We'Re here to say, gray, hair doesn't mean you're old, you're, still vibrant you're, still beautiful we're here to change people's perception about gray hair. I started this account to inspire and encourage women who's going through their gray hair transition to. Let them know that hey it's! Okay! To be great, and you can still feel great and you can be proud of your hair color, i always thought you know, gray met, you know looking old, so it was just a natural thing for me to just start coloring, my hair. I would tell my co-workers and my family: hey i'm gon na, let let my hair grow, you know let my natural hair come in and i would do it for maybe a week or two and then i would go right back to coloring and thinking what was I thinking i would never go grade, so i kind of went back and forth for a whole year. I finally told myself, you know what this is it i'm going to. Let it go because i wanted to be real and authentic for him. I didn't want to hide behind hair color. The biggest resource in helping with my journey to going gray was following a lot of the silver sisters or silver haired women on instagram. They gave me courage and self-confidence to just keep going. Pro-Aging is a new way of looking or defining midlife and beyond. It'S like taking proactive approach to living well and embracing and celebrating your age number one pro-age tips that i think is very important, is being um positive, being optimistic. My second tip is staying active and healthy diet. That is very important too for living well, my final tip is be thankful, always be thankful. This journey has really made me grow personally, you know i'm more embracing life looking forward to what's out there. I think this has been the best decade compared to my 20s, 30s and 40s. By far, it's been really great in my 50s, and i know that it's going to get better as i get older

Monikazz Kitchen: Your video is encouraging, I have stopped using dye for now almost1and half years.really feeling good.seen your video is encouraging. Great.

AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO: I am loving it!! I think it makes you more beautiful! Gray hair is the Silver Crown I always wanted! ❤❤❤❤

Debbe Sumner: I made the same decision in my early 40’s, but my gray doesn’t look near as beautiful as hers. But it’s absolutely true that a person’s inner beauty is the only thing that matters in the end. Embrace it ladies!

JitalyJ - Feeling It 100%: Not everyone looks this amazing with gray hair. She is gorgeous

H Lewis: She’s absolutely rocking that grey hair. Super stunner!

Jenny Rodriguez: I've been gray for years (46years old). Never considered it bad that my hair was going gray. Funny how only women are conditioned to think they will look "old" for going gray.

M: I’m more concerned about her skin regime! Her skin is flawless. She definitely doesn’t look her age. She looks so much younger!

Hyun Devine: As a hair dresser, her gray hair placement makes her hair look even more unique and beautiful with nice face skin. Unfortunately not everybody is gonna look as beautiful as she is with gray hair tho.

Kiane Keo: She’s so naturally beautiful

JJerseyGirl: But Jin has the grey hair we all want.

Flipflops and Butterflies: Stunning lady, she looks better gray! I’m just starting this process at 47 and looking forward to rocking it like this lady

S. Lew.: I stopped dying my hair when I went natural 6 years ago. A male friend said you should dye your hair. That made me more adamant about not dying it. He has just as much gray as I do and doesn't dye his. I think of my gray as silver highlights. ‍

Votethepower: Wow! Are we not going to mention that she has no wrinkles!! Her skin is gorgeous.

Rachel Fox: I'm so glad there's a such a wave of acceptance for grey hair now-- I've been going grey since I was 19 years old, I'm 27 now and it's really coming in. I love my mature look, and I appreciate that I don't have to expect (and shouldn't have to expect) pushback for simply existing as myself.

Lady Genesis: When I was 10 I wanted my hair silver, I thought it was so beautiful and still do ♥ Also, I'm only 25, but please be proud of growing old. Not many get to accomplish such an amazing feat. Please be proud of the strength you have, the lives you've led, and the stories you have to tell. I'll always be rooting for you ❤

Keisha St.Julien: Thank you so much. I’ve been going grey since 27. I’ve also gone natural, no longer relying on relaxers. It’s very authentic to embrace who you are and show her to the world.

