What'S up everyone, my name is Alex Casas and since most barber shops and salons have been closed, there are a lot of dudes going through what we call the awkward stage of hair growth right. The awkward stage is when your hair is in medium length. It'S not long enough to wear up and it's not short enough to style it properly. Well, don't worry guys today. I have really encouraging words and some great tips that will help you get through this awkward stay, and I also have big big news. All right. The Forte series family is getting bigger. We are going from one product, the texture, clay with extreme hold to 5 products. I cannot wait to tell you more about these, but before we do that, let's get into the first tip that I have for you time. Your awkward stage so that it hits you when it's winter time what that means is start letting your hair grow right around the end of summer time so that by winter your hair is at the awkward stage around that six-month mark. That'S what it's the hardest to manage! That'S when you're gon na have the most trouble with it now. Obviously, we couldn't really pick the time for this pandemic to hit, but if you want to keep it growing, this is the time to do it right, but the time Windsor comes here in the US anyway, Robin you know January. Your hair will be very long and pretty hard to manage, but you're not gon na be going out as much you're, not gon na be hanging out with as many people, because winter sucks and during winter times you can hide it with beanies or hats, which is The second tip that I have for you guys start getting some nice hats and adding them to your collection. It'S gon na help you get through the weird length right. If you're going out to their groceries or run errands, you can just throw on a hat and you're good, just be careful with how often you're wearing hats, because it's not the best look in the world. Alright, don't be that guy. That is always wearing hats. Do it once in a while, when you don't have time to fix up your hair before you step out of the door? That'S totally fine and, of course, be mindful of where you're going to wear that hat. All right. No offices like work right, ideally no bars and restaurants, especially at night, because that's just a little bit douchey not gon na lie. It'S not the look that you want to go for next guys use the right products to make sure that you keeping your hair under control. Look the your hair gets the harder it's going to be to manage right. So you have to invest in good products. No drugstore products, because most of them are not that great. You need something better and guys, I'm so proud, so happy so excited to announce our new Forte series, hair care collection. I'Ve been telling you about the argan oil for a while now, and I was keeping some surprises, some secrets. We are launching four new products all at the same time. That'S right. We have the Forte series, hydrating argan oil, that you should use daily. Ok, this oil makes my hair feel and look so nice and smooth. It gets rid of frizz, it gets rid of flyaways and it smells so good. It smells incredible. Then we have the new styling products all right. This is the molding paste. This is buttery smooth. It almost feels like you're digging your finger into a pillow, it's so easy to scoop out and to apply. It has great hold texture and it can be used as a post or a priest eyelet. That is what I'm wearing in my hair right now. Ok, so you can see that my hair is very long and it's still holding it up and it's flexible. I can move it around and then put it right back into place and it's stay. So it's insane that this paste is holding my hair together right now and then we have the clarifying shampoo and the hydrating conditioner and they both have a peppermint scent. So when you're in the shower, it literally makes you feel like you're in a spa. It'S so nice it's invigorating and we have high-end ingredients. In these we have shea butter, apple, cider, vinegar, aloe vera, peppermint oil and of course they are sulfate and parabens free. All these products will be available for pre-order on June 6th, alright, so mark your calendars is coming up and because of Colvin's we only have a limited amount of each of these. So we are doing a bundle, sale with a huge giveaway and everything and they will go fast, ok check out the link in the description or go to Forte Series, com2 pre-order yours on June 6. Finally, guys I've been waiting to tell you this for so long. I'Ve been trying these products for months and months, and I'm so happy that the day is finally here and hopefully you guys like the new brand as well. I think I think it looks awesome next on the list, get your ends trimmed every few months now, a lot of guys are confused by this one. Why would I cut my if I'm trying to let it grow? It doesn't make sense right. Well, it's not true, and let me explain why, when you get split ends at the end of your hair, let's say right here right: if you don't cut it out, then this split can actually keep going from the ends all the way down here and then, if Your hair is gon na get weaker and weaker and, at some point it's going to break, causing it to lose the hair and to lose that length that you've been waiting so long to get so cutting your split ends is actually something that you really need to Do to make sure that doesn't happen to