*Detailed* How To Install Tape-In Extensions Tutorial On Natural Hair Ft. Perfect Distractions Hair

A better place: what's up beautiful people, it's your job and welcome back to my channel. So, as you can see by the thumbnail in the title today, i am going to be walking y'all through this tape. In extension, install and i'm getting my extensions installed at perfect distraction, hair gallery in atlanta, i believe they have locations in smyrna and sandy springs and y'all. When i tell y'all i enjoy myself, i loved it, but i was like you know what let me show the girls how to do it right. Okay, let me show the girls how to do it right, so she started off originally giving me a hydration treatment on my hair and she did that. While i was like getting shampooed and i had to sit on the dryer for a little bit and now she's just going through and blow drying my natural hair y'all and when i tell y'all i could literally i was sitting there. I was feeling the hair just get straight like i was just feeling it. I was like yeah she's doing it, she's done it and going in there. I already knew i needed to trim so as y'all can see the ends, they were not looking pretty so when she finished blow drying you're going to see later on. I did get a trim, but right now, she's just going through with the blow dryer and the paddle brush, and that paddle brush is getting it straight y'all. So from there she put my hair in a little ponytail. So that way she can go through and start flat ironing and one thing that she actually did tell me when flat ironing, because i let her know that i do like to wear my hair curly from time to time some people who wear their hair straight um. So often do prefer for their hair to get heat trained, not heat damage heat trained, but i was telling her. You know i like my curls to revert back, and so she actually said if you are the type of person who likes your curls, to revert back after wearing a straight style when you straighten your hair, make sure you're using a flat iron with ceramic plates versus My um nano titanium, which has titanium plates okay, so yeah and y'all, will see what i mean more on that like later in the video. But, for example, when i straighten my hair, i usually use my timer straightener, which i believe has ceramic plates versus my blue flat irons, my babyliss pro flat irons, which are all titanium plates and that's why they like bright silver or whatever. So, instead of using those straightening, your hair, all the time, use the ceramic plates, which i'm pretty sure are whatever color hers are, and now it was time for a trim and i'm pretty sure y'all can see the ends you guys like y'all see it. So it was, she only had to cut off maybe about an inch of hair, but i didn't really care because you know quality over quantity. I guess so yeah. She showed me how much she was cutting off and i was like yeah girl do whatever you have to do, and she basically just trimmed those ugly ends. I so this is my hair post trim looking so much more healthier y'all. It looked and felt amazing and she just put my hair in a little bun for like a cute before and after picture of. Obviously, once i get the tape ends and whatnot so yeah and now it was time to install the tape ends, and so what she did is parted out. My leave out first, and so i only decided to leave out the middle part for this style because i feel, like the middle part, is so cute and you can always like flip over. You know your tape ends if you want to kind of do a little cute side, no part look or whatever, so she parted that up, and then we left out a lot of the perimeter which you see um just around my head. So that way, when you pull your hair up into a ponytail or bun, you don't have any tape showing or anything like that, and so you'll see, like kind of the amount of hair that she left in the back. I mean left out in the back and then on the sides as well one day. Look at me today. It has been so long since i wrote a song, and this is how the leave out looks, plus you know, what's left out in the front for a leave out and the hair that we're going to be installing today is actually hair from perfect distractions. You know hair gallery, and so i got the afro straight in 18 inches and, as you can see, i'm using like two bundles of that and y'all this hair. I love this if i had to choose a hair texture or just the type of hair to wear for the rest of my life. It would be this one just because of how realistic and how well it blended like. I cannot make this up so yeah if y'all are interested in purchasing the hair. So now she's installing the tape ins, you guys - and so one thing that i noticed that she was doing that. I really liked is in order to keep the tape in it's like clean and make sure her hair - that's not supposed to be in. There doesn't get in there when she parts the hair off she kind of pulls it. So that way, she only gets the hair that she's, you know using in the actual tapes in there, and then she cleans up the sides and goes from there and then, on top of that, when she parts each row to put the tape ends on. If you guys saw my taping video, where i would kind of just part off a little bit put, the tape ends on and then kind of part off a row in between and leave no tape ends on that whatever