Hey guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel the other day I was thinking I was like I haven't, given them like an updated hair care like routine or regimen in forever, and I've changed so many different things. So I wanted to come to you guys and share it with you guys today I will apologize cuz y'all. Sometimes I get along with it whatever, but I'm going to try to make this video as condensed as possible, but it's a lot of things to talk about, but good news is with my new regiment. I have condensed the amount of products that I use because I'm trying to not be like such a product junkie as I was before, and so I've condensed my routine, and I just want to share that with you guys to make it simple and easy for you Guys, if you are new, you'll, probably enjoy this and don't get overwhelmed and if you guys are already in your routine and your regimen, maybe you can find some new items you want to try out so anyway. I'M not gon na go into extreme detail about each product, just because I don't want this video to be like super super long. I do have other videos that will explain everything and all that good stuff, so anyway, so anyway, before we even hop on into this video, though don't forget to subscribe that way, you don't miss any further updates from me and hit the notification down notification bell down Below, anyway, without further ado, let's hop on into the video okay. So first thing I want to talk about is shampooing my hair. I am I get questions about my regimen a lot and that's why I wanted to come back and do a video that it's updating you guys on what I do and how I got my hair to the length that I have it now. I recently just hit broth properly until that's like such a big accomplishment. For me, I'm so excited to see the length of that so anyway, with shampooing, I only shampoo, my hair. Now sorry they shouldn't get this product. I was, i only shampoo, my hair now every other week, and i will explain why in a second, but this is one of my most favourite shampoos, i'm not like a huge shampoo girl. If i was to get a me product, i would stock up on conditioner and not shampoo, and so i was really just looking for a shampoo that didn't strip everything out of my hair, but then also clean, my scalp. Whenever i needed it - and so i really like this one by Shea Moisture - it is them on Google and hemp seed oil hyper the moisture seal shampoo y'all, I swear their titles - are so long but uh anyway. So I love their products though, but I just know that shea moisture doesn't have like a lot of bad stuff in it that any bad stuff in it. So that's why I really go. I will go for shea moisture, but it is sulfate and color free if you're looking for a shampoo, you do want to go with sulfate free because sulfate strip, everything out of your hair and next four shampoos is my clarifying shampoo. So this is not something that you want to use every week and before I really got into hair care and learning what to do with my hair and how to take care of and how to maintain it, etc. I was shampooing with this every single week, if not more, because I don't know what to do with my hair, like this was a product that was came to me, so I was like okay but y'all. You only want to really use this when you have a bunch of buildup that you want to get out of your hair, and I'm gon na also have a video on like the best clarifying shampoos, because there are others that I really like. But this is typically the one that I go for, and so this is the ORH. This is the olive oil creamy olive shampoo by ors, and it says, removes build-up. Why motorizing gently cleanses and neutralizes, and so this is also the shampoo that I use whenever I wash out my relaxer just because it is a neutralizing shampoo, and that means it just stops the whole process of the relaxing. So anyway, it's wicks - I just pulled up in my shower. So sorry guys, my camera died, but I was talking about my creamy olive shampoo. This is what I used to clarify my hair clarifying your hair is basically getting all the build-up out of your hair, so I will do this once a month. I do this at the end of every single month. That way, I can get all the build-up. All the product, all that everything that I haven't gotten out out with my clarifying shampoo again, you do not want to use this every single day. You won't earn every single day what you don't want to shampoo your hair every single day anyway, but you don't want to use this every single week is what I meant to say: you want to use it whenever you need to get that build-up out and then Just make sure you start the month fresh, so I will go in and I will clarify my hair every single month at the end of the month. That way, I know at the beginning of the month I'm starting my hair fresh so every single week. What I do is I go in and D conditioned my hair definition. My hair has truly caused my hair to just be so much more soft, so much or so cool have my curls pop, like it's just been amazing. Like my cuz, if you guys did not know, i do have relaxed hair and i guess i should have said this at the beginning. I do have relaxed hair. I only relaxed my hair two to three times a year and my hair is not bone straight. So, technically you could say tech slacks, but i just claim that i have a relaxed hair. I do leave texture in my hair, though, and that's why i said whenever my curls pop, so if you guys knew i was relaxing from like what i thought she was relaxed, neal hat whatever, but um anyway. So my curls do still come through they're, just looser than what they would be if i did not have a relaxer, so anyhoo z, that's just a little bit about my hair and i probably should have said that at the beginning. So my apologies. But this is something that i have been loving so much. I feel like if you have seen my past, like for hair videos, you've seen this product by shea moisture. It is a jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen, grow and restore treatment, masque with shea butter, peppermint and keratin and y'all. This is amazing, like this is amazing. It is both moisture and protein, and i love it. I love shea butter. I love castor oil and I love peppermint and those are the main three things that are in this product and so anyway, I do go in and ID condition my hair every single week I try to every single week. Sometimes I get lazy, but then it'll become like every week and a half which is okay. This is flexible and by the way this regimen is what I do. I want you guys to do with what works for your hair. Definitely you can go off what I do and the steps of what I've you or the amount of time that I do it, but I do want you to make sure that you were doing it according to your hair. That way, your hair can prosper and thrive, and all that good stuff. So anyway, I did condition my hair once a week. So then also about conditioners, you guys know I love conditioners, and so, whenever it comes to conditioners, I co wash my hair as well. If you have been on my channel, you know I love co-washing, and so basically, all that is is washing your hair with conditioner. It just hopes, because shampoo can strip everything out of your hair when you don't necessarily need to so co-washing. You just a way to cleanse your scalp as well as add some extra moisture into your hair, and so I just use the Aussie mega moist conditioner quenches thirsty locks in a flash. That'S what it says on the thing anyway. I love this