Today I'm bringing you a new video, and it's something I've not talked about before. It's one of the cheapest hair products on the market. I'm taking you through 3 ways hair gel can make your hairstyle look good! I know, hair gel!!! If you follow my 3 tips you should achieve great hair results, and smash that hair game.

If you're new here, don't forget to smash that like & subscribe button for more mens hair related content. It doesn't stop at just haircuts and tutorials, we've got product reviews, male fashion hauls, grooming advice; and even a little tech too! If it's mens lifestyle related, you'll find it here!

Hair gel you and me come on we're way too good for this newbie stuff. Am i right crispy, looking plastic feeling hairstyles we're way beyond mad, but what, if I told you that there's actually a couple tips and tricks that involve hair gel that can make your hairstyle look pretty great. This sound sounds kind of crazy stick around. Today'S episode is brought to you guys by hellofresh it's a service that lets you pick out, quality healthy recipes and it delivers the ingredients straight to your door. I'M a fan of food. Okay, anything that makes my life more simple in the kitchen gets two big thumbs up from this guy over here, so hair gel. It has a bad name for itself around these blue mom parts of town. Our community isn't really a big fan of hair gel and for good reason. I would never use hair gel the way that it's designed, because I don't like the kind of results that it gives you no hair gel is known for making your hair rock hard. Giving off this weird polished, look and feels like plastic. That'S set. I'Ve got three great uses for hair gel that won't stiffen up your hair or make it look or feel gross. It'S super cheap and accessible. It goes in super easily and it washes out super easily. So as our first way to use this stuff, it's actually a pretty decent pre styler the biggest benefit that gel has whether you like gel or not, is how easy it goes into your hair. It glides into your hair super easy with virtually no tug and pull at all. So in that sense, it's great for our sensitive haired friends out there to do this, take a small amount and multiply and apply it into damp hair. After that, simply blow-dry, like you normally would and since we're not using a lot as a pre styler, your final result won't be stiff at all. It'Ll, be super easy to move your hair around and you won't feel it either. It looks like it's like nothing's. Even there, the effect that gel has as a pre styler is very similar to a hair moon. If you've ever used, a hair mousse before it'll feel very familiar, it's very lightweight practically unnoticeable in terms of and how it feels, but still provides a good amount of volume and you'll get a matte finish. So no shine like gel usually has and to be honest to me, it's actually easier to use than a hair mousse with a hair mousse together, you spray it in your hand and then the hair mousse skips on the floor, and then you got ta clean that Up with gel just a quick little, a little rub back in your hair, blowdried you're done, but I mean you know: mousse is pretty fun to you, so I'll give it that the next way that gel can be useful is, after you've finished styling your hair after You'Ve blow-dried and applied your finishing product. You can use gel to help, lay down the sides of your hair and flatten out any sections that don't want to listen to what you're trying to get it to do since gel is wet and when first applied it works. Really well to tame those pesky bits of hair and get them to listen, get them to stay put for me with my current hairstyle, I use just a tiny dab of gel, rub it with my fingertips and gently Pat down the sides until they're laying flat or At least more flat than they were before, the gel and I'll use a bit at the back of my head because of the back likes to stick up. Sometimes, even if it's kind of noticeable when you first apply just give it like ten minutes, that'll dry down. As you can see now during my speaking bit, there's no wet bits that you can see, but my hair is dried in a in the down right position and we'll get to our third use in a second. But first I got to give some love to our awesome sponsors today from hellofresh, but simply hellofresh is a meal kits delivery service that allows you to pick out some of your favorite dishes and provides the ingredients and is simple to follow recipes. That makes it super easy to throw together some tasty dishes, even if you're not a great cook. Ok like myself. Personally, I order takeout way too often and take out and get really expensive, especially when you're ordering a burrito almost every single day. Ok, trust me with hellofresh, you choose your delivery day and every ingredient comes pre, measured and labeled, so you know which ingredients go with which dish, as I mentioned earlier with me, being a not-so-great chef, the fact that I'm giving every I need to put something delicious Together has allowed me to experiment with food that normally, I would never have even attempted the recipes take around 30 minutes to put together and your options are vary from classic to veggie options and even a family plan. If you've got a lot of people around. My personal favorite dish so far has been the steak dish. I highly recommend trying it out and you want to try hellofresh for yourself. I'Ve got a link down below you can use the code bloom on 30 for 30 dollars off your first week of tasty food and now for the third way that you can use a hair gel pretend that it's a hairspray think about it. I mean hairspray is kind of tacky, it's kind of sticky, and it's designed to keep your hairstyle in place all day. Long thing is: I'm not a big fan of hairspray, because you know similar to the way that gel is meant to be used. I feel like hair spray freezes, my hair up. It makes it it doesn't feel as nice. It feels kind of stuck. I don't like how it looks that much so I don't often use hairspray. However, once again with gel, you can take a small amount of product spread it evenly and just gently coat, the top of your hair and a bit on your fringe area as well. I find that this instantly tames any of the flyaways that I may have had any bits that are looking this way or that way the gel grabs all of these bits and just lays them down flat and, like I keep saying since we're using such a small Amount of gel it's not going to be noticeable, you don't have any shiny bits, any crispy bits any plastic-looking bits. Nothing like that. I will say that your hair might feel a little bit stickier because of the gel still not very much and to me less than if you use hairspray, but you might feel it a little bit when it comes to picking out a gel. If you want to try this either use one that you've already got in the back of your cupboard or just use a budget option, there's no such thing as a luxury gel. Okay. I picked up this vo5 mega fold, styling gel it's a couple of bucks and it does the trick just fine. At the end of the day, it's a cheap way to get some extra beneficial hair styling results. Jesus Hernandez: Bruh, I remember the good old middle school days where my hair was super stiff from using this. Now as junior in high school, I’ve learned to love more advanced great products like the BluMann mekari.