sounds confusing right. Basically, she just parts off one row of hair right and so imagine the rose. She just kind of sections off a little bit of hair from the very top of the roll leaving everything else in the row like no tape in and then puts the tape in on top. So that way, like you, still have a good deal of hair out, but you, like you, don't have way too many tape ends in your head, so hopefully that wasn't too confusing. But basically, what i'm trying to say is it wasn't just like back to back rows of tape ends or it wasn't two rows of tape and sitting on top of each other. It was more so taping hair, taping hair, but then, obviously all the tape bands were like side by side, but your hair was still throughout the style. Okay had to ask a question: if you happy girl, i'll change your mind anytime in this happy world, let's go and kick it you and me and see what love unfurls cause girl. I bet you love some tugging on them. Lovely curls hold up a week up after that believe he started dating my heart was racing, but never felt. My time was wasting my mind was chasing ain't no debating i'm feeling you and trying to get together figure out what to do. Even after some disasters we were making it work, but never did i ever think that you were doing the dirt stay cute. While you smiling your brand new skirt, just happy that we been together and we never get hurt so say girl. While you kick it with them, guys all dumb, if you ever got some worries, one with me all done change the picture that you paint until the paint all gone cause, i'm just falling for the artist like your name on some light, wonder if you spend the Winter now, when you get towards the front, it's very important to make sure you're angling. Your tape ends just like she's doing right here in the video, because this is going to ensure that you're able to pull your hair up into that ponytail in the bun and don't worry, like you, can literally angle. This way, all the way throughout the style and it'll still fall down perfectly. So you don't have to worry about. You know oh well what, if it doesn't cover my leave out, it literally covered the leave out perfectly and what she did to seal the tape ends. Is she actually went through with a little small flat iron and first applied a little bit of heat to the adhesive on the tape in and then went through with some small pliers and just basically squished it together? So that way, it just kind of you know sealed it down together with the little heat and them tape. Bands was there when i was telling y'all like when she was pulling my hair up into the ponytail when she was curling. I was nervous at first because i'm like dang, but no, they are really in there and they are not moving stuck in the so, as y'all can see, we're done installing the tape ends y'all and now she's about to go through and straighten this hair, and when I tell y'all this right here. This part is like a magic trick, because when you see how this hair blends, it was amazing and she's actually using the nano titanium babblets pro flat, irons, which i have those at home as well. Those are one of my favorite pair and so i'll link them in the description box. So you guys can purchase them if you want to as well but yeah. So she just went through and straightened the hair, y'all and just watch is still my favorite part easy to end and hard for me to start. You don't want to feel that part of me that's cold and i'm with apathy cause when i feel nobody. I can't trust nobody now y'all know me. I love a good layer with any hairstyle that i do and i feel like layering just helps any extensions or just any, like extension style, look way more natural, and so she went through and was layering all throughout my hair and she also like layered the back Um of my hair as well, so that way it looked better when she curled it and the way i like to do my layers is i layer from basically you see that short bang. Looking piece of my real hair, i will literally layer from that piece down. So it just looks like the hair is gradually getting longer and at some point you won't even be able to tell where my real hair starts and when my real hair ends so yeah and y'all already know. We have to do the ponytail in the bun test. Y'All and it came out so cute i was so happy like i was. Talk about this hairstyle as well, because i'm in love but yeah and then obviously with the hair in the back, got to use a little brush. Nonetheless, it was cute and now it's time for the curls so for their curls. She used another pair of babyliss pro flat irons that i also do have, and so i will link that in the description box as well, but y'all. I did not know that these flat irons were that good at curling they're, not my favorite, to like straighten my hair with, but i knew they was good for something i just didn't know. It was curls but y'all. Look at these curls and look at how the hair holds the curls y'all see in the end of the video. We did decide to kind of just comb out the curls, but we didn't want to i'm pretty sure them. Curls would have stayed and i'll probably go back later on tonight and curl my hair. This exact same way just because i love it y'all, it literally looked amazing need, but you guys, here's the final look and y'all get into it.
