Guys I got a haircut. I do not remember the last time I got a haircut, but if you have it already, you need to be following on code. Tran on Instagram on is one of the co-owners of Ramirez trans lawn here in LA he's known for getting people really. Sexy lived in haircuts have a bunch of of movement, and we noticed that the shag was kind of popping up everywhere. It took a really popular hair seller. Right now, obviously was big in the seventies, it was big in the 90s. Now it's been modernized, so we're going to outline who the shag is good, for. Why is the versatile, and maybe who should stay away from the cut her face? Shape has a lot to do with the way I cut the hair, because I want to emphasize her cheekbones, because her face is longer. I saw some breakage in the back and decides a little bit and that's normal because you know you bleach the hair and that's happened. So I basically just married the layers into the breakage, so it looks more intentional. What'S the difference between her shag and the normal shag? Is that I layer a lot more because she has a lot more hair towards the front so for rock beanie, I gave her a stronger bangs. I made him stronger because she was short of forehead and it brings out her cheekbone. She has fine and thinner hair, so the shag is really good for it, because it adds a lot of body a lot of loop into it, plus they care. The shag is really grateful because it allows a lot of movement into the bottom part of the hair as on Kirby, the whole 90s and the 70s are all coming back. So I really feel like it's a modern take on what it was before. So in that way, it's more versatile and it's easier for people to style. So the reason why I blew her hair straight before I cut because she wears it straight most of times, so I want her to see it and be comfortable with it and then, when she see the hair being curly, she can be like. Oh, this is something new that I can add on my plate. With this, I want her to embrace her curled. The key in cutting curly hair with this technique. Is that don't over texturize the hair and don't overlay the hair so when it does shrink and it does get curly so just have a little more balance all over? For those of you have really really curly hand, you wear curly all the time. Don'T do it? Definitely not haircut for you all right guys. So what do you think of my haircut? This is making me feel good and honestly growing up. I wanted to be a rock star, so I feel, like I have a little bit of that edgy cool vibe now, even though I'm so cheesy and you guys know it. Let me know in the comment section below what you think of our haircuts. If you like, the wavy texturized shag, if you like the long shag, the edgy shag, the sexy snags, I mean you believe he who's like Kirby, has the sexy shag. As always, you can find me on Instagram and Twitter at Kirby Johnson, on snapchat at Kirby Johnson. Then, on Facebook, at Kirby Johnson TV, all those links are below one of these days. I'Ll get my life in order and they will all view the same potential. Then sleep and always subscribe.

Kathleen Kulow: I love the shag, but I didn't like any of these, at least not with their faces. And the stylist said if you have curly hair, don't get a shag haircut. I disagree completely. I think the shag hairstyle looks better with some waves and curls.

Kristen Leanne: Ah it looks so good!!

akiljanas: literally everyones hair in this video is fried to death

ANN YEATES: I love the shag cuts. Got one yesterday and Icouldn't be happier with it. Very easy to take care of.

blahblahblah: I think it added some interest, I loved all of their afters! Makes me want to try it!

Jennifer Beissler: I think they look great but wouldn’t put them in the category of a shag I just say these are layered haircuts with an angle and bangs. The shag is a very distinctive difference with the layers almost being the same length as the bangs

Lisa Young: LOVE The Sexy Shag!!! I've Been Rocking It For A Year Now And It's So Fun And Easy To Manage :0) He Did A Great Job On The Other Ladies Too, Wonderful Inspiring Video

Jaime Brooke30: I love the hairstyle and love your shag. :) I am now thinking about getting this haircut in the future.

Tania Sudduth: Loved all of the haircuts but everyone needed a bit of antifrizz serum or something especially the last girl, her hair looked sooo dry! Also might have just been the lighting.

Predatoraw: Love the last woman's eyes! So cool

Blue Victory: 1:06 Edgy Shag is my favorite, he did an excellent job on that cut!

LaMonalisa: That last girl, i dont think her hair is like that due to it being damaged, i believe thats actually a hair type. Kind of like my own, neither straight curly or wavy, its just frizzy looking like its hecka damaged even though haven't done much processing or heat to it

Cassie Ann M.: Y’all it’s hair. It grows back lol. Plus it’s good to try fashion risks!!

Jordan Eby: I love this!

Courtney Boulds: Gosh darn I would love to have a shag haircut, but I have super curly hair which I most always wear curly. But I don’t think it would work for me and my square jawline.

c joanna: Didn’t think his blanket statement at the end that curly hair shouldn’t get a shag is true. I’ve seen many gorgeous pics of curly shags. I’m sure as with everyone it depends on your face shape as to how to cut and style. Also, wasn’t a fan of how the cuts came out in this video.

