Hey guys, it's a zilean and in today's video we are changing my hair. So basically, an event came up that I have to go to this weekend and it's currently Thursday night like really late at night, and I have an event Saturday morning that I have to go to, and I really don't want this hair color. For that event, I really want my blonde hair back, so I can wear my extensions because my extensions don't currently match my hair color right now. So basically, I have washed of this hair one time and then I went swimming today and, as you guys can see, it's faded quite a bit. So I'm gon na try and get my hair back to white tonight. I don't think it'll be too hard, because this is such a pastel shade and you can see my blonde peeking back through, so I don't think it's gon na. Be that hard. Sorry I was disgusting like I said this is rushed and very last-minute, so I didn't want to do my makeup or anything like that, because I'm just honestly trying to get it done, but I still want to record it for you guys that way, you guys can See exactly what I'm doing to remove this color or if you have a similar, color and you're trying to remove it. I wanted to show you guys what I'm doing to get it back to white. So basically, I have several options of what I can do to try and remove the color. I thought about doing a vitamin C treatment, but I know that I'd probably have to do that quite a few times in order for it to work, and then I have the baking soda method with ten-volume, which also would work. I was worried about it. Changing the color to like the funky color like green or something crazy, so I didn't want to chance it at all, and also I didn't know if it would work and one go for this. So I think I'm gon na be doing like a very, very, very, very mild bleach wash my hair is still very damaged and honestly, since I've been swimming all the time, I think it's really starting to take a toll on my hair. So I've cut down on swimming a lot and I'm gon na try and not swim as much because damaging my hair, and I could feel my hair texture changing as I'm swimming more and more so man try and not swim as often so we're gon na be Doing a mild bleach wash today on my hair, the only thing that I'm concerned about with doing this method is how much growth I have. I have a lot of roots. I decided I was not going to bleach my hair this summer to kind of give it a break and recuperate. So I have not bleached my roots all summer, I'll, probably bleach them like the beginning of winter. So this is what we're working with and if you guys don't know, if you put bleach wash on your roots, your hair is going to lift to like an ugly color. So I'm gon na have to try and avoid my roots during this process. So it's gon na be tricky. If I already do the vitamin C method, I could literally just like get it all over my hair and I wouldn't be a problem, but since I'm doing a mout bleach, wash yeah, I'm gon na have to be careful and not put it on my roots. Another reason I wanted to do the bleach wash is because I know that it'll remove this color in like 0.5 seconds and it'll. Take me straight back to that blonde. I won't have to worry about any weird tome showing up or changing my hair different colors it'll. Just take me right back to that blonde and probably 5 minutes or less. So that's what we're gon na be doing today, I'm gon na go ahead and grab all of my mixture that I'm going to be using and show you guys how I mix up a bleach wash. So the ingredients that I put in my bleach wash is water. Shampoo bleach powder and some developer, so I'm gon na start off with my bleach powder and for that I'm just using short scoff blonde me, so I'm just putting 3/4 of the scoop into this bowl. The next thing I add in is developer, so I'm using 20 volume. I would use 10 volume, but I don't currently have any with me, so I'm just gon na be using my 20 volume, and this is also the Schwarzkopf blonde me dedicated developer and I don't measure this out. I just eyeball it because it's a bleach wash so the ratios, in my opinion, don't matter because it's gon na be so diluted anyway. So I'm just going to squirt some in there see that's good. I'M gon na go ahead and mix this and see what the consistency is and then add my shampoo and my water. So this is the consistency of my bleach. I'M gon na go ahead and add the rest of my ingredients. I'M going to add this dandruff shampoo. I got this at Dollar Tree. It'S just a cheap dandruff shampoo, so I'm just gon na add some of that in there and then I just have some tap water, I'm gon na add in there. So I'm just going to double this mixture, because I know I'm going to need more than what I mixed up. I'M just gon na double it real, quick and then I'll be back. Ok, so the tricky part now is going to be just applying this on my ends and not getting it on my regrowth, because that's gon na be a whole disaster and it's gon na turn into a whole different video. If I get this on my roots, keema do call me okay guys, so I just ran into the bathroom real, quick and grabbed a mirror and looked at the back of my head to make sure that I didn't miss any spots and there weren't still any purple Spots back there and there was a few, so I'm glad I ran a check, so I just put a little bit of the lightener mixture on those spots that were purple and then came back in here to show you guys how everything looks so it is applied And this is already, as you can see extremely light. The whole mixture has been on maybe five minutes, so I'm gon na go ahead and go hop in the shower because it's obviously all the colors out. So I'm gon na go ahead and hop in the shower. I'M gon na use purple shampoo, two or three times, because I don't have a toner with me. Unfortunately, so I am going to use a purple shampoo, probably at least two times so I will see you guys on a different day when my hair is styled. So you guys can see what the finished product is. Probably tomorrow or the next day. I will see you guys on a different day. Bye, okay, guys, so here is how my hair turned out. I actually did wash it three times with purple shampoo, and then yesterday I went to a water park, and so any of the shampoo or toner that I had in my hair is gone. So basically, this is just what it looks like after removing the color. This is exactly what it looks like. I don't have any purple shampoo or anything in this. It'S just a very, very, very, like white pale blonde. If I use purple shampoo, it's gon na make it like a really pretty silvery. I see white right now. It'S like just like a straight platinum: it has no cool tones in it. It'S just very platinum and very like on the warmer side of blonde versus. If I were to use purple shampoo, it would be on the cooler side of blonde. So this is how everything turned out. It looks fine like this, but next time I wash it, I will use purple shampoo just to counteract some of the yellow tones in it. That is all I have for today's video guys give the video a thumbs up. I had purple hair similar to what you started with, and I used this mixture, and as soon as I was done applying it, all the color had lifted and I washed it out and was back to my normal blonde highlights. Diana Wylie: I did the bleach wash without any dish soap & I used olaplex shampoo instead of dandruff shampoo, 20 volume developer, and a creme bleach! It worked like a dream :) also had some vitamin e oil and coconut oil in my hair all day and kept it in when I did the bleach wash so I think that might have helped too. My hair looks and feels so goood thank you for the tips

