Today, I want to tell you something about hair care for fine and thin hair. You know this is not my area of expertise, as my hair is rather big for my heck hair. It'S important to be nourishing to give my hair what it means if it comes to taking care of fine hair, which means the single hair is rather thin or thin hair, which means your ponytails circumference altogether is rather small. You have to be more selective. I know my heck hair doesn't work for everyone, so I got myself some help to show you how to make the best out of fine hair too. After this, you will know tips for both extremes and can choose what's best for your hair. So, together with my friend, Sabrina and hi kit, I try to put together three golden rules for growing and keeping a thin long. Hair number one very popular amongst people who try to grow their hair is to protract the rhythm of you of washing to reduce the mechanical strain for the hair. This is a thing that almost doesn't work for fine hair. As you see it immediately, when your hair starts getting greasy, this is why I say wash your hair rather often, but gentle on to the next point. If your hair is fresh and clean, only use leavings sparingly. That means products that remain in your hair until you wash it next time with fine hair, it's easy to use too much product and then the hair looks stringing only use drips of it and approach carefully to the right amount. Rule number three is important for long hair in general, but especially for fine and thin long hair handle your hair carefully. It'S very sensitive brush, it gentle, don't tear the brush through your hair, expressing stylings with heat or sticky. Products like hair spray are even worse for fine hair got it so far. Now we go in a little bit deeper. Washing your hair is no care. It'S cleaning. That means stress for your hair to reduce the strain you should was gentle but of course make sure the hair is clean. If you wash rather often, you should take extra care of your scalp. Really recommendable is a scalp massage with a boar bristle brush like you. Can see here right before washing the hair? Also, really pleasing is an oil treatment for your scalp or the yoga treatment. You maybe already know from my personal hair care just make sure to wash it out thoroughly. What you also could already know from my personal hair care is scalp, wash it's a great way to protect the length of your hair in my personal hair care routine. I already show you how this works and why this is so great for long hair. If you use some treatment for your scalp, you should rather shampoo twice if something after treatment remains in your hair, it starts looking greasy and faster. This must not happen, but it's rather likely to appear with thin hair as it can absorb much less product and thicker hair when it comes to shampoo the three of us, so hi, kids, Sabrina and me prefer the desert essence coconut shampoo. Beside that, my friends have individual preferences like a shampoo from mix, my shampoo or the shown shampoo from data sense. This is always very individual. You just have to try different products to make it more easy to comb your hair or to wash out length treatments. It'S necessary to have a matching conditioner, just like with the shampoo, it's very individual. Some examples which you work for hike and Sabrina are from German brands called Alberta and Altera, or the banana conditioner from Body Shop. It'S important that the product does not wear your hair down, but leave it rather fluffy and light. They should not feel sticky. As already mentioned you should use leave, ends very carefully. You should only use tiny tiny amounts to keep your hair from flying. It can be easier to use creams instead of oils, as you can distribute them more evenly. Finding a matching living was the hardest part for my friend Heidi when she was looking for the perfect hair routine hiking really likes the pre mindmeister Iser nipple cream. You can get for nursing, moms or the protein leave-in spray. I already showed you Sabrina, for example, loves to calendula cream from canipe, both of them. Don'T really like oil for their hair care hike. Is ourselves looking stringy while Sabrina's hair starts flying around like crazy, an emergency tip is regular hand cream. Just take anything you can D put on your fingers and run through your hair. Hair stylists usually recommend for fine hair, something to make it more voluminous and maximize the grip for this. You can tease curl or blow-dry your hair or even die blonde highlights all those things work, but they really damage to hair. If you want to grow your fine hair long, you have to decide against all those things and keep your hair as healthy as possible, because this is the only way you can get it longer. You cannot have died and heat styled find her. If you want to grow it long at the same time now we're at the end thin hair is likely to be noticed. Us not beautiful and it's not possible to grow it long, but come on. Look at Sabrina's, beautiful and silky long hair. Fine hair is sometimes pushed into more volume and therefore loses its special lightness and aesthetics. This is something you cannot reach with thicker hair, for example. You could say fine hair does not need a lot of styling to pump it up and make it look big. It only needs what it looks like soft and gentle care to preserve its natural beauty. I hope all those tips helped you to make the most out of your specific hair type, have fun

Éanna Cristin Doyle: So inspiring to see someone with fine baby-thin hair that's VERY long. It shows me what it possible as I've been told many times that it is impossible to grow out fine hair. Thank you for this video!

jalouxdelabanane: Finally a video thats actually helpful and not just some girl born with thick hair talking about hair tips :)

Tenaya Cooley: I am so glad to have found this video. It makes me feel good about my very fine Scandinavian/German hair instead of telling me I need to be making it look thicker. When you use the commonly recommended thickening techniques, it often damages fine hair, causing it to lose its silkiness. Fine hair is beautiful, and should be accepted as it is!

