I guess i really don't know what christmas is all about: guys welcome to vlogmas day 13 baby, i'm excited for today's video. I'M going to show you guys some christmas hairstyles. You can do some quick and easy and simple christmas or holiday themed hairstyles. So before we get into it, i'm just going to straighten my hair. So i just like to section my hair using a hair tie just do small sections at a time and then for my heat protectant. I use my l'oreal paris sleek it iron straight heat spray. So i like to spray this on every section before i straighten it just to add some protection to my hair. I am still planning on taking out my sew-in extensions in the next couple days. Um, i've just kept them in a little bit longer than i initially was going to i'm probably gon na, take them out within the next couple days, they're so grown out, and i need to start removing that copper color. So that way i can get my new sewn extensions, definitely we'll be taking them out in the next couple days. Oh and i forgot to tell you guys so i am taking out my extensions, but i'm only gon na take out the top weft at first and then i'm gon na leave this bottom weft in um just for a few more days. So my husband and i are going to indianapolis to do like a little getaway just him, and i obviously you guys are coming too but um like i booked a hotel and we're gon na go on a carriage ride and we're gon na go to like a Really nice fancy dinner and i just don't want to take out all of my extensions. I would like to have at least this bottom row still in my hair, because my natural hair is so thin right now from like breakage and stuff. I just want to keep one row in until after we go um to the hotel and do all that stuff and then i'll take it out. I just don't want to feel like insecure with my natural hair and it being like really thin and not looking good. So i just want to maintain some of that thickness, so i'm just going to leave in the bottom weft i could leave in both wefts until after we get back, but i don't want to leave in both wefts. My hair is so thick right now, like i did not realize how thick my hair was going to be. If i cut it short and it is insanely thick, so i don't want to keep both wefts in there just because it's a lot of hair, so i'm just gon na take out that top one. That way, i can start working at removing the color up top and i can still maintain some of my thickness okay. So i'm just gon na continue straightening my hair off camera, and then i will come back once we're ready to explore some holiday hairstyles all right. I have my hair straightened now, i'm going to move you guys to the bigger camera. So that way, it's easier for me to do all the tutorials and i don't have to worry about holding the camera. So let me move you over to the bigger camera. Alright, now that i have you guys on my big camera, we can go ahead and start all the hairstyles, so i actually made a list of some cute hairstyles and i also purchased a bunch of cute hair accessories. So let me show you the hair accessories first and tell you where i got them so that way, if you guys want some of these hair accessories, you can go grab them. I got every single hair accessory from walmart and they were very affordable. So i got this three pack of scrunchies they're just holiday scrunchies, and it was only five dollars, so we have red green and silver. We have gold tinsel and then we have green with the berries on it. I got these cute little clips that were also five dollars. I got these other berry clips that these were also five dollars. I got these clips right here. It just says merry and bright, and this was also five dollars and then i wanted to get some like string or ribbon. So that way i could just like tie the ribbon around, but i wanted to get it in holiday colors. So i decided to get some red ribbon and some gold sparkly ribbon. They were each 1.97 for the whole entire roll. So that's really really affordable. You get so much in these little rolls. So those are the um hair items i'm working with today. I also just have like some regular ponytail holders, and then i have some hairspray and a hair brush just like normal everyday items. So the first one is super super simple, i'm just going to start with a side part also i want to mention you can do this with straight or curly, hair or wavy hair. Any of those styles would look really cute. I just decided to straighten my hair today, but curly would also be super adorable, so i'm just going to start by giving myself a side part. So i'm going to start over here just part, my hair and it's going to be kind of like a deep side. Part, obviously my hair is trained to split in the middle. I used to wear a side part when i first started youtube, but then i gradually moved it to a middle part, because i did a lot of split dye. Hairstyles and side parts are not meant for split dye hairstyles, so i'm just going to hair spray this to make it stay where i want it to, and then i'm going to tuck all this hair behind my ear and then you can take this hair right here And tease it if you want to just to give it a little bit of volume and give it some style, i use a brush or you can also use a comb. It just kind of depends on what you like just gon na push that up and then you can obviously hair spray that to make the volume stay. So then, i'm gon na take my merry and bright, and i'm just gon na slide them in my hair here. So once you have them slid in there, you can mess with them a little bit. I'M gon na take all this hair and just put it over the top of those to kind of hide the ends, and obviously you can adjust them to make them lay. However, you want to, but here is the first style just says, merry and bright, and obviously this would look so so cute with curled hair like big wavy, curled hair. I feel like that, would even enhance, like the holiday feel a little bit more. Also, if you didn't like the merry and bright - and you just wanted something a little bit more simple, you could easily take one of these clips that have the berries and the leaves on them. Basically, do the exact same thing so just slide this back and just