#TommyShelby #PeakyBlinders #Haircut

Hey guys welcome back to the regal gentlemen, YouTube channel out my garden, still we're not too far away from getting battle work now, so we have some great contents. So it's a film in this next day, a few weeks so stay tuned, but today, by probably the most popular the month, is the Tommy Shelby haircuts. Now this is the season 5 haircut. Okay, so I thought with us having a mannequin. We can go as true to that Tommy Shelby long as we possibly can so I've got the total free reign over this, so I can make it look exactly like the images that we see now. The image that I've been looking at is off the hair, stylist who's done the hair for the show it on air Instagram. Now I've been looking at that and what it looked like to me is that they're going a little bit shorter, this time wrap. It looks like it, it looks almost to make a north point. Five, maybe even close to a zero, but I think maybe an opera 5o, probably to be the most I'd, say the most obvious length. When I look at it because I think it was a zero. It would be, it would be a wedge like it is, but I don't think I think it would be a little bit more bold. Should we say on the back inside we're still see, though it looks like an or point five length. So that's what we'll do today, but I'll show you how to create the whole look alright, so it would just be a basic kind of half in leave the length bowl-cut, I'm gon na add a little bit more to it, because I've been looking at this like Image in a lot of depth - and it's definitely not just as easy as that it says. When I look at it, it looks as though you've got obviously a lot. You'Ve got a top heaviness, so here then you've got a little bit of a shorter side here and then obviously got the kind of that the wedge. So I want to recreate that as well today, alright, so what I'm gon na do. First is obviously I've shampooed and conditioned Ariens here, tuck his beard off as well, so that right off just try to get as close to Tommy Shelby as possible. Alright, now, if you think about it in the in the program, Tommy wears it in quite a number of different ways, sometimes it's quite flat on his face. Sometimes it's brushed over so you've a lot of the events he's going to he's going to horse racing. For example, it's swept over Craig kind of across his fringe a little bit later on, as we get through the series I mean, I'm a big fan of it as well. Is that you start to see it's more swept over coming across here like this was quite office face, so I want to recreate both then locks on the top with the new back inside of the fifth season. That'S what we're aiming for today, all right! So I'm gon na do you're gon na come out, I'm gon na come through and what I'm gon na do it's a method take a section of both the round of the head: okay, so similar to a horseshoe, but I'm gon na start. On my left hand side my work around to the right, because that's the way it's gon na fall over this side, so I want to start on the sides gon na follow CH. All I maintain a lot of this length or maintain the length feels like here onwards, to taking away this bit through here just over the round of the head, so it into his fringe, like that, I'm working across the crown of cake. Just if you look at a lot of the haircuts, especially the news one, the death of the of the sort of wedge is quite low on the new on the the first couple of series, it was quite high, but this one looks quite low, and so I Wants to try and mimic that so obviously leaving the crown in play, obviously a lot shorter than what it will be and then kind of work it into that wedge in a sense. Okay, so you'll see you'll, see it develop as we go along, I'm bringing it into the fringe. Okay, because I want to cut this part here. First, okay: now you want to do that. Ah, there we go, I'm sure took the hair up and open cuz. It'S long enough, I don't really need to use a clip I'll just use the length on the twist the fingers. Let'S hold that up. So as you can see it's above the round of the head now I spin that around as well. So you can see it above the round of the head right, so what I'm going to do first, is I want to pull away the fringe. So imagine this is on a client. You'Ve worked it into the fringe same ideas here, pull that away, because I want to maintain the length at the hairline at the foot. Okay, so I'm just going to comb that separately into the phone. So I want to leave that bit of Fringe okay, so I want to keep this length. I want to create a line here and keep this length separate to the top. Let me do so. You can lie underneath putting a straight out and I'm pulling a complete show. Those are drops that drops at the exact line. I want to take mine off point five, so I'm creating yourself a line here that would guide me through my north point. Five left me fingers flat against the head, pull it down and, of course, straight across so I'm essentially doing is leaving on line there. Put my section in there's my guide line there. Okay. Now this elements here is gon na be shorter and etosha me longer. If I pull that over that with over Hank okay same thing again now what allows me to do when I bring my fingers lower, it allows me to keep a little bit a length of the crown again, so I'm using my fingers as a guide all the Way around in that cross and drop it down a little bit the back as well, so based on the new images that I've seen it sort of drops down a little bit at the crown again. This is a very sort of basic hair. Koch'S again, they weren't really icons for the hair. Back in the day, if you believe the story, the clothing was exceptional, but the haircuts weren't exactly what they were. They were sort of you know renowned for in a sense of style. It was just their look. So again, we're looking to do something quite basic, but that is quite especially at the top. I don't that kind of little creative element to it as well again, this haircut isn't for everybody, but it's a fantastic haircut nonetheless, and see I'm just creating a guide. All the way around and just following the guide from before, come on the fringes, it's off so sorry, I now might stop to the other side. Okay, my