Hey guys, what's up, I am back to you with another video and I'm sorry. I'Ve been kind of quiet for the last couple of months. It'S been a very busy time. We actually got engaged so lots of wedding planning going on lots of things going on with work, so just been very busy, but I wanted to get this video out there today before I kind of forgot about everything that happened with this company, so I actually tried A new brand of hair extensions called Zala hair, so, if you're interested just keep watching all right so reason I wanted to try. This company out is just because there's so much hype about it on YouTube. Obviously I love learning about hair and you think that hair extensions - I don't wear extensions all the time, but I just do like. Sometimes, if I have a lot of travel - and I don't feel like doing my hair - or you know - maybe just like for special events and things like that, so my personal preferred variety is tape. Extensions just because they're kind of like low commitment, you know it's easy to get them in pretty easy to take them out. It'S not like a long-term thing. It'S just like you know six weeks, basically you're committing to so it works. For me, I wear them sometimes, and I wanted to try out this this new brand, just because there's just so much hype about it on YouTube in the beauty community, so I actually ordered to start a set of sixty pieces so on their website you can buy 20 pieces 40 piece of 60 80. You know whatever you think you need just based on like how thick your hair is and what kind of look you're going for, and you can actually pick different colors. So I ordered the 60 pack with 20 pieces of this color, which is champagne blonde and I'm sorry I haven't noticed, looks like I'm looking down so this color champagne blonde and then I ordered 40 pieces of ice queen platinum. So first things. First, when the product arrived and actually only had one pack of this and then the other two instead of being ice, queen platinum blonde, were actually clip in extensions that were dark brown. So it's like not even like the wrong color. It'S it's like the wrong product. Category entirely, so I don't know how they screwed that up - and you know after I emailed them just trying to get a placement took so long because they wouldn't just like ship me, the replacement they wanted me to ship me the wrong ones back first, so that Was really stressful for me, because you know I was trying to think about hey I've got an appointment coming up and I got to make sure that these are here. You know before so I ended up actually having to order from another company so that I make sure that I was gon na. Have the hair ready for my appointment. So that was annoying. Just keep that in mind. If they screw up, they kind of like didn't, really take responsibility and expected me to ship stuff back before they shipped me, the replacement, which i think is stupid anyway. So, ultimately, I did finally receive those ice cream, platinum extensions and I just wanted to let you guys know I don't even have them to show you, because I had to send them right back those ice cream, platinum extensions were essentially gray and I'm not talking like White, I'm not talking, like you know slightly over over toned. You know like with a with a purple tinge. I mean they were straight-up, gray. Okay, so unless your hair is gray, they're not going to work for you like, if you have white blonde platinum, hair they're not going to work for you, so the other thing that I really didn't like is the packaging that they come in and I'll talk about. The packaging for both you know Zala as well as the glam, seamless, glam, seamless, extensions, the I still love and wear to this day. So everything comes in this box, which you know I like the box is nice and inside the box. They basically have a sleeve like this, that holds the extension, so, first of all, when you get them, they're already bent right, so there's already a bend in the hair and then on top of that at the very top. They basically have these tied together with like this little tie like this, and so what happens is it creates this kink? You guys see that so that kink in the hair is really annoying like. I basically had to try to Flatiron it out to try to get it out. Cuz, I'm just thinking like my hairdresser is gon na put this in my hair. She'S gon na basically cut my hair with it and then as like wash it and actually have it. Straightened it could like mess up the haircut so anyway, I don't like the packaging. The other thing that I would say and I'll touch on this more. When I get to the other extensions that I have to show you guys, I don't love the quality of the hair. Now it's not bad okay, so it's like silky, it's smooth! There'S nothing really like wrong with it, but just in terms of like the thickness to the tips. As far as the length goes, I don't feel like this is 20 inches of hair, so this is supposed to be a 20 inch extension and I'll show you guys comparison side-by-side with a 20 inch, glam, seamless, extension and they're definitely longer so just so. You guys kind of get an idea of like how it looks so I'm wearing all of these and the glam seamless, extensions and 20 inches right now, and this is them as long as they will go like you. You cannot wear these longer, so my hairdresser cut them basically just like leaving them as long as possible, just like with minimal blending, and this is kind of what you get. So it's definitely long, but it's not. You know like crazy long right, so some people like they're looking for that princess, look like just our crazy long, hair 20 inches from this company is not gon na. Do it for you, I think 20 inches from glam seamless, well, so alright, so that kind of covers that just talk about price and in terms of like value that you're getting, I do think there are good values. So you know if you get the right, color shipped and you're, able to kind of pick a color that matches. I think it is a good price, so it's actually sixty pieces and I paid three hundred and thirty three dollars, and that includes like tax shipping. Any discount codes that I could find on Google so that that was the total price I'll link all the stuff, exactly what I purchased in the description box, but yeah. So that's kind of my thoughts on that. The other thing that I notice about these extensions that kind of annoyed me is, I don't like these like random, really dark pieces. So I don't know if you can even see that on camera, but there's just like these very random, like dark pieces, and you know obviously I'm blonde and I'm trying to get my hair kind of like bright and light, not really like having these dark streaks in There, which champagne blonde, is really not supposed to have like a brown color in it, so I kind of feel like that has more to do with the hair quality in terms of the tape tabs themselves, like everything's kind of like similar to glam seamless, I would Say I don't, I don't think that there's any you know significant