How Easy To Color Highlights At Home

Freehand highlights at home, tips.

Step 1: Mix 50ml Powder( in this case "Blond Studio" from L'Oréal Professional) with 75-100ml oxidant . Waiting time 45-60 min.

Step 2 : Mix semipermanent color. In this case we use 50 ml DiaLight 9:11 mixed with 75 ml 1.9% oxidant.

DiaLight 9.11 is cold ash color which is perfekt to neutralize the yellow tint which usually is coming after highlighting.

I also recommend for lighter resultat number 10.12, 10.21, or mix 9.11 with Clear(transparent).

Hi guys my name is Alex and in this video I want to show you a very easy way to make free hands. Hi lashes, as you see for this, I use a normal bottle for for add to the hair, tonic, hair tonic and I'm excited the power powder directly in the bottle. I mix it the powder from L'Oreal professional for free hands, high lashes and I mix it. One part of the powder with two parts of oxidant: I use the 12 % for this and in general, when you make three hands high lashes, are you I recommend you to use a higher percent of oxidant, because when you make high lashes in open air, it Loses the power and it's better to use nylon or 12 % for you for it and, as you see on the video I, my eyelash is only on the roof and I make it because the length is over, I D blonde and just to save the hair. In better quality, I used it only on the roof, and then we stood with the the color on the hair, I think 40 or 50 minutes and the washed it with normal shampoo. After that, we dried the hair with normal towel. As you see, the hair is too wet a little bit wet. Then we mix it the normal tunic tonic from L'Oreal professional. It was found dia, light 911, which is intensive ash in the sieve blonde, and we stood will wait only 20 minutes and after that, we just washed it wash it with shampoo and used normal bottom, and it was. It was that I think it's very easy way which everyone can do even at home, so I hope the video will help you and your experiment. So thank you very much for watching and I sorry for my bad english because i started I'm just beginner in the English, so in English. So next time will be better. Thank you very much bye. You

Jadite Gypsy: Great job, and your English is just fine!  I did my hair at home 2 days ago and it turned out awful because I used a 20 volume developer and no foils, my hair didn't turn that nice ash color that you produced.  Would you mind sharing what brands and colors you used to get her look?

Woodra Woodward-Wold: Can you be specific on the two colors and products that you used? Loved your video, thanks for sharing.

lina la mia vita: Bellissimo metodo , grazie!!

Amelia Fisher: You are one of the best sharing your knowledge and your art.

Darlene Rothenay: If you do this on your own, do not press one layer on another but try to gently lay one over the other. Otherwise the act of pressing one layer over the other with too much pressure will spread the bleach underneath. I intend to try this, but with only a few highlights around the face. Done PROPERLY this could be a time saver. However, I was a hairdresser so do have experience on my side.

She is El Wiwi ...: Lol my mom gave me highlights once with her fingers in a pair of gloves and it still turned out. She's not even a hairdresser. This method seems even easier than that, thank you!

Maria Regina Menezes: Tem como assistir esse vídeo com tradução? Obrigada.

Nicky1760jenevi: QUESTION: I have COPD so can't wear mask for extended time, thus go to salon. Grey roots on natural med/dark brown hair have grown out at least 3 inches by now. It was dyed full brown then blonde highlights were added over a year ago. If I use brown dye closest to my natural color all over, will the blonde highlights still look at least lighter brown or ...go green?

Unknown Angel: Hi! I used to be a hairstylist, and wanted to remind you that you MUST wear GLOVES to protect yourself. The chemicals you use are toxic, and in time WILL damage your internal organs. Please be careful, you are still young! Anna from the UK.

karen Bredt: Hello I have a question for you as you did a great job on her hair , can you tell me if you rinsed the bleach out before you added the color, or add the color with the bleach still in hair?? I am going to do this to my hair just don't want to mess up and loose my hair.... lol. Thank you karen , you are awesome.

Leonie Cent: You have excellent English, and I’m not just saying this to make you feel good ! What I say is true. You must not apologise. The only thing you need to work on, is your confidence. You must stop the narrative going on in your mind, that is telling you that your English is not good enough. Every time that negative thought pops in, you must say, “NO ! …. you are trying to sabotage me ! My English is excellent and it gets better every day”. There is a wise saying…. “We must not believe everything our mind tells us”. ! Please be happy, and take care…

fernanda jacobi: Your English is great. Love your accent. Great technique. Thank you so much

Оля Матвеев: Супер

Emi Vas: EspectaculAr!!☺☺

Rahi Shah: which colour have u used ?

xanadu xanadu: I tried to do highlights in this manner and was very careful but the strands 'ran' when I placed the hair down over a highlighted row. And it was a terrible mess. Colored hair strands are very tangly when the coloring product is on and hair around it is hard to comb evenly .. Just saying this was my experience and it may not be yours but it cost me hundreds to fix. This to me is a pretty iffy procedure.

Atinev: I would love to hear if anyone actually tried this at home and if it worked. There are 1 or 2 comments where it did not turn out good.

Constance Mills: Doesn't it bleed and cause red hair?

Hesham Waqas: so nice

Jess Luc-Fl. US: Excellent.. ❤

Angela Rohr: You waste a TON of product this way. And as you can see, you get a very minimal result. The brush on method, even during hair painting free hand, is used to coat and saturate the strands so that the lightener actually penetrates the hair. All hair has natural oils which repel moisture. That is why you see the product beading and sitting atop the hair strand instead of soaking in as it would have done with a liquid hydrogen peroxide mix. If you are going to do this bottle nonsense, at least do yourself a favor and don’t get the cream developer. Ugh.

Martha: Beautiful

Diane Jordan: Awe u did good, Thank u for sharing.