guide and there's my guide there as well: okay, match donations and I'm gon na start let this dry. Naturally, okay, because I just don't want a stylist here at the end when it's a bit dumped, because that way, that is the way the product will sit into it. I'M use a clay for this and who's the rego diamond. My clay for this one. I want to apply it when it's damp summer. I'Ve washed this I've conditioned it and I'm gon na stop cutting this and I'm gon na start to leave it to dry. Not your ma can use a hairdryer on it. I just want this to dry. Naturally, as warz we get to the end, it's still got a little dampness to it. Then I can apply the proper than leave. No one will do is Paul to leave it down. So I'm on to my half now, okay, I'm gon na place a line in pay now this sounds crazy, but watch place. The line in like that on the north point, five we've created a nice wedge to it, nor work again following that line, dropping it down. So we're not going in on the zero or we're creating a wedge to that's how we're gon na get this harshness. As my guide, okay, I'm just working it down so starting a little bit first like this and then I'll wake up from the side bends! That'S how I create my nice wage data and try and get that line, obviously using a zero, it's much easier, because obviously it goes right down. So it creates a solid line, but with an off point five, it works really well and just working around now. Then you should we're going over all bits that I need to. I'M waking up to the line I place at my heart. So that's how it works a lot better when you're working wait longer here: okay, it's working it flat to the scalp, I'm working around again using my guide and waking up to where it started now. Have you notice guys I'm doing this when the hair is a bit west as well? Now the reason for that is, I find it easier to put the liner then, when it's dry, the West drives a lot fluffier and the lye might not stay levels. When it's just a little bit wet you get the line to stay. You get the hair to sift flatter and it's much easier to place a line, especially on your work on our North when five as well we're just wet enough that you can see the teeth mark to pay through that or the comb. I'M just making sure you going over all the hair. You start from the side of meat much in the middle. Just waking up to the line. Remember not scooping up and off. I'M waking up to the line scooping up and off would start to treat graduation, which is what we don't want in this trying to stay away from any form of graduation, really we're just having basically a half shorter hair longer here, essentially, what the circlet is again. Tommy wasn't well known for his sharp fades on the neck or anything so I'm staying as true to it as possible. That'S what shorter than the bottom! No, it's just anything they clip around but trying to mannequin, because obviously the hair grows out different ways just going to go over downs loss. This is good if anyone does have very thick straight hair. It'S always nice the way down as well onto my scissors. Now I'm going to do should have cut in along this line, just to make it perfectly straight. So I'm gon na do is by angling, the comb and the teeth toward you, and it got any little stray hairs just so that line it's it's a lot sharper as you work the teeth as I bring it across you'll, see that it's uneven through there. So I just want to make that bit more, even so, just teeth as far towards me as possible working. This is a nice completely straight I'll, just sharpen off that line a bit more as well our nation streets, so we've got our line in got our base line in some of the I'm shooting a short in this area slightly, just because it's obviously still quite long. Norway from the line I'm trying to wake up and off so I'm still getting this okay creek, keeping that harsh line, I'm just going to shorten this through a little bit as well. Just so, we've got that shorter element through here and then we've got that longer element through the stoppers or so you can see we're still keeping that nice sharp line in which one that's which shorter there we go well fish. It started to dry up nicely. Yes, I'm going to use a bit of free hand. Clipper is again on the mannequin. It sticks out a little bit more. So if you were doing this on a guy with likes it fine here, that would sit really flat. Okay! Well, because we're on a mannequin is a little bit straighter. I'M gon na cap over there. Alright just closed guard and you're gon na bring it in on the sides. Just so we don't get too much of a sticky kind of a mushroom effect. Don'T want that that wedge, look as well, we've got or line 1 or 0.5. We'Ve got our shorter elements here, as we comb this all out. We'Ve still got our overhang from the top of us. We'Ve got two different lengths through here on the side. You have the short length, the short that you are an open fire here, they're shorter lengths here, then we let the long length through the top it off. Okay. Now I'm going to take section so here through the top on a slight diagonal, but doing that when you start with move length through the sides, we start getting longer and longer through the front, okay and then cuts so much again. So I've got my guide here. The bottom I just cut okay, it's going we're getting left with, is a very heavy wedge. Those are four forward. You maintain movements as well. We stopped bringing this backwards. Okay, if you watch and you look at any Tommy's haircuts right, short ones at the front there. It matches through the top so falls forward like that. Okay, that's what we'll lock until you've maintained that point down same section again, some feather over this time! So I'm going to bring this over from the crown down into that section again from this back and cut the overhang there. Okay, as we get to this points here, bring this back on an angle so much okay right there we go, show maintained, shortness through here then keeping length through the front. So, as you can see here, but yours here and gets longer towards the front but I'll guide them today, down at the same section, come on guys they're, just straight across just