Hey everyone. Today'S haircut video is going to be of the character ellie from the last of us part two which i played. I beat the game. I also did a video on joel's haircut, which you can go back and watch but ellie i've gotten. So many requests for ellie's haircut and it's a really really cute kind of textured layered soft bob, where the end just kind of flip out - and i think it's a great haircut for anyone not only her character. But it's a really really cool cute haircut and i'm going to do it so follow along and then i'll break it down at the end. So so so right, so all right everyone! So let's break down the ellie haircut from the last of us too. Basically, it is a you know, lightly. Layered bob, and the first thing i did was establish the length in throughout the back here. As you can see - and i really did this all in kind of one shot here - just create some sort of texture and the real key focal point of this haircut when you see her you know running around is: is the hair flipping out throughout the back right? Like this all these pieces and things like that, that's really the key of of the haircut right here and then it works into this kind of like lightly layered shape and through here we'd have a shorter to longer angle going on in through here she does have Her hair tucked back a lot of the time. Unfortunately, this mannequin doesn't allow for the hair to be tucked back and for it to stay back. Unless i would like you, know, pin it or something like that, but this is a lot of kind of a lot of what her hair looked like in most of the video game here more flat to her head, because, obviously she's you know getting down and dirty And she's running around over the place and who knows her hair is probably a big greasy mess, you know but uh and then the other side same thing created a kind of lightly layered shape in through here i focused most of the layering throughout the bottom half And you know it's very, very balanced as far as the layers, it is a little bit kind of shorter to longer going a little bit longer right towards the front again. She does have it tucked behind the ear, but you'll occasionally see you know a piece like this or something like that. You know which i thought was really really cool. So it's a really nice haircut. I created a layered shape throughout the entire back. The first section i pulled everything straight up and cut it this long. This was probably about i'd, say, seven inches long or so brought up all the layer all the length in the back to match up to that one layer, and then i went in throughout the bottom half and removed a lot of that weight. I also did some slide cutting. I did some point cutting to really make this a little bit more kind of pc and textured connected the layers going from the back into the top, and then i held everything straight out from the head, followed the head shape and then again i did do a Little bit of slide cutting into here, because i did notice she had kind of a fringe going shorter to longer, and you would occasionally see kind of that piece come down towards the front here like this, and then here are the flipped up ends i used. This is also key after i blow dried it with my round brush, which i am selling the round brushes on my website. Right now, they're really really good they're thermal ceramic brushes, which means it protects your hair while you're blow drying it from the heat. I blow dried it, and then i use my product shadow, which is a really kind of great lived in type of look product. It'S a cream so because of ellie's hair in the game. Like i mentioned, she had a lot of action going on. The hair was always pretty much dirty or you know, either wet. So i used that to try to recreate that type of look for this haircut, and here we have the finished result: hi youtube. Thank you so much for watching.