Asia dreams of hair: Let’s take a minute and admire her hair density first

BranBran Shenanigan: She’s beautiful either way but that grey hair takes it to another level gorgeous

Navier Ma’s Channel 🔮👻: My mom is Asian too and gone grey pretty early. If she doesn’t dye her hair, her hair is white. She has almost no more pepper in her hair. It used to bother her (especially since my dad still has a head full of black hair so people used to think she was older) but now she’s embraced her white hair and hasn’t dyed her hair in years. I really appreciate the positive message this lady is spreading about going grey. You can still be vibrant with grey hair. And this lady proves it

Christeen Francis: There is nothing like being your real self living your best life

Kristen Long: I stopped dying my hair over a year ago. I started going gray early. I'm 37 now, and I actually have quite a lot of gray hair. I'm just letting it come in and shine now lol.

Elizabeth Kayne: I absolutely love this. I love that I'm going grey. I've buried enough friends at a young age to know this is a privilege ❤

Sara: My mom died 16 years ago when I was 19. She was very close to her sister, my aunt. When my mom first got sick my aunt promised her she wouldn’t dye her hair until my mom was well again, so they’d both have gray roots together. Well sadly since my mom never did get well, my aunt has kept her promise and hasn’t dyed her hair since. She’s been rocking her gray and I love it. She looks fabulous and even though it’s been 16 years I still love the reason why. I’m sure my mom would’ve been fine if my aunt died her hair, but the fact she’s kept her promise just makes her gray hair even more meaningful and powerful to me.

perfectly imperfect23: I'll be 28 this year and have more grey hair than someone in their 40/50s. It's about half grey half brunette. I've had grey hair since before I was a teenager. It's a genetic thing. I honestly hate it! It's something that makes me SO self conscious because people will ask why is your hair so grey when you're so young. I'm jealous of this woman's confidence! And she is stunning!

Simona Merkininkaitė: Both of my grandmothers went grey while they were still in their 20's and neither of them have ever dyed their hair. I think it's beautiful. Both for women and men grey hair shouldn't be something to be embarrassed about. The "salt and pepper" look is simply gorgeous

Jason Bean: Her face is flawless. I was stunned by her lovely Southern accent, as well. In the 80’s, I read that around 90% of USA women dye their hair! I wonder if that still holds true..:)

Tyliyah Hayilyt: The women in my life and the woman in the video have actually made me excited to go grey. I’m not scared to age.

V: Her hair is abundant! And she's BEAUTIFUL

E E: Yessss! Embrace the aging process and love yourself!!! I am 40 and my hair is transitioning from dark brown to white/gray- I’ve never been into coloring my hair. I love the natural look! Woman with gray hair are beautiful!

Ebony L.: When you've had gray hair since age 8. Now at 25 I just let it grow and have accepted it.

S B: So inspiring! I started getting greys at around age 13 which I believe was stress-related (mostly due to school) since I got the most around exam time. I had started dying my hair at around age 16 and kept it up for at least a decade, while experimenting with different colours. However, just like she said, the process became tedious, especially as I have really thick hair, and one day I just told myself I'm over it. I've been loving my silver strands ever since and can't wait to be fully grey hopefully sooner than later

Stella Semra: I started getting grey hair when I hit puberty. I've always been dying it but I've been considering letting it just grow out. Funny thing is people are like wow you're so younger and have so much grey hairs. I turn 33 in a couple weeks and about 50% of my hair is grey. After watching this and many other videos, it has made me more comfortable to just let it grow out. Also you are absolutely beautiful!

Jaesha: When you look like that and gray like that, sure it’s okay to go go gray, but not everyone’s hair grows like that. I have very ugly graying with stray strands just growing randomly. It’s not pretty. You can age well and not embrace gray hair ladies. Just do you. ♥️

TG: I made the decision at the beginning of the pandemic and I love my gray. I get a lot of compliments from people everywhere. It's so freeing and empowering as a woman to embrace what God has given us.

Stephanie Kong: I've loved videos seeing people ditch the dye and embrace the gray. It's such a beautiful look! Also, for being in her 50s, this woman's skin is FLAWLESS.