Mia Hansen: Honestly I love this video and I've watched this so many times. There aren't enough long hair care videos for long hair that is thin AND baby fine. Very inspiring!

Luiza Marques: Thank you SO much for making this video! I feel like fine hair doesn't get much attention, and as I fine haired lady myself, it makes me so happy that a hair inspiration like you would make a video that works for me! Thank you so much. Also, the eng also helped quite a lot.

Katerina Dennison: Thank you so much for this! I feel like fine hair isn't represented as much in the long hair community. Everybody seems to get on my case for washing my hair every day(or every other day sometimes) but my hair is so fine it looks greasy by the end of 24 hours. So glad to see I'm not the only one. I'd love to see more of your fine haired friends and I hope we will in future.

can we not: This is amazing, thank you! I'm actually mostly of German ancestry and have really similar hair to you and your friends -- I've always been surrounded by people with normal or thick hair and all the haircare advice here in the US seems to be aimed at thicker hair. I really want to grow my hair to my waist, so I'll try these tips.

Seven Ellen: I was feeling down earlier about my hair, as it's both fine AND thin, but this has given me a real boost of hope I can still grow it long and like it by doing things better/differently. :-) Your kind words were so effective. Thank you.

Luna Stella: I have very healthy fine hair that is knee length and find that a few drops of flax seed oil smoothed on the bottom half of my hair keeps the hair soft, silky, and easy to brush through in between shampoo without looking greasy. Thank you for your English videos I can finally really enjoy the information. Danke

Ruby Lace: Thank you <33 I'm a fine hair and what has made a huge difference for me is not combing while it's wet.. not even a wide tooth comb. Brush before you shower and detangle gently when its completely dry

Your Mom: My hair is not this thin but really finally a video that covers girls with actual fine hair.

loveneverfails310: can Sabrina do more videos on her fine and thin hair and how she grew it so long? thank u!!!! We would all love to see more from her

Yedi Corps: My hair has thinned out a whole lot. I’ve been wanting it to grow. Yet I’ve been scared to. This video has given me motivation to do so! Thank you!

Cheese Puff: Thank you for this video! I have fine hair and hairdressers are always trying to chop it all off. I don't know if I can grow long hair, but it sure is nice to see the long and beautiful fine hair your friends have! It makes me feel better and gives me hope to see their hair. Long fine hair can absolutely be beautiful! ❤️

Officer T: Found this link on LHC ;) THANK YOU for this video!!! I have fine hair, in school my ponytail was referred to as "depressing" by a "friend" with super thick, coarse hair. I've been learning to love it, and this video helps so much! Maybe we can't make huge braids and our hair is easy to damage, but it is floaty and delicate like clouds, and that lightness is special all on it's own! :)

Classykisses: Heike might like rice water rinses! They really help thin hairs retain length & add volume.

Lauren Hill: Thankyou Yesss I have been looking for a video like this for ages! My hair is medium thickness but looks thinner the longer is gets, it is also curly so I have that battle as well. Currently at bra strap length

Poppy: My hair isn’t thin but I don’t think thin hair is ugly at all aslong as you’ve taken care of it, a shiny head of hair that is thin is more beautiful than thick damaged ratty hair.

Blythe Vrindavana: Thanks for the English video! I do like oils for my fine, classic length hair, but I have to be very careful with the amount, rub it onto my palms, and then smooth it through the ends. Coconut oil helps protect my hair from sun damage.

Kimba: Very helpful. Been growing mine for 6 years now. I have a question. How do you prevent hair from feeling like its pulling or tender scalp?

hyerac1: Thank you for focusing on fine and thin hair. This was very helpful! Vielen dank!

Ivy Gray: My hair is finally growing past my shoulders and I can't see a million flyaways that have broken climbing all the way up my hair. Thank you so much.

bik: Thank you so much for this video! i have thin, fine classic length hair and I very rarely can find any videos for my hair type from the long hair community because a lot of the women have thick hair.

Indah Alfiani: I have fine and thin hair. Sabrina's hair is sooooo beautiful. I wish that I can grow my hair long. Thanks for this video.

