Good morning or good afternoon or good night, whatever it is, for you guys and welcome back to my channel today we are going to be spending a slow morning together. There is nothing more that i like personally than a slow morning routine. I feel like during the week we have to hustle and bustle to get up get ourselves ready. If you have kids, get your kids ready, get out the door and then get headed straight to work and for a lot of us waking up super early is not realistic. I kind of just start my morning off by laying in bed checking my social medias, which is something i usually don't get a chance to do during the weekdays, and i will of course have my water. That is my number one thing when i first wake up in the morning is just to get hydrated, and then i like to open up my blinds all the way on the weekends, especially when the weather is nice and the sun is shining because it just gives A nice effect to the room when the blinds are pulled all the way back and then i will head to the bathroom to take a nice long shower, because i know on saturdays when i don't have a lot of responsibilities. I can take a long shower, so i will light myself a candle. I got this one if you guys watched my video yesterday and i've been following along with my series this week, all the products that i'm going to use in the shower routine. I did pick up from ulta. I will have them linked in my description box, if you guys want to check them out saturdays or a day that you have off is a really good day to just get in that really nice long, pamper shower routine. So today i am going to be washing my hair. I picked up this shampoo and conditioner from i believe it's called nature's lab. I'Ve never used this brand before, but the packaging sold me. So i decided to try it out. I can't say anything bad or super good about it: the shampoo washed, my hair, it didn't leave it feeling stripped or dry or anything. So i really can't complain about the shampoo and the conditioner was kind of just like your regular, typical conditioner. Nothing too special. Would i pick it up again for my natural curly hair? Probably not, but the packaging is cute, so i'll use it until it runs out because it didn't do any damage to my hair and then for body wash i'm going in with the shea moisture relaxing body wash and the pink himalayan scent. I really really like this. You guys, i'm usually not a fan of the shea moisture products, hair care, wise and body care wise. Just a couple of the things that i've tried out from them have not always been like my personal favorite, but this body wash smells really good. It lathers really! Well and it left my skin super moisturized, so to my surprise, i really actually liked it, which was nice um. I could definitely see this being my like morning, shower body wash until the bottle runs out, because you guys know i switch my products like every time. The bottle gets empty. I also picked up some exfoliating gloves, i'm going to try out something new for my shaving routine this time. So i picked up this moroccan rose, shave, oil from tree hut and what i did was i pumped it onto the exfoliating gloves and then kind of just massaged it into my skin that way, so i'm exfoliating but still moisturizing, and then i can shave. I feel like this was kind of like taking the extra step of like using a physical scrub and then also going back in with the oil if that made sense, so i'm shaving my legs using my i just like infusion razor. I absolutely love this especially for shaving my legs and then i am going in with my favorite little things that i haven't used in forever. So that's why i picked them up at ulta yesterday. I love these little foot scrubbies. They just get your feet. Super super clean and they're really nice to use. Obviously, if you don't want to repurchase these all the time, you can just get a standard like foot brush for the shower and use regular soap. These are just nice kind of on a more pamper shower day. If you want to splurge and spoil yourself and then for my feminine wash i'm going in with my favorite, my holy grail, the vh essentials daily, feminine, wash absolutely love. This talked about it a little bit in a video on thursday. If you guys are not familiar and then before i get out of the shower, i'm just going to rinse the conditioner out of my hair and then go ahead and apply a leave-in. I have been using this. Thank god. It'S naturals rose water, leave-in conditioner. For probably the past, like three weeks now, since i took my micro links out - and i love it, it is still leaving my hair feeling super super moisturized and that's pretty much all i can ask for in a leave-in conditioner. So this is like my go-to. Every single day, when i co-wash my hair in the shower or i get it wet, i will go back in and add this leave-in and then for body care, i'm going in with the shea moistures relaxing body cream. This matches the body wash that i used in the shower again. I was pleasantly surprised by the product i feel like it was super moisturizing, but it was also lightweight, which is something that i personally really like in a lotion because it absorbs fast into the skin, and i don't have to feel like greasy or sticky. When i put my clothes on - and it smells really really good like it was, it was giving what the name says very much relaxing and it has a very soft subtle scent, which is right up my alley. So i just applied that all over my body. For my fragrance i'm going in with the aqua de parma, which is one of the five fragrances i received in my scent bird order this month, if you guys are not familiar with scentbird, it is a fragrant subscription service that gives you the opportunity to shop from Over 600 brands, they allow you to choose a new designer fragrance from brands like prada, gucci, versace and more. The other fragrances i received this month were winter oak by raw spirit. This one is a super cozy scent, it's very smooth and woodsy, and i also got candlelit evening this one has notes of rose, boutique, sweet, bourbon and honey. The subscription cost is just 16 a month and it's super flexible. You can skip a month at any time without penalties and, as a lot of us know, perfumes and colognes can be super expensive. So i love that scentbird gives you a 30 day supply of a perfume or cologne, so you can try it out before committing to buying the full bottle. This is perfect if you're somebody who's trying to build your perfume collection, but you're not ready to splurge on full-size bottles, if you're not sure exactly what you're. Looking for in a perfume, you can discover new fragrances by taking a simple quiz on scentbird.com, based on