Pam CC: I've been following Jin's incredibly inspiring account of her hair, fashion and fitness as well as other awesome silver hair accounts & communities on Instagram for several years now. My silvers have been slowly growing in for 5 years and at 49, they're now turning silver more frequently. I keep my hair short in a pixie cut (a chin length bob has been the longest in the past 6 years). I keep an eye out for modern versions of my preferred hairstyles and get trims regularly, which is a big tip for going grey: keep your hair healthy. Going grey is beautiful and even refreshing--just be sure to keep your hairstyle, makeup and clothing looking current so it doesn't "age" you in the way of eras, as in, don't look like you're stuck still living in the 80s or 90s. Pay homage to your favorite era with touches of trends or colors with accessories or a well-kept and well-fitting clothing item with the current fashion so you don't look like an elderly person living exactly in that time frame.

keeksterkeek: I started going grey when I was 12. At 36 I finally gave up the hair dye. I’m still in the grow out phase, but so far I’m loving not having to dye my hair all the time!

j meade: Love this! Thank you for sharing her story!

iluvpie20101: My moms been wanting her hair completely silver since she was young and NEVER wanted to dye her hair. She has hair to her ankles, and is someone that works outside and cleans and does hard ass work (building sheds, made an entire patio, made her own LEVELED stone floor, etc) and keeps her gray hair in a bun. Just so you other women know, this seems to be a video for those women who embrace their gray while styling to accommodate ditching the color. Yall better recognize some of these women dont have time to style their hair everyday; I cant tell you how many odd looks she gets about her hair FROM WOMEN!

Zaida Grace: I’m in my early 40s and I let my hair go gray for 2 years. While my hair was beautiful and healthy it did make me look years older. When I died my hair back brown it took years off me. I loved the gray but not yet. *Her gray is beautiful!

Elle Powers: Thank-you so much for sharing. I just cut my hair really short to aid in the transition and have a daily battle with myself thinking I look old and should dye it. I think it will look better once it grows out and seeing yours go from short to long will help me stick with it. You look great!

smileforhiba: I started seeing gray hairs when I first turned 24 (I'm 27 now) and for some reason, I LOVED each and every strand of gray hair! I think Im going to stick to them and embrace my aging process! <3

True To myself: Thank you for this video! I decided about 10 years ago not to color my hair anymore and I really like how the gray is slowly growing in. Like you, I stay active and try to eat better. Every stage of life should be enjoyed and celebrated!.....another Silver Sister

Perdita Johnson-Abercrombie: I decided to engage my gray during Covid. I feel great, my hair is healthier, and the color is stunning. People, young, seasoned, male, female stop me ALL the time to comment on how attractive the color looks and to admire the gray. It really is liberating to not have the dye in my hair. It also makes me look younger because the gray is softening to my skin tone. It’s a great decision for me! Thank you for sharing your story!

Camila Saraiva: This video is so inspiring. I have the privilege to say I have a gray mother! People in my family start getting gray hair early in life (I’m 28 and have some already) and my mom dyed her hair for a really long time, however, when she started letting her natural curly hair grow she also stopped dying it. Nowadays, she has an amazingly beautiful gray curly hair. She followed my footsteps letting her curly hair grow and I’ll definitely follow hers by not dyeing my hair.

Isabelle: I decided to go grey as well. I've had enough of dyeing my hair every few weeks. Now I free more relaxed. I finally accepted my greys and I don't care of the people who give me those nasty looks because I decided to go natural.

shelby schultz: I'm 26 and just found my first gray hair in February and my mom and sister have dyed their hair since before I was born so I've never seen women embrace their natural beauty like this. My mom and sister are amazing and inspiring women; I just not a person who wants to dye their hair constantly so to see beautiful women like this makes me feel so much more comfortable with myself as I am maturing ☺️☺️☺️

Nati: She is absolutely GORGEOUS! The gray just exemplifies her beauty. Meanwhile my gray hair and stressful life makes me feel old and dumpy so I dye it

Carrie Fox: I've been second guessing my decision to stop coloring my hair, not anymore! I'm glad I came across this video. She looks amazing!

Angela: She looks fabulous! Rocking the hair!

Lori Keenan: Love it, if my hair was completely gray, I would do it. You rock girl!

ᗰY KITTY ᑭᗴᖇᑕY: Well, she looks amazing. Everyone should do what they want. Whether you dye your hair or not.

Eden Lust: Grey hair is absolutely fine, but I'm too young for that. I want my hair to be all dark again. But thank you... thank you for doing this. It's all only in our heads.

Renee Moreno: I also went natural grey and its who I am...this is me and how I feel. No hassle.

High Maintenance Minimalist: I started going grey as a teen and I'd been coloring my hair (monthly) until I was 31. I've been rocking my grey ever since.

