Hello hi everyone: what kind of skin care with Hyrum? If you don't know who I am my name - is Hiram and I'm passionate about teaching you how to perfect your skin care routine. So make sure you subscribe to my channel and to the notification bell. So you can see my videos every single week also be sure to subscribe to my second youtube channel that I just announced called selfless. It'S focused on empowering you to make a positive difference in the world, with only your phone so go to the link in the description box to subscribe. Don'T you just love it when you spend an hour filming a video and then it takes roughly 3 hours to edit before you realize that your audio file is corrupted and you can't use any of it and you have to refilm it because that's what just happened? My job in this video I'm going to be talking all about hair care. How I take care of my her? No, I know you guys are watching thinking Hyrum. No one wants to achieve that rotting. Birdsnest. Look that you're sporting on top of your head! Why do you think we'd be interested, but so many of you guys have been in my comments, sections asking about hair care and I'm gon na be honest with you guys. I have no idea what I'm talking about, at least in comparison to skin care, I'm the type of person that walks into Sephora thinking. Okay, I want to fight skincare ingredients with these actives and without these ingredients and with no fragrance and with this and that and then I walk over to the haircare section, and I'm like that feels nice. Considering that Brad mondo did this amazing hair color. If you want to see those collaboration videos, they were amazing. He did a mondo makeover on me, I'll link them in the description box below it's definitely a little difficult up, keeping this hair color, but I managed to find an entire haircare routine. That has worked pretty well so far in order to maintain the blues and the purples that are in my hair, but also still make it look somewhat natural, because I honestly really like how it looks when I first got it dyed. It was one of those things where I would walk into the room and it's like boom. Hyrum is here all eyes on me and I was like fun for like a few days, but I kind of like it now, because when it's a little bit more in the shadows, you don't really notice it, but when the light hits it it's like. Oh sorry, boo, I'm working on my hair care education, I'm watching a lot of Brad mondo videos, but in comparison to skincare I am severely undereducated. I want to say my hair care routine has improved drastically after I got my hair dyed because before I got my hair dyed, it was an elephant graveyard. But since I got my hair bleach and died, I haven't wanting to focus a little bit more on making sure my hair is healthy, making sure the color stays protecting it from Sun and actually for once prioritizing the health of my hair instead of just my skin. If you are interested in purchasing any of the products that I talked about in this video, I will put all the links in the description box below I make a small Commission off of some of them that helps to support me and my channel. So if you feel like going shopping, those are there for you, but no pressure whatsoever. Thanks guys, hair care first starts in the shower, and one thing that I've been making sure to do is not to shampoo my hair as much because I used to shampoo my hair twice a day. Brad mondo. Are you screaming yet? I know I know it's bad, but since the beginning of the year I've been making an active effort to like only shampoo, my hair, when it really needs it, and especially since I've gotten my color done. I'Ve been only shampooing about every half week to once a week, which means that every day I go in with a conditioner to make sure that my hair is soft and healthy and happy. I used two different ones. The first one is the Amika bust. Your brass cool blonde conditioner. Now this one is a purple shampoo when I say purple, [, __ ], I mean purple and I know that it's really purple shampoos that make the biggest difference rather than purple conditioner. But I thought I would try this one just in case and I've actually enjoyed my experience so far. It works good to soften the hair, but not overly moisturize it, but just make sure to get what I believe to be some color preservation and making sure that I'm not having sun damage problems. But honestly, when I looked at the ingredient list, I didn't see anything too fancy. So if anything, it's just this good standard conditioner that I enjoy using, but the ones I've really been enjoying recently and today's sponsor is function of beauty. They are a company that allows you to create your own customized hair care products to the point, so the products even have your name on it. How cool is that I mean it doesn't get more custom than that if you aren't familiar with function beauty there are awesome company that allows you to create your own customized hair care products, so each of the products are completely unique to you. You fill out two minute online quiz answering questions about your hair type, your hair goals, whether you want fragrance or color. When I filled out the quiz, I wanted to make sure that the products were