in front of the crowd. Pull down to match, cut, see your guide underneath so to your line and as you get to this side, you should start to connect okay. So we want to connect now, but to me season five Tommy Shelby. It starts the race take place, especially the back here. So now come on up from the crown I'm left with very heavy front. I'Ll still take some length off that. So I want this to sit just on the eyebrows. Okay. Maybe it took so long for the mannequin, it's maybe to about here case. We could sweep that across gon na come out from the crown pick it up from the crown and take off whatever. I think so, because we've worked either side or left foot length in the middle. So I want to keep this back low but shorter and graduate longer sores. The floods. Can I straight up now, when I get to just in front at the top of the head, the apex. I want to start slightly over thy Retton to graduate as well. So we're going from shorter to longer so when you start to do that when you start to over director, you start that maintain more length as we get forward. Okay, don't bring this straight up for now and now I'm going to start to bring this back back to that section I just put now okay, so we're so gon na take some length off, but ultimately gon na leave a lot of length of the front again As you can see, I'm cutting everything uniform here: okay, not looking too overly having any sort of putting cotton in there. If that I'm gon na slightly slightly slide into this ever-so-slightly ball again, I want the section that we to create the texture, but ultimately it's all about that longer top heaviness, as you can see, as I'm something towards the front, sounds get a little bit thinner. We should also be left with quite a lot of length at the front, as well as a coolness down on an awful lot of length of fronts or a few short of it's through the back here as well. Okay, so that's one over direction does as you pick it up, it's my guide and there's my guy from that side as well, fingers, nice and straight. But after this section now - and I start pulling everything back its that previous section hold it back there we go section from the center. It'S the left hand, side pick it up and my guide there's my guides and not much is coming off, go or nice and straight erratic sections start to pull this back. Now there we go, I'm gon na cut the fringe in now so again the length I want to leave it, so I leave it quite long, quite heavy okay. So I'm thinking I'm gon na take its you're on this mannequin about here now, in a real-life situation, the hair line will be slightly higher up, so you won't just have it so it just as you pull it across. It'S it's just along the eyebrows. Okay. So I do and pull this down all the way from the back I'll take off about that, much okay, nice and straight, using as my guide and then working on a slight diagonal now to connect into the side. So you pull it around a guy from there and you go from there copilot listen to what you're getting is that coming through. But if you look at Tommy Shelby's haircut when it is fallen, it is that sheep straight down using your guide from that side. There, nice and straight more into the middle of so much are the last bit. We do now section it off and put so much on an angle, so we match up. So that's all it's like what it was so slightly just to break a bit of texture in there thin it out slightly. Do you see Tommy's quite a slight bit of texture in there working through as well right down slide into the fringe a little bit as well, I'm sure cause into the fringe a to point: cotton slightly, just to break it up, I'm just going to thin this! As well, just by point cotton into it, okay, just to thin out I'm just point cut into the corner. This you've told you to thin the hair ass. Here we go so we're gon na style this now, so I'm going to use a bit of the Regal gentlemen. My clay - I don't forget - I haven't wet this it's horse since it was shampooed I've. Let this naturally air dry, because I find that when you start to let it naturally dry you'll find you start to see the style coming out as you close on it. Okay, now we haven't have to do too much egg raise away this. In fact, no razor work show not to wet the hair down a lot a little bit of slide by wasn't slide into it. This is a close. I was open and closing as I was working so something to drag the hair okay. So nobody go jump on my clay, the scrunch they sent. Okay, that's so make sure you get it all the way around. The sides on that blend make sure you scrunched up all the way in nice, it's all rubbed in and then we're going to style in the true Tommy Shelby fashion. So again, this is coming up and over into one side off his face that wedge in it you've got to overhang on the side. There now then use my wide tooth comb. Now this should be this product. That'S not a coma into place again, with a top heaviness got a threat off his face slightly down and I cross the heaviness and then just tucked away on the side. It'S not all blends in so itself and then just whatever is left on my hands. Just flattened through the sides, no I'm just gon na run my fingers through it just a little bit more natural Locker. He tends to have a nice play at the Chevron this through the back on the strut right over it, so they can fall on the face. If you want to, you can bring it right across depending how you want it so for now I know on a real person. This wouldn't sit as wide what this essentially you're, looking for key when you're doing a real person, it wouldn't be growing out as wide on the sides. It'S it a lot flatter, but essentially this is the what you want to take the opportunity, and that is my Tommy Shelby season. Five inspired haircuts. You see that got a lot fringing. There still helps around to the side. It'S it's very heavy on that side as well. So what we're looking for - and that is the angle that season five is taking her. So it's dropped down a lot towards the crown. It'S still very heavy. You'Ve got that shorter element through here. So it's almost like a short buck in size with a north point, five port right in, and that is the season. Five Sami Shelby Echols
