These are the mixing instructions for adding olaplex number one bond multiplier to color. First measure the color and developer / manufacturers instruction then mix thoroughly for 2 ounces of color. Add 1/16 of an ounce of olaplex number 1 for anything less than 2 ounces. Add 1/32 of an ounce of number 1 olaplex is compatible with all color lines, including semi demi-permanent direct high lift glosses toners and oil delivery systems.

Binky Melnik: Hi, Olaplex. Just double-checking. You say “Use 1/16 oz of Olaplex per 2 oz of hair color.” Home hair color typically comes with 2 oz of color and 2 oz of developer, so use ⅛ of an oz of Olaplex for that particular combination. Correct? (I’m usually annoyed when I see people asking obvious questions which are answered in whatever they’re posting to, yet here I am doing it, dammit. I wanna make sure my hair color comes out correctly so I needn’t do it a second time.) Thanks! And while I have you here: thanks ever so much for changing my [hair] life! Between discovering cleansing conditioner three years ago and Olaplex, my hair hasn’t been this healthy since I was 16! I only wish Olaplex had been discovered sooner, but I’ll be forever grateful that it was developed at all. You folks rock (and make the people at Living Proof look like amateurs!). (I’ll bet they’re so envious, they have sleepless nights. ☺️)

María a.: hi, when do you use olaplex nº2? when you are diying your hair?

Trigger Happy: im scared to mix additives with hair color. i did that once and had an allergic reaction. i just stick to olaplex 3 , hair color is dangerous enough without the additives

Grace A: that is too much olaplex, i notice when you put that much it weakens the color so for me i put less even in bleach because less is better and it will still do the job.

saharstar: Should you leave the color on for longer than original application? Since the product is repairing bonds being simultaneously broken?

Maria Robinson-Mera: For two oz of color, it's 1/8 of an ounce. it's 1/16 for anything less than 2 oz. Should've read up in Olaplex before doing this video.

Alifa Noor Ameilia: How about bleaching?

Dayanera21: I thought it was Olaplex #2 that was added to the hair color mixture to prevent damage while using a high lift color. Which one would it be please?

Dexter Cabading: I wish I can have one I wanna try this but its too expensive here in the Philippines, I hope you habe a free sample thank you in advance...

Summerangel Martinez: Wait i dont see number 1 on the website??? Were can i buy it?

Nour Hegazy: i cant find no. 1 & 2 on your site. where can i get them?

Inna Yan: 1/16 oz is actually 1.77ml.

M a: Where can find the current mixing directions on your website

Frd Reiss: No 0 and no 1 is the same thing just less concentrate so we can add no 0 as well? TIA

MJ Kessler: That was barely mixed