focused on color protection, but also volumizing the hair, making sure that they weren't too heavy cuz here in Hawaii with the humidity. It'S really easy for products to just weigh down your head. In combination with the humidity, I just have this one with blue cuz: I wanted to see how pretty it looked, and then this one to have no dyes and another thing that I love about these products is that you can choose to have them unscented fragrance free. How freaking cool is that, honestly, it is so hard in the industry to find fragrance free, hair care products. Well, I'm not speaking about my hair care product ingredients versus my skin care product ingredients. When you do use a lot of hair care a lot of times, it will run down on to the face and if products are overly fragranced, they can create irritation. And if I have an option to avoid that, I will always choose it and that's something I definitely think sets them. Apart from any other hair care brand, I found in the industry. Their products are free of sulfates, parabens GMOs and they're 100 % vegan and cruelty free. So that's pretty cool. Each of the bottles are made up of 30 % recycled plastic and the bottles themselves are a hundred percent recyclable. We love it when a company is earth. Conscious, as for my experience, I've been really shocked about how positive my results were when it comes to shampoos. I am so picky. I'Ve only ever used one shampoo consistently in my life, and it was one that had a ton of sulfates in it. But when I will have a shampoo, I wanted to really foam up. So I know every individual place of my hair that I'm reaching. But it's really hard to achieve that foaming ability without sulfates, but this shampoo did a really good job of that. I phoned up just enough that you're able to really work it through every part of your hair, but not too much that it's overly drying. It was a hydrating formula and I never saw stripping the color from my hair, which is something that was really important to me. That'S for my conditioner. This one was awesome because when it comes to a conditioner, when I use it, I want it to leave my hair silky smooth super soft, really hydrated. I hate conditioners where you rinse it out and it feels like you did nothing to your hair and this one. I loved using in combination with the Amika one or just by itself, so smooth and typically I go through conditioners so fast, but I've been using these for over a month and it's only that far gone, which means it'll last a pretty good amount of time, which Means me to my next point: function of beauty has an auto replenish program to where you can choose to receive new products every two three or six months, so that you're not just stockpiling, more and more hair products that you don't need, and they also offer other Types of hair care products, for example the shower hair, mask I've been really enjoying by them. I just put it in my hair for 10 minutes when I'm in the shower and rinse it off. It'S great to you, supplementally when I feel like my hair needs a little bit of hydration, but I don't want to have to do a mask outside of the shower and then re rinse it afterwards. It'S just a really nice option to have, if you guys, are interested in purchasing function of beauty, use the discount link in my description box below to save 20 % off your first purchase. Thank you so much the function of beauty for sponsoring this video and thank you guys, as always for being super cool about my sponsorships, I'm so picky when it comes to brands that I work with and one function of VD approached me. I was like, oh my gosh. I'Ve admired your brand so much in the past. Let'S do it and it's all thanks to your guys's support and then another product that I use from time to time that has rescued my hair, and I know everyone loves this product, but I'm gon na say it anyway. It'S the olaplex number 3 perfecter. This product has a cult following for a reason, there's a reason why hair stylists and hairdressers recommend this all the time uses an ingredient called and bear with me cuz. I know I'm gon na butcher this by Cimino propyl dye glycol dye male Yeats, which quote helps to restore damaged hair by repairing disulfide bonds broken during the bleaching process. So if any of you guys know what that means, let me know in the conversation no, but for real I've seen the results that this has. They are incredible. Every time I use it, it looks like I just got my hair dyed again. It really just helps to enhance the color, makes your skin so healthy, so smooth. I highly recommend it to anyone that has damaged or bleached hair. Now moving on to the styling products, one that I've been loving is actually the X mondo. Glitterati is serum. Now this one was given to me by Brad mondo during our collaboration, and I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I have the main ingredients. This has are castor oil and argan oil, which are going to be good for moisturizing the hair, but it has this luminescent pink and gold color. Shifting effect that when you put it in your hair and especially adding it to blue hair, just makes it look so alive and whenever it hits the sunlight, it's just like pow, it's like tiny little