difference in the quality there. I would compare this to glam seamless as remy tape ends alright. So with that said, let's move on and let's actually compared to glam seamless. So because I was dealing with this whole drama with trying to exchange the extensions and get the correct color that I actually ordered, they actually ended up, not getting it back to me in time, and so I just had you know those few pieces that I had In the champagne blonde, I didn't even have the other color because they didn't turn it around in time for me, so I ended up having to order from the usual vendor that I use, which is glam seamless, and I love glam, seamless extensions. So just say that right now, okay, so I actually ordered a few different varieties from them. This time, and normally I just use they are regular remy tapings, so that would be probably the most similar to the Zala hair they're, probably like the most visible tapes. I would say, like they are they're the least concealed in that root area, but they actually have a couple of other different varieties, so they have the invisi tape and then they have the ultra seamless tape. So this time I actually ordered some of these ultra seamless tapes, and so I wanted to show you guys, first of all, the difference in the way that the packaging comes. So one thing that they do that I really really like is: they will put things on this little like tape, holder and it keeps them flat right. There'S nothing like pinching this right here, so there's no creasing and regardless of whether they ship them like this or if they kind of like curl them up like this, there's no crease to the hair. So when you take it out, it's totally straight, it's flat. It'S easier for my hairdresser to put into so this particular color. This is the 18, a / 60 rooted color, and so this is also a perfect match for my hair. You can see it's kind of darker at the root and then it kind of gets, lighter and I'll show you guys side by side the length comparison. So you can see. I'M lining these up over here next to the bottom, and you can see that these pieces are longer so like. If I just run my hand straight down, it's definitely longer by at least an inch and then the other thing is that it's it's thicker. The quality of the hair is better, I mean it feels silky ER. I don't see any of these like random dark pieces that I would consider like a quality defect in that other batch from Zala. There'S. None of that the hair is really nice. It'S really silky. So I have these in my hair right now as well, and I have these pieces kind of like towards the the top, so the other color that I ordered was Vanilla. Swirl highlights so vanilla swirl highlights is not a rated color. It'S basically similar to that champagne. Blonde but like a little bit lighter one thing I did want to tell you: girls is if your hair color is kind of like mine that vanilla, swirl color was pretty like yellow toned, it's not a very like ashy shade. So if you're going for that, like a sheer kind of like grayish type tone, you could definitely still wear them. I'M wearing them right now, they're kind of like the brighter pieces that you see there or they're, adding that bright to my hair, but just keep in mind that they are definitely not ashy toned and I would keep them away from that. Like top layer, that's the most visible because it's not gon na blend well with your hair, if your hair is kind of a sheared. So that's these now as far as the price, these are definitely more expensive. So these in the ultra seamless variety in that rooted color for ten pieces, the price is 135 dollars. So I would say that that's probably like double the price of the sala hair, so kind of makes sense that it's better quality. But I just wanted to kind of explain that, so this is the 20 inch 10 pieces, 135 dollars. The other thing that I got, and so this I randomly picked up on their website just because it was on sale and the color matched me. So they have this range from, I think, a few months back. They introduced this range and they were like not the traditional names like they had Saint Barts blonde, like Malibu blonde or whatever you know they have these like different names right, so the numbers that they normally use. So this particular one is st. Barths blonde. So this will help you guys out, hopefully, if you're, if you're shopping for this color and you're just kind of confused, because I don't have any numbers right. So if you're used to shopping in numbers, these names are very confusing. So this is st. Barths blonde. This is 16 inches and this is in the regular remy tape in. So let me show you guys how that looks at the top and let's compare that with the ultra seamless, and I realize that this is actually kind of hard to see on camera. But I guess the major difference is that the ultra seamless is a lot thinner and it's a lot less visible in your hair. So if you kind of have finer hair towards the top of your head, I think that the ultra seamless is a better safer bet, but if you're not putting them really high in your hair, these are totally fine. My hairdresser actually used these towards the bottom of my hair, just because they are that shorter length, but that's what was on sale so towards the bottom of your hair. It kind of gives you enough length if you put it up here, it's not quite enough length for me um B. As far as the color, I would say that this is extremely similar to that 18. A /, 60 color very, very similar, and this was a really great price, so this pack was actually $ 99 and it was for 20 pieces. So that's essentially like half the price, if not even less than like or more more than half the price of the ultra seamless variety. So this is really a great value like, especially if you don't need all that length. I would just buy this just especially if it's stolen sale, I don't know if it's still available on their site, but I'll link this to if I can find it so anyway, to kind of sum things up, I will not be buying Sallah hair ever again, their Customer service sucks, the quality of the hair, is definitely like lower than glam steam was, I want to say, they're bad quality, they're, not bad quality, but it's it's definitely not the same quality as glam seamless and you kind of get what you paid for. So the price is also lower, they're, definitely more affordable and, if you're on a budget, I probably would say that it's a good option for that price point, but you're gon na have to be patient and you're gon na have to be flexible. You know with your date that you have with your hairdresser in the event that they screw something up and should be the wrong thing like they did with me um so anyway. I hope that that helps you guys out, especially if you are a fan of hair extensions like I am and yeah. If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll try to link down below everything that I bought and everything that I talked about and thanks for stopping by. I hope you guys have a great rest of your day. Bye,

