Doing Hair Extensions At Home!

I wanted to talk a little bit about placement, forty pins, so I have her sectioned off right here and a lot of times for tapes. What we're gon na do is just place them straight on, for example, grabbing a piece of hair like this and sandwiching one on bottom, one on top. But there are other times where I like to go in at an angle. For example, the corners of the hair right here are really tricky and it's easy to leave holes. If you don't do this correctly. So I like to place on an angle and place the tape in on an angle so that it covers that corner and it also ends up matching the shape of the head. Because if you think about it, the head is circular and if you're always doing them straight, you're gon na have corners that stick up. So you do want to place on a slight angle in certain areas to help match the shape of the head and also, I know a lot of people will learn that you know you should always place your tape and straight, but the problem is not everyone's hair Grows straight so that theory doesn't really hold up, because if you see my mom's hair hers kind of grows backwards, you can see right here. It kind of curves back so placing on an angle is actually okay for hair. Like hers. Alright, you guys it's taping. Placement is something that you struggle with. I highly encourage that you check out the policeman guide it's available on my website. It'S something I came up with a few years ago, because tapings were always so hard to teach, because you have anywhere from twenty to sixty little pieces and after they've already been blended with the clients hair. It can be hard to know where they go back in. It'S a really helpful tool for putting the T pins back in the hair, and it also gives you a general idea of tape and placement as well. Okay, we're gon na do a little challenge here, so I have about half of my mom's head done and we're gon na have both Jordan and my dad put a tape it in and see who does better.
