Comment below tell me how nice it is to see me in the bathtub what hey everyone today, I am going to do an experiment on my head: / hair whatever, as you know, if you're subscribed to my channel or if you have eyes, my hair is dyed. Lavender - and that was done right after Christmas, so it's been a few months. I have had the roots touched up one time, but obviously now it is fading. Quite a lot. I'Ve had it for a couple of months, I'm ready to do something different /. I have other plans for my hair, so I have been actively trying to get the purple lavender silvery tones out of my hair to go back to blond, not sure if I'm showing you that, but definitely there is there's a whole lot of colors going on. I'Ve got like baby's, silvery orange and basically, all I've been doing is washing my hair way more often, which you'll know I'm not used to, and I do not like, I feel like I'm like reverse training, my hair from like, where it could stand not being washed. Every day or every other day, and now it's like getting more like oily and greasy and stuff like that - that's another story, but it's basically just what I've had to do. I'Ve also been washing with hot water, which I wasn't doing when I was maintaining the purple, and I've also been using clarifying shampoo, which helps break down the color, but I'm getting kind of sick of this transition phase. Sometimes I really really like how it looks, and sometimes I don't - and it kind of makes me really sad to like leave the purple, because I really really really loved it and I might go back the mils what the future holds for this hair. But like I'm sad about it, but at the same time I'm just I just want to like I just want to be at the destination. My hair is ready to arrive, and so today I decided to experiment with something I heard about actually on snapchat. One of you snapped me and said: hey, you can get the color out of your hair using dish, soap and that's all she said, and I was like. Oh, what kind and like the conversation got lost and whatever it just my snapshots weird and sometimes it opens the messages before I see them very annoying. But I took that piece of advice and I contacted my stylist and said: hey should I do this because I am gon na go see her and she's gon na kind of like fix me up, because I need some fixing, but she said yes, that is actually Something that works and you should try it before you come in so today is the day we are experimenting. We'Re gon na see if this works, if it works for me, because I think basically it's like the more I can get out myself, the better. So that's what we're doing this is basically the before you can see. There'S like a lot of like yellow baiji, all kinds of stuff. Where do I use purple shampoo? It definitely takes that out more and then on the bottom pieces. There'S a lot more lavender. That'S hanging on pretty strong, so that's the stuff that I'm really really aiming at. I actually have to like go to the store right now and get the stuff because unprepared this is my last tada. Welcome to my bathroom I felt like I had to say that I don't know not sure how good this viewpoint is. Hopefully, it's nice comment below tell me how nice it is to see me in the bathtub. What, as I, hopefully you already mentioned, I am adding another step that I learned about on the internet. That'S supposed to help get color out the head and shoulders method every little bit helps. Hopefully, oh, let's take a layout. Why don't I do more videos in the back, so many questions coming today is really cute. I'M so glad I'm doing this if happening myself will need scrub, a hard which I'm not sure heaven. I just come here too hard, it's probably too late to ask that question when I was looking at me like why, why are you in the shower? You know I considered doing this as like a shower scene, YouTube isn't ready for them. I do see some purple coming out in the bubbles. I can see that working other people on YouTube mentioned using vitamin C tablets. That'S all good, like witchcraft me, I'm so sad to see the purple go. What if I just started crying while I was doing this, I'm gon na be good question. What do you guys think I should do to my hair next? There are really pretty like lavender bubbles down there. I'M thinking that means that some purple didn't come out, but I'm not sure if it's all the way out alright, now that I've rinsed I've heard this can really dry out your hair. So I am using a deep conditioner by Garnier and then I'm also going to mix that with some of it L'Oreal shimmer lights, which is a purple conditioner just to hopefully take out some of the yellow tones, because I think the yellow and purple thing was. I thank you, hello, suck you alright, I'm back. This is the after hair. It did fade the color not as much as I hoped, but I think this is something that maybe you have to do a couple of times. I think I'm going to try it again. Tomorrow, but if you're in a situation where you need to get the color out like in one day or something, this is not going to be your solutions, not incredible results for this experiment. Unfortunately, but it definitely helps so. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time at all, especially if you're in the situation like I am question of the day. If you were me, what would you do to your hair? Next, I'm going back to blonde for a little while, but after that I know you have an opinion. Tell me down below I'm listening anyway. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you want to talk to me anywhere else on the Internet, I'll put those links down below. It'S me, Anne says absolutely everywhere subscribe to my channel. If you haven't subscribed, so you can keep with all my new videos and if you are subscribed. Thank you. So much you are my people and I love you as always. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you guys next time, bye, everyone! Oh finally, you know this. My favorite thing about dogs. No, you have not even touching the water who makes the mermaid rules. Just somebody tell me. I need to talk to them by the way, washing my hair with these nails on pure joy. That was sarcasm and a lot of you notice that I was wearing this liner. I was wearing like a black wing with a blue wing accent, kind of situation, double liner, oh yeah, and you guys loved it and I loved it. It was actually