Jillian Grace: the zala hair quality looks way nicer in that comparison . the glam seamless look stringy at the ends, definitely not double drawn or nearly as thick.

Zach Miller: I think it's important to know how hair extensions are actually made. It's very time-consuming. I'm a hair extension manufacturing tech, and honestly the Zala brand looked fuller on the ends than the Glam Seamless when you did the side-by-side. As far as the random dark strands, with manufacturing, there really isn't anything you can always do about single strands during processing. I think people don't realize that the hair in hair extensions are not from a single person's head. If the vendor is being honest, hair extensions are made from the hair of multiple donors (mainly from Chinese or Indian virgin hair, which is naturally black), and sometimes some strands from a person who has previously colored their hair slips through the cracks and doesn't fully process. I totally agree about the annoying pinched look at the top of the extensions, but the hair being bent in the mid-lengths is being picky lol. Company's try to save themselves and the customer money by choosing shipping boxes that the hair will fit in without the box being overly large. Unfortunately, skinny 20-inch long shipping boxes and longer are hard to find lol.

Marlaina Apalucci: That’s really surprising because I had the same exact experience happen twice with Glam. The first time they sent the wrong color not once but twice, and the second time they sent my order a week late after I paid for two day shipping. They refused a refund and I had to reschedule my appointment. The customer service is horrible. The quality of the hair was ok, however the Invisa-tapes do not stay in unless you sandwich it with a regular remy. My extensions came in a hair net and a twisty tie. They shedded a lot as well. I’m waiting for my Zala hair to arrive soon. I haven’t tried them yet.

Kirsty H: Great video, very useful comparison! Silly question from an extension newbie, but when you say "ten pieces" etc, is that 20 extension pieces that you would sandwich together with your own hair layered inbetween to get 10 extensions? Or is it 10 pieces that you would sandwich together to get 5 extensions? Hope that makes sense! Thanks again!

Katy Dutil: Zala doesn’t last long the quality of the hair gets dry and tangled easily no matter how much care I attend to them it’s sucks :(

Shelly Watson: From the video, it looks like the Zala extentions are better quality with much better/thicker ends?

