Jay Torres Real: Im the barber featured in the video. I just wanted to say that there is no difference if this was a man or woman. The only difference on this cut on a man or woman are small key features like the outline and how high i take the back. On a woman my blending is more soft and round, on a male my blending is square. I use the same teqchniques on a man as i would on a girl.

My hair is up to my neck, maybe a bit more and I been wanting to go cut it but all the videos I can find are like middle aged women hair cuts, just too girly or overly masculine. I love this cut!

Jess B: Hey Cam. I have followed you for a while now, but this video really made me see you in a different light. I am not sure if you really know just how great and impactful this video really is. I know there are a lot of gender-non-conforming females out here that follow different male fashion channels on youtube in order to get fashion inspiration outside of what they see in the mainstream that has really limiting gender boundaries. What you did with this video was so progressive because it gave visibility to that group of people who are here and all over and exist. And every time a minority group gets visibility, there is one more insecure person out there who is afraid to be themselves and afraid of being judged that feels slightly safer to be who they are; Maybe one girl who whats to but is afraid to rock a disconnected undercut, or one guy who wants to buy an oversized t-shirt from the woman's section at H&M. I am sure a lot of the "haters" on here that dislike this video have a difficult time seeing the fluidity of gender in fashion most likely because they have not been exposed and have traditional ideas of what is "male" fashion and what is "female" fashion. But anyway, THANK YOU for making this video. I hope there are more like this to come!