drsilva909: 2020 quarantine: looking up videos to naturally remove color and I forgot leighann even had purple hair!!

Neysha D. Rodriguez: Video starts at 3:00 :)

Amber Everitt: I did this and got mine from jet black to my natural golden blonde in under a week

Sparkleslovescolourfulstuff: baking soda, dish liquid and head and shoulders shampoo works too. I would use coconut oil after using conditioner. EDIT - Mix baking soda and shampoo. Anti-dandruff shampoo works best, but some people also swear by clarifying shampoo. ... Mix vitamin C tablets and hot water to form a paste, and apply this to your hair. ... Douse your hair with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water.

Creative Gurls: This video was amazing and helped my friend and I who were in a bit of a struggle thank you

Lindsey Williams: Love the upbeat tone of the video. I'm looking to remove blue and purple color from my hair as well and not sure on the dish soap idea since I heard it was pretty damaging to the hair. However I've kept my color going strong with my current hair products and now am using our clarifying shampoo with baking soda to remove color like you did here. I'd love for you to try that as well next time. We also have a non-purple shampoo that removes brasiness just like the purple shampoo without depositing color, so you could try that as well. I'd love to see your results with our products. find me on facebook at lbwilliams2780 I'd love to chat hair!!

Cynthia Lopez: This actually works I left the shampoo with the dawn soap on my hair for 10 minutes and it took off more of the purple dyed

Bryn Huggins: This was so helpful! Thank you so much for sharing this!!❤️

saarxddd: It helps a ton! I did this with my green hair because I wanted to dye it another colour and the water was really green and you could see my hair getting way less green. If I hadn't done this, the green would show through the new dye again.

Ana Martínez: Hi! :) Next time try washing your hair with the dish soap or a clarifying shampoo and rinse it. Then towel blot it and apply the soap on damp hair. Scrub it really good! Leave it on and put a shower cap on. Leave it on for 45 minutes. You'll see the color wash right out! Hope this helps! :) p.s. I use Vo5 clarifying shampoo! it's like 75 cents at Walmart.

TwistedBarbie: I love your lavender hair!! It looks so good. I have a build up of dark dye and one red dye on my hair and I'm going to try this - I also heard that bicarbonate of soda/baking soda is good to strip out hair colour too. I want to strip out all colour and go natural for the first time in years. I have naturally red hair that used to get a lot of compliments but I've messed about with it so much. :)

Vincent Balducci: I'll give you a helpful hint. With removing semi-permeant you have to remove it at the surface level. If you buy loreal color remover and mix it with 2oz of water instead of developer it'll take it right off.

Emily K: As a hairstylist myself, I think this worked quite well for you! Do it a couple more times and the purple will definitely be almost totally gone. This is a great option for anyone that is trying to get rid of deposit-only haircolour without the damage of lightener. In my opinion there wasn't any yellow/gold tone to your hair, so you could skip adding a violet conditioner for the time being!

Anita Taco: If I were you trying to get that out, I'd get a very, very VERY weak bleach bath going, coat my hair in coconut oil first, then cover my hair in the slight bleach shampoo mix, leave for a few mins, rinse a test strand and see. Sometimes when the color is so slight it'll come out way faster than you think it would. Then I'd tone it to perfection, or as close as my luck allows me to get...lol....again the bleach bath would be so weak you'd almost say why bother? Lol

Hannah De Los Rios: Purple conditioner is used to maintain platinum blonde hair. It doesn't really make your hair purple. Unless you use a low quality product.