have that sitting there. It'S a little bit more simple and easy, but it's also so cute and festive i'm gon na go back to my middle part. Now. The second style is also super easy. I'M just going to take a couple pieces of my hair on each side. I like to leave some face framing areas, but if you didn't like that, then obviously you can just add these into these sections right here, but i like to leave these out. So i'm just going to take three sections and i'm just gon na do a simple braid: it's not a french braid or anything like that. So it's very simple for people who don't know how to french braid and just know how to do like a regular one. It'S totally fine, this one's super easy, i'm just gon na secure the bottom here. So that way, this braid doesn't fall out and i'm gon na do the exact same thing. On this side, i'm gon na try to make the sections, even i'm just going to fatten up the braid a little bit pulling it out, making it a little bit looser. So now i'm going to take both of these braids and i'm just going to bring them around the back of my head, i'm going to connect them in the back of my head with a normal hair tie. So obviously, if your hair is short like mine, it's going to stick out like this, so an easy trick you can do is to go like this and tuck it in so that way it lays flat against your head. So once you have that done back there, i am just going to slide off these elastics that were holding the two braids together now that we have that bigger elastic holding it together right here, we don't need those smaller ones. So now the two braids are just connected by the bigger red ponytail holder, and you can leave it like that, because the red is festive or you can add some ribbon to it or you can also just add, like one of these there's so many different options. You can really detail it, however, you want to so here's what this looks like again, so many different options for you to do so, i'm going to go ahead and cut some ribbon and tie it on there. So here's what the front looks like and then, as you spin around you just get that detail. I love this hairstyle. It'S super quick, easy, simple and it looks so cute. It just adds that little like oomph to like a normal basic hairstyle, and it's super easy for anybody to do at home on your own, and you don't need a lot of supplies or anything. So this next style is one of my absolute favorites, like i rock this hairstyle all the time. It'S like one of my go-to's, so i'm just going to take my fingers and take a section off of this top area right here. So i'm going to take my two red ponytail holders and i'm gon na split this right down the middle into two different sections. I'M just going to tie this half out of the way for now and we're gon na focus on this side. So again, i like to leave some hair out just to frame my face. Gon na take that red, ponytail holder and i'm just gon na secure this and we're gon na do two little ponytails on the top of our heads and i'm just gon na tighten them to make them. Even so again, you can leave them just like this. They'Re still festive with the red tie on there, but i like to spruce them up even more so you can go in with the smaller berries and just clip this on here and just add those smaller berry details on there. You can also go in and add ribbon to each hair strand. That would be super super cute, just adding two ribbons right here or you could go in with the festive scrunchies and add a different scrunchie to each side. So i'm gon na go ahead and try that and see how that looks. So here are the two pigtails. This is super super cute. I love the way these look. I'M gon na try them with these bigger ones too, just to slide this under there, and then you can kind of move them around and section them. However, you want to this is also so cute. I just love this hairstyle. I feel like it's so versatile and you can do so many different things with it: okay, moving on to hairstyle number three, this one is super super easy to transition from this one to the other one. So i'm just gon na take out both of these little pigtails and i'm just gon na combine them together. This is also one of my absolute favorites to do so. We'Re just gon na do one big ponytail on the top of our head. So again you can leave it like this. If you want i'm gon na, add this big gold tinsel to it just going to wrap it around twice and there you go loud obnoxious, but very, very festive and also very cute. Another thing you can do to easily transition. This is to do a top bun like do a really messy top bun, and then you can add some of like these details in there and just like make it really big and spruce it up. So that's an easy transition from this to another hairstyle too. Another thing you can do that is similar to the last style, but also a little different is taking your hair you're, going to take a section just like you did that last time again, i like to leave hair in the front of my face. So it's very similar to the last one, but instead of putting it way up here, you're going to make the ponytail a lot lower in the back of your head, so i'll go ahead and show you that so now i have the ponytail way lower down. Here. Again, you can spruce this up. Whatever way you like to i'm going to cut some gold ribbon to add to it, i'm going to do the exact same thing i did with the red ribbon. So here is the gold ribbon tied around the hair, so another hairstyle that i am super super fond of are space buns. You can do half up space buns. So not do your whole head or you can go ahead and do your whole head. I'M going to put all of my hair up into two space buns, so for this i just split my hair straight down the middle, and i'm just going to tie this hair out of the way for now, while we work on the other side go ahead again, I like to leave some hair out along my whole entire hairline, even like in front of my ear and everything, so i just pull all of these little pieces out before i secure it now. What i like to do is just twist my ponytails and i'm gon na use these festive ones to secure it. So i just like to twist twist twist and then i like to twist this around like