sparkles, all over your head. It'S so pretty, and I really enjoyed using this when I well when I was able to go outside not really much anymore, but it really just gives that extra color boost to my hair and then next I use two products that I mix together. The first is the X, mondo, BDSM slick and defined balm. This one was also given to me by Brad. I did not expect to love this product so much. I will definitely be purchasing this one because adds an intense hold to the hair, which I definitely need, but it also has this luminescent, pink and gold shift to it and, truly, when I add this to my hair, it makes the color just come alive. The first time I use these when I got home and I put them into my hair - I literally set out loud whoa. This makes my color pop like crazy. So if you're someone who wants a little bit of extra luminosity and color to the hair, I highly recommend this duo, but I also mixed this with the best hair styling product that I have ever found in my life. The design line ultimate matte, pliable clay. I think I've gone through about 35, maybe 40 of these, and every time I try to find a comparable, matte pomade when these are sold out. I just I can't I can't find anyone that even compares the perfect amount of hold that doesn't make your hair look. Rock-Solid, but it also keeps it in place throughout the day like it almost gives the blow-dried effect. Even though I don't blow dry my hair, it has a matte finish, but when I mix these two together, it gives this really defined hold. That really brings out the color in my hair, but keeps that there all day long and doesn't make it too hard. Shell form, if you get what I'm saying like it's, not those Walmart hair, styling browns when you put it in your hair and it's literally like glue like your hair, becomes an impenetrable shield. Yeah not like that. It'S the perfect balance and then for the final two products I go in with, and I know you guys are gon na judge me: the Tresemme extra firm hold level 4 hairspray. Now this one. I have a love-hate relationship with I've used it for so long because it gives such a nice hold to the hair. It doesn't feel too heavy. It doesn't weigh the hair down, but it also doesn't leave it like crusty, with a film over top of your hair, to keep that hold it's so effortless and lightweight, but the main ingredient this uses is denatured. Alcohol, which I don't like using because it can cause sensitivity on my skin and when I spray this, I do cover my face and I want to find an alcohol-free hairspray, but every time I try to use one, it just leaves my hair so wet too hydrated And my hair gets weighed down and I have to touch it up throughout the day and it's just a whole mess, but I just don't want to deal with so if you guys have any alternatives to this product that you recommend, please let me know, but in The meantime I keep using this one final, extremely extra stuff that I do. I don't even know if it works, I go in with the Moroccan oil protect and prevent color complete spray. This one I recently got because I just wanted to make sure that my hair was protected against the Sun. My mindset is like when it comes to skin care. Sunscreen is the most important part of this step, so I'm just kind of like well for hair care. I need to protect my hair from the Sun right, not really a lot of products I can find out there, and this was the one that I found at Sephora. I honestly just looked at the title and I was like that looks like it'll work, but I'm not exactly sure if it's effective, because I looked at the ingredient list and the primary ones are glycerin sunflower, seed, oil and argan oil, all of which are great ingredients. But I don't know if they necessarily protect your hair from the Sun because they don't protect your skin from the Sun. I know that, but regardless it's a fine mist that I, like spraying over my hair, that adds a little bit of luminosity, but also makes me feel like I'm protecting myself a little bit from the Sun Wow. My hair care routine seems so simple until I broke it down for you guys it's more complicated than my skin care routine. What is up but yeah? Those are all the products that I currently use for my hair they're, the ones that I've seen the best and seem to be keeping the color pretty well. I hear compliments on my hair every day saying like wow, I'm impressed that you've managed to keep the color this long and I'm like [ __ ]. Me too. I didn't think I'd get here well, like I said before. If you are interested in purchasing any of these products, all the links will be in the description box below. But what do you guys think of these products? Do you have any recommendations or substitutes that I could use, because I would love to know more, I'm slowly, making my way through hair care education. Thank you again to function of beauty for sponsoring this video and feel free to use my discount link in the description box below to save 20 % off your first purchase. Don'T forget to subscribe to my second youtube channel called selfless and if you haven't already be sure, to subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell so that you can see my videos every single week. And I will see you guys in the next video

