How To Care For Klix Hair Extensions

How to Care and Maintain your Klix Hair Extensions

Hi, I'm Alex from kliks hair extensions, and today I'm going to show you how to maintain your clicks at home. After your stylist has applied your clicks tensions, they should explain to you how to care for them, and they should give you a maintenance sheet. If you lose that maintenance sheet, you can refer back to this video when it comes to coloring clicks, hair extensions, we don't recommend it. Although some stylists successfully color them, it does void our warranty. The touch-ups on your clicks are necessary. Every four to six weeks. Color touch-ups should be done before your move ups and it's not recommended to remove your clicks tensions before a color retouch to minimize damage when you're swimming. We recommend that you apply a leave-in conditioner or a mask to your hair before you get in the water and never wear a swim cap as it can damage your hair after swimming immediately wash your hair with tepid water, prolonged exposure to the Sun, saltwater, saunas or Pool chemicals is not recommended when brushing your clicks tensions. We recommend a soft floor. Bristle and nylon brush avoid brushes with balls on the ends as they can catch. The clicks flat brush at least twice a day, avoid pulling on your extensions and start at the bottom and work your way up. It'S very important to brush both under and over your panels to avoid matting of the clicks so you're gon na brush over and brush under, do not tease your hair extensions. You can tease your natural hair, just not the clicks to reduce tangling while you're sleeping always wear your extensions in a loose or low ponytail or a braid. Do not wear your hair up or back for long periods of time. Excessive tension may cause damage or irritation to your hair or your scalp, and we don't recommend that you sleep with wet hair. We recommend waiting 24 hours after your application to wash your hair thoroughly brush before you wash. We don't recommend that you use circular motions scrub or pile your hair on top of your head when you wash your hair, make sure to wash and rinse under each laughs, lifting each panel and sectioning your hair. My favorite way to do this is to put the shampoo in your hands. Emulsify, take your fingers in between your panels and pull through and make sure when you are rinsing. You rinse, in between each of your panels above and below not rinsing out. All of the shampoo in between your wife's can make your scalp itchy and irritated, so it's best to lift your panels and rinse always condition or use a mask after washing your extensions and don't use shampoo with glycerin or silicone or sulfur, especially dandruff shampoos. Don'T use silicone based conditioners or masks or products anywhere near the links, because it can encourage slippage. You can find a list of recommended products on our website or you can ask your stylist what they recommend for your clicks. Use a hydrating mask at least once a week to keep your extensions moisturized when you're blow-drying. Your extensions, make sure that you use low or medium heat settings do not apply styling products close to the micro links anytime. You style always use the heat. Protectant use a soft boar, bristle brush when you're blow-drying and make sure to dry, underneath every single one of your panels and try to keep curling irons and flat irons away from your panels prior to any medical testing. We recommend discussing with your doctor that you do wear hair extensions. Our extensions are applied with an aluminum micro link and they can show up on MRI screenings. The extra weight of the extensions might take a few days to get used to, and some clients may be uncomfortable during the first three days after your application. Any mild over-the-counter pain reliever may relieve the discomfort if you're still uncomfortable after that three-day period return to your stylist and they may be able to adjust your extensions to make them a little bit more comfortable. We don't recommend wearing clicks after pregnancy or during breastfeeding. If hair loss is present, women can experience hair loss for three to nine months after breastfeeding us stopped. If you feel that there is a problem with your extensions, we require that you contact your stylist as soon as possible for an evaluation of your hair. If your stylist cannot remedy the issue, they can contact clicks directly for a resolution. We may require that the stylist send in a small panel of the extension so that we can evaluate it if you're moving, traveling or live in more than one location. We suggest that you check our salon locator on our website at WWE um, to make sure that there is a click certified stylist that can maintain your extensions. We highly suggest that you call in advance of your move to make sure that they can accommodate you and some stylists change locations and forget to tell us so our salon, locator, is only as good as the information that we're given you
