Hello, hello, my beautiful friends today, i'm going to show you guys how i do my hair uh. So this is my natural hair right now, like just uh. Well, it's not air dried. I actually ran a flat iron through it. Whatever you got straightened and ironed through it like a little bit this morning, but i've been working all day and now it's the evening so - and this is it - this is all of my hair pulled to the front. So i do have not a lot of hair. Then hair uh, but i'm on a healthy hair journey. So it's doing a lot better, but in the meantime, until i can get it to grow out to the long luxurious length that i want. I went ahead and got some tape in extensions, and i got these from full shine on amazon and you know i get full shine. Hair i've got it in the past. I have other videos on it actually just done one not long ago about their halo. So these are actually the tape and extensions which i prefer over everything that i've tried. Um. I have not done sew ends like at the salon, and i can't sew them in myself, but as far as um the halo, the clippians, whether they're the original clip-ins with the wefts or the seamless clip-ins um, clip in ponytails. Anything tape-ins are my absolute favorite. So i wanted to show you guys today how i put mine in, and you can see like how they look. Maybe you want to try it but they're from amazon they are so affordable for what they are. They are very good. Like i said, i've had these multiple times like this actual brand. So here's what the box looks like when it comes to you actually, i opened mine already, but i'd like to make sure it was how it was supposed to be so. It comes with extra tapes in case one of your tapes comes loose or you just like need to replace it, because that does happen from time to time. So that's nice! There are two sheets in here: two sheets of tapes, two four, six, eight ten, twelve, so 24 extra tapes, which is enough for your whole pack of hair here, which brings us to the hair. Look at this little bag. Okay, packaging come through with this, then it comes like this in the little net and you can see how it's all wrapped up. They have it wrapped up so nicely so that it doesn't get tangled um and everything and already have see. I got two boxes, so i already have one of these open that i was going to show you guys the actual hair. This is a little darker than my natural hair, but once i get it in there and everything's all blended together, i think we're going to be perfectly fine. That'S another thing: if you need help, if you want to get these and you need help like picking a color i'll, totally help you just um, let me know, because this is this is going to work, we're going to make it work. So this is 18 inch and they have it short and even down to 24 inch. I think i saw on there, which is really long, so i just got 18 this time, so it should go about down to here on me, something like that, but i'm going to show you guys the secret tricks to how i get these in my hair um And how i make them, look like my actual hair and just how i apply them and everything okay. So here is one piece of hair. Do you see how like wait? Let me put it up again: there we go hey, so one piece of tape. One tape in looks like this. Now normally, you would like, if you've seen other videos of people doing in the doing it in the salon. The hairstylist would put that sandwich. A tiny section of your hair between these, so it would be like this one goes on the bottom hair in my mouth and this one goes on the top and they like sandwich it together. Okay, that's that's difficult to do if you're doing it by yourself. If you're a pro, you could probably totally do that, but i have a trick that makes this very easy to do it yourself. Okay, here's what i do! I take the weft of hair, the piece, the tape in um. I do not take the sticky like part off, yet i leave it on there and i cut it in the middle like as far down as possible, without cutting it in actual half. So i cut it down like that: okay, so that i can fold it in half. So that way, when i get ready to um put a piece of hair instead of having to try and figure out where to put the other tape, it just literally folds right over and it will stick. You know what i'm saying. So i'm going to show you how to do that. Another thing is when you cut them like this, the two edges on the inside are like pointy, so you can also, if that's an issue for you and it might not be, but it you can also kind of trim those little edges off and then it's not Sharp anymore and then it'll be super comfortable in your hair, and the key is to get it as close to your scalp. I mean you want to get it close to your scalp, but not super tight up to your scalp okay, because it's not going to be comfortable in putting it up. If you want the hair to you know, you want to delay like this most of the time, but sometimes you want it to flip up because you're putting your hair in a style. That'S up so you want to put it at the root, but not super super tight. So if it's down just a little bit, that's actually really good and it's going to help you out a bunch. So let me go ahead and start by sectioning, my hair and, depending on how thick or thin your hair is, you can section, however many you need, and i actually just go by like. However, i feel like i need by the way when i get to the top. Not only do i do this, but i cut this fully in half and then i do a slit in one of the little ones and i put tiny pieces up here. So you cannot see them like virtually undetectable i'll show you when i get to that but um. For now, whenever you section your first section, you want to be sure to leave enough hair down at the bottom that, if you put your hair up, this is going to cover those pieces that you put okay. So