Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful you look ravishing in this fine lovely evening, vice elation. Thank you for being here. I hope you enjoy your time here and welcome to another installment of hairdresser reacts, I'm your host, Brad mondo. So, as you may know or may not know, I did make a video a couple weeks ago, called hairdressers guide to cutting your own hair and not ruining it more of you followed it that I thought you were going to, and there are so many videos of People trying my at-home hair cut technique. I was thrilled, listen. I tried really hard to make a very simple haircutting guide for you to follow at home and apparently a lot of you really loved it well, pat on my back right there. Well, I'm glad it all. Has turned out pretty well from all the videos and tweets and Instagram stories. I'Ve seen you guys have had a really good time following my tutorials, and so many of you haven't chosen to record yourself as you do this at home haircut process following my tutorial, and thank you for that today I will be watching some of your videos on You following my tutorial: I'm really excited about this, also a little little. Hopefully it turns out good and you know we get a good outcome and I don't want to like trash on anybody today and it's all just like fun and like whatever and like we all have a good time like nobody gets their feelings hurt. But like you, don't always honest with you, so let's watch some girls follow this Brad mondo guy's hair cutting tutorial on their own hair to give themselves a makeover. Let'S do it up. First, we have cheetah lists and this is called cutting. My hair short following Brad mondo hair cut, guide, hi, guys hi, oh wow, your hairs, long, okay, going to cut my hair, I'm a little bit scared, but I'm excited right off the bat. I am petrified only because she has beautiful hair. It is very thick. This might be a little complicated for her and it is very long, I'm curious to see how short she's about to go. I'Ve been working these or maybe three years, this long, okay and I'm bored three years, she's had it this long. This is a big change. More than what I usually go for and a few days ago, I saw that Brad mondo uploaded a video with a guide of how you could cut your own hair at home. So I already watched the video and he uses a completely different technique as the one day.you who inspired me and pushed me. So finally, this side took up my hair shorter than what I usually do so excited yeah I've already brushed and straighten my hair. I would have liked your hair to be a little bit straighter. It'S pretty good. I mean it's pretty straight, but not a huge thing. Okay, no! It'S really straight! Actually, it looks great okay. I take that back the middle guys. Now that I come back to this, I hope that I said part where you typically part your hair. I feel like I did say that, but I could have not said it and I'm so sorry, it's not that biggest deal in the world, but I would have parted on wherever you part, your hair, typically and you're gon na find where the apex is. That'S the high point of your head. Yes, that's it that's it! I am very satisfied with the work that's going on right now on this girl's head, look in the mirror and figure out where you want your hair to wear what it she's a lot of layering. So in the front she's gon na have a very little bit to cut and in the back it's gon na be a big chop. Let'S keep going put the tie in back here. You know bringing it forward: you're, not bringing to the side you're, just gon na lay it down your back. This is the hard part. Okay, when you don't have anybody there, helping you to get that to lay down your back straight, you have to like really maneuver it. You can always like lay down flat pull it forward, make sure nothing moves and put the elastic on yes. So now it's finally time to cut it, he's saying that I have to point cut like this: okay she's doing an amazingly fabulous job. I love how seriously she's taking this. I'M glad it's not a joke like I want you to take this seriously. I want you to do a good job. I don't want you to make some stupid mistakes because you feel like it was fun or do I don't know whatever makes you happy what I don't know, yes got it god. Oh, that looks exactly like how I didn't go back. I need to keep going okay, oh