#ColorRemover

Hey guys, it's a sling, so I'm on my vlogging camera, because I honestly don't feel like hooking up my audio and worrying about my camera and all that stuff and getting it adjusted. I am going to start removing my hair color, so I have only washed it. One time since I did the neon pigments and with the dye, and it definitely refreshed it as you guys can see it looks fine. I actually think it's cute the way it is right now, but I just feel like I need to start the process of stripping out the color so that way, when March comes around and it's time for me to replete and dye, my hair, my ends are white And back to blonds that way, I don't have to worry about hurrying and stripping out the color in a harsh way. So I'm trying to do this gradually and gently on my hair. I have purchased so many color removers to try I'm very excited about it. Normally, I would just do the baking soda method or I would do a vitamin C treatment to strip out the color both of those work amazing - and I know that they work and they're my go-to to just strip off the color and it's so easy. But for the sake of you guys, I really wanted to branch out and try different color removers out there that are like not professional but that are actual color removers and not some like janky homemade stuff. I purchased three different kinds of the Malibu color removers. I got the DDL, the CPR and then color fix. I have actually already tried the color fix one and it really did nothing to my hair. There are so many color removers out there, and because I am still trying to give my hair break and be gentle on my hair. I am trying the color removers that you don't need developer for or that are not bleach based. Color movers like joy, hose bleach-based and most color removers, I feel like, are so I'm trying to use color removers that you just add water to today we're going to be trying the Malibu CPR. So let me just read to you a little bit about this. I'Ve. Never used this before, I'm very, I don't think it's gon na do anything honestly. I really don't think it's gon na do anything because the last Malibu treatment I used didn't really do anything. So this says color pigment remover for professional colourists. I did purchase this at a store where you have to have a license. I'M sure you could find it online, though, removes metallic. Minerals may remove one to three levels: color will not read: Arkin, no lifting of natural hair pigment superior on home, hair, color and parentheses. No harsh odor, so the directions say, fill applicator bottle with four ounces of water room temperature. Then slowly add the crystals shake to dissolve forming a gel shampoo hair rinse work gel into hair desiring color removal using maximum pressure of palms and fingertips to ensure saturation plaque. Professional processing cap and exposed to heat for 15 minutes to 45 minutes remove from heat, then rinse and shampoo thoroughly three times. I'M just gon na get my hair damp with a water bottle. Alright, so let's go ahead and mix this up. No funky odor, my ass vinegar, oh god, I got chills. I hate it. I hate it. No harsh odor, oh my god. I hate the smell vinegar. So much I don't know if I can do this. Okay, okay! Now this is mixed with water. It does not smell like vinegar, here's what we got. I feel like it's not gon na do anything. I really hope that I'm 100 % wrong. It'S very chunky. I really don't think this is good work, yeah, judgmental or anything, but I just don't understand how this would work. I should read the ingredients on it and see. What'S in it, watch is like vitamin C crushed up vitamin C and vinegar. Can you imagine stink? You don't like it sometimes when I do hair videos, I don't want to set up and have like a professional setting. I kind of just want to you know: do my hair and chill I don't want to have to worry about it being like a whole production type stuff. So I mean sometimes when I'm doing hair videos if they're low key, like this - I'm probably just gon na start using my vlogging camera, because it's way easier for me. Sometimes I don't even know if I should film me doing stuff like this, because I really don't think it's gon na work, and so I just feel like it's pointless to even film it, but then like know, I need to film it because I'm sure people want To know if this stuff works and there's not that many videos out there on this stuff, so I need to be the one to put the videos out there to let people know if it does work or not ya know, and so it makes me more inclined To want to film it if I can just pick up my blocking camera - and I don't have to worry about getting my mic set up in my computer hooked up to my mic - just know that in the future, I'll probably do more videos or I'm just on