Dalia Samad: I love hyram so much , you know why because he’s entertaining , caring and we Stan an environmentally friendly funny and invested YouTube God ily

HBradley: Hey, Hyram. I have a degree in biochemistry. Hopefully I can help a little. Keratin makes up our hair. It's a fibrous protein that is made with an amino acid called cysteine. These particular amino acids are unique because they can form Sulfur-Sulfur bonds with each other, disulfide bonds. Its a type bond that gives strength and structure to a protein. Usually, a disulfide bond (S-S) shares a pair of electrons to keep the bond close and strong, but this chemical is acting as a long suspension bridge with the sulfurs attaching to the maleates on either end of this "bridge," to form a different type of bridge. (Sulfur-bis(aminopropyl)diglycol dimaleate-Sulfur)

Raeanna Williams: 7:20 "it makes your skin so healthy and so smooth." when you’re use to talking about skincare

Jen: You’re apploading every day whaaaaattttt. You deserve all the love you’re getting. I’m 22 and never had a skincare routine before, but now I do and I’m OBSESSED with it. I havent skipped a day since I started watching your videos. You are a LE-GEND.

Youreverythinggirl: Absolutely love listening to your content. I’ve learnt so much from your videos. Literally always remembering things you say when I’m doing my skincare routine. Love you!

Laura Chang: My skin and my mood have never been so good, and I really only have you to thank for it. Hyram thank you for literally just existing. Someone so genuine and selfless (hehe) should not exist, but you do. You've helped so many people, and I know I'm ranting, but whatever I love you. Okay this is getting long I love you bye!

Teresa Richardson: I got my function of beauty hair care a couple of weeks ago, and I LOVE it. I got mine lightly fragranced (I hate heavy fragrance in shampoo, and avoid it at all costs in skincare), and completely dye free. It leaves my hair very soft and healthy looking. I have dry, eczema prone skin, so I focused mine largely on scalp health and moisture.

Ansley Lail: I am so grateful for your honesty and videos. Thank you for recommending affordable products as well. I have struggled with acne my entire life. I have recently changed my skincare routine after watching your videos. Not only is my skin clearing up, but I feel educated on what things are good/bad for my skin and WHY which is the best part. I wanted to see if function of beauty was worth the hype and I had to search your videos to see if you had a code so I could support you. Just placed my order. Please keep making content!

Rebecca Bloome: Hi Hyram, I’ve been working on reworking my skin care routine using your advice. What are your thoughts in murad? I use the acne treatment underneath my moisturizer.

Bae Joohyun: Yasss hyram im such a huge fan thank you for using your platform to educate and help people with hygiene

Bree C: I love it better now too!! It looks so good on you!! Brad mondo did such a wonderful job!! Edit: I have problems with fragrance on my skin and scalp I use a natural honey and oat fragrance free body soap bar and I try to use shampoo here and there

D Schuster: I honestly love your hair. It's beautiful on its own, but your eye color and your blue shirts really bring out the blue and purple in your hair. Very nice

Justanotherbeautyblogger: To understand how olaplex works “Lab muffin beauty science” does a whole video explaining it

rosebear628: Function of Beauty now has a custom skincare line. I would love for you to review it. Thanks. You are awesome

Myren Clark: omg youve helped my with my skincare so much and ive been noticing a great difference faster then i have ever seen before thank you so much and I hope you continue to florish and grow on youtube thank you so much i truly mean it.

imlil: Hey Hyram, I've been seeing testimonials on Function of Beauty. I'd keep an eye on your hair loss, I guess people have been seeing *less* hair loss after switching *away* from Function of Beauty. I just watched both collabs with you and Brad and I love you guys. I would suggest you check out some testimonials and ask Brad about it. Love you <3

