Margret Christie: I like the twiddly bits that are the finishing touches, but doing a French twist is much easier by simply drawing the hair back and twisting it towards the crown from the nape, which creates a roll, then tuck in the ends and pin in place at the back of the head. I've seen it done with as few as two hairpins, easy and quick. The padding which increases the volume of the roll is not strictly necessary, but could still be applied. I suspect that a little thought could find a way to add the additional plat flourishes which finish off the design here.

Cosmo Dawn: for those saying they don't have thick enough or long enough hair to do this you can always get some braiding hair and add it into your own. It's not even expensive either. But it's perfect for styles where you need more hair and longer hair that are updos or braids. Plus braiding hair although straight just has a like thicker fuller kind of texture. So it makes it even better for stuff like this.
