Hi guy, i'v had made a short video on how to cut your own military style hair cut after 2 requests. I hope this can help out anyone that is interested in doing this style of hair cut on themselves. If you are new to seeing me for the first time then I would like to state that I am not a barber but I do cut my own hair. Hello guys what is up its irony with another self Barbour video in this video, I'm going to be attempting my first military home type style, recon haircut. I'Ve had two requests for this one from randomly 98 and the other from Dan Krrish. 3. 4. 5. Folks. Thank you for that lad, so I do a little bit of research into this and just watch a few YouTube videos. Now, from what I can gather, two types of military haircut, one is higher than the high bald fade but yeah around here and there's a big distinguish difference between the top and the bottom. So it's not quite faded and the usual haircuts. It'S a bit more extreme! You know not as faint as as usual haircuts I do and the one I'm going to be attempting to recon one which is higher up it's more extreme. So, let's get into this, if you've been watching my previous self bubble, video you should know. I usually start with two two and a half, so why change I start off on the top of my head, as I usually would making sure I cut every hair evenly once that's done. I mark a line just above my sideburn and then take off all the hair with a grade 0 up until two fingers below where my hairline start. Something is high enough. I think I mean compute the ire, so here I take the edge of the grade zero, with the teeth, closed and lightly press to make another line, and then I shave out all the hair below that line. Last of always just a case of putting a tiny bit of blending starting off with a one and a half, just as it lines a little less harsh, then switching to the number, two God and working on just a little bit above that line just to give It around the look when you're facing me from the front switching back to the number one Clipper guard with clothes teeth and pressing lightly, while shaving with the grain. Just to give it that final, rounded, look the Lord, I told you badly late on it. Don'T matter be here at 8, o clock top down and give me two hundred boy. Do you understand suavo, sir? Yes, sir? Well, guy, that's it take a look. So I hope this helps all my brothers out there who opts for the militant style haircut. If you think this is too high or too low, I guess you can decide that. As I said before, it's up to you there's I've seen so many variations. I did it the one I've opted for. So it was a little bit easier to do not as much fade. Hawaiian Punch: I always zero to the top of my ear, then 1/2 to my crown and I fade the zero to the 1/2. I trim the top with a flat top comb and I fade the 1/2 to my top. Easiest cut to do. Haircuts around my house is $15-$25 plus tip. It's better to invest into a clipper kit, it's pays itself back in the long run.

chaotic/Silence: there is high and tight, there is 0 to 3, there is high regulation and Low regulation. Usually Infantry tends to stick to high and tights, administrative jobs usually stick to low regulation. Generally high and tights are 3.5 inches across the top of the head, just shy of a Mohawk that is a real military high and tight.

I think maybe try going shorter on top - a number 1. Then take the number 0 a couple of inches higher on the back and sides. Also razor shave the sides and back up to the number 1 on top. Nomad bound: That is an AMAZING high fade, but not a regular high and tight. Great haircut just not a high and tight. First. The difference between a high and tight and a recon high and tight is the amount of hair left on top of the head. A recon haircut is disconnected higher on the head than a regular high and tight, which means that a recon haircut leaves less visible hair on the top of the head. the difference is usually one inch or more towards the center of the scalp. Second. Why that is not high and tight. With a regular high and tight haircut aka a 'high and tight' the disconnecting line (dividing line) between the hair on the top and the tightly clipped sides and back is at the ends of your forehead (where yours is now). There can be some fading at the disconnected line but not too much. If you cannot see a definite disconnected line, then it's not a high and tight haircut! It's a high fade.

Russell Bogrett: If you wanted a recon you still needed to go higher. A recon is a plain oval on the very top of your head. Military regs staye that no hair can show beneath you cover so you did fine. Im a barber who has been cutting hair for 40 years and i can say you did good. I would let you give me a haircut anytime.
