The methods for storing human and synthetic hair wigs is the same; you don't need to differentiate between the two. The only difference you do need to remember is that synthetic wigs and human hair wigs require different styling methods. Remember no heat on synthetics!

For storing a wig without a wig head for longer periods, start by brushing your wig in its natural parting to get rid of any knots and fold the wig in half from ear to ear parted in the centre. If there's no parting, place a small piece of tissue at the wig crown.

To keep your wig perfectly styled, place a hairnet over your wig for minimum effort when you next get it out.

After that, place the wig into either the original packaging or one of the other storage methods we recommended and voila! Your wig is ready to be stored.

DON'T:

Store a damp wig
