Dyson Hair Dryer Dupe!?!? / #Laifen Swift Hair Dryer

Hey guys welcome back so for today's video. We are going to be talking about this Lathan Swift, hair, dryer and whether it is a dupe for the Dyson hair dryer. I think it's the air wrap and they have a few other models. As many of you know, the dysons are super popular because they can blow dry your hair, so quick, they cut down the drying time significantly. The only problem with the dysons is that they are like well over 300, so many people they're just not going to Shell out, including me, over 300 for a hair dryer as much as I would like to so. That'S where this comes in, I'm going to cover this go over what it comes with um the features of it and my personal opinion of it, and whether I think it is a dupe but anyways don't forget to subscribe to my channel hit the like button and The notification Bell down below and without further Ado, if you guys, would like to find out more about the life and Swift hair dryer, and if it's a dupe to the Dyson, then just keep watching. If you've been watching me for years, you know that I've always got some type of hair extension in my hair, whether it be clip-ins, a hair, topper, tape-ins, um, Halo, like Etc. So recently I converted over to hand-tied hair extensions or like the waterfall or sewn in hair extensions, so they're semi-permanent. I got to get them taken out and sewed back in every few months. I love them, but the problem with it is that these extensions take forever to hair dry and yeah. I could air dry them, but with the hand tied you're supposed to what I would typically do until this came along is, I would just dry my scalp, because the wefts you don't want them to start to get like wavy uh. So you have to dry your hair with these extensions um again it takes forever. It can take like 15 or more minutes even 20. Just the hair does not want to dry so years. Prior before I even got these, I would hear all about the Dyson and how it just blow dries your hair instantly. It'S amazing, but the problem is that it's over like 300 or more and I'm like you, know, I'm not gon na shell out that money plus um. Typically, at the end of the day, I'm taking out my extensions, my hair, I typically would air dry it or dry super quick, so I never really had the urge to go for um the Dyson, for example. Now that I have these extensions, I'm like oh, my goodness, what am I gon na? Do these take forever to dry? So that's where this comes in and I just needed to give a little back story for those of you who have extensions hand, tied extensions tape and extensions. You know um or even what are the other ones called like the tip ones. You know that your hair can take forever to dry, especially if you're in a hurry. So this right here is awesome. I'M gon na go over what comes in the Box, all the features of it, but basically just for starters. This is a third of the price of the Dyson, so I think it's a little over a hundred dollars. I'M gon na have everything listed down below for you guys. The Dyson is well over 300 or more. I don't even know if they go to like 400. So this is a third of the price which is great, definitely more affordable. So This Is The Life in Swift, hair dryer, and this attachment it comes with two attachments, and did you see how easily it goes on comes off? You don't have to like twist and everything it just literally goes on. So this is the attachment that I use, but it also is nice because it comes with this diffuser attachment as well a little um side. Note I actually have like Curly wavy hair. So if I ever was going to wear my hair, curly or wavy, this is what I would put on and then I kind of like blow dry. It and kind of like do that with it. Um little side note, but this is like a little diffuser attachment as well, and then it comes with if I can grab it this instruction manual right here, but honestly, it's pretty straightforward how to use this um. So I've only had this for a little bit and I've used it twice and you guys I was blown away yesterday. I timed myself. I couldn't get my other camera to work because I was going to insert a clip, but I washed my entire hair. My extensions. I tried to just wash once a week, but throughout the week I'll just section off and wash the top of my hair like once or twice or like twice a week or every other well every like couple days, but my extensions. I try to just do once a week, so I washed my whole head yesterday and I put the timer on my phone and it was under seven minutes. You guys, like it's crazy and the nice thing about this and other hair dryers, especially like I don't even know just regular hair dryers. Even my um Revlon one step, hair dryer that I've been using for years with the brush it's heavy and after a while it can really hurt your arm um and you just get your arm just gets tired. This is super lightweight. I know it doesn't look lightweight, but it really is, and the reason for this feeling lightweight is because typically most hair dryers have the motor in the head, the motor's down here. So it's just much easier to hold um and it just feels lighter. So I really like that, especially for traveling purposes, if you want to pack this in your suitcase, usually hair dryers can take up quite a bit of room and they're heavy, this one's actually pretty lightweight. So I do like that now in terms of turning it on which I'm going to show you. It'S super easy. We don't have a million buttons going on here and that's why I said like it comes with the instruction manual. But honestly, I didn't even need to really look at it because it's so easy to know what you're doing so, I'm gon na turn it on just to show you. But basically this is the power button and there's two like um power levels. So that's gon na be like medium and then that's going to be high, so I'm going to keep it on medium. I'M gon na turn it off for a second and then next, what I'm gon na do. I'M gon na turn it on so this button right here is going to control the temperature and it's funny because my um kitten Jax was just right there and as soon as I turned it on, he darted out of the room, but anyway so on this button. Right here, once it's on you control the temperature settings. There'S three there's cool air which I like to use at the end. Um then there's warm and then there's hot and it goes. It has like a tri-colored system, so you're gon na see the blue and then I believe it's yellow and orange. I'Ve got ta like remember, but I'm gon na show you in a second, so I'm gon na turn this on. So you can see and then right now, it's blue if it's picking up on camera and for this I like to after I'm done blow drying, I like to just go over my um heads with cold air to kind of close up the cuticles, because it's good So next I'm going to hit this and it's more of like a orangey, yellow color. I don't know if you guys can see it if it's picking up on camera or not - and this is warm air - it's not super hot, so you could totally blow dry. Your hair with it like this and then lastly, it's red, you guys, can see it right there lighting up, and this is much warmer um. I go back and forth between the two and that's it you guys like it's super easy um. It'S really not that loud. Like I was able to talk over it uh and that's it so overall, actually there's a few more things that I did want to mention about this that um. I just want to look on my phone, so you guys know um. It has smart temperature control. Excuse me, which protects your hair from overheating, which is nice, especially for me, I'm blonde. I have frizzy hair, I'm constantly always trying to grow my hair so um. He is one of the things that damages my hair. So I like that it does have that feature. Um it has high density, negative, ions and also a long lifetime up to a thousand hours equivalent to 16 years of usage, if used 10 minutes a day. So I'm obviously not using this every day, because I don't blow my wash or blow dry my hair every day, but that's crazy. So I did want to mention all that, but it's like so simple. It'S amazing! I timed myself yesterday and it was under seven minutes. You guys and I have 18. I have two rows of 18 inch extensions in my hair. Let me tell you these take forever to blow dry under seven minutes. I was super impressed in my opinion. I think this is definitely a dupe for the Dyson. It'S very similar to it. It is a fraction of the price, so it's more affordable. You have a long lifetime, they have good customer service. So I definitely wanted to shout this out because I was so intrigued by the the super hair dryers or the fast hair dryers or the dysons. I know there's a couple other brands out there, but I never wanted to Shell out the money and that's where this comes in definitely more affordable and it has just as many features as the dysons, if not more, very simple, to use very lightweight and you're gon Na get many uses out of this plus it's great for travel.