Unbroken free spirit Ramirez: Your stunning!!! I started getting grey hair at the age of 20 and I’m 30 now and I have a lot of grey hair blended in my hair now but I have been thinking about dying my hair to get rid of the grey hairs but I also don’t like dying my hair so this is very encouraging to just embrace everything I am thank you

Micaela B: I like the grey look on her it makes her face see more vibrant and brighter. Also if you’re a younger person going grey really embrace it. It’s kind of a trend to have sections of your hair grey or you can just dye your whole head grey and add colored sections. Really make it you and reclaim your youth!

Ranch Dubois: She pulls of the color so well!!!!!

Tera Greene • nova jade*: I’m 37 and stopped dyes and processing around 10 years ago or more. Loved this story!

Sparkle Donut: I already follow her before this video came out. I’m also embracing my grays. Been Gray since my late 20’s. I’m 44 yes old and loving my hair natural.

Kai Outlaw: Hell, naw, as someone with extremes dark hair, when my hair goes gray I'm dying it like a rainbow. Grey hair will be my time to shine and show off my crazy hair color ideas.

Anne Scholl: Thank you for sharing this! I have embraced my grays! Especially prior to turning 50! I am much more confident now that I was in my 20th and 30th!

Alexandra Bree: Gray hair is beautiful ! It’s also natural, it’s kind of silly to think we’re all walking around with artificially dyed hair when we could embrace it as a beautiful sign of the gift of a long life here.

Zenendrah Hernz: I want to remember this when I'm at that age. I wanna thinking I'd be able to be creative with my silver hair by styling it up or something lol. i like to think it'd be a fun creative challenge for me while accepting my age. You (and my dad with his own greying hair) remind me of that ❤️❤️❤️

Body Hair Positive: Good on her! Why should it be socially acceptable for men of a certain age to have grey hair and winkles, but women of the very same age are told by society and the media that they have to do everything to hide their grey hair and wrinkles? It's not fair.

April Urrutia: Love your story!! Such an inspiration❤️❤️

Natty Ophelia: At 33, I have a ton of gray. I started when I was 16, I have dyed my hair a lot but gave it up a year ago. It’s toxic and it doesn’t stick. They have done studies that show there is a direct link between hair dye and a certain breast cancer. Don’t put beauty before your health, I’m glad more people are embracing natural as beautiful.

Tish The Dish: She’s beautiful and her hair is the icing on the cake ❤️

Shiitake Happens: I’m in my mid 30’s and am starting to grey and am totally into it. I’m not dying mine so I love this. I hope my hair pattern is as neat when I’m fully grey.

Debra Parker: I am considering going all gray but to EASE into it by having my hair stylist do gray color blending. Eventually stop the blending at being the totally salt pepper look. Gray hair can be coarse and dry, moisturize. Good luck to those going on this journey of life.

Rose Schwiebert: Very informative video. I don’t have a problem with gray hair, I just personally think it makes me look older than my years. I love my 50’s, and I’m so thankful to have lived this long, but I don’t want to look a day over that, and (in my opinion) my gray hair makes me look a lot older. I’m hoping in my 60’s I can just let go of getting my hair colored....we shall see.☺️☺️

Coagulated Salts: i’m 18 and i have a fair amount of grey hair, and i’ve had it since i was about 12! it runs in the family as my father and his father got grey hair early on as well. by the tike my dad turned 25 he said his head was 50% grey and 50% black ❤️ i love it so much

Ms.Netisa Lovelace: Sister I'm so proud of you I feel you I'm doing the same thing I never put die I put a rinse and now I just stop and you look absolutely gorgeous love and embrace yourself it's the best feeling ever thank you for sharing I know a lot of women out here understand I hope I do thank you

KawaiiPopSimmer: Good for her! I don’t get the concept that Grey hair means you look old! She looks AMAZING! When she said she was a grandma I was absolutely astonished! I’m only 19 so I don’t have grey hair but every chance I get I’ll give myself a grey hairstyle love it so much!

impasse0124: I’ve been going gray since high school, although it was very sparse back then. I’m 31 now and while my hair is still overwhelmingly brown, the gray hair has significantly increased. It doesn’t bother me though ‍♀️

India Nail: Gray hair is so beautiful, I’ve always looked forward to it in my older age ❤️ It actually looks better and more natural with age to me

Lane Atkinson: Remember, the silverback gorilla is the STRONGEST! You earned your grey hair through your endurance, only the strong and fortunate get the privilege to survive long enough to see this bodily transformation! I think it's a very beautiful thing ❤

Wild Flower: She is so beautiful and looks better with the grey I might add. My best fried is ditching dye and I’m ditching henna and we’re going to let our grey hair shine through.

leemah beemah: I’ve never dyed my hair. I love my gray hair. She is beautiful and so is her hair!!!