kory: Love your videos Joe! I've been watching you for a while now and since I knew about you, my hair has changed so much Thank-you for your videos!

Project Car: It would be fun to watch you try to do a whole hair routine with just hair gel

Glazdont: "Hair gel is known for making your hair rock hard, giving off this weird polished look, and making it feel like plastic. That said, I've got 3 great uses for hair gel" lmao

Gearz: thank you for the prestyler tip because i was getting tired of running out of my salt spray and my gel last so much longer and is a lot faster

Tushar: My first hair product was also a hair gel

Victor Ostrin: Already used the hair gel in the third way that you mentioned First time I did it was when I had to get out in a few minutes and the back of the head was still kinda messy

Bilxke: Any Clay suggestions? I wanted Cavalier, and I’ve heard great things about these products (by Blumaan), but I can’t justify spending $40 for them. I love in Canada, and with all the shipping costs etc. it works out to be $40. That’s a bit too much for me.

suctionx: Waiting for the legendary BluMaan haircut video. Great content and appreciable presentation as always.

Sameer Hasan: Joe the type of Andrews to get #3 on the Pete and Pedro hairstyle awards

Sabri Syahrin: Tried 1st one before and really recommend it

Saiyan: Yeah you covered everything great video! Love from India, God bless you

Aidil: Thanks for the tip man Now i subscribed, i tried it today and hell yeah my hair is more different than most of the time (i dont have a prestyler hehehe so gel it is)

I just saw your channel few days ago, I didn't watched any hair style video before but just watched your videos and Those are Really helpful I need some suggestions, my hairs not so long (3") and I like to keep them straight Now what should I do for daily basis? I just use Head & shoulder Shampoo and Conditioner, L'Oreal hair Wax. I Wax hair when Going to a Party or Hangout, Not everyday. And Yeah, if I dry my hair with blow dryer without Heat protection will my hair damage? And what you prefer for daily usage?(any Cream or Wax) One of my Friend suggested me #Pacinos. Sorry for lots of questions Thanks again ❤️

Harshal: One question Joe! Does hair gel makes your hair white, Or lowers hair's quality?

DOPE_GOD: I use set wet which also not gives glossy look to me and it is great for me.