Liz Britt: Hi Hyram! Hoping you can help with this problem. I've had acne for years and always made sure to wash my face and keep up with a skin care routine. About 6 months ago I came across the "caveman" method where you don't wash, tone, moisturize, exfoliate or do anything to your face. I decided to try it and it worked. My skin is better than it has ever been. The only thing is, my skin feels kind of grimy and oily and not very fresh. I want to use a skin care routine so bad but washing my face makes me break out. It doesn't matter what face wash I use (and I've used a lot over the years). Any advice?

Weronika _: Thank you for posting daily now, love to watch your videos, so much necessary information in each one❤️

Bella Peppin: Hi Hyram! I used to have super dry skin and now i think i have it under control all because of you! TYSM LOVE U SO PROUD i’ve been watching since 500k!!

Sasha Richardson: When you're crying and you immediately go to watch hyram to cheer you up

Melissa Atkerson: I don’t know how good function of beauty truly is but, I’ve been using briogeo for awhile now and their deep conditioners are amazing for your hair and they’re ingredients are so good. Anything that I’ve tried from the brand tends to work really well and put hair back to health.

Vilincia Chandra: when he was talking about olaplex no.3 perfector 7:20 hyram: makes your skin so healthy so smooth me: am i watching a skincare video or haircare? press replay

Kota Haston: When he says makes your skin so healthy at 7:20 love you hyram - definitely a skin care focused person

Phoebe Howard: I love your hair colour! It matches your eyes really well!! Keep up the good work xx

October Babe: My bad, i thought your hair had a dark blue colour all this time!! I hadn't seen the purples and light blues, it looks amazing!! And you should definitely be a hair model

Rebecca W: Hey Hyram, I just saw that function of beauty has released a customizable skincare line which you could choose without fragrance. Is there a possibilty that you could review it? I am relly interested what you think of them. Love your videos and hope you feel well! Best wishes xx

Megan Kelley: You are the best. I am so appreciative of you and all the work you do to upload daily. You help me get through the day/night. Thank you! And your hair is goals. You're doing amazing!

Katie B: OMG yes!!! I just watched Brad's video of how to color your hair at home! Love that you two upload on the same day!

katie tate: Hey Hyram! I know you mentioned in one of your videos that your skin got really sensitized after using a prescription retinoid. What did you do to revive your skin after that?

Naomi xx: Everyone else: bored of being stuck at home Me: More bored than everyone Me when Hyram posts: I am saved Also me: *every single week* My parents: disappointment

Andie Andrada: thanks for keeping me company with your videos during quarantine hyram

Emma G: I have been WAITING for this video. I have a scalp bleach with a full coral/pink fashion colour and have just starting using olaplex and have noticed an immediate difference in my hair. I’ve been waiting to hear you opinion on fragrance/ingredients in hair care because I also feel like while I know what’s good for my skin I struggle when it comes to hair care products. Should you apply the same standards to your hair as you do your skin?

Hannah Hawkes: Hyram! You need to make your own fragrance free skincare and hair care line!! I would totally buy:)