Adele Gaffer: Zala looks so much nicer? Am I blind or something? The other ones looks so thin and whispy and they don’t really match your hair when you hold them against your head.. zala looks so much better quality than the others they look dry? X

Evelyn Jimenez: After receiving and opening my package I realized that 60 pieces was not enough for my thick brown hair ._. I’m Latina, so if you guys want to order hair extensions from zala order two packs of 80 pieces. (Tape ins) or pick a different brand lol

Ladyofthewoodsasmr: Yesss I used to like that brand, but i ordered clip ins and the ends were blunt like they had been cut...not Remy. Then I ordered tape ins, same color champaign and supposed to be 18 inches but once again the ends were uneven right out the package. I tried contacting them and they did nothing. Also your supposed to get zala points and I noticed that when I went to check out there was nowhere to put the promo code...i emailed them about that but they did nothing just told me there's a spot where I check out but it wasn't there I felt very ripped off

Kate Reyburn: my zala clip ins came in the mail yesterday and they looked soo waxy and synthetic, i tried to shampoo them to see if that would take out some of the shine but they still feel fake and gross to touch. i'm mad because i paid for remy human hair.

Melody Patterson: Wow this is surprising. I've worn Zala tapes for years and NEVER had an issue! If you want longer hair, buy the longer ones?

Megan Yastrab: I have Zala tape in extension and hate them. I just ordered Glam Seamless tape in’s to try next. The zala hair is very luxurious, but it’s sooo bulky, and almost bushy!! It curls weird, too. It doesn’t straighten very well, either. The tape on them holds up well; it’s just too damn bushy, and I only had 2 packs.

Brandice Evans: I think you didn't read descriptions and order the correct length and color for yourself. Their website says champagne blonde is a highlighted blonde, and champagne itself is a darker blonde shade. Whoever does your hair could be getting you way lighter to your hair goal if you're going for that light/bright platinum like you say. Zala also has balayage ones that may have been a better match. Lastly, the length/ends issue...I think zala looks more natural with a less blunt end that can be a dead giveaway/fake look with extensions. I use several brand of clip ins and tape ins and I think zala are on par with others.

womanwithtoolbelt: Damn I’m so glad I didn’t order Zala

Makeup Momma: Am I crazy but the Zala hair looked so much better towards the ends. Like way thicker. I think I read The darker random pieces are supposed make the hair look more natural . Anyway you have beautiful hair❤️

brianaarnelle: Glam seamless is a rip off the hair is so stringy at the end and it thins so quickly. You have to buy 4 packs of their expensive hair to have a nice full head. Who cares if the pieces are longer when they look raggedy.

Jennifer x9000: 100% zala extensions are fucken amazing. I swear this isn’t bullshit . I hate them now bc of a issue but I keep going back bc they they good.

C.L. Ray: Congrats and your ring is beautiful

beep: Has anyone else had zala tape ins? When I wash them they turn curly. They come straight but get REALLY curly when wet. My hair’s straight, they never told me they would be curly. And I don’t know how to care for curly hair. Annoying

Sadie Black: I literally just ordered from Glam in August and my extensions did not come on that little tab thing. Mine were packaged just like Zala's. I just ordered Zala hair but my glam hair is completely trashed in 6 months. I ordered 24" and I have had to cut so much off so frequently that they are now 12"-14" extensions. My glam also started out straight but the hair is NOT straight. Like they put a relaxer on it or something because it's so curly and COARSE! Omg the coarseness of my glam hair drives me insane it is constantly tangled. This is my biggest pet peeve with extension companies. I feel like there is 0 consistency.

Elise Van Ormer: Same thing happened to me with the platinum hair from zala!! Such a disappointment.

Evelyn Jimenez: I’m scared.. I just ordered some clip ins from zala

Jodi Cherry: Girl. Zala looks so much better

Meehlyn: I only use Zala’s hair!!

Samantha Higgins: I ordered zala hair last night for afterpay and hoping they are worth it

Jen Jen: I have zala extentions....WORST quality I've EVER used..... tangled and very dry..... hated them...wore 2 times....bulky wefts too.....dry tangly hair with bulky wefts = waste of hundreds of dollars for me ..... for the record I went to beauty school and I've been wearing extentions for over 10 years.... zala is terrible.....

Vanessa Perchatkin: ok so what website is best to buy from then! I see so many bad reviews in the comments

Lydia: Girl the bots in your comment section are owned by zala that are saying their extensions are good! They all have a pattern, the acounts are 5-11 years old, no videos, no playlists, just their subscriptions so those accounts are stolen! I’ve even seen zala’s management do this with new accounts too. BIG RED FLAG The extensions are not 100% human hair. Worst and the most untrustworthy company out there.
