Is Natural Hair Cursed? Natural Hair Growth

Hello, everyone, my name, is charity and welcome to my YouTube channel. If you are new here, I want to say hello and if you are old, I just want to say thank you so much for clicking on this video and thank you all for your support. So in this video I wanted to talk about a comment that I actually received a few years ago on one of my videos - and I was just recently reminded of it, and I just thought it might be a good idea to do a video on it. In summary, the person was basically saying that natural hair is cursed and that I, in particular, should not spend time on my hair. Basically, I just wanted to just share inspiration from scripture with you all regarding that, and I really hope that that helps to perhaps clarify some misconceptions and just bring Clarity to the whole thing. Perhaps if you've heard that before or if you're just wondering, if you're a Bible reader, if you're a Believer, if you are a born-again Christian and you read the Bible frequently, you are most likely familiar with the curse which is found in Genesis. Chapter 3. So we have Adam and Eve, and God gives them a specific instruction and you've disobeyed it. Her husband, disobeyed it as well, and they basically found themselves in the situation of Disobedience to God's instructions, and so he pronounces a curse. Now that curse is specifically found in Genesis: chapter 3, if you read from verse 14 and you might want to read the whole chapter just for a broader context, so I have to go back and just read that passage and just ask the Holy Spirit to just Give me understanding - and I read that passage what I realized was that the curse that God pronounced was not toward Adam and Eve like he did not curse them as human beings and as creatures of his we know. If you read back in chapter 1 and chapter 2, that God created everything in the world and he created the man and created the woman from the rib of the man, Adam and Eve are God's creation. He created these people, and so when you read the verses that that where the pronouncement of the curse is made, God never curses these two people as individuals. What he does is that he curses the way that they will function in the world, so, for example, for the serpent, he curses the way that the serpent relates with other animals and basically just navigates through life, that the serpent will you know, will crawl on his Belly and that's why you see like snakes like walking on their belly um snakes, don't have any hands or feet um and then also for the woman, the two two specific things that it highlights: um regarding the role of a woman in the world, um number one Is that she gets married and number two, she brings fourth children, so God tells the woman that she is going to have increased pain when she brings for children in the world um. And so that's why, as women we get pregnant and then during the delivery process, you know we go through those labor pains and then also for the woman. He tells her that she, her husband, will rule over her, so her husband would be um her head um. Her leader in the marital relationship and in the marital structure, and that's why you have in like even in the New Testament where the scripture is talking about women, should submit to her husband and that the husband is the head. Then for the man he talks about how um the way that the man works right. So the role of the man is that he works and if you remember back um in chapter two, I believe um when God created Adam, he put Adam in the garden and he told him to tend to the Garden so to work right. So the man, the primary role of the man, is to work, and God tells the man that he is going to basically just suffer, to bring forth, suffer to put food on a table and he's going to be sweating like and that's why work nowadays is hard Because um like, for example, when I go to work like sometimes I sweat, you know, because of just the labor of work, um and so prior to all of the curse and all of the pronouncements. These two people lived in such beautiful harmony with God. They had a beautiful Fellowship, they didn't have to struggle the peaceful relationship that they had with God. The Bible talks about how, in the cool of the day like God, would come and just like fellowship with them, and it was so beautiful. But now after the Disobedience and that's what sin does is that it makes us to lose that beautiful fellowship with God, and so as a result of that sin, and now they are separated from God, and then God drove them out of his presence, this beautiful Eden, Where he had placed them Adam and Eve were both creatures of God, okay, and so are we. We are all creatures of God and he made us he's. He fashioned us. He created us with his hands and he has not cursed us as human beings. He hasn't pronounced any curse upon our lives and, of course, part of us is our hair as women and our hair is God's creation as well our hair, no matter how kinky we think it is or how rough we think it is or how ugly we may Think it is the truth of the matter, is that God fashioned and he created our hair and he did it intentionally, and it is our responsibility to love this hair to appreciate this hair. And it is our responsibility to learn how to take care of this hair, and that is going to require knowledge. You know the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge. Knowledge is very important. That is why this channel exists. That is why I share all that. I share here the knowledge that I share here, because I know that by the application of that knowledge, it results are produced, and it has happened in my life and it's happened in other people's lives. There are many people who will leave comments under my videos and say: oh I use this tip that you shared, or I do this - that you shared and it's working for me, and so you need to commit to learning how to take care of your hair. Okay, God is not going to come down from heaven to take care of your hair for you, but he is going to help you in the process. He is going to connect you to the right resources, he's going to connect you to the right products so that you can have the knowledge, the body of knowledge, to be able to take care of this beautiful head of hair. That he's given unto you and I dare say that your hair is beautiful, so please don't ever think that your hair is cursed. Your hair is not cursed, you are not cursed and your hair is not cursed. Your hair is a beautiful creation of God, and the only thing that you need to do is to appreciate it and then learn how to take care of it. That learning is going to require time is going to require patient. It'S going to require your own willingness to learn, and I tell you that if you learn, if you commit to learning - and you apply that knowledge, your hair can never remain the same, your hair can only flourish and your hair can only retain its length and it Can only be beautiful the way that God has originally created it, and so I really hope that this video inspires you in some way and just know that this channel is here for you it's here to help you.