HannahAnn Francine: If you wet your hair with shower water before you swim that will help significantly because it will hold that water in your hair instead of the chlorine water. It helps with the dryness and damage it a lot less. Do you use a swim cap? That has helped me a lot with my hair

Nocturnal: Swimming in chlorine/washing your hair with well water causes a buildup on the hair. A clarifying shampoo like once a week or so will help with that

SavEspii Says: Question, I followed this and also bleached my 1 ½inch roots. I ran out of lightener and ended up really stretching the bleach bath. Well I now have some purple spots that didn't quite lift all the way mixed in with my blonde lol. When I do my roots again for a touch up, would taking some diluted bleach (bleach bath again) on those spots be okay to lift it? Does that mean those spots will need toner again as well? Ayla Zelana Grebiel: I’ve been swimming for a very long time from a salt water pool in Florida to being on a swim team, then I was Captain on a Synchronized Swimming team then as a club. My natural is ginger, but I like to color it to look like Ariel lol. My tricks for preventing damage and protecting color: Sulfate and Paraben free(I’m also super allergic!) shampoo and conditioner, it’s made my hair grow faster/stronger/healthier. Before I go to swim, when showering I wet my hair was lukewarm water then I just cover it in conditioner making sure it’s saturated. Then I still wear a cap to protect it. Then after swimming I use Ion Swimmers Shampoo and Heavy moisture conditioner. Then I use either Moroccan oil and work it through or Shea Moisture Silicone Free Non-Breakage treatment. I hope this helps, this is just what worked for me and I hope that anyone finds it useful:) ❤️❤️

I wanna do the bleach wash but I am scared that It might cause a lot of damage. My hair is not super damaged but also it's not in the best form of it. Now I have a question, will it only lift the blue/green or will it also lighten the blond to a lighter shade? My bleached hair was almost a level 8/9 but with a bit of yellow undertones. FJ: Try Swimmers shampoo & conditioner from Malibu. It helps protects your hair from color fading and any damage from chlorine.
