left it but yeah i'm going to wash my hair and yeah. Let'S get let's, let's, let's get started all right! Y'All voice over any hair, so, as you guys can see, i'm just showing you um how much new growth i've had not that much honestly, because it was just two weeks in, but i love this process. I don't know why. But every time i'm washing my hair, i usually start off by just wetting like the hair entirely. Actually i think everybody does this. I think everybody does this, but, as you guys can see, the curls are coming back. I know there was like a whole thing about like heat damage and stuff like that, but you just really have to know how to take care of your hair and um, and this is like with me even just getting like regular sick presses as well. I think i've gotten - oh, i had gotten like. Maybe four four is four right anyway. I think i got like four um still presses like prior to this so and my hair is still like curling up like it's, obviously not as tight curls as like before, but it's curling up anyway, um yeah, i'm just washing my hair. I have my handy dandy. Scalp scrub and i'm just going in making sure that i'm scrubbing my scalp, because that's the main area that i'm trying to clean because i'm trying to get the oil out of my scalp because, like i said, or maybe i didn't say it in this video. But on my tic toc, i had said that i was um exercising a lot, so oh, my scalp was getting like real oily, but uh yeah yeah anyway. This is just me, washing my hair and just making sure that i get it nice and clean. Like my scalp needs to be nice and clean all right, i'm gon na speed this up or give you all some like music or something and then go from there. I cannot seem to find the clip where i was actually putting the conditioner in my hair, but i believe at this point i have condition because there's no way that i wouldn't have conditioner in at this point right now, yeah she said yeah um yeah. So i have conditioner in my hair at this point and i'm just going in like line by line as you can see and making sure that i'm getting my own hair, because my hair is what really needs that conditioner. So i can comb it out and make sure i get my own hair, nice and combed out. The only thing i will say is that you definitely do not want to leave. You don't want to leave your conditioner like in, because that will soften the tape and then make it make the tape like slip out right so yeah and it's a process, but i you know, i don't think it's any much bigger. It'S, not the english. I don't think it's that much of a bigger process than like you know, washing your natural hair, because it's the same thing you just got ta going it's like a wash day right. Slowly and slowly, steady wins the race. I don't know if that's the same, but yeah guys just go slow um, you know get the conditioner in just make sure you're not leaving the conditioner like sitting in your hair. That'S the only thing that i will say all right now that i'm out the shower. This is the part that made the girls mad. Oh my god. This is so funny to me. I'M not gon na hold you. When i took the towel down, it was like oh um, okay, i have a lot of work to do and, as you guys can see yeah i have a lot of work to do. I mean it's already work like blow drying like your own hair chuckles of blow drying your own hair with another piece of thing attached to it right so anyway, um that was that was what that face. Was. I just knew that there was gon na be a lot of work to do so here. I am just checking my tapes to see like what's going on, um just to see if i messed it up or not like i said this was my first time doing this. I had not done this before um. This is my first time even doing tape pins in general. So you know i. I knew that it wasn't gon na be perfect because, like i i'm not a stylist, but i was ready to put in the work okay. So here i am just sectioning off my hair, i'm taking like the uh. What'S the perimeters is the parameters yeah, i'm basically putting on all um, i'm twisting out all the leave outs like the sides, the middle and then um? Probably i don't remember if i worked on it first, but you guys will see that, but essentially i'm just separating that part, because that part is like all my hair and then i'm just gon na go and i'm gon na start doing. The tape ins and the extensions itself right so yeah um for this i'm using the wow hair. I wanted to try this out honestly um. This wall here is supposed to be good for making sure your hair doesn't get frizzy. To be honest, i'm not sure if i used it properly because i didn't really see the result that i guess i was hoping for, but that's what this wall hair is supposed to be it's supposed to keep your hair, nice and not frizzy, but i don't know I probably didn't use it right uh. So after a while here, i'm gon na go in with some heat protectants as well, just to give myself again added protection, making sure that i'm giving myself the best chance, the best chance that i can give it um and then so. Essentially, this is where it gets tedious, because now everything that we have to do is just making sure that we are blow drying the hair um and i'm i'm gon na be doing that in sections right. So this part is like a slower process, because i can't really see the back of my head. So it's kind of it's like a little bit harder to get all of this, but yeah you just got to go, slow, slow and steady. What the hell accent was that um, you just got: ta, go slow and steady and um just yeah, it's pretty tedious, i'm not i'm not gon na lie it's pretty tedious, but let's just do let's: let's do a quick, fast forwarded version. Let'S do that honestly. If i knew then what i know now, this would have came out like 10 times better, but anyway, as you guys can see now i basically have my hair all blowed out and everything i've even gone ahead and completed one side um for that side. I basically just like curled and put it in little rollers just to keep it a little bit more flowier and fluffier, and all that but um yeah. So basically, i'm just about to do the same thing that i did on the other side on the next side. Even though technically i should have flipped it, so y'all can actually see it better, but it's okay! You know it's fine, it's fine! It'S okay, um, but yeah, i'm going in with the the comb again. Why am i doing this again? But yeah i'm going in with the hot comb again and i'm just making sure that i'm getting it as as nice and and and and straight as i can get it wow. That was hard to get out. But i'm trying to make it as nice and straight as possible. Okay, okay, let me just let y'all see this okay! Oh i'm fancy! I even decided to give you guys a closer, a closer shot: okay, but yeah. Basically, i'm just showing you guys in this part how i basically have been doing the whole thing. Um with the rollers honestly, the rollers were a little bit tricky because i don't know, i don't think i love how i keep saying that i have never used these rollers before the dry ones, right, that's what yeah the dry ones, so they were a little bit Tricky for me to use, but i think i figured it out um i mean it did hold my curls in a little bit. So i guess i did kind of figure it out a little bit, but they are a little bit more tricky or they were a little more trickier for me because i hadn't used them before. But yeah i mean this is the final result and i'm just gon na spray, some uh hairspray, i believe, that's hair spray. I was using just to kind of hold it in and keep all the curls in and stuff like that and i'll be back, i'm back, but um yeah. So i ended up going with the half up half down. I know this pissed a lot of people off as well, but i was actually going out that night and i wanted like a snatched face like i wanted my face to be snatched, so i went with the half of a half up half down um. I should have showed you guys what it looked like after i took the rollers down honestly, i should have did that. So that's my fault, that's my bad, but this is basically what it came out. Looking like another thing, i love about the tape ends is that they are versatile, like you can like you, can wear your hair like in different hairstyles, rather than just like a straight. You know middle part down and stuff like that. You can wear your hair up. Half up as you can, as you can see here right, so that's the the versatility that i like about this, because i know if i was to get a sew in, i probably wouldn't be able to do this because it just wouldn't be as flat right so Yeah yeah anyway, that's the final look and i'm happy with it. Okay, i'm happy with it. I looked really cute that night. I liked how i look and yeah yeah yeah. Thank you guys for watching. If you guys enjoyed this video, make sure to subscribe.
