Hey curlfriends and welcome back In today's video, I'm going to show you guys how to create this natural hair bun with loc jewelry. We're starting off on a twist out.. I achieved this twist out with the Creme Brulee from Keraveda.. I'M just wetting down my hair. With this leave-in from Carol's Daughter., This is from their Almond Milk Collection and I love to start off with this leave-in because it get's nice, moist and manageable, so that I can get into my styles much more easily., I'm starting off on a really fresh twist out. But you can do this on a really old twist out if you prefer., This hairstyle calls for 3 ponytails. So I'm just starting off with my crown., I'm going about 3-4 inches behind my hairline and I'm just creating my very first ponytail.. It'S pretty much lined up with the tips of my eyebrows., Then I'll have 2 proceeding ponytails on the left and right. Taking those Goody, hair elastics down. They were my place holders, I'm going to go ahead and tie up the back of my head and begin to define these parts.. I want these parts to be nice and crisp because they are going to be showing in the hairstyle.. You could just go back in.. I'M using a rat tail comb just to define and make sure that they're super straight, exactly how I like it.. I don't want these parts to be crooked. At all.. This is another $ 1 hairstyle. Ya'll know I've been on this one dollar dollar tree tip. So I'm using this Super Looks gel from the Dollar Tree.. It cost me one dollar., I'm just putting it on my hair and I'm brushing it in with a soft bristle brush. Just grab a little rubber hair elastic and put that ponytail into place.. This will be my final polished ponytail. Pay attention to your fly. Aways.. You want these ponytails to be nice and sleek, but not super tight.. Don'T pull on your hair too tight and do not tie these rubber bands way too tight.. They will cause a lot of tension and breakage in your natural hair., I'm going in and just doing a little bit with my edges, just laying them down a little bit just so I can get a nice polished. Look at the end.. We can move into our actual bun.. Now I'm grabbing my Goody hair elastic.. These are the really large headbands. They're. The only bands that hold my hair up in ponytails, because my hair is super thick.. So I just wrapped it around my head., I'm going to wrap it around about 2-3 times and just wrap the excess around the ponytail itself.. You guys will see what I mean.. This is my 3rd time wrapping the ponytail holder in place.. I just pretty much pull on it like a drawstring on the opposite side to make it super tight and make everything hold together.. I took the ends and just twirled them around each other and wrapped that around the base of the ponytail itself. Take a bobby pin to put in the excess elastic.. I just fluff the ponytail into place to make it super nice and voluminous., As you guys can see. The definition from my twist out is POPPING, But if you create this hairstyle on an old twist out, you'll get a nice very full voluminous puff.. I just added in some loc jewelry that I got from the Beauty Supply Store to give it more of an edgy put together look., You could be done with this entire step.. This could be your entire full hairstyle.. I wanted to go for a bun., So I grabbed a small Goody, hair elastic and just wrapped that around to give it a final polished. Look. Here is my final bun with loc jewelry. I hope you guys enjoyed this cheap Dollar Store friendly tutorial.. I love you guys and I'll see you guys in the next video
