I think guys spend the longest time praying and hoping that their beer is gon na finally come out that they might have the opportunity to grow a little bit of facial hair and then once the Scotts room kicks in, and you finally get your wish. It'S like what do I do now so, since this is something I've never talked about today. What I want to talk about is how you can match that facial hair, that you have to the hair style that your rock, so one key concept about this is balance. This is gon na, be very important. It'S important across almost anything that has to do with personal image. So, for example, if you're rocking a fuller haircut on the sides, especially you're gon na, want your beard to be a little bit. Fuller, it's gon na create a seamless transition. That'S gon na look balanced. On the other hand, if your rock skin fades like I do a lot, then you might want to rock a lower cut beard or something like a 5 o'clock shadow. You get what I'm saying again: it's gon na create that seamless transition, that's gon na look proportional and balance to your face. Let'S start with no hair guys that, let's say have either thinning hair or just completely bald. They have no hair. If this is the case for you, then you definitely want to rock some facial hair. One of the things that I hear a lot from guys that are thinning or have bald hair is the lack of confidence because they are losing their hair, so an instant way to gain back that confidence is to grow out your facial hair and again create that Balance so whatever you lack up here, you can make up here, just make sure you always keep it nice clean and trim. So you don't get confused for a hobo. Now personally, I have a lot of trimmers. I have, I think, like four or five of them, and I use it for all my manscaping needs, but one of these best trimmers that I've been using so far is this one from Brio called the beard scape. This is by far the most advanced trimmer. I have and one that I definitely recommend for any facial hair needs and really just overall manscaping, for example, if you're rocking the five o'clock, it has a built-in precision adjustment anywhere from one millimeter to 1.9 millimeter. To give you the most precise cuts in that clean five o'clock shadow that you're looking for. On the other hand, if you want to rock a fuller beard, it comes with clip guards as well, and on top of that, it's really advanced because it has a 5-speed setting. You can literally see what rpms you're using on your face and choose one to best tackle your beer and then the weirdest thing that I've never used before. This thing has raise it so almost every tremor that I've used at least that I've seen always comes with some sort of stainless steel razor. This one, however, comes with ceramic, and this thing is so sharp when it cuts according to the website. This thing is five times harder than steel: it also causes less friction and it's also quieter, and you can see how sharp it is when I'm using it against my face - and it's definitely one of the best beard trimmers that I've used. If you guys want to check them out, I'm gon na have them linked below with a discount code. It'S at a great price, and I'm telling you guys this thing beats almost any trimmer. You can find on the market today or let's move on to the next hairstyle, and that would be a bust cut. This isn't necessarily you thinning or losing hair or being completely bald. You have a little bit of hair on top. You also don't want to be clean-shaven, keep in mind that when you have a bus cut, you run the risk of having an egg head. This is because you lack contour and symmetry that a hairstyle gives you so rocking a nice five o'clock shade with some scruff. That can definitely add back some of that contour and give you a balanced and attractive look. The next style is a little bit longer and it's the side-swept or the French crop, whatever you want to call it, but it just means that you're gon na have a little bit longer, not medium hair style, but it's also not a bus cut. This one is seeing more professional, you see, is usually a more mature man and more in an office setting where you're not going for trendy looks. If this is the look you're going for, then it usually means you want a more mature or professional look. I really wouldn't recommend to be rocking a scruffy 5 o'clock or a massive beard honestly. The best pairing for this just go clean-shaven, so remove the clip guard off your trimmer and get as close as possible, and if you want a baby but smooth shave, then obviously you're gon na need something like a razor. Now we move into more complex hairstyles, which are medium length, hair styles, and they this can be anything from. You have a side part a pompadour, a brush up. Here'S where things start getting tricked, keep in mind my first suggestions, if you're rocking short size like I do or if you're rocking longer size, because that definitely comes into play. But if you already have a lot of hair and it's shaggy or very thick like mine, you don't want to do an overkill and just grow a massive beard. It'S just gon na be too much too overpowering and it's gon na take over your face. You'Re gon na be a walking bush, so don't over, kill it with the massive beard, but also don't go clean-shaven instead balance it out with a medium tulo beer. This is also beneficial, because not only does it give you that John line structure that so many guys to go for, but Trenton you're gon na be seeing this year's that beards are starting to come down. Guys aren't rocking massive beards like they were 2014-2015, so bring down your beard, you're gon na not only look stylish but also more attractive, and finally, we have long hair style. This is for the guy that it's way past medium. You have to the point that you could probably do a ponytail. This is you, then you have a long, hair style now. This part is very tricky because you're faced with two options here, a either you have to make sure you have a nicely squared off and structured jawline. So you look masculine or B, grow out a manly beard to look masculine, because if you don't have either of those two, you could run the risk of looking a little feminine. So when you're at this hairstyle, definitely let your beard go out. I would say even past, like a size, four or five and personally your gon na look pretty aggressive and rugged, and if that's, what you're going for that's gon na look awesome. Alright boys, that's it for today's video hope. You guys enjoyed it. If you did don't forget to drop us a like down below also don't forget to check out our sponsor Breo, I'm gon na have that trimmer linked down below with the discount code, so you guys can check them out. That'S it for me today see you next time.

The Cowboy: Good video. Good tips and advice. If I may, though, I personally would highly recommend the vacuum beard trimmer from Remington. The particular model I have, an older one; which I have had for about 8 or so years, has four beard clips, the longest measuring at 12mm. The new ones have longer settings and beard clips, the longest clip I believe goes up to 25mm, which does give more variety. It trims really well, I have absolutely zero complaints about it. The best part about the trimmer I have, is the vacuum feature, cuts down a lot on the mess left behind, I'd say by as much as 90%.