that's! So much beautiful, healthy hair see how much hair I have. I I'll see you I'm gon na cut it. Yes, you are straight first because I have a lot of hair and then I'm gon na do the point cut. Okay, it makes sense. Oh my god get it girl. Oh my god. That'S so bad! Oh, my gosh. Did it? Okay, I'm back! I'M sorry! I had to cut, it was not perfect, but I'm done so it's already cutted. Oh, this is the best part. She can see the elastics out. Oh my god, I'm so truth, Wow sure it's so short. It looks so perfect. It looks so de okay, but we are not done. I think that now he does a little bit of layering. So let's see what I'm leaving for my short hair. I think I can definitely fix it. Yes fix that. Please do sometimes is a little bit of a disconnection between each section. You can totally go in and connect that up. I had a little disconnection in the front as you'll see in my video and I just kind of clean that up a little bit. I have no idea how it looks from the back, but hopefully it looks all right. So first, I'm going to do these sections again guys. I know it feels like a lot of steps, but it's worth it. Okay, like this. Now I'm going to do this side and then I will do the other one. Okay, so now he's grabbing all the hair and pulling it yes she's doing incredible tangent. Do you tell okay, I'm gon na leave this one like this, because I want to make sure that I'm doing the same length on each side. Thank God, my hair is short now, because, with the long hair, these would have been impossible to do. I have seen some people. I have trouble with that whole lifting your hair up when they have really long hair, but I did say my videos that you don't need to put the elastic at the bottom of your hair. You can put it right here. It doesn't need to be high up. The point is just to get that section to stay when you bring it back down. The point is not to put the elastic where you're gon na cut it. My arms are exhausted, just watching. Oh, what have I done so I didn't separate this part, but I think we're good, because now that I'm pulling this one up, okay, it's fine! It'S fine! It'S short. She forgot to section out the underneath on one of the sides: totally: okay, that's just a little insurance. That way you don't cut into your length the layers. Look so good she's, looking like a queen she's, looking so good, the new look looks so good on her. So now he does face framing and to do so he just grabs a little bit of hair here there you see me kill her she's gon na she's gon na rock this framing layers here, but we are going to do them shorter. So it's definitely true that when you have it dry, it's much more easier to see what's happening then what's going on and what are you cutting? So I like that yeah to do a little bit of frame it up crawl, put a picture frame around that beautiful face start, probably here, but I'm going to do it little by little, just as he's doing it. Yes, yes, yes, I mean, I don't have the technique that he has, but I'm doing it the best that I can and you're doing a great job. I don't know if I want to go shorter, maybe a little bit, maybe just a little. This is what happens if you cut your own hair you're. Just like me, a little bit shorter, even a little shorter and then use any balls. Yes, I want to see it like curled or something so I love it, but I'm going to try to curl it and style it. Oh, my god, I'm super super super super happy with how Brad mundo. Thank you and look at my hair. It looks amazing, so I'm not gon na lie. The experience was a little bit stressful, a really long and beloved hair, but now I feel so refreshed I feel free. This is much more lighter than my really thick and long hair. Oh kita, my love. That was amazing. Thank you so much for making that video that was beyond well done. Let'S move on to the next person and see if they do as good as he did it all right. Next up we have sassafras, and this is following Brad Manos hairdressers guide. It'S cutting your own hair, not ruining it did it work cutting my own hair Casa, fries, we're already in a fight. Why are you wearing a black shirt with your dark hair? Nobody can see your hair. I want to be able to see those golden locks of yours. Hairdressers guides cutting your own hair without ruining it. The timing was absolutely perfect. I hope she puts us into more than two