Hey guys welcome back to my channel. If you don't already know, i am nigel lavey, please like comment and subscribe to my channel. I will be posting more content soon, but let's get into this video. So today i am going to be doing a soya tape and hair extension review. So, as you can tell like, i've already done a review and this review is just going to be a apple review to get started. I'Ve had this hair in for about seven weeks now, almost eight weeks - and you know, taping extensions last for like six to eight weeks - is what they want you to do, but i've had them in first seven and like a half weeks, and so far like i Love them one thing. One thing i did not like is: i got. I ordered straight hair. We all know i do not have naturally straight hair, but i order straight hair. So in the summer time you know it's not. Silk pressed season in the summertime, so in the summer time, when i go outside and it's humid outside or anything my natural hair puffs up, so the hair will be straight, but my natural hair will be puffed up. So if you have that type of problem, i suggest you get like curly hair and then have your stylish straighten it or if you're doing it yourself, then you straighten it yourself, but that was one thing i did not like, but i just kept fixing it and Kept putting heat in my hair, another thing is, i don't like to put a lot of heat in my hair, but that's obviously what you have to do when you have straight hair attached to your head. So that's what i had to do. Another thing is when you're washing your hair, because my hair gets oily, so i have to wash it frequently. So when i washed my hair, like my hair, would be curly and then the tape lens would be straight, so i would have to go through and straighten the whole thing and blow dry. The whole thing like it was my natural hair, which was kind of hard, but you know i did it because i had to do it, but i had a couple of questions in the comments. Um. A lot of people wanted me to do an update, and this is just the update. You know letting you know that everything that went on with this hair - it straightens perfectly it curls perfectly. It can hold a curl. Another thing is, if you put too much heat on it, it does get like that burnt, hair smell. So that's why i continuously washed my hair, because i continuously put heat on it and got that burnt hair smell right now. It'S kind of oily because i've been just putting my hair up in a bun lately, because i was tired of putting heat on my natural hair because i did not want to get heat damaged, so i've been putting up in a bun. So all the products and stuff is just getting into my hair. So it's looking kind of you know you know, but it's it's. It doesn't really get stiff after a while, i mean, since i've been putting products in it, it kind of got stiff, but once i wash it and redo it, it like gets that stiffness away or whatever, but also people wanted to wanted to know. If i used all 80 pieces, you know this has 20 in a pack, and i told you that i had bought four, but when she installed my hair, i only used three packs. So i only use 60, but i did a side part and she told me if i would have did a middle part that i would have needed all 80 of the tape bands. So keep that in mind. If you want a middle part, i guess you have to use more, but if you want a side part you use less. That was one thing um they're asking which hair did i get. This is the one. This was the straight hair that i got off of amazon, nothing more to that um another person for a middle part. You think i should use three packs or four packs. My head is small and i ball ahead. A little bit like i said, my style is for my hair type and i have very thin hair. I guess you could say, but she told me that i would have needed four packs for middle part and three times four side part. But it was just a lot of things like that. Did you have to get a silk press before i did get my hair pressed before she installed the tape in so yes, um it blends. Well, thank you. Thank you, but yes, it blended well until you know later on, when i had them and i would walk outside and it's hot it's humid and summer time, so my natural hair will pop up, but i feel like in the fall if i was to get straight Hair again it would, it would do way better in the fall, because you know it's not as humid in the fall. So keep that in mind, but i loved it overall. I would get it again, but it would have to be in the fall time for me to get straight hair again, but i feel like i'm going to stick to trying like a curly type of style, but overall they lasted. I did at one point have to remove two in the front and i replaced them myself. I just put two new ones in the front, but my hair is thin so when it started to grow out it kind of tugged on it and when i would put it up in a ponytail, they would kind of show through the top of my ponytail. Just because they were starting to fall down, so they wouldn't go correctly like how they worked in the beginning. So i did replace two of them, but i think that's really all it was nothing really bad about them. Just the humid, the growing out part i the burnt smell, but it was a lot of good things to it as well like it keeping this curl, it was straightened. Well, it would blend pretty well with my hair, at least, but i love the hair. I think y'all should try. It out, see how it works for you, because it did work for me, and i hope you guys, like this video y'all asked for updates. So this is the update before i take them out, but yes guys. So please, like comment and subscribe and stay tuned for more content, bye guys. I do want to tell y'all that when you are remembering it either get it removed by a stylist me personally, i'm going to put alcohol to it and kind of remove it. Just a little bit like on a cotton swab and just kind of remove it. But if you don't want to pull out your real hair, i would go to a stylist or you can buy the spray remover from amazon, which i didn't have the time to buy. That so i'm just going to use the alcohol for now, but after i use my alcohol, i'm going to do like a hot oil treatment and a deep conditioning treatment. So my hair cannot be as dry and brittle and we're just going to keep it moisturized throughout a couple of days, just to know make sure it's still good but yeah. I just wanted to tell you all that, just in case anybody wants to know that, but yeah bye, guys

FJ: With tape ins you should be able switch between middle & side part as well as a ponytail. I was kind of confused when you said the stylist said you’d need more for a middle part.

FJ: Use conditioner or some type of hair spray to remove the tapes because alcohol will dry your hair out .

Adriana Gonzales: thank you 4 update