Liesel Gutierrez: I used gain dish soap and it got the splat hair color out of my hair and scalp! Amazing results!! But the color looks nice on you.

Jaden Ruesch: THANK YOU!! My hair turned a darker baby blue and I was going for silver! You saved me!!!

Emmy Moeller: This is the first video where I was actually shown a scrubbing technique. THANK YOU!

Elizabeth N: Love the video!!! Thanks for including the part where you asked your stylist if dawn soap helped-very helpful:)

Sonja Johnson: I'm doing exactly the same! My hair is stained a yucky swamp green from my purple and blue dyes that I've had for about a year, I'm getting desperate to go back to my natural dark blonde but I'm going to my hair dresser later today so I want to fade the colour as much as possible this morning!

Giselle Mendez: This hack just saved me! Just did my hair and the color came out way to intense for me and wanted to tone it down. This helped wash some of the color out and toned down the brightness! Thanks for the tip!

Dumpster Fire Express: A friend of mine introduced me to Bunny's videos, and the collab videos you both have done have now lead me to your channel. You're amazing!!

Raely715: I do that whenever Im switching hair colours, I usually have to do it 2-4 times depending on what colour it is and how long ive left it to fade on its own!

Alexandra Stratan: I think the purple conditioner is not such a great idea, sort of defeats the purpose, wouldn't it?

Georgia C: Another really good soap for this i was recommended to by a stylist was Vosene, I'm unsure if its international like head & shoulders but in the Uk its great and cheap, I've also been told the alternative to Dawn which i've never seen before is Fairy Platinum. I've been using this shampoo for a few days now to try lift as much box dye black from my hair as I can though I've been dying it for years so I doubt there's going to be much lift - just got to pray for it before i go back to the salon and see if bleaching/stripping lifts it well enough

Mel M: Dandruff shampoo always helps to lift the colour, works pretty well when you add lemon juice and backing soda. I have done it to get out my blue colour I had. Didn't like it. After two days it was gone. Thanks for sharing!! Super video!!

Grace: I personally love a bit of teal haha :-) I've had this color since August and it fades really well. My stylist did mostly blue with a little bit of green. Idk what brand was used but if I had to guess, it would be pravana. I touched it up with ion's cyan and it looked super similar to my original color.

YAASSS!!: Y’all are so rude and mean to this girl! She is so sweet with a cute personality!!!

Sara Saberi: A reason it may not have worked to it's full potential is because you used the purple shampoo afterwards. Shimmer lights, or any purple shampoo, is a color depositing shampoo, and the one you used deposits purple tones. Although, the purple tones do neutralize yellow tones, it DOES DEPOSIT purple tones, so if you were wanting to fade out the purple, adding a purple depositing shampoo wasn't the way to go. A little bit of a bug, but it would have helped out a bit, is if you had put the purple shampoo ONLY on the brassy parts of your hair vs. all of your hair. Though, I know this is an old video, so it's no longer a help to you, perhaps my comment can help someone else out in the future :)

Lynn: (This is extremely old but just a tip for the future) you can actually let that sit on your hair for 25 minutes or so and it should strip the color out a lot depending on how easy your hair lets go of the dye. I recommend using a hair mask afterward though because it will probably dry your hair out a lot.

Elizabeth Cloern: Loving everything about your makeup in this video!!

Erin M.: When using this Dawn detergent make sure you’re deep conditioning at least once a week too! Super drying

Noemi Esquivez: You're so funny! Love your humor ❤️

s.lena: 2 days ago I went to salon to add a few highlights to my roots to match my blonde tips but it turned out way more blonde that I wanted. Being Olive skin tone, I am always scared to go completely blonde because if I don't wear a ton od make up with blonde hair I will look sick. So due to not having the time to go back to salon to fix it as I want, I instead got a box of black dye and used it on my roots only and left it for 5 mins . I guess it was bad decision because now my blondes are purplish which is a color I have never tried before and can't say that I hate it. But it is a relief knowing that I can get rid of it in case I hate it a few days later. So happy I found this, thanks!