My blogging camera and I'm just where I'm in my bathroom or something lately when I've been doing my makeup, I literally have only been doing winged eyeliner my eye brows and lashes, and then I just wan na like Carmex or lip gloss on my lip injection vlog. You guys were so sweet and like kept telling me that I was so pretty for some reason that I was like extra pretty in that vlog literally, I was wearing the least amount of makeup and it was like mostly just me being natural, and you guys were So sweet and I really appreciated it, because I also feel very pretty when I don't have a lot of makeup on when it's just like lashes, liner and eyebrows, and it also like lets my skin breathe. So I don't have to worry about clogging my pores and stuff. Alright, I used all of the mixture. It'S all and I feel like I did saturate my hair. I think I might go through it with a brush just to make sure it's really really saturated and everything's covered evenly. My hair is also getting so long like do you guys see this? Who is she? My hair is so long, I'm very excited about it. I, like barely ever wear extensions anymore because I just feel so comfortable with my natural hair. I just have this like electrical heating pad that you plug in, and I just drape this over my head like this and then I will take a towel and put it over the top of it and just sit here and watch YouTube for a while and chill. So that's what I'm gon na do. I'M gon na leave this on 30 to 45 minutes hop in the shower wash my hair with dandruff shampoo three times. That'S what it says on the instructions and then I will be back so here is how it turned out. What do you guys think I mean I definitely removed some of the pigment. It'S definitely more faded I feel like than it was when I took the shower cap off and started rinsing it in the shower. The water was like very dark, like a brownish swamp color. So that tells me that it did pull on to the color out my hair smelled, like chlorine for some reason, and also my hair was so dry. You guys, I did not expect my hair to feel that dry when using something that doesn't have developer in it. It'S literally just water, with the crystals, my hair felt so dry, even after using a deep conditioning treatment in the shower. When I got out it was hard to get a brush through my hair, and my hair was just so dry. It wasn't damaged if I would have used a DDL with a developer. My hair have been more chemically damaged right now. It'S just dry, it's kind of similar to doing the vitamin C method where your hair gets dried out, but it's not necessarily damage like chemically damaged. So, as we can see, this whole chunk right here is now like blonde on both sides. I it did a pretty good job at removing the red in the front I will say, and this hair color that's in my hair is Leonard tides. This stains your hair. So hard guys, it's really really good at not fading. So if you want a hair color for a very long time, trial inter tides, because that will not come out of your hair and this side is very, very dark purple and this side isn't as purple as eyesight is and, as you can see like half like Right here is pink and this is dark. I probably wouldn't do it again, just because it didn't fade, my hair, that much and my hair felt so dry, so I would not do it again. I would rather do the vitamin C method like two or three times than to do this once because the vitamin C method doesn't make. My hair is dry as listed, and I actually feel like the vitamin C method, pulls more color out of your hair than this. Does I think it's very interesting that the first two colors to fade out of my hair are the green and blue and yellow when those three colors are the absolute hardest to get out of your hair, blue, green and yellow they're like impossible to get out of Your hair they're, the worst they're worse than orange, they're, worse than red. They are the devil and they came out of my hair at first and now we have purple which, in my opinion, is the easiest to get out of your hair and red and orange are like so easy to get out of your hair, and those are the Only colors that are left, which makes it easier for me in the future, because when I use a color remover that you have to put developer in, I know that these colors are gon na come out very easily. That is all for today's guys. I hope you enjoyed it. I have a lot of future haircolor remover videos coming so make sure to hit that subscribe button. If you want to see any of those videos in the future, don't forget to check out my Instagram. The link to that is in the description down below i post way more of my day-to-day life on there give the video a thumbs up. If you enjoyed it, I love you guys so much and until next time guys stay weird, go bye.

