Hey guys. Welcome to the -- --, Lynette and Roxette show. Our names are just too similar, so we -- -- had to do it., Oh. Jinx. You owe me a car. Since when did it go up from there? It'S 2018 girl. All right! Well, jeez. We're really excited.. We are actually two of Ipsy's in-house creators and we are excited to be partnering with ULTA Beauty.. So we went and got our hair done. The other day. Yeah., I'm so impressed with how it looks because my hair is actually very, very short.. It'S like this short., Where is your actual natural --? This is my actual hair, my natural hair, these little layers in the front., But I got these gorgeous tape-in extensions --. They look so pretty. -- and we did a little bit of a balayage for my hair., So wait girl. This is your first time having tape-in extensions. Yeah.. I had already had experiences with all kinds of extensions before, but we did actually add some pieces in here., But how do you feel You've had them for a couple of days now.. I love them. They're, so easy because -- They lay so flat huh. Yes, you can't feel them.. You know what mean To be honest before I had gotten tape-in extensions, which was now a couple of years ago. I was like I don't know, I don't think so. And then now I'm a believer.. I love it because they lay so flat. And you can actually do stuff like you can put your hair up, you can do like --, I don't know. I just feel like they're, very versatile and they're just so easy because you don't have to do anything.. You wake up and you're like I woke up like this literally. Literally.. Well, you don't have to clip them. In.. You don't have to clip them. In.! You don't have to spend the time to work with them.. They just kind of look amazing.. So a couple of tips I do have for you though. This brush, the wet brush is perfect.. So right after you get out of the shower, you can just spray some detangle spray and then this brushes right over it. And they won't pull it out. No, it doesn't pull it out.. Ok, because that's one thing I was worried. About. These bristles -- see feel it --. They just are softer --, They're, really really soft. --, so they just kind of go with it. And that way it just brushes right. Over and you're all good and they still stay nice and flat., And then the other thing I want to say is make sure to stay away from oils or when you're putting conditioner in --. I mean you kind of want to avoid putting conditioner on your scalp anyway, but -- Really -- go more on your ends. Yeah. You want to kind of stay away from that., But other than that wash and dry the same showers, the same. I'm an extension veteran. So any more questions The stylist actually really did tell me some good tips and tricks, as well as far as care and upkeep, and when I should be coming back into the salon to -- Yes. -- get them touched up, --, That's good., -- and everything.. She said every six weeks. Yeah do that because, honestly, then they start to fold a little bit.. You want them to stay, really nice and flat like that.. So if you wait longer than six weeks, they start to get a little bit. --. The glue starts to give a little bit., So you want to -- yeah six weeks is good. And you have them in right. Now too right. I just have a few pieces. But they're like the same length as your hair. So I feel, like that's a good tip for anybody watching.. If you have finer hair, if you want to just add some volume, it's cool to just go into the salon and get a few in, even if you're not going for length. Exactly. Just to get some oomph. You know We all want that. Va, va voom.! Yes, we do., They look so good on you.. I know --, I'm so excited. --, I'm so excited.. You look so good. Are we gon na eat? I'M hungry. Uh-oh.