sections I did say in my video. If you have a lot of hair, please do more than four sections you're gon na need it. You can do six, you can do eight as many as you need to do, but four is probably too little for her. Yes, you rocked that sectioning somewhat symmetrical or whatever, and here we go it says to make sure your hair is super straight and then leave a lot of tension. If I don't, then it's gon na kind of lopsided. So there is my tension. I noticed with the first girl and this girl. They didn't quite listen to one thing I said, which was don't pull it to the front when you put the elastic in, don't pull it to the back, pull it to the shoulder and not towards the front. That'Ll help with making it out, even so we're gon na stop this right there, so that I don't cut more than that. Let'S cool that down, let's make that! How did this happen yeah? What is what is that, if you notice, let's get a let's get that screen job here, her hair was tucked behind her ear. That'S why that happened, no tucking, your hair behind your ears, okay, while you're doing this, is it good? Is it bad make it stop? Stop the video she must have been doing this for like four hours - oh god, this is such a disaster. I guess my viewfinder is going to be my lifesaver today. This is so painful for me, probably half a centimeter longer, so we're gon na keep quite she's. Gon na chop, her fingers off this is gon na end with a finger going missing. You know what oh oh, she got it. She did it. It'S good, we're fine they're, pretty similar, okay, we're good. Okay, I can kind of she keeps putting her hair behind her ears. Let'S go to this back last section real quick. You know what this is kind of fun, I'm enjoying this. Oh good, okay, try goes slower, no go fans wrong, he's a professional hairdresser. I am definitely not I'm pretty crafty, though, like I own a hot glue gun. Oh oh, you got this back in Lincoln Highschool. These scissors are kind of a struggle they look like. They are very opposite of sharp. That is not correct. That is not correct. I mean those scissors are awful. That'S your biggest problem right now. They are not cutting for Shh. They are not wanting to do the job. They are not the ones for the job. Just do it. I'M gon na stand up, so you guys can like see. What are we back to this? What what do we got going on? What is this contraption going on your head right now, yeah! That'S better! Yes! Thank you! That'S when you know the hair gods are real because they just answer my hair prayers. She put on a letter shirt. Thank you. Okay, it's a little bit too much hair to let down, as you guys have probably seen my sectioning skills are not very good. No sectioning is not your strong suit, but I'm glad you know that we can all identify our strengths and weaknesses and work on them right. Her point: cutting skills are so freaking cute, I'm totally. My back is a little bit longer than the rest of it. Even funnier than the first time - oh god, what ha what is happening committed? We are gon na cut, I'm so sorry Brad, it's okay, but not your intent. It wasn't anyone here. So if it does look bad as soon as we're done quarantine, I can go, get it trimmed and they can fix it up a little bit. Thank all right show us the finished result. So this is what we've got so far good. It looks good, it's not bad at all. It'S not perfect by any means. No, I'm gon na face back this way. I'M gon na use this mirror to look at the viewfinder to see where I am putting. No, no it's definitely not. The best haircut has ever gone, no I'll take it. Thank God. She has a lot of hair she's, so beautiful she tried her best. This is honestly kind of what I expected. When I went into this, I knew it wasn't going to look like. I had gone to a salon, but I was really hoping it wouldn't look like I butchered my hair. I don't think it's too bad, but thanks Brad you're welcome you're, not watching this. Yes, I am appreciate your expertise. Oh God, I love you guys so much. That was not the best. Did you try? Yes, I am satisfied and you look great and I don't think your hair looks bad at all. Keep doing you all right, I think it'd be so fun for you to cut your hair like up to here or something or color it highlight it. Hmm, maybe let's watch one where girl follow my at-home hair cut it up. Next we have Michelle geldan who