Knowledge Is Profit: Yes! The natural aging process is most beautiful.❤️

Pen Max: Love love love her gray hair! What inspiration!!! Thank You!

Jayz Bond: Am in my mid 40s and have just started growing my greys, no more hair dye. I've come to learn to love myself as I am, no need to impress anyone as long as am happy with whom I am, all that matters.

Nikita Donley: 31 and developed an inch wide strip of grey hair about a year ago. It started as a much thinner strip and now it sits at about an inch on the right side of my part and beginning on the left in much the same intensity. It's almost as if I'm going to go grey from there out. Not a hair here and there. The boyfriend calls it my rogue stripe and I must admit, I love it too. As someone who has basically not changed in size, shape or much physically at all since the 8th grade, it's kinda nice to have something that lets me feel more grown up. Still doesn't stop the Walmart cashier from asking for ID for whiteout or a rated R movie though.

Ms.Krueger: It does become time consuming. I started coloring my hair because I was 36 when my last son came along. People thought I was his grandma. I colored my hair till I was 50. I like my gray hair. It is white, a nice color, not gray or yellowish. I get a lot of compliments!!

Jancelina 2782: I am going on 39 years old and over a year now I have been transitioning to my natural grey color. I love how the white is shining bright in the front and am excited to see how it grows out!

J D: I stopped coloring my hair 2 years ago. I love my beautiful gray hair. Ladies embrace your natural beauty!

Debbie: She looks so elegant. I am trying to resist coloring my hair, I have 1 1/2 inches of new hair growth (gray) and it's driving me nuts! I know it has alot to do with getting older and have a hard time accepting that, and I'll be 52 this December.

Theia Blakesley: Been embracing my grays since I was 15, hereditary gray hair clan

juan lopez: Her hair looks amazing!!! I hope my hair looks this fabulous when I'm older

ESarahh Food: I dithed the hair dye 2 years ago and now I'm proudly gray. Though not fully grey yet just because I have a long hair. Thanks for sharing this awesome video. xxx

Annie MacLeod: Some women look even better and feel so free when they ditch the dye, others feel washed out and less vibrant and go back to dying. Ladies, don't feel pressured either by society or by Silver Sisters who just happened to look incredibly stunning with silver hair. Do what feels good for you!

ileana manzana: I sent this to my mom, who looks so beautiful with a full head of greys but became insecure about it recently and started dying her hair again.

Toby Slaphel: I think any type of aging is absolutely beautiful!!

katherine owian: She is beautiful both ways. I have done the same thing. My grey is not as noticeable. Stopping the hair coloring has been freeing. Plus the time saved is amazing. My hair texture has changed as well.

Karrie H: You look amazing! I still lack the courage to let my gray come out but you've inspired me!

BookOfGenesis: It’s a blessing to be gray... it means you’re privileged to experience life. Some people never get to gray. ♥️♥️♥️ so beautiful

sheila ojiambo: I think you look great but I've not had such a good experience with gray hair . I've always had a strand or two of gray hair while growing up but when I got to 26 the number of gray hair increased but I still wasn't concerned about it until one day (@ 28) a coworker reacted to my gray hair in a not so positive way. Shortly after that incident more people kept noticing the gray hair and asking questions until I decided to start dyeing my hair black. I think too much dyeing has caused my hair to become very coarse and brittle, I don't know what to do with my hair right now and I definitely can't let the gray show.

Belinda Rojas: You go girl, I'm 54 starting going grey at 13 now I'm all grey, ppl say I'm too young to have all this grey hair.

Self Love: Yes exactly how I'll be when I get older. Heck I have gray strands now and I love it!

suki oato: Her hair looks like Storm from the X-Men period and storm was a badass
