What Full Cuticle Remy Hair Really Means - The Truth About Hair Extensions

Hi folks, so my name is chris folek and i'm the ceo and president of dream catchers, better known as the world's best hair extensions. The misconception is the word remy or remy, as we know it. So everybody thinks that that's the buzzword, we're looking for remy hair, the truth be told: remy just means that it's lying in the same direction, so, in other words, you've got your hair all lying in the same direction. However, the real buzzword that we should all be looking for is full cuticle, that's the magic right there and all of dreamcatcher's hair is full cuticle. We regularly test it. We regularly put it under microscopes and we can prove that our hair is a grade which means you're going to get longevity and luster. Let me just take a moment and explain to you what i'm talking about. I don't know if anybody knows this, but most of the hair extensions in the united states come from india. Why? From india? Well? Firstly, it's the second largest population on the earth today, but the magic from there is that people from india go on a pilgrimage and every single day of the year, millions and millions of people are going to the pilgrimage. The main temple has over 200 people that simply cut hair all day long. The reason they shave their heads is it's a sign of respect prior to going on the pilgrimage, so tons and tons of hair is collected, of course, coming from india, it's black hair. How do we make black hair blonde we're going to bleach it right? It doesn't matter how gentle your bleaching process is. It is still going to strip the integrity of the hair. That means that you're taking black hair and to turn it into platinum, blonde you're literally going to fly it so by frying, the hair, you strip it off the cuticle again the magical word. So, let's see what happens. This is now an example of a hair that has been stripped of the cuticle. Again, it doesn't matter how gentle the process is. It'S still going to strip the cuticle okay, so, in other words, it doesn't matter if this hair is going to go in any direction. It really doesn't matter whether it's going up or down that hair is stripped. So if you had a hair that had a full cuticle in, for example, let's say: there's your cuticle now remember that the cuticle is like a fish scale. Try and imagine it like that. So if you had one going in the opposite direction, obviously you can see what's going to happen. This is going to knot and no matter how many times you undo that knot, it's simply going to re-knot. So that's why remy full cuticle is the magic. So what you're going to do with the remy full cuticle is you're going to have the hair going in this direction. There'S your cuticle and you're going to have the hair next to it. Going in this direction and again you cannotice that the cuticles are all flowing in the same direction. Why is that important? Firstly, it prevents the knotting, but, more importantly, you're, going to get the longevity of the hair. Here'S. Why, when you color hair, which we know you're going to do every four to six weeks, how does the color maintain here's? What happens the color molecule locks itself into the cuticle, and that means that the color is going to last you four to six weeks. If you colored this hair here that has no cuticle, that color is going to wash off or fade within seven to ten days. So what they do is they actually put hair that has been stripped and they dip it in silicone. So a silicone is going to be washed off the hair, probably in about 15 to 20 washes once the silicone is washed off or the sealant is washed off. The performance of the hair drops off and now you've got a disgruntled client or guest they're gon na say this here was beautiful a month ago or six weeks ago. What'S happened to it and it's nothing, they are doing it's the source of where the hair is coming from. Remember if the darker shades are fine, it's the lighter, more platinum shades, the more you get lighter the more stripping of the cuticle occurs. So this is not good. That is not good, but this is the dream. Catcher secret. You see we're in partners with two major factories, of course they're located in china as they all are. However, one of the factors we're involved with is one of the major collectors of hair in the world. Currently we have over 80 tons just to give you an idea, that's four football fields, full of hair. Imagine that it's incredible! So what we do is we actually take the top 20 of that full cuticle hair and that's what's used for dream catchers. The rest of the hair is then sold off to other hair extension companies and to wig manufacturers, and the like so always be on the lookout for the full cuticle hair. That'S why we're proud to say that we have the world's best hair extensions. This means that you can color our hair, it doesn't fade and not only that the hair performance is going to last. This is almost impossible to believe, but it's going to last at least 12 months, remembering that our eye tips are rubberized or have a polyurethane tip which, even when they've broken down over a period of time, be it 12 to 18 months, simply send the hair back To us, we re-tip it and send it back out again, that's the same hair that we can use over and over again. You can't do that with this hair, and you certainly can't do that with this hair. Let me give you an example of how we collect our hair. This is a shank, so imagine we're talking about 32 inches of absolutely beautiful hair. Now this is what i'm saying the color you see it is the color we buy it. So that means look at that luster. Look at that shine! There'S nothing on here. We'Ve put no oils, we put no treatments on here. This is absolutely magnificent from the platinum blondes to the darker shades.