jojo x93x: To be fair, I’d happily deal with the vinegar smell over the eggy fart smell from other colour removers

Michayla Nicole: I’m a licensed stylist and you have to try the matrix cult eraser! It’s meant to pull out vivids. And you can use it with water or developer ☺️ I swear by it!

Jacquelyn Adkins: Fact: CPR is for oxidative colors (color you mix with a developer) DDL is for non-oxidative colors (colors you put on straight from the tube or jar

Erin Blaine: I would give that DDL packet a go because that one is specially made for the direct dyes, such as the one on your hair. The CPR is great for oxidative dyes that you mix with developer and I’m wondering if that’s why it didn’t remove as much as you wanted. I had burgundy direct dye on my ends with level 4 dye on my mid shaft and roots and when I used CPR on my whole head it only took out the dark brown dye and left the purple! eventually I used the DDL and it completely removed the purple for me. I would say it’s worth a try! And the DDL you can mix with developer instead of water for better results

LiveLaughLizzy: For Malibu CPR you always start with CPR even when you're removing the direct dye than go to ddl but you have to use their undogoo first which has a very high pH before doing cpr. Than cpr water 45 minutes under dryer wash 3 times with undo goo use a deep conditioner.

Michelle: I love love love Malibu CPR, though I find it works a lot better on permanent box dyes than my semi permanent dyes. It completely stripped a box color in jet black I had used! This is such a hard product for me to find though :( I last bought a 5 pack from amazon but it's not easy finding sellers for this particular malibu product. Their undo goo clarifying shampoo is also really bomb

Just Jacky: I havent been wearing makeup, but I saw your video on the piercing and I noticed how you did look absolutely gorgeous in only brows, eyeliner, and lashes done, so I decided to do the same the next day because its minimal, my skin breathes, but I still looked a bit done up and I absolutely loved it! I got so many compliments on how pretty my makeup looked! Thanks for the inspiration girl! And I look forward to using this color remover on my blue hair when the time comes !

Maggie Schuerman: I really love this stuff for removing demi-permanent reds! I usually keep a few around the salon for those clients that go red/copper and regret it in a month or two lol.

savanna payne: Your skin looks amazing! Light makeup or full glam you look beautiful either way girl

April Cline: I've always always had the worst time getting purple out of my hair, very interesting how different everyone's hair is.

Betty Louis: The Malibu treatments also pull out mineral, copper, product, and chlorine build up, I like to do it before toning someone who’s resistant to color because it opens the hair up but that’s why it feels so drying, it removes everything from the hair. Really good for build up!

Keyla Lopez: Your hair always looks good even when faded

Tami Elisabeth: Malibu DDL didnt do much to remove pravana purple from my hair, even with the peroxide. Neither did vitamin c. But baking soda worked like a charm!

Blu Fox: Baking soda actually increases the pH of the hair so much that it forces the cuticle to open (the outer layer of the hair strand) I'd advice against using baking soda on already bleached hair. Vitamin C lowers the pH and still works kind of the same way but it's less harsh especially because bleach is already alkaline

Brittany Alatorre: I really want to say thank you for making your videos it really helps specially in moments like now where I’m grieving the loss of my old little doggie who just passed away a few hours ago it’s a real help a distraction from reality and I enjoy all of your videos I appreciate your time and effort thank you for doing what you do. ❤️

Marissa Pence: I’m a licensed stylist who uses Malibu products regularly. First, you need to use it with Malibu Undo Goo shampoo. Then you probably needed to use more than one packet of CPR to better saturate your hair with the remover. Then you need the actual Malibu Undo Goo Shampoo again bc it has a specific ph level that works with CPR. Then you would have done the replenish Malibu conditioner to put moisture back in. This was not used properly which is why you got the results you did.

lelalu101: Color fix is for oxidative color that went to dark within the first 24hrs, CPR is for oxidative color and it removes mineral build up too. DDL is for direct dyes and can lift natural. I would recommend a color bottle for application and definitely recommend the dedicated shampoo undoo goo I work in the industry and that's what we recommend them for. Used CPR to remove old toners today

Milla Elliott: You should try the scruples color remover!!!!! It is soooo good and leaves minimal damage. Also the Malibu ddl is the best one for your hair because you have direct dyes in your hair!! The Malibu cpr is for oxidative dyes not direct dyes!

Nuvia Chahin: Aislinn, I’ve learned so much from your videos! Come do my hair here in Miami Can’t wait to see how far you’ll make it

Autumn Stillman: As a professional colorist- I love this stuff. It is my go to!!!!

