Hi, i'm Redken brand ambassador Sylvia Reese and today we're gon na be doing a color correction on my client here. As you can see, she has a lot of red and kind of pinkish tones in her hair, and we are gon na be using the brand new red can flash lift with the bonder inside. This is absolutely genius and I press, I think it's the future for Leitner's, I'm going ahead and mixing two ounces of the lightener, with two ounces of the 30 volume and now we're ready to apply so I'm starting the first section in the back by teasing the Root and doing back-to-back foils really making sure to saturate the hair so that we have even lifting moving into the crown area. I start mixing some baby lights and highlights for some added dimension at the root and then continuing that same pattern through the sides of the head and the top, of course, not forgetting those beautiful money pieces in the front. And for these I painted all the way to the route for the in between a brute color. I went in with shades eq because I only wanted to deposit color and really to just soften that line of demarcation from her previous color for the roots, I'm going to be using a mixture of the shades eq o 8m and 6n, and i apply that all Over blending it into the t's section meeting with the lightener pieces in the foils, now I'm going to let it all process for about another 20 minutes, and then we are ready to rinse and start on the corrective toners. So I knew here I wanted to do another process with the lightener it had already lifted as much as it was going to lift with this session for the time that it had been sitting on the hair and I'm gon na do a quick session just here At the bowl and because the lightener contains the bonder inside, we can assure that the hair will be left healthy and no breakage or damage is going to occur in us doing this. It'S now, starting in the sections that have the most unwanted pigment still in the hair and working my way to the ends. So now we're going to start mixing the corrective toners. So for the first formula, I'm going to be using a mix of 6n, a and 7n shades eq or s --, mixing that with the processing solution. For the second time, I'm going to be using a mix of 9n and a 10 first, we're gon na be toning. That area, where the root meets the blonde, especially in the areas that still have a warmth which I'm trying to combat here with the six and eight mixture that has a lot of cool tones. And I know that I'm gon na have to balance those cool tones with a little bit of gold, but I like doing those separately, so I can have full control of how much ash I deposit and then how much gold I deposit. Depending on how long I leave each toner on for and to that same section, I'm just adding the 7g, it's gon na balance out those ashy tones and leave us with a beautiful balanced of the one and now for the all-over toner. We are going to be using that a10 n9n mixture and now I'm just applying that all over the hair and as you can see here, the hair looks healthy and strong and a beautiful dimensional blonde. And this, of course, would be impossible without using a high-quality bleach and one especially with a bonder treatment inside then we were just doing a quick trim and then a blowout to finish the look - and we are all done -

Alice Moral Denis: You’re amazing, both as an individual and a colorist/stylist. Keep doing you!

princess32cb: Hey girl hey!! I know this video is really old but I love all of your videos. You’ve saved me so many times from hair disasters. So yesterday I did this. But before I did it I highlighted with bleach on my hair with a bleach no ammonia(hair wasn’t that dark) and volume 30 devoloper with ion perfect perfector(Olaplex dupe). It came out yellow in some spots and orangish in others. I went back in and painted a few pieces with bleach again that I felt I missed. Then I toned it with Wella t14 which is a ash and left it on for 20 mins. Some came out looking good some came out purple/grey.. the pieces that were really blonde turned purple grey. So I then made a homemade clarifying shampoo and wash the purple/grey with it and then chelated those parts too. Most of it is gone.. it still has a grayish full look to it in some spots and now my blonde isn’t buttery like I want! I went ahead and did this technique in the video with a 6g which pulled a lot of brass but is a pretty color.. just a little too brassy and I feel some pieces might even look a little blue now!? Because they were freshly bleached

Tara Tillman: Celebrities need to hear about you! As with all talent, you make beautiful work look easy and effortless, a true professional artist ❤

Lyndsay Allen: Really great job. Been a stylist for 17 years. Really fun approach to get that look. Very nice.

Sonia Rodriguez: Elle, I wrote you in another video asking for advice. Seeing this video , I can show you how my hair was looking when I bleached my dark brown hair. It was pulling hot pink and blond. Before the brown I had used splat, a semi permanent wash out red color. Sadly the color never faded. Maybe because the first time I used two boxes then did another box month later. I didn't wanna lose the color so I never let it fade out ....I did a baking soda dandruff shampoo peroxide mixture I saw on utube to remove it and that really fried my hair. I thought it wasn't that bad but when I went to the salon and asked them to help me go blond , the stylist refused to do that and suggested I go like a med to dark brown ..dark enough to cover the red but not too dark to be able to lighten later. I've grown impatient and tried to do my hair on my own. I was going for a baylage or ombre. When I bleached some pieces they pulled pink. I have since made a vitamin c and shampoo mask and I think it removed some pink but it's still there. What can I do to stop pulling pink because now I want to add a few high lights ?

Lynn Rose: Hi Sylvia, You can really tell how much you enjoy what you do. You did an amazing job.

I am cutting and coloring my own hair for 11 years but as reached way over 40, decided to wanna be blonde, and I am Okay doing it at the first time every year, but then keeping it up somehow always messes up the color and start becoming orange. Can you give personal advice what product to buy and use on dark #2( getting gray )brown hair? I liked on your other video how you showed to bleach only every 4 months, how can I do that?

groovyfaroutofsightneato67: Hi Silvia- I have a question regarding hair repair. So I bleached my hair at home (total mistake I know) and I have dyed it back to a dark color. I really wish I could turn back the clock, I have used some deep conditioners daily but I know it is a difficult task to get back to that silky soft hair I once had! And it really was so soft and silky! It's not Horribly bad now, considering I did at home and a few times. But do you have tips and advice for this problem? I know people rave about olaplex 3 and I want to try it out but it is pricy. I want to rid the frizz, dryness and regain the heavy healthy feeling of silky hair!!thanks!!

I did the Flash Lift, Shades EQ 9P, it's way to ashy but it did get rid of the red in the back low under the crown. But, now I've blended the highlights almost away and zero shine... What should I do keep in mind I'm home.. Thanks great videos Elle

"what is toner?"