Marian Kitagawa: I think you need more height at the crown. this haircut accentuates your very square jaw line and makes your neck look thick so if you had height at the crown it would look so much better In my opinion

Rhonda Renfro: I have a natural wave in my hair, not actually curly. I usually straighten it with a flat iron. I recently got a shag cut (shoulder length) but my stylist put lots of product in it and it was super curly. I really want a relaxed look. Do I just need to use a small amount of product and dry with a diffuser? Would a dryer set on low heat work as well? Do I scrunch my hair while drying? Help!

Linda Sue: I love shag cuts, but when I've had them they do just look messy… and not in the good way. I don't mind that for wearing around the house, but it makes me hesitant to go outdoors, and definitely not fir work. I'm not really sure how some people seem to pull it off… Or if there something I should be able to do to make it look less messy.

Victoria: The shag? Here in England that means something else. Never heard this phrase for hair before

E Quinn: If you have curly hair, dont do it But that’s y im hereeeeeeee i want a long rezocut or something similar, the bigger the hair the better

Lanita X: it's so sad that every one girl have such a bad hair conition

E F: anyone know of any salons in the uk that are good at the shag?

a anon: i love the shag too. but the pinks hair looks like straw. & that looks cheap. she needs a good stay in conditioner & a good thermal vented round brush w/a blow dry. & then it would look classy & still edgy.

E F: The second girls haircut made her look like she was going through a rough patch

aew42g5: LOVE YOU ANH CO TRAN!!! <3

a a: THE REFERENCE PICTUREA OMG im more into the tiktok shag tbf

aaronimpactnz: You look fabulous Kirbie

Cosmetic Habit: *зачем вы оставили волосы от чёлки им прямо внутри глаз. у их могут быть проблемы со зрением - нельзя оставить чёлку которая заканчивается на уровне нижнего века!!!* *позор*

ellie: Any immature British person reading the title...

Mai: Yes kirbie!!!

muskndusk: These are really bad versions of the shag, and not cut traditionally. No wonder they look awful.

wickedspell85: The last girl eyes!!!!

Ana Parada: GREETINGS TO THE GREAT STATE OF ARKANSAS LIKE THE FIRST CHECK THE BEST OF PINK HAIRED WOMAN ORIENTAL LADY ALL THESE ARE THEY HAIRCUTS DO NOT LOOK LIKE SHAGS TO ME A WHOLE LOT THEY LOOK MORE LIKE JUST A LAYERED BOB OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT VERY DISAPPOINTED YOU SHOULD SEE MATT BECK THE SALON GUY HE DOES A SHAG LIKE NOBODY ELSE CAN

Jenny Hallett: So basically all the same stuff you can do with petroleum jelly aka Vaseline but more expensive

Turtleneck: why do they blink so weirdly?

Mer Boy: Some of these haircuts look like grown versions of 2000s short layered cuts... Gosh so awful!!!!

J S: They don’t look that healthy and better

Moi S: Hey, what happened to who should stay away from this cut!? Didn't see that.

Ana Parada: PIECE OF THE GREAT STATE OF ARKANSAS I GREW UP IN THE 70S AND 80S MEN NEED TO WEAR MORE OF A SURFER HAIRCUT AND SHAG AND GET SOME SIDEBURNS GORGEOUS LOOK FOR MOST MEN AND LONGER HAIR MEN NOWADAYS LOOK LIKE DORK DOUBLE BUNKS THEY CUT THEIR HAIR WAY TOO SHORT OF LOOKS NASTY IN PRISON HE WAS LIKE A PRISON HAIRCUT MAKES HIM LOOK SEVERE

Butterfly 333: What's the difference between shaggy, bob and lob?

Vevian Vozmediano: liked all the girls hair much better before the cut

R D: these cuts look awful!!

Fay Coleman: This was not the cut for the pink haired lady or the blonde

Eden Garden: All that hair is soooo dead. And those bangs are sooo thin! He can not cut my hair for free. No thanks

Yahuahs child: such an ugly haircut.

Gayle Cheung: Sorry boring shag

B C: They all look horrible for their face shape

B Minnis: These or horrible cuts. They look so jagged and unkempt. The layers are just horrible. There is no balance to the crown...AT ALL. I would kick my hair dressers ass if they chopped my hair up like this.