this. Until we start getting a like messy bun and then once we have it secured, we can start fluffing it and using bobby pins to pin down like any loose hairs. Like this, so we're going to go ahead and do this to the other side and i'm just going to use the other festive scrunchie. There are so many different ways that you can do like messy buns. This is just like the quickest and easiest way that i've found so now that we have the messy buns. You can totally leave them just like this. If you want to - or you can make them a lot bigger depending on how long your hair is, i am probably just going to leave them like this. I'M just going to use a bobby, pin and secure some of these crazy, loose pieces out here. So now that i have my space buns done, i'm just going to spruce them up. I'M going to add some of these berries in here. I'M also going to add these bigger ones in here. Also, adding ribbons in here would be super super cute. Tying a ribbon around the base right here and having like a big bow would be adorable. You can really make these super full and fluffy by just adding holiday decor in there. You could even go to dollar tree and get some of their fake flowers and cut it at the stem and just stick them in your hair and like secure it with a bobby pin. So that way, they're really full and you could have like flowers in your hair that are holiday themed. You could also transition this into a really large messy bun and again add all these little details to it. So i'm going to just add some ribbon on these to see what they look like, so i'm going to go in with the gold and the red ribbon and tie it around there. The best part of this is, you can choose whatever color you want so like. I chose red and gold ribbon, but if your theme is like silver and blue, you could go and get silver and blue like hair pieces or even just ribbon and match your outfit or match like the decor of the party you're going to so there you go. You could just add some ribbons to it and make it look cute. Okay, i have one more hairstyle for you guys, obviously there's so many other hairstyles. You could do pretty much any normal hairstyle. You can turn into a holiday hairstyle by just adding some of these. Like decor pieces into your hair - and you just make it festive, that's basically what i've done with everyday hairstyles, just adding the sparkle or the christmas colors in there really makes it feel like holiday hair. You could also just do two pigtails like this and then have like the little ribbons here, also cute okay, so this last hairstyle is a little bit more classy. I would say it's like a little bit more elegant. It'S also super super easy to do, but it just looks a little bit more classy. You could wear it if you're going to like a super special event or if you just want to wear it at home. Also i mean i'm not going anywhere. So if i was to do this, i would also just be doing it at home, so i'm just going to take all of my hair and kind of smooth it down, so you can take hairspray while you're doing this spray, your hair and kind of smooth it. I am also going to leave out face framing pieces. You guys know i got a big ass. Hey got ta leave out some of these little face framing guys, but this would also look so beautiful, just completely slicked back without leaving any hairs out. So now i'm just gon na take my two red ponytails and i'm just going to act like i'm securing a regular low pony, but on the last loop around i'm going to make it bend over so there you can see i've just created like a low bun. This is where all the accessories come in again, so i'm gon na go ahead and secure it with this big gold tinsel. So once i have that main piece on there, i'm gon na start adding all of these clips in here and i'm just gon na overload. It with holiday items, i would definitely recommend going to dollar tree and getting some holiday flowers and just placing them in your hair. I think that would be absolutely adorable, so i'm just placing some items here and if you get any hairs like this, you can always just secure them with a bobby pin or you can hair spray them down. I will probably hair spray mine down. I'M gon na go in with this bow that i used earlier. I'M gon na take a bobby pin and i'm gon na slide the bobby pin through the loop. So now this is like its own decor piece just like this, and you could just slide this in your hair anywhere. If you wanted to so i'm going to slide this into the back of my hair and then for these front pieces. I don't want them to be straight like this, so i'm just going to take my flat iron and i'm going to curl these pieces away from my face. You could also wear literally any of these hairstyles for like a new year's party and just match the decor to your dress. So i just curled these little front pieces of my hair to make it look a little bit more elegant. You can even add more hair out if you wanted to, and i think if you had longer hair these pieces would look like even more elongated and pretty. You can also add things to the sides of your head. I'M going to add this right here on this side, so there on this side, we have merry and bright on this side. We just have a little berry and then in the back it is a combination of all of these colors and you can add so much more to make it even more big and like voluptuous, if you wanted to so that is the last hairstyle i have for You this one can also be changed very easily. If you did have your hair like curly or wavy, you could just take bobby pins and take the ringlet curls and pin them all in the back when we did hair in the salon. That was like one of the most popular bridal hairstyles, it's just having ringlet curls and then taking the curls and pinning them one by one to create like this really pretty lower up do and then you can spice it up with any of these items. So there are some fun and festive holiday hairstyles that you can do at home for super easy and also very affordable. I'M gon na go ahead and put you back over to my vlogging camera now, okay, guys. So that is all for today's video. I thought it would be fun and i also thought it would be very useful.