Liz Kerr: Your brows are such goals and I've been wishing you'd do a tutorial cause I am so bad at it and I have serious envyyyyyy!

Brenda González Anaya: Yaaaaaaas! I love this videos, I'm looking for a color remover and I think I'll try the BTZ color remover. You look beautiful with or without makeup, love from Mexico!

Jessica Walker: I did this a couple days ago with my hair with the Ion color remover from Sally's. Same concept, 4oz water add the shit and mix. Super SUPER goopey with chunks that wouldn't dissolve but made it very easy to apply. I have very faded permanent purple/red dark brown color in my hair and cut off like 8in just to get it all the same length with my (what was) undercut. I kept it on for 30min, 15 with heat the other without. Lemme tell you my hair was drier than the Sahara desert... I put a mix of two deep conditioners on for another 30min and it helped alot. When my hair dried and I saw that it only removed color on the ends of the top layer of my hair. I have like 3in of new growth (lvl 7n), a coppery ass 3in band then my wonderful lvl 9 golden ends with FUCKIN GREEN TIPS ONLY ON THE TOP LAYER OF MY HAIR. The under layers of my hair are like a dark copper and my actual undercut is purple still. All I gotta ask is how do I get the ashy green out that came from nowhere?

NYTE FRYTE: I love your channel and the effort. I love that your trying the ones without bleach because I want to know which work too :)

Rita Bazzan: I love all your content so I watch it all even though I’ve recently just dyed my hair rainbow and the last thing I plan on doing is removing the color!

dallasinkfitness 2020: I use ION hair color remover from Sally's, it works great and it's not damaging, I've used 3 packets in one day when I did my hair Elmo red and hated it. I heat my hair for 10-15 minutes with hair dryer then wrap a towel around it with a cap for an hour. It's great! I use it on all my fashion colors.

chrystal hope: OMG I'VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT USING A HEATING PAD ON MY HAIR. AWESOME!

M.Janski: Already curious to see what the direct dye lift does on your hair.

Tessa Castro: I prefer the low key videos b/c you always keep it on a real level. The heating pad lol! You're killing me I've gotta try that! Your hair's looking really healthy & I was wonderingis there a specific shampoo/conditioner you use or suggest. I've been using Matrix for color-treated hair & deep conditioning. It's okay. I'm definitely trying out Lunar Tides the next time I do semi-permanent.

LauKilam: Aislin: lunar tides does a very good job at staining your hair Me sitting with blue lunar tides hairdye on my head: oh shit

Winter Green: Malibu does work but you also have to realize it is clay-based anything with clay will be extra drying as it soaks up oils and moisture. This was the only product I used when working in the salon/ (Regis). For fashion colors, I recommend using the DDL I literally only have to use 4 packets on my hair in 2 sittings to get my fashions gone however the DDL will lift natural color and act more like bleach even though it is just the clay base I use a 30 vol off scalp 20 vol on the roots and it always does the trick for me.

Sofe: your videos always safe my day! you are gorgeous <3

strawberrypiano21: I'm literally using this tonight on my arctic fox blue - turned - green dyed hair. Glad it looks like it'll work!

Я Там: Aislinn!!! Have you tried Katie Sapiersky direct dye removing method??? It amazingly removed my purple and blue after one attempt!!! Even for such fine and thin hair as mine!!

Davie Woodard: Undo goo is necessary to start the process before hand. It helps raise the cuticle of the hair so that the cpr can go in and do the job that it’s needed. I usually do the full 45 min. (To remove minerals and color, that’s why it smelled like chlorine is because it was removing mineral buildup as well) Then afterwards you have to scrub your hair super hard using undoogoo. It has the highest ph on the market.

lenaaaasasquatch: I’ve had blue hair for like 8 years and I feel like putting another color in my hair but I doubt there’s anything strong enough to get the blue out

Sky Kelley: I used the ion color remover it took out blue! The purple in my hair stuck in some places tho. It smells but didn’t hurt my hair

aarockw123: I kinda like the color you got going on by the end of the video. It’s a very psychedelic look. I dig

Emily Rhea: I dont see a problem with your videos using this cam, i still like it just as much! Keep using it if it makes your life easier

Lynnel Ava: Have you tried beyond the zone color remover? Works wonders. But I use 10 vol developer. You can use water too.

