Hey guys, I'm Amelia from the customer experience team here at Adore. And I'm just chilling here with all of my children.. I know that there are a lot and I am a spring chicken at 26, but here they are. As per these lovely little products in front of me today we are gon na be having a chat about Kerastase.. All of your questions are about to be answered.. Let'S get into it., I guess Kerastase can be a little bit confusing and really overwhelming for someone who's just kind of stepping in and they're like ``. I just want shampoo.'', Nothing says: `` shampoo'' ,'', please explain.''! It is a French brand.. There are a lot of French words in there., I'm probably going to butcher them, but we're gon na break down what the words mean, where you use them, how to use them and how to choose the perfect one for you. Kerastase ranges from about $ 38 to At its highest is about $ 70.. The reason why it is so expensive is you're getting the top of the top ingredients with formulas that are made by top scientists by trichologists by dermatologists in a packaging that is not just beautiful. That looks aesthetically pleasing, but it's also super comprehensive and super concentrated.. If you follow a simple principle of looking at their colour ranges. They'Re all in families and those families are how you can kind of differentiate, are how you can ( mutters ), And those different colours are how you can tell the difference between each product.. So that's kind of the easiest way that if you're still getting a little bit confused with the names you can kind of go by colour.. You absolutely do not have to take French lessons.. So bain is your shampoo.. It is your first step., So your fondant is your conditioner. Pretty self-explanatory, but the cremes are obviously a cream-based product. And then moving onto the thermiques are the heat protectants.. So in front of me, I've got all of the bains.. The conditioners look like this little fellow.. So the fondants., So they are the concentrated and higher strength treatments which we will talk about a little bit later.. They also go into heat lotions, sprays, mousses.. Let'S have a bit of a chat about the families. We've kind of got one of each here.. So we'll kick it off with our Blonde Absolu range.. So this is one of the new ranges from Kerastase.. It is incredible for anyone with lightened or blonde hair, and especially incredible for those who want to use a toning shampoo, but don't wan na damage their hair and still want that utmost. Protection.. They also have an incredible shampoo, it's Blond Lumiere, which is incredible for anyone who just wants a bit of a glow., So pretty much. Your Bain Ultra-Violet is your purple toning shampoo.. It'S one of the only toning shampoos in Kerastase's range as well., So kicking it down and we've got Bain Densite.. So this is your Densifique.. So it's pretty much your bodifying shampoo., Those customers who come to me and they're like ,'' Amelia. I can't get volume in my hair ,'', my hair's super weighted ,''. I just want my hair to have a nice little bit of oomph.''. Every other shampoo weighs my hair down.''. This is going to be your best best friend., The conditioner, as well as the mask, are one of the only ones in the entire range that can actually go on the scalp without causing any of the hair to kind of feel, really limp and feel really weighed. Down., So moving on to Bain Discipline., So the Discipline family as per its name, it is our curly girls' best friend.. There is also a sulfate-free version as well. If you're a curly hair friend, who prefers to straighten their hair, there's a leave-in protectant that will help to kind of smooth it down, really focus on that frizz on hydrating, the hair. And then there's also a leave-in that Helps to boost up your curls., So if you don't really have curly hair per se, but you're still someone who's wanting to help control and discipline that frizz and help with hydration, then the Discipline family is going to be the range for you as well.. So the Nutritive family is the second largest range.. It actually has three shampoos in it.. So if you're someone with finer hair, but you need that extra hydration, I would start with a Bain Satin 1.. If you're someone with kind of medium to average kind of thickness, then you would go Bain Satin 2., If you're someone who -- you're like `` Give me a river ,''. Magistral is gon na, be your best friend.. So the Resistance range is for anyone who has damaged hair like myself. If you've just started your blonde journey. If you're trying to finish your blonde journey, if you've had a hair disaster, like myself feel free to watch me explain that journey, because that was a fun one.. Our video will be -- ( siren wailing ) In the Resistance family, similar to the Nutritive family. It'S broken up inside that family into three different parts., So you would start with your Bain Force, Architecte or Bain Force Architecte, which is your kind of level one to two damage. And then spruce up to level two to three, which you would use the Bain Extentioniste And then, if you have SOS ( sirens wailing )'', My hair is breaking.'', Someone come save me ,'' kind of vibe you're looking at damages level three to four and that's where you would go to therapist.. This is that new one.. So the newest edition in the Kerastase family is the Genesis family.. It is the new anti-hair fall range.. I'Ve actually been sneakily using this one for probably the last two weeks. And she's incredible.. I hate to say it. I hate to be back on it.. I love trying other new products and I try and get away from Kerastase, but