Welcome back. Today I'm sharing how I do my hair in a "messy'' bun with having super long hair. I do this hairstyle almost the same as my low bun tutorial. I will link that video at the end of this one if you haven't seen it!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na share with you a very simple hair tutorial. My hair is very long and very thick, and I wanted to show you how I can very easily get it up into this kind of messy bun. Okay, I'm gon na start with my two hair ties. Two hair ties just works better for my hair and holding it up and keeping my hair tight as I like it to be pretty tight, so I'm just gon na start off with getting some tangles out of my hair, I'm gon na start off with bringing my Hair up to where I want the bun to sit sort of like starting a ponytail before I show you how I do my hair because of the length, I will show you how I used to do it when it was a little bit shorter and what I Would do is, I would decide where I wanted it and I would pull it all the way through once and then on the second time or third time or however many times you have to do your hair tie. I would stop right there and then I would create this kind of like fan bun and then I would move on to the next step after that. But since my hair is so long and thick, I will show you what I do now so, instead of doing it that way, I start out the same way and I pull it through and I don't even pull it through all the way. Once I stop and then I twist it and then I do my bun like this, so it has like a bottom section and it has a top section and it just seems to control my hair and maintain it a little bit better. That'S even the right word. I have no idea so then, with my leftover hair, if you did it the first way that I showed you with just the one loop, you will continue with your hair right now, so I just start twisting it, and sometimes I actually braid this so that you Can see like a braid right here, but I'm just in a hurry and want to get my hair up and out of my way, I start twisting this and then I kind of find that hair tie and tuck this in and then this is what I have. But before I mess with this or do anything with this, I am going to fix the front of my hair because I personally don't like it flat on my head. So I'm just holding the back of my bun and pulling the front out. Well, it's a little bit too bumpy for me, but whatever you get it right so then I'm just pulling my little baby hairs out and then, if you're a mom you, these are literally baby hairs, because when you have baby your hair falls out and then it Grows back you get this so so now I'm gon na work with the bun portion of this. Let me scoot back so you can see and then I'm just gon na use my favorite hair pins, which look like this. I get them from Sally Beauty Supply and they come in a container like this, so I'm just gon na kind of take my hair pin and I'm going to grab some hair and I'm going to use the middle part that I wrapped around. I, like the middle twisted part as an anchor and I'm gon na stick my hair pins into that, and this never turns out the same, because I just randomly pick some stuff to pin and I'm sure you guys can probably hear my kids screaming cuz they're downstairs Right below me right now they are pretty loud. So so I'm just gon na keep pinning this until I like the way that it looks - and I can usually when I'm doing my hair in the bathroom to see back of my hair to. But I can't see it today, so I'm kind of just guessing, but I've done this so many times that I think I can get it so now. I'M gon na take my favorite hairspray and you douse my hair in it so yeah. So this is what it looks like. I have no idea what the back looks like. Hopefully it looks okay, cuz, I'm pretty sure my kids are not gon na. Give me any more time to record this video. I know we shouldn't, but sometimes when I go to church and I see everyone's beautiful hairstyles, I can't help to think that there's always looks better than mine, when in fact they just do the same thing to their hair that I do mine. Lol. And.... The baby hairs grow back? Well, seriously pray for me and my hair because for the past 20yrs. My baby hairs have not grown back. I'm thinking about applying some kind of growth serum just to the baby hairs, so that at least they can grow into my regular hair and I don't have to be concerned about them going stray or putting chemical hair spray/gel/mouse in it.
