Hi uh today's video is all about hair care. This is, i think, one of the very first like super, maybe even the first super in-depth hair care. Video i've ever done. I'Ve kind of talked about this a little bit on tick-tock, because i have really really really been putting a lot more effort into my hair over the past four or five months. I have noticed such an amazing difference in the quality of my hair, how it feels how it styles, everything it has been like night and day, because i always have been so obsessed with skincare and beauty products. But i've never focused that much on my hair because it's always been a world that i've not really known that much about. So i really did a deep dive and found products that my hair loved things that i loved and like just techniques that i found help make my hair really soft and there is no rice water in this video. I know tick. Tock loves that so before we get into the video of course, i have to say that i have my other social medias like instagram and tick tock, linked in the description below, as well as all the products that i'll be talking about. Today. Don'T forget to give this video a like and subscribe if you'd like to see more videos like this and let's get into the video so to start off, i want to show you guys a few things that i've changed up in my routine. That really really make a significant difference. First is a silk pillowcase which i've used for years, but i figured i would talk about it. It'S pretty self-explanatory. We'Ve heard this a million times helps reduce breakage, really good for your skin, etc, etc. A microfiber towel is another thing that i feel like a lot of us have heard about, and it is such a game. Changer highly recommend investing in some of these. Your hair is at its most fragile when it's wet, you don't want to be putting anything. That is going to cause any breakage on your hair. This was a big thing for me during quarantine, because i would wear my hair up almost every day and i was noticing so much breakage and so many baby hairs that i never had before. And it took me a while to figure out that it was my hair elastics from putting my hair up in a bun or a ponytail or whatever it was so i switched to either using silk hair ties or, like jaw clamps. I don't know what they're called hair clips. I have noticed such a difference. I'Ve noticed a difference in the way that my scalp feels as well, which is interesting because i feel like those hair ties are high, like intensity hold, hair ties and it always kind of hurt my scalp a bit, whereas these are a little bit more gentler. In your hair on your scalp still characterized, i know sounds silly, but trust me. It makes such a big difference. It'S a game. Changer go get them so now that i've got those down, i can hop into shampoo and conditioners that i absolutely adore. I have been going through so many shampoos and conditioners trying to find the ones that i absolutely love and what i've landed on is the redken all soft shampoo, and i use that with the all soft mega conditioner. I know it might sound a little bit silly, but with the all soft mega shampoo, i felt like my hair was just a little bit too soft like it was getting greasy fast and i wasn't washing my hair every day. So i switched to the regular all soft and i noticed a big difference and i think it's like my perfect combo right now. The water in our house is a little bit on the hard side. We get some of that soap. Scum, build up so keep that in mind that how soft or hard your water is can kind of change how shampoos uh work on your hair. These leave my hair, so soft, so moisturized, i've noticed less breakage since i've started using them overall, like my hair, just feels so different, even in the shower, when i'm washing it getting into treatments that i use. I have a lot here to talk about once a week i'll use the redken all soft heavy cream treatment. I absolutely love this. I think it keeps my hair, so soft and i notice a big difference when i use this. The shampoo and conditioner combo is great. Adding this into my routine, i've noticed really gives my hair that extra oomph and really helps strengthen it as well. I use this on my hair last night. I don't know if you can tell. I have some other product in here as well, so it's maybe not as shiny as it would be, if i didn't add, mousse or anything into it and when i say once a week or twice a week when i talk about some of these treatments, it's kind Of a loose once a week or twice a week, i'll typically go by how my hair feels versus like every sunday. I do this or every wednesday do that. So that being said, one thing i have been using about once a week is the redken blue, toning, shampoo and conditioner duo. The shampoo and conditioner are very different sizes. This is the shampoo, and this is the conditioner. It'S only really like a one and a half ounce difference, but psychologically it feels like a really big difference. I don't know i just feel like i always use so much conditioner. I don't know. If that's just me, please. Let me know if that's just me in the comments honestly, so this is a blue toning shampoo, it's going to take any like brassiness or redness or oranges out of brown hair. I like using this just to kind of tone down my hair a little bit. I don't have any coloring in my hair. That'S a big question that i get a lot. I'Ve never colored my hair. Well, that's a lie. I have colored my hair, but there's no color in my hair right now. I have a blonde streak. I don't know if you can see it in here at all. That is a natural blonde streak. My dad went gray there when he was younger, there's a name for it that i always forget. I always have to google it every time someone asks me. I think it's like poliosis or something like that which sounds like polio, and it's not it's just a lack of pigmentation in a streak of your hair. So i really like using this just to kind of cool down my hair once a week i feel like it makes my hair just a touch darker, but i think it's just because it's getting rid of any of those red notes that would typically hit the sun. It doesn't make a significant difference in my opinion. I only use it once a week, though, because i have read reviews that say it does make a significant difference, if you're only using that, so