she pulls me back in.. The Genesis range has a shampoo, a conditioner and a scalp leave-in. Which, by the way, the colours of this and the scent oh beautiful, I'm in love., The main purpose of the Genesis range is to help stop. Hair fall versus the Densifique is more about feeling. Like your hair is fuller. One of my faves okay., Now that I've mentioned the scent on this one, I do have to touch on all of the other scents.. What happens with Kerastase? It is an aromatic experience.. Most of them follow almost a floral kind of scent.. There are the odd occasion like Densifique, it's more of like a musk almost.. France is known for its perfumes., It's known for their scents. And Kerastase definitely fall back on that.. The Chronologiste range is the Creme de la Creme.. You are getting a little bit of technology and a little bit of all of the best parts of all of the range in one product. Chronologiste is that little bit more expensive. So you are treating yourself. If you're, someone who doesn't just have one main hair concern. If, overall, your hair is pretty good, but you want a little bit of this. You want a little bit of that. That'S where you're gon na go to the top of the top and you're gon na go to the bougie of the bougie, and you are going to say'' hello'' to Chronologiste.. Chronologiste is also one of the ranges where it is incredible for mature hair. Part of the ingredients, and I believe I could be saying it wrong. It'S abyssine. Part of the ingredient is actually found in thousands of feet underneath the water. They bring it up.. It'S a full thing. And that's why this one costs a little bit more expensive as well.. So the Reflection range is for anyone with coloured hair., Be it brown red gold black. However, you wan na colour, your hair. Reflection, is going to have your back. Reflection. Is incredible at providing shine, smells great, looks cute very nice., [ Man ] Attention, attention. Testing of the fire alarm system is now complete.. Thank you.. Now, please, leave. Most important with the Reflection range is that it is of course color-safe.. It is main job is to look after your fresh colour is to look after your colour until you get back into the salon.. The Specifique family are all about your scalp health.. This one in particular, Bain Divalent, is incredible for anyone with an oilier scalp.. Anyone who comes to me and goes ,'', I have to wash my hair every day.'', So the other three in the range are Bain Anti-Pelliculaire, which is incredible for anyone who struggles with dandruff., Even if you're, just going through a dandruff phase, you've got your Densifique for Your ,'', I just want my hair to feel a little bit. Fuller.'' You've got your Genesis for ``, Oh okay.'', My hair is kind of starting to fall out ,'' and then you've got Bain Prevention for those who are like ``. Oh no, my hair is falling. Out.'' And then the last one in the Specifique range, the Dermo-Calm range, which is great for anyone with a sensitised, scalp., Sometimes you'll, find that say. If you get a colour, your scalp feels a little bit red a little bit irritated.. It just helps to soothe the scalp., So I always recommend Bain Dermo-Calm for anyone with a sensitised scalp.. So when you think Specifique think specific scalp concerns., The Soleil range is only available during the summer seasons., If you're a swimmer. If you're someone who runs if you're someone who's in the outdoors a lot, it's got UV protection and it guys it's actually gon na help to prevent from any damage that the sun may cause your hair. To go on from the Specifique range. It also includes the Initialiste serum., It's kind of like fertiliser, for the scalp.. It just helps to provide the best environment for your head.. So if you're someone who finds that you really struggle with getting hair growth or if you really struggle to kind of have the best version that your hair can be this one's a really great additive., It's kind of just like a supplement., So the Elixir Ultime. This range is all about shine.. It'S an oil-based range and they're looking to help get the shiniest version of your hair possible., The Elixir Ultime oil is actually one of my all-time favourites.. You can add it into your lotions. You can use it as a heat protectant. You can put it in wet, you can put it in dry., Not only that, but it lasts forever and a day.. You only need quite literally ..., That's probably almost too much.. It was just about half a pump. And you can just give it a bit of a zhuzh.. Look. I'M gon na be honest, guys.. I may have doused my hair in this one before the video., It's just so good. And I always find during the day if my ends need a little bit of a top up or if I just really need that scent. If I need a bit of a pick-me-up I'll, just apply a little bit and go on with my day.. So there are intense scalp treatments in a couple of each different ranges.. They will all have their family name and then end in cures., So they're little ampules. That you'll apply to the scalp., There's ones that are in six weeks. There'S ones are in 12 weeks and there's even ones that are up to six-months long.. They are a bit more of a commitment.. You are looking at a couple hundred dollars per box.. I hope that the Kerastase families are now a little bit more clear.. So if you have any further questions about any of the Kerastase families, please feel free to leave a comment. And, as usual, guys have a smashing day.. I'M just gon na go with my children. Hi. By the way guys if you wan na, see any further content from us. Please have a click through here and surely that will help you out. See you