McHale Haiman: thank you! i needed this video. i use that deep conditioner too because I'm gonna go lighter and my stylist told me to make my hair strong. but anyway. i have dark dark hair in my bottom layers and i wanted to speed up the process a little bit. I'm gonna have to try this, you're a gem! i see you used Dawn, is that best or does anyone else have suggestions on brands/formula??

Chelsea Munsterman: For me as a stylist I tell my clients if they are doing the Dawn dish soap way I always tell people to start doing it two weeks before there color service and do it two to three times a week to get as much out as you can. Also putting in the shimmer lights was slightly counter productive it's too pigmented for what your trying to do.

Kelly R: You look so pretty with the lavender hair! I recently had some violet put in my hair but it's too dark for me so I'm going to try this method tomorrow to hopefully fade it!! Thanks for sharing this video!

Nearly RetroAllOver: My hair is like the same exact colour as yours, and I have been using head and shoulders for at least 3 weeks, and apparently the dye was suppose to come out in like 8-10 washes, and it's definitely been over that. I have 1 week till school, and I have a lot to go still. Also, if I turn up to school with purple hair, I'll get excluded till all the dye is out. That's the rules at my school ;c Has anyone got any suggestions on what could help to remove more of the dye?

Gwendylan Pusateri: ALSO I got out my hair color two years ago by mixing baking soda and hydrogen peroxide I got to the platinum stage. You can leave it on for as long as you want and it won't damage your hair. And also to really REALLY deep condition your hair, microwave a damp towel for a few seconds and wrap your hair with it while the conditioner is in it. leave it on till the towel cools. the steam will help your hair

Macee D: I had colored hair and it really helped, not as much as I thought it was, but it did help! I am re-dyeing it tonight and it looks better than it did after it faded! Thanks for sharing this!

Helleborne B.: Vitamin C works great on blues, greens, and purples. You just crush up the tablets, mix it with your Head and Shoulders, and scrub it in. Scrubbing your hair is kind of like making "snakes" with play-dough. A bit late to the hair party, but hey! It's got to help someone.

Elle: The vitamin c really works! Instead of crushing I would dissolve it in hot water first. A lot of it. Wash it in with some anti-dandruff shampoo and that’s it. Warning though it WILL stink and dry out your hair! But your hair should be ready for the next color.

Urban Elysium: you’re so funny!! I’m doing red to blonde and I had totally forgot about the dish soap- thanks for reminding me!

Sophie Cooke: I think you would suit a messy long bob - like Khloe Kardashian has atm! I'm gonna try this, I dyed my hair rose gold (from blonde balayage) and it faded pretty quick but is still hanging on to my roots and I want it light again for summer! xx

Honeybabymarie: Use vitamin c powder and dandruff shampoo next time. just mix the two together and leave it in for a few hours. it worked really well removing blue and purple from my hair. you may want to crush up some vitamin c tablets instead of the powder though, the powder made my hair sticky but it rinsed out once I washed my hair with the dandruff shampoo. I did this twice in two days and it removed 90% of the color. I had only had the blue and purple in my hair for a few days so it hadn't even started fading on its own yet.

Sara Lingerman: THANK YOU for this video!!! You have saved me from public humiliation! ( and looking like Ronald McDonald!!) It works!!!

EstiviAng JG: I've been searching through all the empties and favorites videos looking for the name of the clarifying shampoo, it was a big clear bottle with a blue cap (I think), or it was a shampoo that helped grow hair faster, and you would use it to once a week... I've spent my entire morning and part of last night obsessing over it! Please help!

Ashley Reynolds: I have had a hair journey over the last year! Though for the purposes of this video I did a pastel pink look over the summer and would counter the brassy tones with a lavender dye, do my hair was in a constant transitional phase between pinks and lavenders and lilacs and silvers. I'm between I would use soap caps (bleach and shampoo) and hot oil treatments (usually using coconut oil, which can cause hair loss) to remove color. Now I'm trying to grow the bleach out of my hair, so I'm using semi-permanent dyes in natural colors to cover the blonde and hide my roots.