I've tried following Brad mando's at-home haircutting tutorial, so I'm just like a few days ago. I see this video of Brad mondo on YouTube and he's teaching us how to cut our hair at home. I feel like that is super. Skew already cuz, my hair is short, I'm interested at how well this is going to work on her shorter hair. Shorter hair is a little a little bit more difficult needs a little more precision, but should be fine, so we're gon na go to the top of the head. Your later comb on there and you're gon na can she find her a abacus. That'S the high point of your head, the tallest part and I'm gon na - take the comb from that apex and go right behind her ear, all the way down right there. Good. That looks great. What'S that I had a fringe fringe, so this is not gon na get cut. Yes, that's totally fine take major to see how long these are. We love the precision, except, hopefully your previous haircut is even or else it's gon na still be uneven when you measure it beautiful, fabulous, gorgeous amazing, killing it stunning beautiful. How many things telling you before just five is amazing. Sounding beautiful this is great. South Africa is on lockdown, so I can't go awesome house, so these are the only scissors that I have. I can just hear bread going like if you was reviewing this you'd, be like oh girl, now, no Michelle. What are you doing? That'S not what I see. No you're doing fine. A lot of you guys are having trouble seeing the back when you're cutting it definitely look in the mirror and cut it on the side. You don't need to actually look a look at it. What you're doing it cut it away? It'S really nice, you guys, when you're cutting your hair like this. It'S super important, that everything is just perfect. If you want a perfect result, so you're pulling the hair down you're lining these up perfectly you're, getting maybe somebody to help you or yourself in your leggings down the back perfectly. The same height you're then not moving anything and cutting like that. Okay, cutting cutting! You! Don'T need to like pull it forward and line it up with the front. Don'T do that line it up perfectly before you start cutting and then after you plug the hair ties or rubber bands, you can then perfect it. Okay, it's okay to go in there and kind of like even it out what we're doing. First is kind of getting that base like sort of straight cut, going on or hopefully straight, but then you can even it out yourself alright! So it's not a big deal. If it doesn't quite perfect the first time, I'm so happy that she's evening, everything out it's starting to shape up and look a lot better. Okay, so you're just gon na take the comb and come down like this. No, just the back just see you feeling like really uneven one. He looks determined to layers. It looks brand. Tell us bread, she hates me. She hates me she's, never gon na watch my videos again, yeah, that's not good. Okay, so just gon na take all of those hairs, those few and then just drop them. You can do this nice, you killed it. This is the finished. Look. It looks great honestly. It'S not that bad! No, it could be much worse. Let'S not lie looks pretty good thanks Brad now I have shorter hair. I wish she did the layering portion. It would have looked really good with the layers and it would have helped clean up that kind of unevenness in the back. You look amazing Michelle. Okay, you did a great job, congratulate yourself. That was beautiful, not easy to do a short haircut like that Union nailed. It with the help of your boyfriend, great teamwork - 10 Anna 10. For me, you killed it and stop being so hard on yourself. Well, I'm glad I could help you guys get a little trim before going to see your hairdressers after this whole quarantine moment is over. If it ever ends, you guys actually all did a great job. I know it wasn't that easy, the easiest I could possibly make it well, it's still being better than pulling all your hair to the front and cutting it. How all the other tutorials on YouTube. Do it that's not a good idea that is all for today, guys don't forget to follow me on every other social media network cuz. We want to stay connected, I'm on tik-tok, I'm on Instagram on Twitter. Chaos: Oml, Brad fangirling over how well the first girl followed his tutorial is one of the most precious things I've ever seeeeen