i like to just mix it in here and there something i want to talk about that. I feel like. I never see people talk about online is dermatitis, i have it. I get flare-ups every so often, typically more so when i'm stressed - and i think this is maybe the obvious thing here - but tea gel is like the number one thing for me. That really works i'll. Put this on my scalp and leave this on as like a scalp mask for 10 minutes or 15 minutes whatever, before washing it out and conditioning my hair, i also highly recommend going to a dermatologist and actually getting a shampoo prescribed to you. I'Ve had that as well, and it works really well, but for me personally, i've noticed t gel also works great as long as i also do things to try to prevent flare-ups. Obviously trying not to be stressed is not an easy thing to do so. Another thing that i notice really causes my flare-ups is: if i go to bed with wet hair, or if i put my hair up when it's wet, i think it's just the water getting trapped and irritating my scalp. I don't know if it's excess product or what, but whenever my hair is wet for too long, i always get a flare up. So i try to make sure that my hair is always dry before i go to bed, no matter what another thing i use to prevent flare-ups. Is this happy scalp scrub by drunk elephant? This has aha and bhas in it that will help exfoliate dead skin and any products build up that are on your scalp. I'Ve noticed such a significant difference using this. I really really love it. I think there's a lot of scalp scrubs out there, but i like that this one has some natural exfoliants in it to kind of help, keep your scalp from having any buildup on it. If i had to pick one product to recommend to you to implement into your hair care routine, it would be fractionated, coconut oil. This, i think, is the thing that has changed my hair care routine, the most of everything in this entire video. It has to be fractionated oil. It cannot be regular, coconut oil, this soaks into your hair, whereas regular coconut oil will sit on top of it and make your hair greasy, whereas this will actually really truly hydrate your hair. First of all, if i'm washing my hair a normal day, i will use a little bit of this. I don't go too crazy and just put it on like the mids to the ends of my hair, and i like to leave that on for 30 minutes or longer before i hop into the shower and wash my hair like normal on days, where i forget to Do that or i don't have time to do that, i will use the aqua's prime water defense pre-wash, so this is by the same brand that does those microfiber hair towels that i absolutely love. I don't really know if this 100 truly does anything, but it says it protects hair against damage caused by water during washing and drying and reduces hair swelling by 40, which to be completely honest with you, i don't know what that means. I just like the thought of something that helps to strengthen my hair, especially going into the shower. If i don't have a chance to give it a little extra hydration, it's just an extra step here and i've. I'Ve been really liking it, but i've only used this for about a month. I don't know if i noticed such a huge difference in it that i've continued using it. I feel like it might be one of those things where you don't notice it working, but you will notice it working when you stop using it. You know what i mean in addition to that. I will once a week every other week, depending on how my hair is feeling do a deep oil treatment, and i will use my fractionated coconut oil with an equal part of castor oil and then to those two oils. I will add a couple more oils and i specifically picked these to soothe my scalp because of the dermatitis and to stimulate hair growth and hair fullness. Because, a couple of years ago i was losing my hair from stress and i feel like i'm still really working back to like that - really full head of hair that i had before, and i've noticed honestly a huge difference. Since i've started doing these oil treatments in the like five months that i've been doing them, i use rosemary essential oil and amla fruit. Oil, and these both are amazing, i would say, do not use rosemary oil on its own because it can burn you. So be careful with how much of this you use, i will never use as much of either of these, as i do with the other two carrier oils. You always want to use like a good amount of bees and then an accent of these. So what i'll do with those is? I mix them together, put that all over my hair on my scalp everywhere i'll give myself a good long, scalp, massage to really get my follicles stimulated and stimulate hair growth, etc, etc. Stick that up in a bun and i'll leave that on for at least two hours, preferably like six to 12 hours. Typically, i like to do this during the day, because i like to use a lot of oil and that gets everywhere when i sleep on it. So i will just pick a day where i don't have anything to do and just decide. This is my oil day and when i wash my hair out, i like to use the whey detox shampoo. I noticed that the redken shampoo does not get this oil out. Well, but i will typically shampoo my hair twice with this and then use the redken all soft mega conditioner, and it leaves my hair unbelievably soft and not greasy whatsoever, and i do find that this detox shampoo is a bit too strong to use all the time Which is why i just use it when i do these oil treatments and i need to get the excess oil out once i'm out of the shower and i've used my microfiber hair towel. I tend to like to use the kenra silken and gloss. I love the smell of this. It kind of honestly smells like candy. So if you don't like that, i would not recommend getting it. I'M still trying to find my perfect, like serum, to put in my hair after um i've washed it, but this one is the one that i've been using and i really love it. So i will update you guys once i find like my perfect one. So i think from here, if i go into styling products, this video is going to get crazy long. So i am going to leave that for another video, but if you guys have any specific products that you're wondering about or hairstyles that you'd like me to do a video on please let me know in the comments below and i just wanted to say thank you. So much and i will see you guys in my next video you