Clara Meijer: Ahhh, function of beauty, I'm trying out a free (!!) second batch after the first failed, following their recommendations (again) and my hair is already hating it after one wash . They've said, you've got to add the replenish hair goal but my suspicion is that it's just too much protein, I told them but they're convinced it's not. Too much protein can make your hair have a rough, crunchy and undefined structure. Not enough moisture can look bad as well, same as too little protein or too much moisture. Protein is a good thing for many, especially for coloured hair and I do like the company, it's just not working for me. Sigh, I really like how the shampoo easily spreads on the scalp (it's the volatile silicones). Having fine but thick hair makes it difficult to get through all my scalp without pain. Great that it's working for you. Parfume isn't really a big problem for the hair. Stay away from volatile alcohol as that dries out hair, however low on the ingredients list in a rinse off product probably ain't so bad. I'm looking at you, isopropyl alcohol. I know you're in there. Maybe those disulfate bonds are the glue that helps stick hair shafts together? You need to open up the shafts if you want the melatonin out. Shea moisture has a sunscreen protector for coloured hair as well. I tend to like them ingredient wise when it comes to hair care. Soon trying out their products myself. Petal fresh is a good brand as well. Yes, they all have fragrance, but it's rinse off and on hair. As you said, it's very difficult to find hair care products without scent. Hair's dead, that's probably why. I use cheap ass wella gel for my hair. It's got DMDM Hydantoin but it's under the 1%. No alcohol and enhances my curls. I brush it afterwards instead of crunching though because my hair gets go easily tangled. Dunno how it is in comparison to other gels and as I use it in a sort of curly girl method, my wishes are different.

I Need Friends: Any video from hyram is a blessing, but I was really hoping for an April fools video!! I think a DIY skincare routine would have been great

NotChannel: I'm equally amounts obsessed with haircare as I am skincare, maybe a bit more... My hair is way more personal since it was like a mini journey of self love and education. A couple years back I'd have never thought that I'd be able to do my own hair without relaxing it since I have 3c curls. I have a white mom who isn't good with black hair so I'd be running daily away from the comb in tears not wanting to endure the pain of brushing curly hair whilst bone dry from the root. A bit like skincare, I learned everything through youtube and made informed decisions on products. On my 12th birthday I told my mom that I was going to do my own hair and never turned back. I love my natural hair because it's a part of me that I really had to discover and learn about.

Bryn Bailey: I love seeing you grow Hyram! Congrats!

Tofufruitbat: I’ve been using function of beauty for a month and yay! I’m glad to see a video review about it

Giu Miranda: Hey, beautiful. As someone who had blue hair for around 5 or 6 years I would like to say that, from my perspective, you're doing great. Just keep avoiding Sulfate cuz they kill the color. Keep the gentle cleansing. If you have any interest, you can google about the "Low Poo" and "No Poo" technique. I love the Loo Poo one for my hair (I don't have curly hair) and it helped me a lot to keep the blue alive in the past. Now I just kept doing because I feel it makes my hair feel healthier. You also don't need to wash your hair soo many times like this but it seems you already know that. Sorry I know you didn't ask for advice, and this is just my own experience, but hope it can be helpful. You look great anyway

Tierra: I really wish I had watched this earlier! I just order my function of beauty shampoo! I freaking LOVE them!

xxIluvyouguysxx: That Tresseme hairspray is my favorite too! It holds your hair but doesn’t make it hard or crunchy

Mariah Ferrell: I feel like the way I am about skin care is the same as Hyram about hair care. That’s why I watch his videos!! Being a hairdresser this video makes me so happyThough! He uses great products and understands WHY he’s using them! This is a great routine- and I’m SO happy to see you use Olaplex

Courtney: *Brad mondo* please react to this!! It seems like a great hair care routine but i'd love to hear a hairstylists opinion :)))

haanahk: i’m obsessed with how adorable and wholesome you are like i would love to be friends with u

B Bee: The blue hair really suits you, I hope you keep it for a while. Love your videos!

Paleblueribbons: Just purchased some function of beauty goodies using your affiliate code. I have been eyeing them up for a while and your review persuaded me to give it a go! Thank you Hyram

Patricia Salmon: Hi Hyram! If you want an alternative to aerosolised hair spray, I’m currently using the Josh Rosebrook Hair Spray Style - Firm Hold. A little bit goes a long way and when they say firm hold they mean firm hold (I have to spray it an arm’s length away from my hair, first time I did it, dang it was solid ). Organic plant ingredients. Doesn’t look like it has alcohol but it does contain some small traces of essential oils. I def think it’s worth you having a look at, it was recommended to me by a hairdresser who was after a “cleaner” alternative to what currently exists in the mainstream hair market.

