How To Silk Press Natural Hair | Thick Hair Silk Press At Home

Hey beauties and welcome back to my channel or welcome if this is your first time here, my name is deanna monet and today i'm going to be doing something a little different. I do a lot of wigs on this channel, but not so much my natural hair. So today, as you can see, we are all we are all fluffed and blown out. I do have a separate video on how i did a little color touch-up on my hair, using a semi-permanent color with the adore. I will link that in the cards above. If you would like to check out that video after this one but yeah, we have added a little bit of color we're freshly washed freshly blow dried, and now i'm going to be flat ironing my hair, which is something i hardly do, because i just leave it To the professional girl, i don't have enough time, you see all of this hair right here, so i just leave it to them, but i was like you know. I want to do a little diy. I want to do my own hair today. I was just in a good mood, so that's what we're going to be doing. I have already added a heat protectant to my hair, that is in part one of the video when i started blow drying so like i said you can check out that video after this one, but for now we're just going to go ahead and get started. It'S been so long since i flat on my own hair, like i don't even know where to begin honestly, but i think i'm just going to do like a um. You know start in the back so and i'm not going to worry about the parts like you know the sections being too perfect or anything. I got some clips. I got my hair up um, so yeah, i'm going to start with a small section. This is is so is is so throughout this video. You are going to see that i go in with my hot comb for my roots and this just because i want to make sure that those are nice and smooth and i don't feel like i can get them as good with my flat iron. So i start up up top with my hot comb and then i work my way down with the flat iron for the rest of the hair to get smooth and that pretty much worked for me throughout this process. I love you, you don't know what you don't know uh i play on my own, so i am going to attempt to explain how i curl my hair with the flat iron, but it is definitely something that i am still working on so y'all about to see Me struggle through this whole part of life, trying to curl my hair with this flat iron, but um. I do try to you, know slow down what it is. I'M doing it's really hard to explain, because it's all in like a little twist but yeah just wanted to. Let y'all know that this is not an area that i'm skilled in i'm, not professional at doing hair at all, but i'm just showing y'all. Yes, so i'm gon na turn this one, i'm gon na flip the iron towards me and then i'll flip this over. Let the hair down! Let'S get these big bouncy curls! Okay, so i actually just got a new camera, i'm not sure if you can tell or not and my battery died. So i didn't keep going. I just stopped where i was with these curls and yeah. It'S just kind of funny that my battery died because i'm not used to having a real camera shout out to lq love, who answered all my 50 million questions about what camera i should get. I was so scared to use this, and now this is only my first video with this camera and i love it. I just love it so much. I'Ve already uploaded some images onto my laptop and i can like see a difference, but that's not the story for another day but yeah my battery died y'all and i'm back so i'm still working on this crazy hair of mine um. I do really like it with the curls. Let me know how you're feeling the curls or, if you just would want it straight. I didn't get it as bone straight as i would like it to be. If i was just going to wear it straight and that's because i did not have my heat tools, all the way turned up to their highest setting, because i do not want any heat damage in my hair. So that's why you saw me doing some like extra passes, because neither one of these were turned up to like the highest heat. This is probably like medium heat right here, so that's probably why i didn't get like bone straight and i probably just never get my own hair blown straight. I probably just always have to go to the salon for that and that's okay, but for now i'm going to finish up styling these curls, because this will be the final look like kind of like a little roller set, look which i'm really here for so i'm Going to finish doing that and then i'll be back at the end. With the final look, oh you make me wan na talk back talk back to you say you say you like that. If i hate you then find someone new. Maybe, but you know i never. Will no so i'd choke you down just like like so this is the final look. We have finally made it to the end of this long process. I am torn between a side part and a middle part, so it's like, oh as you can see, i decided to go to the left side part, but i don't know i might switch that later.
