Answering a question submitted by Devin: Winter is coming, how/what should I start doing to my locs to ensure there able to maintain moisture/ hydration and for my scalp to not be dry for these winter months coming up?

So Devin wants to know how can we prepare our locks and our scalp for the winter? And it's a great question because, as you can see, the weather is changing it's time to get ready. Hydration treatments are essential. Make sure you shift your moisturizer, you don't want your oil to be too heavy, because you want your hair, your locks, your scalp, to still be able to receive moisture, and you also want to make sure you have need to protect your hair. That includes inside because everyone's about to start turning on the heat and while it feels nice and toasty, our hair is like. Oh no, it's too dry up in here hello.