M O: Can you do a hair tutorial on how you style it like in this video?!! It looks so pretty

Neo Z: We need a tutorial of your hair in this video! It's so full and bouncy!!

d r: My hair type, color, and even cut is so similar to yours so I’ll be using these tips religiously if it will help enhance my hair as much as it has yours! Also dying to try that Redken blue shampoo, as I have very auburny undertones in my brown hair that I’d like to cool down without dyeing! Thank you always! xx

Elle J. Byrd: I’m not sure where my comment went but I just wanted to say the BIGGEST difference I made was letting my hair dry completely before going to bed! I used to just shower and go to bed and didn’t realize THAT’s why my hair didn’t look silky!

Jessica Clements: Forgot to mention this in the video! I only wash my hair three times a week OR whenever I use products that can be drying for hair like mousse, hair spray, dry shampoo, etc. I try not to leave those product in my hair any longer than a day because they can make your hair very fragile and brittle. ESP dry shampoo! It is a last resort!

lauren J: Your hair always looks beautiful. I think having natural virgin hair is a major reason why your hair looks so good. I use olaplex 3 overnight twice a week, olaplex 6 after washing it, and sleep in braids instead of using curling irons or blow dryers, it significantly helped my hair. Also do not put typical coconut oil in your hair lol.

Yvonne Medina: this is such a huge help!!! your hair looks amazing ‍♀️

Amanda Carmela: This is amazing! I love Redken but was always so intimidated by their lines I had no idea which ones to choose. And my dry scalp is soo aggravating I can’t wait to try these products thank you so much for sharing all these with us!!

Kayla Bruner: Thanks for sharing!! Seems like you're starting to get your routine down. The silk pillowcase/hairties are something I know I should be doing but haven't, so thanks for the push to get them! :)

Snowleopard_x3: You have the most gorgeous hair! Random hack: If you oil your hair and have a hard time washing it out, try to 'shampoo' your hair with conditioner first and then with shampoo. It made a huge difference for me, it gets the oils out a lot faster and easier! :)

Alice22: I was having so much hair loss ... I then recently switched to silk hair tie, silk pillowcase and a microfiber towel and omg it made a difference right away

Haylo.IS.NOT.Halo:p: My hair drinks up every conditioner I use. I usually go through 1.5 bottles of conditioner for every bottle of shampoo with short/medium length hair but now that my hair is growing even longer and thicker im getting closer to using 2 bottles of conditioner for every bottle of shampoo. You are not alone.

Della Mayorais: First time watching your videos ❤️ - very beautiful, elegant, feminine, groomed girl Loving your makeup here & hair are truly amazing

Susanna PA: Omg! This is what i needed! I went through a lot of stress and my scalp is so dry and full of little pieces of “skin” or similar.. i’ll try your tips

Aiag97: love you jess! been watching you since the beginning when you had 50k subscribers! (also showing this hair color to my hairdresser) :)

Abby McGuire: She reminds me of Brooke Shields, there’s an interview of her at 17 or so and she looks and talks just like this! Beautiful.