make sure you're not breaking your hair. Just keep an eye on your ends. You know and go get him cut to every three to four months and of course it goes without saying guys. Don'T go all the time cut. It as little as possible right only the split ends need to go only the necessary here so that you can grow your hair quicker and get out of this awkward stage. Something else, then, you can start doing right now to make sure that the process is a little bit easier, is learning to control the sides here all right. This is one of the biggest issues when you're growing out your hair. The sides just won't stay, put it's so annoying right. They get really poofy or they start going over your ear and it's really really annoying. So what you need to do is learn to manage the size, use a high hold product to pull your hair back and to hold it there all right. The Forte's series - texture clay, is obviously an amazing product for that just rub a little on your hands and then run your fingers through the sides pulling it back. You can even use a brush after to really smooth everything out. I'D also recommend getting the sides trimmed. Once in a while, because most long hairstyles need a longer top right, but actually shorter sides, and that still looks really really good and of course, by having shorter sides here, it is just so much easier to manage I'd even recommend getting some hairspray to make sure. There'S no flyaways after you're done, brushing and styling your sides here of your hair next tip, for you guys is stop washing your hair everyday with shampoo. You shouldn't be washing your hair everyday with shampoo, because it actually damages your hair. Okay, when you wash it every day when you shampoo it every single day, you're stripping it of the natural oils, and when that happens, your scalp can actually start to produce more oil or it can get really dry. So it messes with the balance of the oil within your scalp and within your hair, which causes your hair to thin out to get weaker and to break. So you don't want to do that. I'Ve already said this to you guys, multiple times you want to shampoo your hair like two or three times a week. That is totally fine. Even when you're aware of styling products, just wash it with water, you can apply conditioner make sure to apply conditioner as soon as you're done, washing it with shampoo. It needs to be a hydrating conditioner that is going to get that moisture into your hair and into your scalp after your shampoo and guys stop approaching this as the awkward stage. It'S so bad, oh my god. Alright, there are plenty of haircuts there for every stage. So don't panic don't be like? Oh, my god, this sucks, I can't wait to get my hair cut. I can't wait for it to belong, enjoy the process. Alright, it takes a long time and it takes a lot of effort to get your hair to be long. Even my hair right now, I'm like man, this is so annoying. Alright, I can't really get the volume that I want, because it's too long it just falls down. You know it's like a little bit short weirdly short, so I can't really tie it back. So it's in like this weird awkward stage, but I'm enjoying it. You know I run my hands through my hair all the time I check out the length I play around with it. I put it to one side or the other enjoy the journey because it will be worth it. One of the biggest advices I can give you guys is to learn the power of the blow-dryer. It changes the way that your hair looks and behaves. You can basically control your hair right and straighten it, or it can give it a little bit of waves and curls. Honestly, the blow-dryer will completely change the way their your hair looks. So if you are trying to grow your hair out - and you don't have a blow-dryer at my man and it's time for you to invest into a blow-dryer, it's gon na completely change your hair style. You can shape it any way you want. It is incredible guys. Don'T forget that I'm also going to be running a giveaway as soon as I hit a million followers on Instagram and I'm so so close. It is a daleks cost, something to be doing a huge giveaway with ten winners. So go give me a follow to answer the giveaway and now June 6, guys June 6th. We finally have the new forte series products ready for pre-order, so make sure you go check it out. Fourth, a series: calm, Lick link is in the description. Thank you guys. So much for the support I'm so pumped with how these look, how these feel and just the performance on all of these products we've been working on these for so long. Thank you for being patient. I know it's been a while and because of kovat it was even delayed a little bit so apologize, but it's coming out now and I cannot wait for you guys to try it so go check it out. Lavie Gariv: Side note on hats: make sure that you have the back of your head looking sharp, get a mirror and just shave it into shape. It makes the difference between looking like someone who doesn’t bother about styling his hair and looking like someone who puts that hat as a style choice. Also make sure that if your sides are a little bit longer and puffy, you don’t put a cap that’s too tight (most preferably, use a different type of hat)

Grow Today: Definitely needed this! I have a specific haircut in mind once quarantine is over!

Haseeb Shamsul: Growing my hair out for the second time this year, needed this video, thanks bro
