Natural Hair Bun With Kanekalon Braiding Hair

Hey guys Today, I'm going to show you how you can recreate this high bun, using just some braiding hair., That $ 1.99 pack of beauty supply store, braiding hair., I'm starting off on freshly blow dried hair., I'm going to be using some ouchless bands from Goody as Well, as a leave-in before I apply my styler., This particular leave-in is the Caramel Souffle from Keraveda.. You can use whatever you like., Depending on your particular preference. You can use either an edge control or a gel. Edge. Control is going to give you more of a effortless look.. It'S not going to be as slick as you may want it. Or if you would like to go for a sleek perfected. Look you can add in some Eco Styler.. This is the look that I achieved with just the edge control.. This was the ORS Olive Oil brand.. I personally am going to go for a sleek look., I'm just going to grab my Eco Styler Olive Oil gel.. This is going to be the maximum hold. A number 10.: I really want this to be nice and sleek and perfect.. So I'm going to use my boar bristle brush to smooth down the hairs and any fly aways.. I'M going to use this gel on the front and the back of my hair to make sure that this is really nice and polished.. I know you're probably wondering why did I put in leave-in before the gel I like to personally put a leave-in before I put on my gel or even a moisturizer, because the Eco Styler Gel can be a tad bit drying to my hair.. I don't want a hard or crispy hold.. I just want it to be nice and sleek, but still soft to the touch.. I'M just going to go ahead and create my ponytail and on the last wrap around I'm going to create my bun. All in one.. Here is my base, I'm using the Jumbo Braid.. This is regular, braiding hair.. This is from the Beauty Supply Store.. It was just $ 1.99 for the pack.. This is synthetic 100 % Kanekalon hair. For this particular hairstyle. You want to take the hair straight out of the pack. You're, not going to cut it down the middle. We want to keep it as long as possible. Keep the rubber band on the hair and use this to attach it to your bun.. I'M going to use that rubber band to attach it to my bun., I'm going to wrap it around just twice. That should be secure for my particular hair.. You can wrap it around as many times as you may need to., I'm going to take the braiding hair and stick to the back of my head so that I can begin wrapping it around the bun.. I want to add some height to this bun, so I'm just going to bring it forward over the bun instead of wrapping it around the bun., I'm going to spread out the hair to make sure that it's cover up my natural hair., I'm going to use my Goody Ouchless band to hold this in place., Now that I've got that secure, I'm going to fluff out and create as much volume as I possibly can with the bun before I wrap the last piece., I'm going to wrap the piece from the front around to the Back and bobby pin it into place., You can keep it as loose or as tight as you want it.. I want a nice voluminous bun, so I'm going to go ahead and spread it out.. You guys know that I love big hair., I'm just going to use some Goody Bobby pins to hold this secure in place., I'm going to wrap the ends around the elastic.. Now that we have that finished, you're going to have a little roll at the top of your bun. You're, going to stick your fingers through that roll and bring it forward to cover up the bun.. You can bobby pin this in place to have a more seamless look. There. You have it A high bun using some $ 1.99 braiding hair..