S: You conveyed the simple things in a really informative and engaging way, very clear and logical, i learnt some stuff cheers

Gilo27x: Although this was very informative and well structured, I think you also need to address different beard styles. Such as sideburns, goatee, mustaches, soul patches, combinations of these, etc. This video was basically the length of the beard. Looking forward if you do a video on this.

K T: One of your best and informative vids hands down!! Thank you!

John Murphy: Man! Super helpful vid! I'm ALWAYS trying to figure out what hair style to go with my beard.

Cali 2 TX boxing: Cool video jose im going bald, and growing my facial hair does make me feel better and balanced.

atul pinheiro: That trimmer looks sharp af! great video as always man!

Gino Cruz: Love the quality of the videos man

Dime Slinger: My hair is waist length and my beard is full. The beard isn't as crazy as the mane, but we're in the era where both are admired.

CLARENCE NG: Jose! Great job! Can u do more challenges?

bayu priyanta: can you make tips of how to choose a good pattern on flannel? thank you

Huestom: Hey, Jose, quick question. Im 18yo and I don't have much beard/moustache but I have some. When I try to shave what I have with a razor, it hurts like the razor is pulling the hair, not cutting. Ive used water + shaving cream, shaving cream itself, letting the shave cream make the hair softer then cut... etc. My question is. What the hell Im doing wrong

oyenic: I love the bald/bearded look. It looks so sharp and masculine. Fav.

Itay Tabib: can we just take a moment to appreciate how fresh the shirt and the watch are

Safwan C: Love your videos. You've got a new sub

Noob: have you got a video on what beard/tache suits what face type?

Mario Zarazua: Do more vlogs Jose.

KaptenFluffen: Style channels need to learn from tech channels such as LinusTechTips when it comes to sponsorships. They very very rarely incorporate the sponsored product in the video. Instead they have a short sponsor spot in the beginning and the end of the video, often unrelated to the video topic. This way the whole video doesn't feel like a big ass sponsor spot. Please go with the way of LinusTechTips, it feels much more genuine.

Konrad Ž.: Loving the shirt, man! Any chance you could link it?:)

Patty Hart: jose, my husband was clean shaven for 30yrs & now he has grown a beard, mustache & almost shoulder length hair. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!! My husband is retired military.....I understand that now he can wear his facial hair & hair the way he wants to BUT kissing him, is like kissing a stiff hairbrush & he longer hair - he looks like a 50yrs old man in his mid life crisis. I thought that he would be a classy, sophisticated 50yrs. PLEASE DO A VIDEO ABOUT THIS, PLEASE!!!!!!!

Yussof Ross: I'm trying to go for that Ben Affleck Argo beard and hair combo.

nitin jain: my mustach and chin area is growing well but in cheecks its very patchy what should i do to grow beards

Beatmaster96: Do you still use minoxidil?

Marcus Shaw: Okay, what if I can grow a long beard on my chin, but I cant grow side burns?

Sam Kholdorov: can you make video about how to grow beard from zero? and what kind of vitamins will be useful to grow it?

henry james paul laurente: thx bro it helps a lot

Jamie Meyer: Thats a lot of ”Rockin” goin on:) Love the videos man!

Nykore (official): Im a huge fan of all your casual/oxford shirts. Can you please reccomend a good place to buy some?

Jonathan Pena: Haven't watched the video yet but I'm curious how the fifth watches will help my hair and beard

David Zagreda: great video!

M: i prefer the contrast, short hair on sides = bigger beard, long hair on sides = shorter beard/stubble. Basically, the opposite of what you said.

Anonymoose Watcher: Been searching for this for long time in google. Tnx TMF.

Marcel M: i turned 29 today, and i still cant grow more than a few mesely patches. smh, such bs. i want a freaking beard so i can look my age!!!

beforehours: I have like visible hair on the top of my cheek and they connect with my eyebrow I'm too scared to use a razor to shave that much ... what should I do shave or wax that hair

Alfredo Mejia Jr: Great video but I have to disagree with the length of your hair must determine your beard length

Wings of KFC: I'm balding and want to grow a beard, but because my hair is so dark, I don't think it looks good on me.

Amarjeet Singh: hey please make a styling video or series for men who wear turban like Sikhs and Muslims.

B G: damn almost 700,000 subs? i remember watching his vids at 2000 subs lol...good work

Ramboman: I cant grow a beard but I'm watching this

VIPGameStars: Love from UK, from a struggling student who insipres from your videos

Coatez: 2:42 that cute voice break haha :)

MatchUp1: What about curly hair?

Caleb H: So if I was to match my hair to my beard/facial hair I'd have to shave my head...

Nikos S.: I have a skin fade but i let my hair on top long. What do u recomed?

Dank j. TrumPEPE: if I had a dollar for every racist joke I've said black people would mug me

Drogo Mimosa: i'm going for that long hair big angular yet tidy beard. Viking style.

Itay Tabib: Jose what do u think about fading the beard? that way it makes sense to have it with a skin fade hair cut.. kinda trendy but a good look

Cristian Carano: I have a buzz cut and I have a clean shaved face. I have good jaw features so clean shaved looks good with my buzz cut

Skuash: Make a video for guys with receding hairline, I have big receding hairlines but I'm not bald but I can't get any haircut because it looks ridiculous, what I do now is just shave my head (not 100% shave, just very short hair).
