My name is Vanessa and welcome to my channel welcome to another episode of the boss Queen series today, I'm talking to you guys about how you can fund or start your business with little to no money and just a little disclaimer. You can't start your business with no money. So if that's what you're looking for you can just go to another video. But if you want to know like little tricks and little tips and little holes and ways that you can try to fund and start your business with pretty much little to no money like. So, let's get into this video how to fund or start your business with little to no money previously on the boss, Queen series so welcome to our garden. This is our peppermint, which I actually already cut. So it looks like there's pretty much nothing, but we already actually harvested a some of this peppermint that we are going to be adding into our teas and then over. Here we have basil. We have lemon balm, which I already went in here and trimmed it and harvest it, and it already grew back superfast and my husband does all the gardening. By the way he was like a pro at this stuff which we actually have to come in here, but he likes it like that, because we have a little creek over there, which I'll show you the other side later. But these are all strawberries yeah. We got more plants, but I'm gon na come and sit down on the Hat little Amaka little hammocks over here and I'll talk to you guys about business stuff. And why not do it in a relaxing setting where yeah we can just be relaxed, and I can just share with you guys some tips and whatnot, because this is a vlog. I thought that I would jump on here and kind of talk to you guys about. You know, funding your business with little to no money now. I know that. There'S a lot of people who make videos here on YouTube, saying that you guys can start like drop shipping or you can start Amazon FBA or you can start like all these business ventures without spending any money. And it's all a lie because there's no way that you can start without any money like you know, you need something to actually run it. There are ways to kind of get around it and little like loopholes and like things that you can do, but it's always gon na you know in the end you're always gon na have to end up paying for it. So with that being said, I wanted to kind of just talk to you guys about that and share with you guys some tips and like little tricks that you guys can do to help you help. Hopefully a fund, your guyses business or get it started in a time like right now I know things are starting to get a little better. Things are starting to go open and people are starting to go back to work. But it's you know. People are still looking for a job and looking for that side, hustle something to make more money and so yeah. I think it's a it's a great time to try to be an entrepreneur and try to chase chase your dreams, because everyone's online and everybody's shopping online. So how to fund your business with little to no money? How can you do this? How can you start business with pretty much nothing? No money again, if you clicked on this video, I'm gon na tell you that there's no way that you can start we're just gon na get that out of the way, but a couple things that you guys can do to actually fund your business without any. You know money or anything in the front to get number one. You could save money. So there's like this is no specific order. This is just like coming to my head, because this is more of like a log vetting and not really like in my office talking so one way that you do, that is you guys could save. So when I first started my business, I you know am a personal trainer and a dance teacher, so I don't make a lot of money and then pretty much everything that I make goes to bills. So it's not like. I had like a thousand dollars or pretty much anything like that saved up. I literally just use one of my paychecks and just paid for it for my LLC and for my license, so you know you you're gon na have to save at least maybe two hundred to five hundred dollars, depending on your state and like how much it costs Actually, you know you create your business structure and all of that that would be one of the main cost. I think it'd be fun to do a video to actually say like how much does it really cost to start a haircare line? Because, like it's a lot and you don't really think about it until really you like sit down and you really think about everything that you buy and then how much it cost. So I mean and that's how you have to price your products so that you obviously make a profit back, feel it's like it's still a lot of money. So another way that you could try to fund your business without any money or any like anything up front. Would be to get credit cards? So if you already have a credit card you could, you know make a bunch of maybe $ 100 started your business. You know you can do things in parts like you can you know I bought my business license and everything in like October 2018, but my business didn't really even launch until December of 2018. So you know I bought it in October and then it took me a couple more months to get the supplies and everything that I needed. So you don't have to do everything like all. I want you to take it little by little. I do recommend you have like another job so right now because of the virus, I'm not working the answer. Dance teachers and personal trainers are starting to open, but I have kids, and so then that puts more rules on childcare and my husband works. So it's like you know, it looks like I'm gon na be home until like at least another month or so, and so who even knows, if I plan to go back, that's a whole nother story. Another way that you guys could fund your business with little to no money would be to create some sort of like Kickstarter or GoFundMe account. So this is where you would like present your ideas to a community and/or, a forum or something like that, and people would give you money to support your idea and your brand to help. You know you manufacture your product or like whatever you're trying to do so. That'S another idea, you know and you can promote your GoFundMe on your social medias and if you already have like a following like if you're an influencer and you already have like a couple thousand followers - I mean that's a couple thousand customers right there. So you could use you know this GoFundMe account, or this Kickstarter account for your fans to pay you so that you know you can use that money that they're supporting you with to fund your business. So, even though you haven't had to put any money into it, you're still getting money to actually start it. So that is another way that you guys could actually, you know, fund your business and get started so another way that you could fund your business without any money or like capital would be to get a bank loan. So, depending on your credit or anything like that kind of goes with the credit cards, you could ask for a bank loan. So if you are wanting to, you know, get a loan, you could apply for a personal loan or a business loan and they will give you money to help. You start your loan, I mean to start your business. Sorry, you know with loans. You do have to pay it back and the longer that you have it the more interest that you occur. So you just really have to you know: do your research and really think hard? What is it that you really want to do like? What are your goals? Are you wanting to spend money to make money like you know? I have to sometimes I have credit cards and I have balances on them because you know sometimes you have to buy inventory ahead of time, especially with subscription boxes. So you know you have to kind of see like what is it worth to you? What do you want to put? What do you want to use for your business? Pretty much all right, so that's pretty much a couple ideas and ways that you could start your business with little to no money or the way that you can fund. It was pretty much. You know no capital. I didn't start with a lot of money. Like I told you, I'm a stay at home or was kind of part-time, stay-at-home mom and I started it. You know it takes time and if you just sign it out, make a business plan. When do you want to start and start slow, you know start with first to license and then start occurring. You know the products that you're going to need. You can start with no kitchen supply. So if you are obviously looking into starting your own haircare line, you can use a lot of the stuff you already have, so you just have to do your math suit with your products. Try to do your research of what type of product is it that you want to make, and there are a lot of products out there. That cost like less than five dollars to make, and you just have to get all of the ingredients and create it. And so in the end, when you sell it like you've, your money back, so you just have to do the math in the research on what you want. But it's definitely you know, selling haircare products and getting into this industry is, you know, definitely worth it and you know.
