Hi guys welcome back to my channel for those who are new here. My name is jolie. Today i have another hair review for you guys so tape, ins right tape - ins are hot right. Now they have industry. Do you understand? People are getting tape, ends left and right, and i wanted to see what the hype was about. I'Ve seen a lot of videos of tape, ins done with like straight hair or like kinky straight hair and a lot of times the people have to straighten their own natural hair um prior to putting in the tape ends right. So i wanted to find out if it was possible for you to put tape ins in your head without straightening, your hair, so um when i put these tapings in, i did not have straightened hair, so i definitely attempted that for you guys today and i would Say right now, um after attempting that i would have straightened my hair prior to putting them, and i see why people straighten their hair, it seems like it is an easier process when that is done and it seems like an easier process. If you have someone to help um, yes, the back of your head is hard to get to really without any help, but your girl got it done. So i got these tape ins from curls queen. I got the 80 piece tape, ins and 18 inches, and this is how that looks. It looks really really natural and people are actually shocked to hear about tape inside i found out that a lot of people don't know much about tape, ins. So basically, it is a process of putting a row of your hair, a very thin row of your hair in between two strands of hair. That has tape on the ends and you tape your hand in the middle of that, and, of course, i'll show you video of me putting this in and how that looks. Considering my hair wasn't necessarily straightened okay, so this is the cute packaging that the hair came in, and this is one of the bundles which comes with 40 pieces of the tape ends, and this is what it looks like. It also came with a bonnet, a rat tail comb, a denman brush, a really cute one. These are strips to keep your straightaway strands from flying everywhere. This is extra tape and these are clips, and this is the hair after i washed it alright. So this is me showing what the hair looked like stretched, but not straightened, and this is me, after putting one tape in and showing you guys how it looks in the back and then tucking at it to show you that it's not leaving um. So what i end up doing is taking um two strips of tape ends, of course, taking the tape off, and i have to go outside to show you guys how to put it in. So basically here you see me putting the first piece on top and then the second piece at the bottom. What you want to do is make sure that the hair roll that you're putting in is thin enough, that the tape can touch right. That'S the whole point of getting it to stick. You want the tape to touch on both sides, and so here you see me basically um making sure it is insecure and me putting um a twist in it, and this is the next morning after i finish everything you can see all the tape ends in and This is what it looked like. This is a couple days later after washing it - and this is me um refreshing it just combing it out making sure i'm combing it out at the bottom. I don't want to pull out the tape ends and me adding some mousse to add some curls. There'S qrikets in the background, don't mind that, and this is what it looks like from the back. I feel like that's important, so i would say the quality of this hair is great guys see here yourself like the curls are popping. I have like some curling mousse in here and that's basically it - and this is air dried, and this is what i have. This is first day here. So here's the thing i have short natural hair, so that was also something i was a little concerned about. Um prior to putting them in was that will my short natural hair, like twa, actually cover the tapes, so it could be as seamless as possible. So i'm going to show you the front here and, as you can see like my hair blends, really really well with this hair um and it does cover the it does cover the tape ends, especially if you have like bobby pins or something to really just um. Hide the tape, but because my hair is black and it matches the texture pretty well, it blends pretty well, so i was really happy about that um. I would say, though, that you should have at least three inches of hair in order to get the style just because you'll probably need that much in order to cover your hair um. My hair is about three inches now, and it shrinks up to one and that's barely covering it, so you want the more security of having it fully covered. By having a little bit more hair, i would say that the process was very tedious, like it wasn't. My favorite, i would say that, but i did do it. It was accomplished. I was able to do it by myself um. So you know, if you do feel like this, is, would be a challenge to do by yourself. I do suggest getting a friend or going to a stylist and having them help you put the the hair in, but other than that, like it feels pretty weightless. It'S not much weight on my head, which i thoroughly enjoy, and i would say i see the benefits of the tape ends, especially if you are looking to have different styles to put in a ponytail, and things like that. So for me, because my um, my hair, is still short when i do put this in a ponytail, i wear a band around it, just to make sure that all the tape is covered. It'S able to make a ponytail very easily because of how the tape is. Are laid on my head, so i made sure to lay them in a certain way in order for them to flip okay, when they go into a ponytail, i did use all 80 of the tape in so that it. This is 80 pieces in my head. There'S a big contrasting length with my hair and then this fake hair. So majority of this volume that you see is coming from the tape ends and, as you can see, it is a lot of hair. There'S a lot of movement volume. It feels really soft. It'S easy to run my fingers through you get the typical amount of shedding that you would get with any curly hair. Of course it's been nice having hair again um. I don't have that much hair, so it was nice to like play with some stuff. So the process of putting tape, ins and you'll want to separate your hair in a way that allows you to have some coverage with your natural hair. So i would say like doing a row of tape, ins and then the roll of your natural hair out and then going that way. Kind of following, like a beehive type of format, which is like going in a circular motion like that. You want the tape ends to lay in a certain way that you can easily flip them into a ponytail or to any style that you wish, i would say, play around with it before putting it in, as in like seeing what what will be the best way To lay the tape in before you put it in, as i put in each tape in i decided to put twists, i decided to twist each uh section um. It made it easier for me to like keep track of how many tapens i had in as well as where they were positioned and just like. I was able to get a really really nice twist out the next day as well, which i enjoyed washing. It was a breeze, i would say, be very, very careful about how much soap and conditioner you put. You don't want to necessarily put it on the tape ends because it can make it slippery and they could fall out so be considerate of that i did cut the hair a little bit just to give it a better shape when that was more fitting. For my face and one that i'm very used to - and this is the shape that i got basically - which i feel like really frames my face and really fits my face um, so i i would say, don't be scared to shape the hair a little bit um. I would say start by cutting off a little bit and gradually adding more inches as you go to save the hair because it can grow back front tape. Ins can last in your head for about six to eight weeks. I plan to keep mines in for about four weeks. Thank you guys so much for tuning in and checking out this little quick review. I hope you guys enjoy this video and hopefully want to try tafens in the future, but yeah. If you have any further questions, please let me know down below in the comments and i'll get back to you as soon as i can alright. Thank you guys. Bye,