Chrissy M: Wow thank you for posting this. I've always had thin hair and you're comments about it make me question why I dislike it and wish it were thicker.

VillaT: The washing the roots in a braid, so genius!

luvmytorties: Thank you for doing a video on us fine haired folks. It's been a real struggle getting our hair long and healthy. Bonus was it was it english.

Amelia Roach: Thanks for the vid!!!!! My family thinks that I can't have long hair (since its thin) but now I can prove them wrong

Renee: I feel like my ends are thin but like my roots have so much new growth and volume.... I noticed I have lots of long baby hairs adding to the overall thickness. I recommend hemp seed oil + olive oil+ argan oil ....either one works wonders on it's own

kiwi crochet: Excellent video. Thank you so much. Please do more for my fine hair

Marloes Tibben: This was really helpfull! I also have fine hair and me tip is to put the leave in conditioner of oil in wet hair after you dryed it a little in a towel. It won't becom that oily.

Elisabeth Karlsen: Thanks for these English videos! Could you do some of your other german ones in English too? Thanks!

teresalamala: YAAAAAYYYYY Thank you very much Vanessa! Now I get everything! hugs from Spain

Dr. Osman: Thanks for this! Please do an english protein leave-in <3

BirdandCatLover: If my hair was longer, it would be nearly identical to Sabrina! I’ll have to check out the products.

Pujita Shil: I really loved the video my hair is not thick but its in the mid of thin and fine i felt as if this video was for me and 3 different ppl and their choices .wow thats nice

Katharina Apelsmeier: Wow! Amazing hair! ;-)

Mi Chele: My hair is very thin like the girl with the medium length brownish hair but naturally blonde like the first girl.... and it's wavy/curly!!! I cannot brush my hair or let it dry naturally. It is a disaster. I kept it very short for about 20 years until I found out about how to care for curly hair. It was a lifesaver. Thanks for posting this even tho it doesn't apply to me specifically. There are too few videos or blogs for natural blondes with thin and fine hair.

Spooky Puff: Your hair is so beautiful!!

Dany E: Hallo! Deine Hair Care Anleitungen finde ich richtig super! Könntest Du uns Produkte empfehlen, die schönere Locken zaubern? !

loveneverfails310: please post more videos on fine and thin hair!!!

Joselinesxndy: mach bitteeeeee wieder deutsche videos, ich habe sie sooooo geliebt

cats are my life forever! !!: thank you thank you thank youuuuuu so much for this video, I have really thin hair and I want to grow it longer, right now it is at my waist

Isabelle Svensson: Hallo I´m from Sweden and have a question you should shower cold water in winter or summer ?

Big Sean: Does somebody know a good leave in conditioner for damaged hair?

Barbie: What if your individual hairs are baby fine, but you have a lot of hair/very thick ponytail?

loveneverfails310: please make more videos on growing fine thin long hair

Stephanie Gertsch: ich würde es sehr cool finden wenn du deutsche videos mit englischem Untertitel oder englische videos mit deutschem Untertitel machen würdest

Josefina Rojas: i have thin hair, but a lot of it. it looks thick, but each strand is baby like. I can put too much product very quickli, so this helps

Francine Southern: Thank you so much for your video. My hair is much like your blond friend but not as long. Can you tell me what type of bun she is wearing. Thank you.

Angelina Lieble: Ein Kanal von ihnen wäre soo cool

Ellisinwonderland92: Yesterday is bought the Nipple cream you recommend at the DM, I applied it before going to bed after i washed it and my hair now is a mess! Really dry ... had to put it up in a bun .. What am i doing wrong?

Sonja: Kannst du bitte bitte mehr Videos über dünnes/feines Haar machen?

Indah Alfiani: Please more video about fine and thin hair.

Teresa Gutiérrez Vélez: your hair is goals

juliesquirrel: I feel like I just watched a documentary about forest fairies, all with extremely long hair

lara arslan: Ich habe mir nach deiner Empfehlung den desert Essence Kokosnuss conditioner gekauft aber da ist Alkohol drin und in den kerastase Produkten auch, ist das nicht vollkommen schlecht?

Stormpen2010: Hii, when you say wash often, what exactly do you mean?

Charlea: My hair is a bit thin but it’s not overly fine so it doesn’t give the gorgeous silky fluffy effect of these girls and it doesn’t have a lot of movement. I guess I need to find a compromise between the two routines

Heaven Leen: thank you very much. my hair is very thin ang long.