Adrienne Portier: Cpr should be used with permanent colors and ddl is for direct dyes :)

Athena N Wonderland: I really enjoy all your video's which ever camera you use. I love the way you do your makeup! I think you look beautiful whichever day and video you post. You seem like a very genuine person! Have a wonderful night!

Brittnay Warfel: DDL is better it’s specifically for DIRECT DYE

Emily Caron: I did a bleach bath yesterday on my pastel purple colour from arctic fox.... i’ve never seen colour come out of hair so quickly in my life. i use one part bleach to two parts developer and shampoo!!! highly recommend, there was LITTLE to NO damage, my hair is just a little bit dry. *does lighten roots though so be careful!*

Jordan Caleb: Livin for this style

laneyシ: i used vitamin c before though when i box dyed my hair too dark and i was freaking out but it worked perfectly

Jordynn Jehl: I do love the simply lashes and mascara. Love it!

Diana Rangel: cpr removes a lot better if you physically scrub the pigment out, and then go under heat with a cap. also, you can use 10v instead of water just to get that extra bump

Jennycid3: Would u recommend for getting like browm box dye from grey hair ? My mom finnally is going natural but she wants to remove the brown she added so I'm searching for options without ruining her hair big time lol

Mothermetalhead: Hair videos are always good (:

Karyn Jensen: Yes please keep doing these videos cuz I'm right in the middle of doing the same thing and I want to see if it works for you

Manda Panda: There are steps to cpr, not just slap it on. I had level 5 red on my blonde hair and did the 3 steps to get it out .. and it came right out.

Nik_holy Glow: You’re beautiful no matter what you look like You’re gorgeous even your personality is beautiful ❤️

Kelly Brown: Love your eye makeup. Can you do a video showing how to do it and colors used?

Miso Tofu: Does anyone know which competitive brands strips out dark hair box dye ?

Megan G: I'm a stylist and I have used malibu cpr on a light blue and it completely took it out back to blonde on my client. I have it on my black hair as we speak praying it works

Angel Faith: I used "colour off" by punky color to remove orange from my hair and my hair broke off in multiple places, that shit had bleach in it.

Jo Martin: I just bleach wash if I wanna change my colour, I don’t have the patience for trying a whole bunch of stuff. Staying purple for now though. Did you ditch your labret? Also vlogging camera is just fine, the audio is still great

Princess Nayru: Meanwhile I bleach my hair two times in one year and now they are apparently so damaged, that out of a burgundy hairdye they took all the blue particles and I'm stuck with light blue hair now (:

Tina Knight: I used surya henna on my hair for years and then I tried clairol beautiful because a lady at Sally's said it wouldn't cause it to be a weird color because it was a rinse it is not it is semi permanent and now I have pink undertones in my hair. Is there anything to take it out? I tried blue shampo for brassy brunettes and head and shoulders those didn't work. Can I just henna over it and get my brown hair back?

Tia: It's faded so... it did something. There's probably a ton of color buildup. I did Ion's color remover twice. It uses water and crystals too.

Shanelle Golightly: What eyelashes do you have on? They’re beautiful! LOVE your videos btw! ❤️

Sofia Jarl: ur skin = flawless

Jewel Nickerson: You mentioned using baking soda. Do you mix this with conditioner or dandruff shampoo of something else? Loved the vid. Lots of love to ya

Haley Sperbeck: I don't know how i missed this Video because I literally just tried this not to long ago,and it did NOTHING Ughhhh So i went back to the joico color eraser with Olaplex #1

Kiona Rivera: I love that your just real about you just doing you❤ I feel that it makes you more relatable❣❣❣

badger bee: I thought you looked stunning in your lip injections vlog too! Just thought I'd let you know :)

Arianna Hester: I think your vlog camera looks great! Can’t wait to see what you do next!