DesecrationSmile2012: Me: literally licking dorito dust off of my hands... Brad: omg you’re so hot

Kiara Keeper: This is Basically Brad figuring out if he's a good teacher or not

_pxstellixx _: Ok so the first girl killed it, but the second girl literally murdered it. Not in a good way Omfg! Thanks for all the likes I have never had so many!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

vanpa: brad: hey beautiful, you look ravishing in this fine lovely evening of isolation. me at 2am: squinting at my screen, with all my double chins smiling at him.

Satabdi Das: 09:25 This reactions clearly shows how much Brad's in love with his job, a person can get really emotional with anything related to their profession, it's the passion!

Cassandra Rivet: I feel like hair salons are going to be very busy after the quarantine

K O: The first girl was so good that she almost seems like a paid actor

etherae edits: i’m gonna grow my hair out just so i can impulsively cut it all off again

Rebecca Smith: I don’t know WHAT it is about being in quarantine that makes everyone want to mess with their hair but I have never wanted to hack my hair off more in my life thank you to Brad’s videos for making sure I don’t do something completely irreversible!

Led Zepher: I found your channel when searching “how to cut your own hair” in my quarantine desperation. I followed your video and OMG, I actually love my home hair cut almost as much as the salon. Now I am addicted to your videos. Your personality is so much fun and I learn a hell of a lot too. Where have you been my whole life! I didn’t 100% listen to your dry cut advice though. My OCD and risk taking got the best of me. I did however pinch the wet hair as I fanned the ends with the design of a fan paintbrush as I cut downward. Something just more satisfying to me cutting wet hair. I know, I know but it still came out pretty damn well.

Furieni I-I: Do you know what makes you one of the best youtubers? That you always support anybody no matter what they do and if you don’t agree with something you can make constructive critisism and not roasting the hell out of everybody. Your videos are light hearted and uplifting to watch, which is quite needed (especially nowadays). So thank you so much!❤️

Rhi23: The second girl's scissors tried to save her, by not cutting her hair

Rocki Whorer: I definitely tried it AND THANK YOU SO MUCH, BRAD!!! I hardly trust a hairdresser to trim my hair anymore. My "inch" trim turns into INCHES and I'm left devastated! Amber LaVine: The first girl: nobody is going to believe she did it herself. It looks amazing.

eyelovelife: As a lady rockin’ the pixie during quarantine, I need a tutorial to help combat the 4+ week mullet! I usually get a trim every 3-4 weeks and this has been BRUTAL—guess it’s a good thing the mullet is having a moment again.

Foxxi: Did this to my own hair and my sisters hair and they both turned out amazing, thanks Brad Mondo. ♥

Jennifer Burgett: I did the tutorial & it worked out wonderfully! My hair is naturally curly so after I straightened it I divided it into very small sections. I believe there was 8 in total. I didn't do the layering bc I have so much in there already, but I did take off 2-3 inches. There was a small section that was a little uneven in the back but my sis helped me fix it. After a few days I realized I need to go back in with a deeper angle to let the hair lay better when it's curly. Too much of a blunt end is never good for curly hair! Thank you so much for the tutorial!! I was in dire need of a cut & places are just now opening up around here.

klaritydawn: I just watched your tutorial on how to cut our own hair and YESSSS I am getting ready to try it! I'm terrified but I'm soooo doing it! LOVE that I found you! You're not only amazing with hair but sooo much fun to watch! I MUST have that heat protector! I take a lot of chemo and other meds bc I have Systemic Lupus AND my hair is super fine but long. I NEED that product! ;) Thanks Brad for the help and the FUN that you are!

tfs: Hey brad? Now that we’re in quarantine, the boys need a haircut tutorial. My hair is growing long and I don’t know how to cut it Update; I cut my own hair yesterday and it didn’t go well

MsNazrix: her hair is sooooo beautiful and glossy! she did a really good job on the haircut too

Elysiangel .-.: Actually yes, I followed it the day after you posted (just in time haha) turned out great! It was already shoulder length and now it's about an inch and a half above that. Doing more research and watching more of your videos cuz I want to go shorter but not mess it up horribly.

Cookie Monsterrr: I tried this tutorial and it’s the best home haircut ever haha ! It really works perfectly

Marlena k8: I followed your tutorial. My hair was three inches below my shoulders, uneven from an earlier attempt (BEFORE Brad made a tutorial) and had weird layers. I trimmed my hair so that it was to the shoulder and it came out perfectly even, got rid of all the weird layers, and has beautiful face framing now. Thank you so much Brad!

lisa hiatt: I love your reactions. You are such a positive person and I really just enjoy watching you. I have a short short pixie cut that has GROWN OUT being in isolation. ARGGGHHH. I'm afraid to try to cut it. I'll mess it up for sure. :D

Jenna Warrior: Brad knew what he was doing putting out a tutorial so during quarantine we don’t end up all looking like we went crazy thank you brad, thank you

Aninha Carol Tapajós Terapias: Sou brasileira, vou escrever em português mesmo! Sempre cortei meu cabelo eu mesma, horrivelmente... E agora com suas dicas, parece que fui ao salão de beleza! Obrigada :)

ScaredySquids: I would LOVE a tutorial on how to do your current hairstyle in this video. LOVE IT!!!