Chiara Maria Inocencio: heat protectants are great. Any form would do since it doubles as a smoothing/ moisturizing and kind of suncare/ sunscreen for the hair.

Anja L.: Hyram, i really like your channel and your personality. You seem so genuine and not one percent annoying. You combine Entertainment with scientifically funded information while always being positive and caring. I have a question though, where did you get this pretty earring with the rose pendant, i love it so much?

greta janko: love you!! thanks for doing what you do! <3

Katherine Polanco: You have so many subscribers and every time I look it keeps getting higher and higher. I couldn't be more happier for you and your accomplishments ❤❤❤❤

Kate Ray: It's funny, I think so critically about my skincare, my makeup, and I *try* to care about my haircare but in comparison... I'm definitely a Hyram, not a Brad ily ♡

MzWorld!!: 7:20 Hyram is so used to saying SKIN all the time that he forgets we’re talking about hair here

Si Lavie: This is your best hair look after the color started to fade

Ella Claire: You are literally the Brad Mondo of Skin care I love it ❤️. Also if you want to see my skincare routine I will have it posted by tomorrow on my channel

Mikayla Kirsch: As far as sun damage for hair, my hair gets fried from the sun!! I never apply any heat to my hair, but the bottoms gets bleached from the sun and I had horrible split ends. I started mixing jojoba oil into my conditioner and then using argan oil to my ends when I get out of the shower (typically mix it into my leave in conditioner, but you can apply it straight to hair) and I have noticed the BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT. The bottom of my hair is finally the same color as the top and my split ends are significantly better. I’m not too sure on the science of these oils but I have had incredible results and it’s really easy to purchase products and it’s inexpensive :) hope that helps any one looking from something to protect their hair from sun damage

Imran: It looks like your channel is becoming like a good friend of yours with skincare, grooming, and sometimes hair care with your skincare videos, shaving videos, and now this awesome haircare videos.

Bad Baby Batzy: When the function of beauty ad came up it reminded me of how you always point out that beauty gurus only do skincare videos when it’s sponsored.

ianoella: you don’t know how happy i get when i see hyram post a new video

Gweny Neitzel: I think it would be really nice if you did a review of the brand Hylamide! It's averagely priced and has quite interesting products involving various active ingredients.

Elena Konst: Omg! I have been following you for skincare and you have been my mentor and now hair products! ❤❤ ah I'm so excited!!

Christi Moisant: I have blue hair too. I love mixing up the colors and keep it fresh in between appointments (which is saving my butt during the pandemic) using Punky Coulour 3-in-1 color depositing shampoo + conditioner. I wash my hair daily and use this stuff once a week. I will mix the blue & the teal, and sometimes I mix the blue & the purple or mix the blue & the lavender. I love it. My hairs feels so soft and the smell is like candy. It really helps to revive the color. I buy it at Ulta.com. I wish I could use Olaplex, but my hair does not respond well to protein in hair products. My favorite Tresemme hair spray is the Compressed Micro Mist Boost Hold Level 3 Hair Spray (Orange Bottle) and I can get it at WalMart or Target, but also available at Ulta. So glad you went blue :)

Marta Salnāja: I'm a hairstylist and actually I find olaplex to be color stripping a bit, so I would suggest it to use after your blue color washes out, before toning. But overall good choice of products, still thumbs up for olaplex, it's great! Will browse about function of beauty. I have seen them on IG :))

Pam McLaughlin: I have purple highlights and my suggestion....get Brad to send you a tube of the hair colour, then mix it in with one of the hair conditioners and once a week apply this to your hair. It will help preserve the vivid blue highlights! My purple never fades doing this

21stcenturymermaid: please do more videos on hair care!! expecially for girls with split ends and lengthening. thanks love u!!!