Rayne.Ethereal: The simple makeup is so gorgeous, what are the lashes?!

LauraKat87: The cpr really strips all of the gunk out of the hair.

OoMASEoO: I bet the "wash 3 times" removes most of the color not the actual formula!!

Megan DeAlmo: I believe you can use water with the DDL as well

na li: I saw a video a while ago form a salon channel and they removed color with a product that lifted the color as you applied it. I don't remember what it was but they said it was with no bleach. Now I want to dig back and find it.

Dazzle Sound: Cool sweatshirt! Are you into magic? :D by the way what are your ideas on your new haircolor? I'm so curious! Love ya <3

Margaret Wiltrout: I am so glad I came across your channel. I have box colored my hair black for many years. I am naturally dishwasher blonde. I have we t from bleach blonde to black back to bleach and back to black so I have done it before but it's been many years and I'm older and my hair isn't as healthy as before due to medication. What is the baking soda and vitamin c method?

Katie Jasukow: I love ur hair videos ur just so awesome at it and ur so gorgeous

Bayleigh Bayleef: DDL is my go to for direct dyes. CPR for when there is an oxidative dyes

Marissa Nemechek: Why did you choose CPR over DDL? CPR is meant for oxidative colors like permanent and box color. As far as I know, not meant for vivids

evie yukihara: What do you do for the baking soda method? Is that what you normally do?

Dana H: Direct Dye Fading Treatment by Katie Siepierski is the BEST direct dye fading system EVER! There's no bleaching and it took out my blue and purple with one use and there's NO DAMAGE and none drying! ❤️❤️

Faith Emily D: Thanks for not fake gagging like every other youtuber who doesn't like the smell of something lol. It seems small but it's something haha, and How you turned and yelled though I felt that lol.

Nyree Diaz: Hey I love watching your videos and seeing how you transform your hair and makeup. You are really pretty

Kayla P.: Lmaoo I do the same thing with the heating blanket I thought I was mcgyver frfr

Junko Akinatsu: hello, I love what you do I follow you for a few months, even if I do not understand all what you said but I love you .. kisses from France

Alexandria Haddad: Can anyone help me out with this! I have professional bleached hair. Put the wrong demi permanent toner on...my hair is now brown can I use the CPR to remove the demi? I’ve washed my hair like a million times and it’s hardly faded

Sarah L.: Same thing happened to me...no major change

Happy Cow: Omg i thought you were wearing foundation. Your skin is so good ! love the video as well

Linda Pind: Use colorB4 its great just do what the box says cause it will smell almost 4ever if you don't xD

Charlotte Harper: I honestly think that if you are going to advertise a review you should do it properly...your hair is supposed to be wet and freshly shampooed, and you are supposed to use the Malibu undo goo shampoo afterwards 3 times. and it is used by professionals. you have to apply constant heat as well.

Elizabeth Torres: Thanks for the tips I have color on hair and my roots are showing so might color it again

Steph W.: I think you would have had better results on the other colors if you used Malibu C Undo Goo and the dryness wouldnt have been as bad with their conditioner.

Lyannebloem: your awesome. love your hair!!

Claudia F: Thank you for your review .

Makayla Mckenrick: Do color removers remove all color in your hair? Or say you dye red over brown will it remove the red and bring it back to the natural brown or does it take it to a blonde color? Not very educated in this

C A S I: i definitely feel like this is a product for pastel shades or very faded colors

Allison Brown: It didn’t work well in your hair bc this remover is for oxidized hair color and not direct dye pigment

Shania Beaudoin: Malibu CPR is not a color remover it has the possibility of lightening existing color but not completely removing

Dana Fidler: I think you should have washed your hair like it said before you applied it and apply with the squeeze bottles well! Just trying to help!

mercy fin: I have had my hair blue/green for about 2 years now and I want to change it but I feel like its going to be a bitch to change it!

B B: This removes oxidative dye only