Pier Henry: how are you so well tanned in this time of the year? could you make a video about that please :)

Adrian: Loving the new hair videos

Nick T: The gel style in the beginning actually looks good. Tames that volume a bit.

Miguel Antunes: Does using dry shampoo often damages the hair?

Alex Smith: A good hair spray is schwarzkopf got2b "glued". it sounds like it would be super sticky and gross but it's super light and just adds that little extra hold that you need if it is windy out

TheHalo3odstfan: I have fine hair.... any recommendations on which style(s) would suit me best?

John See: You deserve my subscription, you the man

SighFi | Gaming: i got my cavalier clay today i love it. new favourite it just givea my the hold i love like a loose but high hold like it feels smooth like oily but gritty high texture but clean

Kaif: Can everyone use blow dryer or it depends on age?

Odysseas Psarianos: Joe i see you are putting in a lot of effort on the tech side of your channel you already have useless sponsors that have nothing to do with the video XD.... jk Joe you know i love you <3333 hope all the tech videos do well i look forward to seeing them :)

Sam Nissen: “There’s no such thing as a high end gel” *crying inside because I remembered the gel I have was from Italy and cost $40*

Klinkikloenki Baboenski: i actually know a guy who uses gel the way it's supposed to use but somehow still has a lot of volume and good looking hair, but that's one person in the like 200 you see every single day in my school

Can you please give some advice that can I use hair mousse and hair wax together like I hope it won't damage my hair and also my hair don't grow in a particular direction.... They grow in random direction. Can you help me over this please!?

Corsi Hockey: Joe why did you use the sharp side of the knife to push the greens into the pan? Gotta use the dull side!

Sunny Goodman: Hey there Joe just wanted to say awesome video brudda, but I was in your blumaan community group on facebook , but someone has kicked me out, I don't know why, cuz I'm pretty sure I followed the rules, I thought it was a friendly, welcoming group, cuz I watch your vids n you seem like a nice person, anyways never mind, no worries! Just wanted to let you know that.

Honey: Does it work for edges

Ihsan V.: Do i blowdry with cold air or hot air?

athletefootball mel: Where can I get really good quiff in la can anyone recommend me any places

jug: great video!

Ahmed Alaaeldin: For me personally BluMaan, for good reason, I'm not a huge fan of hair gels anymore because that not my go to product. My go to products are BluMaan and Hudson & Mane. I don't like Hair Gels in North America or all over the world except for hair gels that i really like in Egypt and in the Middle East. Im Egyptian, but in there, in recent years, they've developed some of new hair products that'll keep the hair very healthy instead of being looking damaged look, gross, and too stiffy. The Hair Gel Brands in Egypt that i really like is Haircode, Man Look Expert, 2GO, and Vatika Dabur Naturals. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpbEXuyIt1mS0RCpM58Q_Nw https://yaoota.com/en-eg/product/man-look-expert-hair-styling-gel-with-keratin-and-vitamins-3-price-from-jumia-egypt http://www.vatika.ae/vatika-men-hair-care/vatika-hair-cream-gel/wet-look-wave-aloe-vera-aloevera-honey-gergir NO ALCOHOL NO RESIDUE NO CERTAIN HARMFUL CHEMICALS NO DAMAGING INGREDIENTS OR HIGH CONCENTRATION OF ALCOHOL CONTAINS NATURAL EXTRACTS, BOTANICAL AND ALOE VERA EXTRACTS

Logan Fossum: i use got2b glued for a quiff sorta thing and it works

Milo ._.: If I mix gel and water, it makes it firm but not sticky and I have thin hair so yeah.

Chonky Panda: I already use it as a prestyler

The Creed: I love you joe show me how to get thick and healthy hair❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Niche4Sure: There are luxury gels. Oribe gel and of course Hanz De Fuko all natural hair gel. Hanz De Fuko's gel is made with a sugar base! As for Oribe's ingredients well, google it. But at $58 a bottle there aren't to many that can afford it. Like me!

Grumpy whale gaming hq: Can someone help me get the best high hold product for my wavy hair that way I don’t have to blow dry it every day