Paula Desai-Rogers: As someone who always says "ingredients don't lie" I don't know how you can support a brand that doesn't tell you what ingredients you are getting? Haircare is the same as skincare, it's so important to read the ingredients and find ones that have actives that agree with your hair. On top of that, I don't like the fear mongering of sulfates/silicones. It just reminds me of all the "natural" skincare stuff, I looove sulfates on my hair because with all the styling products I use on my very fine hair, I need something that will prevent product build up. I understand you gotta make that coin but I just wish you would treat haircare, in the same way you treat skincare; you would NEVER purchase a "custom skincare" without knowing what the ingredients are, you say so yourself that you get turned off brands that don't disclose ingredients; especially for the price point it is at.

Sophia The Last: Idk if this has evidence behind it but I did the same thing as hyram where I would wash my hair everyday and once I figured out it was bad I changed so I would only wash every 3-4 days. The problem is that it felt like my hair was so used to constantly being washed it became EXTREMELY oily and I started developing dandruff and mild seborrhea and I now have to get specialized shampoo (It’s called t-gel you can order it on amazon if you’re having the same issue)and the longest I can spend without washing my hair and still look presentable is two days (so i wash every other day). I don’t know if this helps anyone but if it does then let me know thanks for reading my experience!

Mirjeta Sylejmani: “every single week”??? More like every single day❤️❤️❤️

Michelle Consoli: In reference to fragrance in hair care: your scalp is still skin so if you are sensitive to fragrance try to avoid it in your hair care

Stand Alone Complex: Hi Hyram, do you think it would be possible for you to make a video on what products we can use to lighten up our lips? I personally suffer from hyper pigmented lips, they're a tad darker than they once were because I used to pick at them and then would expose them to the sun with no spf. I hear hydroquinone works, but how and what products can we use? Thanks in advance!

Rabiah •: Please could you do a video of a detailed step by step skin care routine as I don’t know much about what to do & when to do it. Would like to know more about it thank you! Love watching you

Aleena John: It's strange that Hyram felt amazing using function of beauty products while others felt the worst

Robyn not Robin: The way you said “every single week” was so adorable you have my like lmao

Maggie ahern: I friggin love your hair! It’s so pretty!

Average Alea: I love your videos Their extremely informative and helpful

Ava Wallace: hey hyram! I got the mario badescu enzyme cleansing gel for christmas, would you recommend me stop using it or keep using it to not waste it. I don’t want to put anything bad on my skin but also don’t want to waste it. I love you, you have really helped with my routine

Shadow Blake: Hey, Hyram. For recommendation on a alcohol free hairspray there is two I can recommend you. The Pure Addition hairspray from big and sexy or Kenra's alcohol free hairspray. Now be careful when using the Pure Addition hairspray because the first ingredient is water, but I have use that hairspray on my hair before. Because I like the fact that it gives me some hold to the hair without it being dry and tacky.

Samiha: Binging your videos because I'm suffering from a major breakout, but I'm still clicking on this instantly despite never having dyed my hair lmao.

Farah: Quarantine baeeeeeeeeeer keep the videos coming x stay safe everyone ☘️

Eveliina Maaranen: Hyram: I used to shampoo my hair twice a day. me: WHAT?!?!

Christina B: You should try the Coola scalp and hair mist! It has actual spf in it to protect the skin on the scalp (especially helpful for where you part your hair)

ana murray: we love to see it ur content is so good idc what u upload tbh

Stephanie Louise: Hey, hairstylist here, non sponsored just great product for your colour is celeb luxury baby blue (or viral blue for like what Brad did). Also hair science is way weird because its dealing with the live skin at scalp, but dead keratinized protein is the main make up of hair brown from the pore/follicle. It's a wild world when you deep dive hair science too especially colour science! ✌

Anything Aubrey: I literally just got my function of beauty shampoo and conditioner in. If I would've known that you would release a twenty percent off code I would've waited lol

xbubblegumgoespop: Haha. So used to talking about skin products he accidentally says skin instead of hair! I love your hair Brad did an amazing job and you look amazing! X