Z E: Vitamin C tablets DO actually work. You just crush them up and add some clarifying shampoo into it (to make like a paste) and leave it in your hair for like an hour or two. I've seen quite a few videos, including one by HeyThereImShannon and from what I've seen it gets the color out much more significantly than the dish soap or dandruff shampoo :)

SN: love your channel! so much energy <3

redrobin1225: Trying to fade my color out and I found your video. So helpful! And you're super cute, Thanks!

robyn roy: the new joico color intensity eraser works really well to take fashion (vibrant) colors out of the hair !! it can take up to 30 min using it but when ive used it and the stuff was all over my head i could already see most of the color gone out of my hair in ten min !! and its less then $20 !! definitely something you should try

Angélica Agélviz: thank you so much for this video!!! I had purple hair but its fading (naturally), but it fades to YELLOW!D': Im even using purple shampoo so i have no idea whats up with that. hopefully this helps me out. again, thanks for uploading!

Jennifer Stocker: U can use Joici Eraser ! Perfect to remove freaky colors! ❤️ much love!

Lisa Woodruff: you're super cute and funny.  I use Dawn once a week to get rid of the build up in my hair.  It works GREAT!

Emily Moroz: I am super glad I found this I’m going to wash my hair with down until my hair is back to normal

tehya: I wanna go from pink to black. Thanks so much for making this video, it helped so much❣️

u o n o: I actually had deep purple hair and used the head and shoulders only about 5 times(in the same day, very drying, I found that out quickly) and it faded it to a pretty light lavender, afterwards I dyed my hair blonde and it was toned without toning it , im assuming its because there was purple dye deposited before

firebird_SPLEEN: That color looks perfect on you

MoLynn 101504: +MoLynn 101504 I think you would look REALLY pretty with teal ombre hair. Start with brown roots and get lighter teal as you go down

Emmy Mayes: You really can use vitamin C powder to remove color I tried it and it removed permanent black color from my hair with out damage lol not sure how it works but it does. Vitamin C powder, coconut oil, condtioner that's it.

Katie Spence: The point of purple shampoo is to put some blue/purple tones in your hair so that it cancels out the yellow. So you basically washed the purple out and then put it back in

Samantha Williams: If you want to go blonde and strip colour from your hair. Use baking soda, head and shoulders and dish soap (dawn) or laundry detergent. It works wonders. I had blue pink and purple hair and after 2 washes it was almost blonde again. Let it sit for about 5 minutes after you scrub it in.

Tamara Krupka: you need to add baking soda to your dawn dish soap. I asked a friend of mine from Paul Mitchell and that's what she said to add to it, she said it will work great but your hair will feel like crap so you need to use a deep conditioner.

Luna Blue: I Love it the way it is! But, I'm about to take the purple out of my hair too and go back to blonde. The purple and blue I have right now is so beautiful and I really don't want to take it out, but I feel like people are so not ready for this in the town I'm from:-( People are really A-holes about it and give me the worst looks.

SkeyeU: This video is awesome! It took a ton of the color out. That was impressive.

Mary Patterson: Leigh Ann alone with her thoughts is the funniest thing ever

Mallory Grace: I used to have purple hair and mine went through the same phase of being silver/ light purple and I used a combination of baking soda, clarifying shampoo, a little but of lemon juice and a little bit of water and mixed it all together and it helped the color fade tremendously. However it is super drying so like the dish soap so make sure to use a deep conditioner or something with keratin to replenish the protein in your hair

Jacqualine Jimenez: I'm trying to get the hair dye out without bleaching my hair so much

Kaylee-Anne Wheaton: Dawn is safe on hair but if you want results I think Sunlight is your best bet. Great vid btw =)

horrorpunk323: I agree with the rose gold! Your makeup style would totally be amazing with that shade.

Feemailgamer: I use an ombre set from splat it makes teal and violet I love it! Use herbal essence dry shampoo :)

Christina Harris: I love how the bagel bites was apart of the process. ❤️❤️

Ryan S: Vitamin C helps open up the cuticle. Also you could have just stuck with a clarifying shampoo instead of spending money on head and shoulders. Rusk clarifying shampoo is great because it has Tea tree which strips color from hair.

Aimee Barajas: you should try the vitamin C tablet thing because it does work really well. make sure to mix it with anti-dandruff shampoo and maybe if you do it on dry hair it'll work better??

