Oh hey guys and welcome back to another video, i'm shanika if you're new here and if you are not already subscribed guys, please go ahead and subscribe to my channel. I would definitely appreciate it uh if you are a return to subscriber. Thank you so much guys. I love y'all, let's get into the video okay, guys so hello and welcome back to another video um, so yeah uh - i don't know if i told you guys, but we are going to be diying our own tape, ins tonight so um. I have the bundles here. So we got the bundle, snail y'all. I didn't go and buy like any fancy, bamboo jaw, because this is my first time. Diying tape ends. So we got one pick and then so these are actually y'all. Honestly. These are two different um. Oh, my god y'all and i didn't even notice. There are two different colors. These are two completely different. Colors like this one is natural black, and this one is like just a lighter color, but i guess it will look nice like i'll, probably just um like blend it in because i'm doing the tapings on my best friend's hair, but her hair is not black. So i'll probably mix it in like do like a mixin type of look because um, i got one pack of one bundle of hair and i realized that one wasn't gon na be enough for her hair because she has really long thick, hair, already um and we're Gon na be like making it really full so again, like i said um, i don't know if you guys, if i told you guys, but i've never literally, never done tvns before so this is going to be uh me doing it for the first time, and i Didn'T want to, you know, spend a whole lot of money on the the hair that already comes taped with okay guys. So, like i said, we were not trying to spend all the money that was, it was costing to already buy the to purchase the already made tape in so we decided to create our own tape ends. So, like i said, i just got two bundles of some. You know regular bundle here from the your local beauty supply store, which came up to about like 45, a bundle um and then we, you know, went on amazon and we researched some tape. And these i was looking at the reviews and these tapes that i found off amazon. They looked to have when i was reading them. They look to have done the job just fine, so we go in ahead and paint. These are double shaped double-sided, so we just placed it on the weft and um went all the way down so not having without having to do too much work. I just put you know one tape after the other after other after another, and i did that until both bundles were filled with tape, because i didn't know how many bundles i was going to need so there we are everything's all done so after that i did Go ahead and flat seal the deal with a flat iron. I had my flat iron on low really low, but i just wanted to kind of seal the dill, because i didn't want the the tapes to fall out now. I was noticing people were complaining about that and when i was reading of youth reviews, a lot of people were saying that if you don't seal it with a flat iron that it will um, it will fall out. So that's what we did right there and now we're going to go in and we're going to just clip them so clip them into our little tapes. Okay, so good morning and happy sunday today we are going to be doing the uh diy tape in content, video y'all. So i made these tapes last night um and i got my little setup right here. Y'All um, all of my products got my hair um shears from hair school. If you know you know, these are literally the best shears ever like. I still have dijo so um. If you want the empire - and you got a good pair of shears - don't get rid of them, they're so great they still last um. These are like many many years old and they're. Still i mean i got ta clean them, but yeah so yep just want to get on here and say happy sunday and um yeah i'll. Let y'all know how everything goes once i'm done so you

Taecy Loved: I love this video! For anyone looking to do this, lemme give you a tip because I tried this as well. When you’re flat ironing the tape to the extensions, cover it with parchment paper. That way the heat will melt the glue to the hair bundle. Be careful tho. Not so high heat. About 150 should be enough but that depends on your straightener. ❤️

CinnaMinnie: Woo girl. Thankfully came across this awesome upload. I was gonna diy tapes at a later time but through another tedious process. That was fast and easy and the outcome was beautiful. If you have the chance please give update on this install. I'd like to know if these tapes perform the same as manufactured ones. Thanks for this content!