you want to make sure you leave down enough to cover the pieces when you want to wear a ponytail or a bun or whatever you want that to cover up those pieces. You know what i mean, so that is, and i'm not good at sectioning, my hair, so that was probably not a good looking part. I can't tell right now: um i was gon na say do as i say, not as i do, but actually this turns out really good each time so anyways just section you know section you off a bottom section, but enough so that you can flip that hair Up and it won't, it won't show those pieces, you know yeah, that's it get the rest of this out of your way. I brought a couple of clips up here because i want to be sure my hair does not fall down. So i'm going to show you this first piece, i'm going to do my best because i'm like backwards, you know in the viewfinder, so i am doing my best all right. So i take the you. Take the sticker, the paper off the sticker. All right get you a trash bag, because you're gon na have a hundred of these. When you get done like there's, gon na be a lot okay and then you take a small set like i said, i'm no professional, i'm just showing you what i do and it works, and these usually last me eight weeks at least, and then i have to Use coconut oil to get them out, so they do stay okay, but you want just a thin amount of hair. Not that's too much just a thin amount melissa in between the tapes, because, if you get too much, you don't see that that still might even be a little much to be honest. But if you get too much, it's not going to hold as well um. But you don't want to get like three strands of hair, all right. That looks good, because then it's not going to hold anything all right. Let me turn this way, so what i do is i bump this up, where i said, but not like super super tight up there, and i lay that hair flat down on there and fold that piece over and it is directly on top. I give it a good squeeze squeeze because i want to be on there, and that is how you do it like literally that's it. It does take time and patience, and this hair is human hair, so you'll just oil it every now and then so it doesn't get dry. You can cut it, you can dye it. You can flat iron curl, it crimp it treat it as your normal hair. Also care for it as your normal hair, like washing and conditioning like literally that's it look, and whenever i am ready to um, and here it is flipped up by the way see looked up, can't see it. So we're going to keep on doing that. I'M going to be working on that um and then, when i get to the top i'll show you how to do those small sections that i was talking about and then we'll see what it looks like overall wish me luck. Okay, friends! Now we are done with the bottom in the middle section, we're going to move on, and i've already done a couple little pieces on the top and i was like duh. I need to show them how to do it um, but i'm going to show you, because you see how i have these short pieces in front, which most people do these days, because everybody had those curtain bangs like a year ago and now they're growing out. So if you do have shorter pieces in the front, it's like no worries, because most people's real hair looks like that too, but i want to fill mine in just a little bit more so on the top i will go in here is my piece of hair. I'M having a black shirt, so it's kind of hard to see his hair, but i'm going to fold it so that i can make a crease in the middle and then i will cut this completely in half on that crease. Just so, i can make sure like. I have it even all right so now we have two pieces: i'm gon na brush that out just in case there were any fallout from cutting it. Now, i'm gon na fold it again i'm trying to hold it where you can like see it. I'M going to fold it again open it back up just so, you can see where the crease is and this time i'm going to cut it, but not all the way through i'm going to just cut it 3 4 of the way, almost like all the way, But just not all the way that way it's like still holding on and that's just so you can fold it so then you just take the paper off of the tape discard that i'm gon na lay this to the side for a second i'm gon na. Take one of my clips and i'm going to see where i feel like i need to have this in order for it to fall, where i want it to now, i don't want to have it too close to the front. You don't want to have anything too close right here to the front, so don't put any pieces really close up here, because if you wear your hair up, that's going to be a problem, so you don't want that to happen. Okay, so, and also like i said i know, my hair is a little bit lighter than this, but once i get some of these front pieces in i'm hoping that it will like blend even more so, okay, let's take our clip and i'm trying to look at You guys and in the mirror, so i want to try to maybe have it like through here. I don't want to have it too high. I mean too yeah too high up in case. I want to like part, my hair to the side. You know what i mean like you, don't want it like showing okay, so i'm gon na say about right here, maybe, but back a little, because i don't want it too close to the front like i said so when we put it up, it won't be an Issue so i'm just going to fold that over really far a little comb over so i can see the crease like. I said i never do these completely straight. I don't know if it's like a thin hair person thing that my my parts are never straight. It might just be a me thing, i'm really not sure anyways, i'm just going to take a small. Do you see how small that section is? Can you see really small i'm going to put this right up to the edge, but not like pushing it all the way up that it's like going to create an issue, then i'm going to just fold it over? That'S