Jaimie Blosser: We need a men’s hair cutting tutorial!! My bf looks like a shag dog.

Michelle West: His intros when he says “hi beautiful” and just showers us with compliments honestly makes my day!!

Lauren More: I just tried your tutorial on my collarbone length hair. I recently bleached it, dyed it pink, then back to my original ginger and it was so damaged and thin at the ends it looked so sad. My waves were nowhere to be found. I cut about an inch off with your technique and i'm so, so happy! Its so much thicker and bouncier, and EVEN! Thank you, Brad. <3 I love your channel so much.

Nicole Ali: I love it! She did an awesome job! I wish I could but I have mad curly hair lol I'm scared. Btw, Brad! I love how much you compliment her haha it's so sweet ☺️✌❤

Allie P: Brad Mondo, your videos always brighten my day when I'm feeling down. Thank you.

Daelynn Copeland: Brad: I want to see it curlier 1st girl: say no more.

milomazli: I find it soooo amazing how you start your videos. I know its for fun, entertainment and sarcasm, but I think there is a spark of honesty with a big intention of support there. I just love it. It makes me feel very good. Thank you <3

Meghan Gunter: Brad mondo! I just did it on my hair! Thank you it looks great it honestly looks like when I go to the salon! ☺️❤️ you’re a life saver.

Christy Lane: I love watching you videos! The more I watch I say to myself "I wish Brad could cut my hair" Like I'd come to you and say do whatever you want!

HoneyBunster: Yes and it's perfect! Did it on CURLY short hair (dry). Worked perfectly (if a bit time consuming) - I don't know why you say it wouldn't work for curly as it hides everything...not that it needed to! :D But your tips in using the comb to make sure it's the same length, making sure to comb straight down, etc. helped a lot. Thank you!

Auguerfc Simp: Is it just me or does everyone wants to do something with their hair in quarantine ?!

Stephanie: I gave myself a trim using this method and my hair feels so much nicer now! It’s been like 8 months since the last time I cut it to shoulder length!

Makes me feel like there's love after all♥️ love your videos. Keeps me sane!

Yennifer Villa: Can somebody make a "Brad Mondo Cheering for You" compilation, so we can all watch this while accomplishing whatever we want to achieve? He would be like: "You are doing such a great job! That is not bad at all! Yes! Do it! That will be so good for you!" Can you imagine: Going jogging, learning yoga, cleaning the bathroom, editing photographs, writing your MA.

Nancy Quesada: So I tried your technique Saturday and it turned out good! I’m loving it! Thank you!

Zadie _: I’m considering trying this since my hair is thin and relatively straight. It’s about 2 inches longer than the last girl, and I think I have pretty careful hands, so hopefully if I decide to do it it’ll work. Wish me luck!

Robyn Banegas: I did it!!! Thank you Brad!! Cut off a few inches actually, and I love it! Not perfect, by any means, but it’s definitely doable for now and not bad at all!

Gabi Ramírez: I alson followed his tutorial yesterday and it came out amazing! Girls must give it a try thanks for sharing Brad

Autumn Akins: The pullingnit forward method actually works very well for me. I dont pull it up into a unicorn anymore though. That made my ends too thin and to a point. I now keep my hair down but pull it forward and cinch it under my chin. Then cut and point cut a little and when I let it loose it makes a subtle u in the back, and not a point. Honestly I prefer that to straight across. No matter, though, I love watching these! Brad is so sweet!

Claudia Rabalais: I love how brad is so happy. Hes like oh my god “ my children you have now learned they ways... be free, here are your kitchen scissors and hair bands. You have now graduated “

Rosey Rivera: You’re so cool! Love your tutorials!

Jade: I'd LOVE it if you did one for long curly hair! Cuz I'm ready to chop at it :)