Tunku Intan Nadia Tunku Noorzaman: I love this video. Can you do body care and grooming next? like what body scrubs, oils, lotion you use or recommend..

Yamilett Ramirez: Your hair is gorgeous it has so much volume I need a tutorial pls!!

Fada Vieira Chaib: Just to take away a misconception: soft doesn't equal moisturized. What lubricates your hair is conditioner, not moisturizer.

gunita: Ahhh been waiting for this routine!! Thank you for sharing it with us! As for after-shower serums/oils, I've been trying out the Bread hair oil (sold out from Sephora recently I think?) and liking it, check it out!

Fada Vieira Chaib: I relate so much with the beginning of the video when you say you are very into skincare but haircare is another world that you had to really dive in to find good products. That is a lot of sources for skincare nowadays, but most haircare videos/blogs are usually a scam.

Aisha Bilgrammi: girl we need a hair tutorial your perfect

ShiningWithLove: Beautiful! Excited to see styling products because your bouncy volume here is amazing ❤️

X: Jess I remember you’ve had the hairstyle that is super trendy now for years! Always thought it looked so perfect

ready_set_Q: Love your voluminous luscious hair~! Please do a video on your Hair Growth Journey talking more in depth about the products/routine/which oils that actually helped as someone close to me have been struggling with hair loss too & I've tried researching on different hair growth products but still have no idea which to get her for the longest time with the mixed reviews here & there...& am concerned if any of the oil products would clog her pores or worsened it instead... Luv ya as always xoxo <3

ro: Obrigada pelas dicas!

K Lu: You’ve always had really amazing hair.

Индийская девушка: You look so healthy and glowing in your new videos✨

Angela Leiby: Also part of the equation: Good genetics + sponsored video= great hair! You do have beautiful hair, you can thank your ancestors for that

Mem: girl argan oil on your ends as a leave in after it’s washed is perfect and helps protect against sun damage + velvet scrunches bomb too

Nisrine Ben rhouma: Why is Nobody Talking about how pretty she is like Girl you are stunning

Fuzzy loveBits: oh darling, your hair definitely looks wonderful.

RUAA AA: Thank you very much for this video. I hope my hair will be like yours, beautiful, soft and dense

waad g.: WE NEED THE HAIR TUTORIAL PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!

Lanvy Nguyen: Please release a hair tutorial! It’s so pretty!!

Aliya Sayed: Can you pleaseeee do a video on the steps you took to tackle hairfall due to stress?

francescamssc22: Hi Jessica, I love how your hair looks in this video!! By the way can you try and review the famous gisou infused hair oil? I want to buy it, but I wonder if it's really worth it... And also I am looking for something that helps me with flyaways, I don't why I have so many lately since I use microfiber towels, don't style it with tools and wash my hair 3 times a week...

aghgirl 02: Girl yes my conditioner bottle is always empty before my shampoo bottle and it’s so frustrating lol

Anmol 9312: my first time watching her video, first off wow, she is soooo beautiful and such a lovely and informative video. xo

Jean Lou Sanz: Always always always so beautiful! ❤️

M M: How much of the two oils and how many drops of the essential oils do you exactly use? and do you also put the oils on your ends?

sn12: i would highly recommend the innate life rose oil for a serum if you are still looking for one. their shampoos are excellent as well esp. for hair oil days. they are owned by a Indian-Canadian who grew up using the traditional coconut oil baths that indian women have been doing for centuries so her products all have herbs and oils like amla etc that are traditional to the indian culture. Highly recommend them plus they are an indie brand so i love supporting them!

Gracie: i think the weather/climate has a big role of your hair condition. Like for example i live in a tropical country that it's humid most of the time, and most of us having no AC in their house, like we have to do all hair care necessary to keep our hair healthy. But sometimes it's just hard to keep up for most. And from what i have observed is most people do their hair care in a more natural way, like making their own coconut milk/oil, hair masks from fruits available in their kitchen or even in their own backyard. btw. you are so gorgeous! and your hair too.

Daniella Marsam: Can you do a hair tutorial on how you got your bouncy waves in this video?