Susan: I really like how you lined up all the products and then described each perfectly. Great job!

Alex Smith: I don’t usually comment on videos but THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED… been looking everywhere for information on each range and nobody had the details that you gave! Thank you VERY much! New sub xx

Enuumify: I'm so glad I came across this video! I've been using Kerastase for over a year now and never fully understood what each product does and how certain types of ranges have different divisions.... so insightful!

Leona Dior: Absolutely outstanding description of each product! Thank you so much! Now I know exactly which shampoo I should use for my hairs, thanks to you ! A very week done, and please keep up your good work !

Charlotte Breton: My hair stylist recommend this brand and I've been using it ever since. I'm trying to get my hair healthy after over bleaching and this has been the only brand that makes my hair not feel like straw

Melissa Claasen: Thank you for the comprehensive video while keeping it short and easy to understand. I'm stepping into Kerastase territory for the first time, and ordered from 2 different places here in Germany to get what I think would be best for me (bain satin 1 and the fondant, and the colour shampoo - called Chroma Absolu now). You helped me navigate which items to choose. Thank you so much

PLai ML: May I just say you are AMAZING at explaining this!!! You have made me understood this better than the store reps I’ve talked to. I am just concerned if the specifique anti dandruff shampoo has sodium laureth sufate in it and if there is a sulfate free version? Thanks

Christina S: THIS IS EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGG i am well versed in marketing/beauty but wow could not for the life of me wrap my head around this brand LOL

Rhea Vesta: You have illustrated the different product families very well. My question about this is: If my hair needs color protection (Chroma Absolu) and strengthening (Resistance), can I change families every time I wash my hair or every 2 weeks or would that be counterproductive? How long at a time should I use a series so that it shows its effect?

Kalisha Miller: Amazing review, It really helped me decide on the best products for my hair! Thank you so much :)

Julia J: No shade to the company, and you explain each one BETTER than they do on their website

Aendy Wunder: Hey, i am really struggling with the decision on which series i should get. I have long, curly and dry hair. When they grow longer the ends always end up getting spliss. I also lost a lot of thickness probably because i straighten them once a week. What do you recommend? Would appreciate any advice so much greetings from Germany

Cheryl Elin Smith: They have new version of color care Kerastase Croma Absolu. I have the one for medium to thick hair, and the matching conditioner for fine to medium hair. I really like it.

Daniella: Amazing video. Problem is I have keratin treated, highlighted hair, that’s oily at the roots and can get a little dry at the ends. Also , thick. I don’t know where to start!

Ms. Kunterbunt: Thank you so much for this video!!! I always bought shampoo and conditioner for what I WANT from my hair, instead of for what my hair NEEDS! Now I know, I don't need density shampoo but discipline hair care :-D THANK YOU

Sue Foster: Fantastic video, still confused I have bleached platinum blonde hair it's very thin greasy roots and dry ends. Hair fall is also a problem for me as well as it being dull. Purple shampoo tend to stain my hair help which one would you advise xx

Sara Zigova: Thank you so much i was always considering to buy it but never knew which one and now i know since it was explained ❤️

C Foster: I wish you talked about Oleo Relax but I'm glad you said the difference between the the Resistance ranges.

TenMillie: Millie is the BEST. Kerastase is so confusing and this has been fantastic.

Miss R: I always just go for the blue range because I am blonde. And the purple range of course. Maybe one day, one day, I will try something different...