your preferences, previous purchases and quiz answers. They will be able to help. You find a fragrance that you love. If you use my code m walker, you can get 55 off your first month, making it just seven dollars so make sure to check the link in my description box. After all of my body, care is done. I just gon na go ahead and change into some cozy pajamas, so i can get into some oral hygiene and skin care. So you guys know if you watched my video on thursday again in my video yesterday, i have a new toothbrush. This is the fuso toothbrush. Absolutely love, love, love it. You guys can get this from amazon again. I did not realize like what a big difference a toothbrush could make but y'all this leaves my mouth feeling so so so so clean and then, after that's done, i'm going to go ahead and do my hair. I am just going to apply some of the l pomegranate mousse to my hair, just to give it some hold and then i will also lay my edges. I don't really do much to my natural curly hair, but if i want to like look presentable, i will lay my edges for my skin care. Every morning i like to ice my face. I don't know if you guys have peeped or not, but this is like my favorite thing to do talked about this in a couple other videos, so i feel like we probably know, but you can get this little ice mold from amazon and i just fill it Up with water - and i freeze it every night - and this is what i use to essentially kind of like wash my face in the morning - i don't use any cleansers or anything like that. I know a lot of you guys have been asking me about my skincare and my skincare routine does change depending on the season, depending on the stage of my life. What'S going on, if i'm having hormonal, breakouts or not right now, my skin has been pretty clear and what i've been doing is just icing my face every single morning, and then i will use my little tools that i got recently from sephora that you guys might Have seen in tuesday's video - and i just use these to kind of like sculpt my face and then that's pretty much all that i do for skincare in the morning. If i know i'm leaving the house i will put on sunscreen, if not, i just try to leave my face alone for the most part during the day. I feel like i personally have struggled with hormonal acne in the past and like in 2020 and 2021, and the biggest thing that i've kind of learned is that i just need to leave my face alone. So it's okay. If i have like a 10 step, skincare routine at night - which i currently don't, but i need to at least give my skin a break and some room to breathe in the morning because a lot of times i just do more harm to it than good. If i'm like using so many products throughout the day, so that's why i just don't really do anything to my face anymore in the morning and it's been working for me so yeah and then of course, i'm gon na go in with my grande lash serum. So i apply this twice a day in the morning and at night i have definitely seen growth in my bottom lash line, so i'm super excited to see how long they're gon na get and then i'm just going in with a lip mask from fresh and then Of course, we have to make the bed i like to make my bed on the weekends, even though i usually will get back in it midday to take a nap with my kids or something, but it's just nice to like have it made. I just feel like it sets the whole ambiance of the room and i like to look at it. It'S very aesthetic, so i will just make my bed and make sure that my diffuser is going before i head downstairs for breakfast. So this morning i decided that i was going to have one of my little favorite breakfast meals that i haven't had in a while, and it's just like a simple kind of like breakfast taco. But it's really just like an egg and tortilla with salsa on it, and then i was also gon na make myself some tea. So that's what i'm doing here is just cooking that up and warming up my hot water. For my tea, you guys. I love this little teapot. It heats the water up super super quickly. You can get it from amazon, i will have it. I love drinking tea, especially on the weekends, because i honestly am not a huge coffee. Drinker i never have been. Tea is more of my preference, but coffee gives me that immediate burst of energy that i need on most weekdays, so i tend to usually go for that instead, so on saturdays i like to just enjoy a nice cup of hot tea, it just keeps me relaxed. I don't want to be super wired on the weekends i like to kind of just like let the day flow and then, while i'm eating my breakfast, i am going to do a little bit of journaling and just writing to myself. I feel like when i journal more so on the weekdays. My mind is cluttered with everything that i have to do work wise, and so i don't really focus a lot on. You know personal aspects of my life when i'm journaling and really like talking to myself and appreciating the moments and phases and stages of life that i'm in so on the weekends. When i don't have a lot of work responsibilities to think about i'll. Just take some time to write to myself about how i've been feeling how my week was - and i swear by this - you guys it's not just a like. You know, trendy thing. I'Ve been journaling since back in, like 2017, when i first got pregnant with my first son, and it really just helps to release any. You know like feelings that you have whether it's like good or bad, and it's also nice. If you keep like an actual journal, you can go back and read them like. I still have my journals from four years ago and sometimes i'll just go back and read them, and i will like find little things that still apply to my life today and then i'll also realize how far i've come or how much growth and progress that i've Made so yeah, if you don't journal, i would definitely recommend and then i'm going to just rinse off my dishes. I am not doing a whole deep, clean or anything like that, especially on a saturday morning, but i do like to keep my dishes just rinse off. So the house doesn't smell like food or anything throughout the day, so i'm just going to rinse those off place them back in the sink. Until i get ready to do a full dishwasher cycle later on, and then i pretty much just curl up on the couch for the rest of the saturday, i mean unless me and my family have plans and we decide to get out of the house or something Like that, we mostly just sit, and we watch movies all day and saturday and decompress from the week. So i hope that you guys enjoyed this video and thank you again to simper for sponsoring today's video don't forget to click the link in my description box and use my code m walker to get 55 off your first order. I will see you guys in another video you