Hair Growth Advance: Coconut Oil and Castor Oil is such a good combo! Thumbs up

Sassy Bitch: Hello. I'm new to this & I've never done this before but where do you buy the Fractionated coconut oil? Thank you

ummay samia: Would love to see a video of how you created this hairstyle

Susana B.B.: Gorgeous hair

Kaira van Wijk: Question: if you put the oils on your scalp before you wash with shampoo will the oils actually sink into your hair follicles/pores? My scalp can get quite oily after a few days of not washing so that's why I'm wondering :) Thanks so much for the reply

Amber Jones: My hair is very curly and I need to straighten it often, but I think it can damage my hair.

Jenny Rose: Hello your video just popped up for me maybe cause I'm looking up hair product reviews. I enjoyed your suggedtions and I honestly say you are much more beautiful than most models or actresses you have a fresh vibrant look compared to so many cheap jaded styles popular today.

SUZAN: thank you so much for this :)

hairexplained: I really love all your hair accessories and oils

Jade Ozma Ashwood: Does anyone know a cheaper alternative to this shampoo and conditioner?

Hailey kim: Hi. I really like your lip and blush color. They are exactly what I was looking for, mauve soft pink. Could you please give me the information of lip and blush color? Thank you very much.

Kat Rummel: When you talk about the products you use We'd like for you to do demonstrations of how you use, style, use the oils etc to your hair.

NU17: Loved the video! Thank you for so much information. Is it possible to to get a tutorial of how you wash it and show how you do it each by step, sorry I’m such a visual person...

Orlando Hayden: I recommend you talk about fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.

iamMisha: Hello! You and your hair are beautiful~ I have a question! There is one shampoo that i use (Algopix is its name) for dandruff. It says that it could be also for oily hair (and ofc mine is oily). But that shampoo makes foam only in my hands and when i put it in my scalp, it isnt foam anymore and looks like i don't have shampoo at all! I washed my hair almost hour ago, but before that used a mix of oils for moisturizing. I used the shampoo as regularly and it seemed to me that the shampoo didnt washed the oils, even though when i was touching my hair it didnt feel sticky or something. So the question is that, should i continue to use another shampoo after that one, Algopix? The second one is more foamy than the first one. Thank you in advance!

clementines9: Which microfiber hair towel do you love? Do you have an amazon list of products you love? I’m trying to find a serum too! It’s hard because I live in Florida and it’s very humid lol

Jahangir Alam: You're Looking beautiful Queen... & Your Hair is Very Gorgeous... i loved

Neha: hey jessica also wanted to ask: what product shall i use on my neck if i can already see a few wrinkles or lines across my neck due to weight gain and then loss which left neck wrinkles. Im only 19

Lip Swatcher: Never used castor oil. Might give a try!

Donna Kok: What do you ask for when you get it cut? Getting mine cut in a week!

Natalie Borja: You're so gorgeous ✨

Dorothy Lisbon: You should research fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.

A M: do you get hair cut at home or on salon? if it's at home, could you please create a tutorial

F Wittig: We need a hair styling video!

TL0219: Can you include in the description if any of this was sponsored? Thanks!

Dev Fern: You look simply inmocent & beautiful. So dont bother too much.

N Rahman: i do extra virgin olive oil and refined organic coconut oil- do those not work for hair hydration?

Jessica E: Would you ever do a keratin treatment

Shula villaruel: So simple and beautiful person,

A: What's the brand you're using for scalp treatment? The link in your description is broken :(

Victoria Raney: What blush and lipstick are you wearing? You are stunning!

Westin Britt: A word of advice: look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

Tereza Trang: How do you curl your hair btw?!! I looooove your big curls!

Queen Faith: How do you use the t gel as a hair mask ? Do you wet your hair ? After that do you use any heat or just tie it and leave it ?

Marie Lou: Wooow i have that blonde streak as well and didnt know theres a name for it!

Stace Léonard: Would love to see how you got your hair to look like it does in this video!!

Heather Hall: What kind of hair cut should I request if I want these layers with the side bangs? My hair is currently down to my bum so I need a change

Asli Hassan: she said "i use this once a week" so many time. am like how many times do u wash ur hair in a week? and she said she doesn't wash her hair everyday.

hamster12a: What do you ask for at the hairdressers to get this style of haircut?

G: You remind me of someone from an 80’s show like Kelly Kapowski or something, you just have the natural gorgeous look :)

adg_rzon: You look like a real life version of Aurora/Sleeping Beauty. ^_^

Neha: oh thank heavenly lord!!! do u know how frikkin long ive been waiting for this