it now. I want you to see how you can't see that you cannot see that okay, it's right there. You cannot see that see that little tiny piece is just like it blends in so well, so you can do those at the top and um yeah. You can do that at the top look at this hair dude. It'S so pretty. I feel like a different person. I always feel more like myself when i have long hair like i feel like i belong with long long. Hair belongs on me, but i'm trying to get my real hair to grow out and it's taking its time. So in the meantime this is this. Is the um. What'S the word uh, this is the solution. Yeah, so look you can tuck your hair, you can leave it out. You can part it um. Yes, love it love it. So i'm going to do the same thing on the other side. I don't know if you want to watch this, but just in case you do want to have one kind of like right through here and i do part my hair on that side. Usually, so i don't want to have it like too um far up. I do actually have one right there. Already too, i don't think you can see. I think my hair is like flipped over it, but um where's, the other one. Okay, so same thing, i'm gon na fold, it i'm gon na cut it, i'm going to put it where i want it, that's it i'm going to cut it, but not all the way. So it looks like this see might be able to see it better. It gets my black shirt yeah see so there's just like a slit in it, so that it makes it easier to fold right over whenever you put your hair in it. It'S like so easy. So if you can line up your hair and even if you can't you want somebody to help you, you could show them this technique and they can probably like do a great job. I'M actually going to pull some of this hair down because i feel like i need to section see how small that is like you really. If you get too much hair in there, it's not going to hold well it'll, come out like sooner than you want it to so just pinch. It lay it down. That'S what it looks like see right there now for some reason, this part of my hair wants to grow in blonde. Just in this one section, and i have no idea why um but yeah that's what it looks like. So i don't normally part my hair in the middle. I do every once in a while, but like not a whole lot um, but yeah. That'S what this this should look good! Okay! I can't angle you down. Let me just scoot back so mine is 18 inches. Again, i need a lighter shirt on, so you guys can like see. Okay - and i i literally just put this in i've - not styled my hair - i'm not um straightened it curled it anything to try to blend it together, but i feel like it blends pretty well. Um with just like literally just putting it in um, so i'm going to show you the back and you can see what it looks like before it is styled. Hopefully it's not too horrible because i haven't seen it either. So it's like this and like this and like this. How is it tell me because i don't know yet um yeah, so i feel so much more like me, my husband is going to love this hair because he loves dark hair. He is um like most men. I feel like like blonde. You know he is the opposite. He loves a good brunette okay, so i love this hair. It'S freaking amazing. Again i can curl it. I can flat iron it. I can add more to it. If i decide that this is like not um enough, like it just blends in look how shiny it's like, it was not shedding like nothing. This is gorgeous it's gorgeous gorgeous and you can put your hair up. Like i said, i mean this stays in for eight weeks, so you can like. Do i even have yeah i got a hair bow. I got a hair, stop playing huh, look we're just gon na. Do all the things in this video see hair up? Oh look! How it's like, oh my god, stop that is adorable! I love it. Why do i keep doing that? Tell me you're a millennial without telling me. Actually this is really curled up. It'S so funny. Okay, that's how it looks. Um now, i'm gon na go clean up. My mess so i used a pack and a half on my hair. Again i have pretty thin hair or just like not a lot of hair um. So if you have thick hair, i would suggest actually there's like a chart. You can go on there and it like tells you how many boxes it thinks that you will need if you have thick hair for sure, you're gon na need three or four, because i used just one and a half, but i mean one and a half is Great that means i still have like. Actually it wasn't even half it was one and not a half. Look at all this i have left like. I have a lot left. So if one of your pieces comes loose or one of them like, if you decide to trim it and you just don't like how it looks, you can remove it with some coconut oil and then just put you another one in there if, for some reason, oh These are reusable by the way too, so um take them out and reuse them. If you want to that's what the extra tapes are for that were in the box, so like you can like take the old tape off that you used in your hair and replace it with a new one and reuse the hair, if you take care of it, If you put oil on it, you don't like um dry it out or like burn it to death. You know um, then you can totally reuse this hair and if you have short hair, you can buy this hair and it works for short, hair too it'll. Just give you volume like it'll make it look like you have more hair same as this. It just won't be long. So that's it. Thank you guys for hanging out, don't forget. I will put um full shine, hair down below the exact one i got, and the link to just like the overall amazon store, because that is where this came from. They do have discounts if you click the little green box. Um i'm going to try to reach out and see if they'll give me a discount they may or may not. It will be down there if they do and i will keep on having this hair for like six to eight weeks, and i will see you guys in the next video bye
