Mariah La'Shay Way: I am aware everyone has preferences and trials & errors on what to do with clients. But every client depending on their hairs health doesn't need a perm or texturizer frl frl. I'm not knocking the style tho it's still cute she did her thing. But for future references. With clients who have shorter textured thick-coarse hair a deep hair cleanse with the right shampoo & conditioner, a silk press out using hot comb and flat iron.. Her hair was already damaged and short so u dnt wanna cause friction and/or anymore issues to the scalp or hair A flat mold down using hair spray a hair wax would do the trick better no using make up on hair unless it's a wig ONLY. Just take time and have Patience frl frl and if hair is damaged but still wants middle part or side swoop USE WEAVE to add in just a few tracks to blend in like 2 or 3 pieces for thickness and mold that shit down sit shorty under the dryer bada bang bada boom take her out apply the tracks using either Bobby pins or rubber bands for glueless method. Or if using glue cn either wrap around a bun/braid u placed hair in or do what the vid did