Shorty Extraordinaire: The purple conditioner literally deposits purple pigment into your hair, so using it is counterproductive. Lol I used dawn dish soap with some vitamin c powder mixed in. I covered my head in it, massaged gently then put a cap on for over an hour. It took almost all the color out! ;)

Maria Guenther: I use clarifying shampoo and it helps a bit as well. I’m just trying to get pink out of my hair

Nourish To Flourish: After experimenting DIY hair color,My hair turned out to be jet black.I really hated it.After researching,I personally tried the formula .it really work for my hair .I used vitamin C capsules and face vit c serum added with my shampoo (Shea moisture)while washing my hair I also used dish washer And it worked only in one wash but it also depends on how much colored you hv used in your hair. Mine turned out to be one shade lighter.I am really happy

KiwiKatalyst: I laughed so much when you said vitamin c tablets sounded like witchcraft. :P

Harrison Tackett: I'd like to see a strawberry copper blond or rose gold, but I'm sort of obsessed with those colors right now

Nicole Smith: I wonder if this would work with permanent hair color. I recently colored my hair an icky brown color ‍♀️

Jessica.Crossing: I always use dawn dish soap when I want to get Color out of my hair.. I use it everyday for about a week but use a deep conditioner every time I wash it!!

Angela Williams: I had a silver toner put in my hair to strip the copper out of my hair. I had to use Dawn to get it out. I washed it over and over again til it was back Platinum. U gotta scrub hard and brush or comb through the hair, rinse and then repeat

gabrielle: use dandruff shampoo, lemon juice, baking soda and dawn soap. i just dyed my hair semi-permanent pink today and wanted more of a pastel and it came out a dark hot pink. i used all of those ingredients in the shower scrubbing my hair for like 20 min it instantly turned pastel/rose gold!

Cailyn Veronica: I've been loving light rose/rose gold hair lately it's so beautiful

Viviana Gonzalez: my hair looks exactly the same color as yours in this video, and I want to dye it another color. Some streaks of lavender just won't come out! it's so frustrating

Keri: You are the only one that has not gotten on my last nerve with that God awful lip smacking that they do! I think you only did it once, so you got my vote!

Barbara Wilson: Gorgeous hair!

Karin slumanap: oops works wonders. It will remove the dark and highlight your hair. Rinse a lot,lot lot! condition a lot too. You will love the results.

Elle Is For Living: Ok, I never thought I'd say this but, it was fun being in the bath with you :-) Go blonde girl, you are stunning (ok, yes I am conservative lol!) ♥ Elle PS - Luna air swimming was adorable!

Wack Wrld: I think you would look really good with multi-colored hair

Jessica Litchfield: I dyed my hair brown (myself because I'm an idiot) and he's dishwashing soap is really helping me get rid of it now my hair went from almost black to a mixture of blonde and brown after one wash with the dish soap but I don't like doing this often because it makes my hair very dry but I reckon 2 times a week would get it out after 3 weeks and not completely destroy your hair.

Goats_and_pizza: I've heard if you mix crushed up vitamin c tablets (you can also use lemon juice but it's more drying) with conditioner and leave it in your hair for an hour it will take out the color. And it's only vitamin c so you can do it as many times as you need. I've never personally tried it but my friend did and it made her hair really soft

Mimi Grabner: Emergency C Powder, Down Soap and Dandruff Shampoo and mix it up and put on your hair and let it sit in tub and relax for like hour. It should drip out slowly or come out when rinsed. but let the vitamin C powder work it's magic.

Rebecca Breen: Lemon dish soap works best I used it when I had red in my hair! Loved it

Audrey Brinkhorst: A product that worked on my hair was Color Oops. Got it for a decent price at Walmart and had a friend help me use it.

Jestor 1438: im doing my hair with dawn right now and i was told 2 leave it and let it set for about 45 minutes to a hour im a red and im hopping it pulls alot out like it did my friend ❤❤

Serine Rahhal: Thank you this helped me get my blue hair dye out of my hair

ᵕ̈Stfu.༝: I dyed my hair without telling my mom so I’m trying to get it out and it takes a week ‍♀️

Elizabeth Angel: thanks for this video! I'm gonna do this
