Brooks & Co. Weddings: My mom used to do this hair style! Lovely bouffant beehive! It is exactly how she used to do it to!!! If you look at old movies it was a french twist into a beehive!!! Lovely Thanks

Macy King Maguire: Wow, thanks for the advice! I have to do this for a play, so I'm looking for a way to take it up and down easily.

TackyAki: I didn't say this wasn't the "vintage" way, it's just how we learned it, and it's a BASIC GUIDE.

TonicalYoutubing: From someone who frequently wears a beehive as an everyday style: It's easier with a rat. Put a bun form, your own rolled up hair from your hairbrush (not for me, but they did it in the 60s) or a small rolled sock under the top part- you have to backcomb less and it's much more stable throughout the day.

Chrissy Salon: Loved it I like to see you do a French pleat and a bunch of curls

TackyAki: I went to hair school and I'm a Red Seal hairstylist, I've been hairdressing for 7 years. This is the basic way to do a beehive, there's ways you can personalise it and make it your own. Yes his is messy and unfinished-looking but you have to just use your brain and make it how you want.. That's the point of a TUTORIAL: Give the basic idea so you can take what you want from it. Yes, schools do teach "the way ppl use to do back in the day", pincurls, rollersets, etc.

Theresa Mazur: I really wish that you would've shown exactly what you did when you pinned the hair up, instead of just showing it pinned up. It would've been a lot more helpful if you showed exactly what you did, step by step, instead of just skipping ahead and showing the hair already pinned up. I would feel a lot more confident doing it on my own hair, and been able to review the video as I was doing it myself. Now I have to search for a more in depth tutorial.

Jadiewady: I wish I could do it as good as you do! My hair is so thin..

Nancy Karen Rivera: Love it!^.^

Brittany Murderface: you guys should do some 80's hair styles too. ^_^

Marquita Bailey: Love it

Grace: You didn't show how to pin the 2nd part (the beehive bump) into the French twist, so I'm left wondering how I'm to do that myself! Not super helpful, but very pretty end result.

EJofLA: Overall a pretty look, but think it could be improved by making it slightly looser. Looks a little tight and narrow from the front.

itsaquagmire: What kind of "pins" is the stylist using to secure the chignon? I know bobby pins would never hold my hair up like that. Is he using spring-loaded clips? What kind? If anyone knows, I'd appreciate your reply!

Emilee Renee: Ringo Starr is amazing, dont be hating.. good job on tutorial, it was super quick and looks a lot easier than i thought it would be

TackyAki: Hey everyone, news flash, this is exactly how we learned it in hair school.

Carl De: Taht's NOT a bee hive, it's a version of a twist. These people don't know what they are doing.

Aly Golightly: It looks like Holly Golightly's hair ! ^____^

loverlyme: As a former teacher of 30+ years, this is a FAIL when it comes to tutorials. You just presumed everyone knows all the steps in between. The introduction and recap were longer than the instruction section. I really hope your tutorials have become more detailed since 2011, otherwise you will have lost 95% of your 'students.'

Nicole Frizzie: it looks nice, however you did not explain it well

Darcee Dillon: Actually it's more genuine to the 60's, not the 50's.

kirwanqueren: For a professional look that looked like CRAP. I would be so ashamed to have that be shown as my work as a hair stylist. Wow.

Emily Tran: i really don't get why people make rude comments just because this video is by a professional and not by a regular youtuber

Direness: Exactly. And you'll have less bumpage to smooth over - this beehive looks really sloppy to me.

Greg Norvick: Very good

MissFitt Dolly: i know it is the basic way cause thats what i learned in school too

Hillary Smith: That would be HELL to brush out afterwards.

Peau Rose: I tried it and it looks horribly, my hair's just too thick to handle

MissFitt Dolly: yeah but schools don't do vintage hair the same way ppl use to do back in the day. i know cause i am in cosmo school

Eva: He'd do well with a shave.

Alice Josephine: Looks awesome but needed more instruction.

Jane Chloe: She look very pretty

Anita McGrew: This is a french twist!

Beachangel1221: Wow... The comments are brutal. I didn't think it looked all that bad.

Georgina Rowbotham: wow he's charismatic

Stella Selv: the BEST...........

The3Randoms ACK: To me as a hairdresser this is just a french roll with alot of body at the front section......

Gema Morales: I've seen better than this plus showing step by step how to do it. ☹

willemparrucchiere: And this should be a beehive like Mari Wilson's? eat your heart out boy, your work doesn't even come close!

Tayla Carlin: ...Why not just backcomb your hair and pin it...then hairspray...simples.

GLLS007: this isnt a beehive it french twist

Laura McCarthy: This is too hard!!

Sarah Noire: Stylist reminds me of Ringo Starr..

Andrea Barrientes: You skipped so many steps. Still am so confused

Amy Vannessa Speirs: This is pretty crap. I doubt that it only takes 3 steps to do this. :'(

Brenda: That is NOT a bee hive. That is a french roll. They were both popular in the same era and were two totally different styles. You need to do your homework and state facts correctly, or you might cause you reputation to be known as... not credible, not professional, and lackadaisical in content presentation.

ГКУ ЧИКАБАМБОНИ: не аккуратно

Leehaa14: Not a very good tutorial as you dont show clearly what the steps are and how to actually get there. rubbish

MissFitt Dolly: i am not saying u don't know how to do hair and yes i know school teach pin curls and rollers i am in school i have learned all that but some vintage hair they just don't teach them the exsact the way ppl use do thier hair.

Sameer Sam: Its a french twist...

Lolly Genet: Looks great but this is rubbish if you want to try it yourself. You're not showing step by step but jump from one stage to another, so hard to replicate. Just showing off me thinks.

Amy Vannessa Speirs: To marionetemenJ : I think you're commenting on the wrong video.

Darcee Dillon: Jesus, look at the conk on that girl.

Crystal Simpson: Wow that looks horrible!!!

Dhinesh Kumar: Hey there, are you familiar with "HAIRator" yet? Simply look on Google. There I discovered a great and pain-free hair removal alternative that needs zero waxing or shaving. Actually, this specific treatment has been highlighted in Vogue and other media. It made it easier for Kenny to get long lasting smooth skin. I hope it works for you too...

i sign: that was not perfect and one of the worse editorials i have ever seen.

Jericho Ortiz: You shouldn't talk badly about someone who is trying to teach you something. Let's see you do it then, no que bien mamon whey?

Jessica Jones: not clear

Tilly Mitchell: The videos not working

Ez: This is a bad tutorial

VICTOR MANUEL RODRIGUEZ RODRIGUEZ: ugly... that was a completely mess...

Bonnie: Click bait

ariel51673: it's so incomplete........

Jenna Rujawitz: This did not help at all!!

Tiff JM: That did not help at all

Bethany Sachs: @WhiteTulip2113 I agree with u u can't even c wat he's doing

TheDomminatriX: sorry, looks like a hot mess

Karin Stewart: Awful

juniorycecymartinez: Ugly!!!!

Renata Mahmud: this is crap!!! i'm going back to videojug now :/

Monique Griffin: I hated it periods I hate that
