How To: Create Balayage Highlights On 4C Hair Using Tape In Extensions | Amazing Beauty Hair

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so i'm gon na show you guys how i went from this with my natural hair to this right here, i'm so obsessed with the blonde. In my hair it turned out so good. So if you guys want to know how i highlight or balayage my hair, using tape ins without having to damage my natural hair, make sure you guys subscribe to my channel and keep on watching. So the first thing that i like to do is i like to make sure i have crisp clean parts, and you want to part your hair in three sections. I just find that it makes it a lot easier for me when i do my hair like this. So i'm gon na part one section down the middle and then two sections on the sides and we're gon na work on the back section. So this is what my natural hair looks like and, as you can see, i already went in and applied some of my tapes on the top. Now i could have went in with all of the blonde and just applied all of the blonde all over, but i wanted to go for more of a subtle look like a more highlighted effect throughout kind of weaved throughout. I didn't want to necessarily just have a lot of blonde throughout my whole hair, so what i did was i just added a black piece of tape ends on the top and then i added the amazing beauty, hair tape in on the bottom, which gave me a More subtle effect with the highlighted situation, but if you're somebody who wants more blonde you're more than welcome to go in with the top and the bottom tape both being blonde, i was just a little nervous because i really don't wear a lot of color like that And it was my first time using color really so i wanted to kind of keep it subtle, but for sure i think next time i'm gon na do a combination of both of like one tape and all blonde one tape and black and blonde just to kind Of give me a little bit more dimension, so i am wearing the color b4 27 from amazingbeautyhair.com and shout out to them for working with me on today's video. I was really nervous because, like i said, i'm not a color person, but the color was bomb okay. It'S like a chocolate brown mixed with like a dark brown mixed with, like a warm blonde, and sometimes i see a little bit of like a cool tone blonde in there with the super highlighted pieces. So it's giving very much like caramel frappuccino, it's giving a starbucks drink and i'm so here for it. I absolutely love it at first. I was like i'm not sure if the color of the texture is going to blend with my natural hair, because you know the amazing beauty, hair texture was more of a straight texture and my hair is more of a textured hair. Because again i am black. So i was just a little nervous about that, but it turned out so great it blended. So well with my natural hair. I think next time for sure i want to try going a little bit more blonde and i am wearing all 20 inches, so that was well. It turned out so great, so i'm gon na. So once i have finished my hair, i'm just going to show you guys what it looks like as soon as i was done. Applying all the tape ends, it looks so good and it just looks so natural, even though the amazing beauty hair was straight textured. It still was a little poofy, so it worked out perfectly with my natural 4a 4b hair, whatever you guys want to call it. So this was just a great way to introduce a little bit of color into my hair without having to make such a huge change of like going completely blonde. It'S kind of like when you go to the salon and you want to go blonde. They start you off with a brown and then a little bit lighter and lighter and lighter until you get to the destination you are looking for. It turned out so good, i'm absolutely obsessed, so i'm just gon na go in and add some layers. I really didn't. Do any detailing on this um i followed someone else's video that i seen them do this on their natural hair. I will link her video down below that way. You guys can check it out, but yeah, i'm just going in and just layering my hair with a razor and i'm starting after my natural hair. So you don't want to cut your natural hair when you do this, because i do wear tape. Ins often so i don't want to be cutting my natural hair, so i'm just going to let you guys watch me add some layers in this and then we're going to start the curling process. Okay. So after i curled my hair, i'm gon na go in with my eap straightener and i'm just going to curl my hair. Now. Do you see the dimension? Oh, my god, it just looks so pretty. I quote this piece going the wrong way and it was way too thick um. But do you guys see the dimension like look at that? It looks like a caramel swirl and that's basically what i was going for, because it just looks so good and the hair curled, so amazing it holds a curl very well and it blends with my natural hair even better. So i'm super obsessed y'all. I love amazing beauty, hair and i love that they have color. So we are all done, and here is the finished result like i said the color just shows through so much better when the hair is curled. You can still see when it's straight, but when it's curled baby it just gives a whole different vibe and i'm so obsessed with it. It turned out amazing, so i'm just going in right now and just kind of breaking my curls apart, but it looks so good, like you can't even tell that i have tape ends in which is the whole point. But the fact that i have color tape, ins - and you can't see those as well - is just amazing and i absolutely love it. One thing i will note when you're applying colored tape ends is you do not want to put the color tape ins around the perimeter of your hair, because when you go to pull your hair up in a ponytail, if your natural hair is not the same color As the tape that you applied it's going to show, so you want to make sure that around the perimeter you're putting a black tape in and a color tape in or just all black tape and or a tape, and that matches your natural hair texture.