Kristian Hristov: I think I have a problem. My scalp and my hair itself is an idea more oily than usual. Because I'm a teenager, right now it's normal to have a greasy scalp, etc. I wash my hair every day, but I also want to have volume. Which Kerastase shampoo should I use?

Precious Camacho: Hi , great video!! But I have a question. I have an oily scalp but my hair is color treated. What do you think I should use? Regardless if it’s Karaste brand or not

Freedom Life: Can you ask Millie to break down to us the Kerastase scalp treatments?

b e a: Coloca legenda em português ❤❤

Sarah Gonzalez: Yaaaaaaay another Ozzy like me You go Girl can you use 2 at once like the green and the purple also for those who have done keratin treatment ??? Also do you sell online??

Marie C: This is exactly what I needed thank you so much I can make a much more informed decision now

Hannah James: This was super helpful, thank you x

A: My hair is curly/wavy and dry. I wash and style my hair once a week. I don’t want sls in my shampoo but find that products for curly hair don’t give me that fresh cleaned hair even tho I use clarifying shampoo time to time. I have one kerastase product the Elixir Ultimate L'Huile Rose and I looove it. That oil is the reason I want to buy kerastse. I’ve used olaplex for a long time and it didn’t do that much. I’m stuck between choosing kerestase or purelogy. And if I choose kerastase should I pick the curly one or the nutrivite one?

allegri9cl: Excellent description, ty. But the elixir oil can we use that for heat protection or before straightening? My hair stylist told me not to use serum as such or oily thing as it will fry hair

agy k.: Can somebody tell me if the purple shampoo also works well for naturally blonde hair? Or is it mostly for colored hair?

FEjane: I know this was posted a year ago but fuck that was so helpful. I’ve never had someone explain their ranger like you did and it helped me understand and how to pick the right range for me! Super helpful thank you!

Brasamber: Its sooo hard too choose.... i want densifique but also genesis. What do you recommend the most? My hair is extremely thin and i also dont have much hair. There is no volume in it but when i brush it, I also have quite some hairloss\breakage. Besides that, my hair is oily on day 2. My hair is still healthy, not dry, or broken, so i dont think I need a shampoo especially for damaged hair. Please send some help to this girll ❤️ ty so much xx Amber

Cam tu Dinh: Did you try chronologiste and elixir oil? Plz compare them and which one is better? Thanks a lot

Lamia H.: I have a question. My hair is falling out ALOT but I don't know if I should get the GENESIS shampoo or SPECIFIQUE shampoo for hair loss... I'm so confuseddd what's the difference between the 2?

Carmen Napolitano: Nice video is densifique shampoo with silicones? Cause id like to try it (i have fine straight hair), but when i use shampoo with silicones i dont like my hair :(

Nadia: Could you PLEASE help me figure out what to get for my mom for Christmas? She has a dry scalp, dry hair and lack of volume. I thought maybe the Chronologist range but I’m not sure. What line from Kerastase would you recommend??

Y Z: Help! I have damaged hair and am looking to try the therapist line but I really need the blonde absolu line as well. What do you recommend?

Elaine Henderson: Love your video about Kerastase products, question I need to ask my hair is fine, coloured and mature, short time which would be best looking to grow it a bit long need help

tree girl: Wow Making me hungry .Sounds like you are describing desserts! Great description thank you

Cassidy: What is the reason for the shampoos to have sulphates? Specifically the “Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo” & the “Bain Divalent Balancing Shampoo.” I can’t decide which product is best for my hair situation? I have very fine hair, my roots get oily but my ends are dry and I also have a lot of fall out. What would you suggest?

Ava Manuella: Which is best for fine natural hair ?

D H: Is it ok to mix products from different lines? For example my hair if naturally blonde, fine/thinning out at the ends, wavy and gets frizzy very easily as well as struggling in damp or humid weather. It seems to look more damaged recently I think because I’m not finding the right products for my needs. Could I for example… use densifique shampoo to help thicken my hair to feel less thin/fine and then use resistance conditioner to help strengthen and repair, followed by discipline thermique to protect it from blow drying and help it to behave and be less frizzy / reacting to humidity? Is that possible? Can I mix them like that? Please help meee tia!!