conditioner. I absolutely love this when I asked all my oils in here. I have a video based on how to like add extra benefits to your products, and so I will link that video down below in the description box as well, and then also I will have links for all these products down below to help you guys out to Make it very easy for you guys to find so so? Yes, I co wash my hair every single week. I co wash my hair typically one to two times a week, just kind of depends if I have been working on a lot and I feel like I've sweat if I've been sweating and I feel like I need to get that out, I will co wash my Hair, but typically, if I haven't had you know much going on or whatever I will typically just go wash my hair on Wednesday and keep it movin from there. If I do have my hair braid it up or anything like that, I will. I don't go wash my hair and I will tell you guys that glad you in that case a little bit later but yeah. I go wash my hair when my hair is down or having a bunch of protective styles or anything like that. But if I haven't braids it up, I don't go wash my hair every single week. It just kind of depends and that's why I was saying you you'll - be able to really listen to your hair and feel what your hair needs. If you feel like you, you missed my hair is break it up and I feel like it needs some moisture. I will take it down and go wash my hair, but anyway co-washing is just a great way to add some extra moisture into your hair, as well as cleanse your scalp to then following co-washing or definition to my hair. I do go in with a leave-in deep conditioner. I used the Cantu shea butter leave-in conditioning repair cream. I'Ve used this for a really long time as well. I just love this product. It is protein based, but it's also moister for me and it does. It works. Really well, I have a whole bunch of whole bunch of tubes of this stuff, so anyway, mrs. Allah, I you and I will apply. I apply a leave-in conditioner every single time. My hair is wet. So if I go wash my hair foul, if I do a protein treatment, if I do anything that requires me washing it out or anything like that right after I get out of the shower, I will follow up with the leave-in conditioner and typically it is this One so then, also something that I do every single week, basically kana of every single day, if not every other day, is moisturizing and sealing my hair. The new product that I have started using for that is the Shea Moisture, coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie with silk protein and neem oil. I love this moisturizer y'all. I use this whenever I am stretching my relaxer, which I will also have a video up for you guys about that. I use this on my new growth. I use this someone relaxer. I use this all over my hair and I love this stuff. It is so moisturizing and a little bit goes a really long way for my hair and so that's the product. I use I moisturize and seal my hair every other day. I also have a video on how to moisturize and seal your hair and what I mean by moisturize and sealing your hair, but I can't get into it every single thing in this video only because it'll be too long, so I will link that video down below And above in the cards, so after I moisturize my hair, I didn't go in and seal my hair with my extra virgin olive oil. Sorry there's like hair all over it, but um. This is the like. It'S just a hundred percent extra virgin olive oil. I take some of my hand, or I typically put some in a bottle and then scored it. In my hand, that was just easier application and then rub it all over my hair, and so that's not the only oil I use. I also have a video for moisture mixture or not a moisture moisture for oil mixture and how I seal my hair after I moisturize it. So I will also link that video as well I'll just have a whole bunch of videos to help you guys down below. In the description box so check those out so anyway, I'm only trying to show my hair every day or every other day. It depends on what my hair is meeting with my hair feels dry. I will do it every day. Typically, I do it. I used to do it at night, but then I got lazy and so now I just do it in the morning and whenever it comes to doing that in the what I also do is I have my moisture mixture. I have a little moisture make sure that I have created in a squirty bottle Domitius and I also have a video I'm saying that I also have a video on that and I will give you guys the details down below about how I make that moisture mixture. That'S another way to add extra moisture to your hair, so that's typically how I detangle my hair. I will dampen it just a little bit in the morning time. If I'm you know well, it depends on my style as well. If I am doing a bun or whatever and I'm just licking it up or I'm just putting in a low ponytail or whatever, I will sort that on it. But if I have a braid out or a bantu knot, I do not squirt it on it, because I don't want it um way down or wash out the style. Basically, so I typically use that to help detangle my hair, so I will have that video up for you guys as well. Don'T worry, don't worry, yeah, moisturize and seal my hair every day or every other day. I simply do it in the morning time now or if I am doing a protective style like your braid out to a stop bantu knot, I will do. I will moisturize and seal my hair that night. That way, I can do that style to have it in the morning that I don't have to do anything to my hair besides take it down in the morning. So that's what I do relaxing my hair, as I told you guys before I am relaxed, and so I give my hair relaxed or I relaxed my hair two to three times in a year at first it was two times and now I am leaning more time. More more towards doing that three times a year and I use the organic fruit, simulator, professional cream, relaxer and normal. So that's what I use for that and yeah, and so whenever I relax my hair, that's also when I straighten my hair, so I am leaning more towards this is another change. I am leaning more towards straightening, my hair more than I get my relaxer. So I'm looking at straightening my hair, like four times to five times a year, instead of just doing it two times a year. I just want to be able to wear my hair out and appreciate my hair for what it is so and then also see the growth and see if I need to trim my ends or anything, because typically my hair is tucked away or anything. So I can't really see if I need to trim my ends unless I straighten it or blow-dry it, and so I do I'm leaving more toward straightening my hair, more often, but typically right now. I just trade, my hair. Whenever I get a relaxer, which was two to three times a year, I briefly mentioned my moisture mixture. I will have a video based on that. It'S usually every morning I use my moisture mixture, but typically, if I need to dampen my hair to detangle it, which I usually always do, I will go in without moisture, make sure just add again more moisture, also every single month I do a protein treatment and I typically use the ORS hair mayonnaise. I love this stuff. I have a whole bunch of videos on this stuff, but it just strengthens my hair so well without making it feel super super super dry. It strengthens it real real good, so you have to be sure to get your moisture in there afterwards, but it's just really good for us relax girls just because what the relaxer does to our hair. We need to make sure we do protein treatments to supplement for what that does start here. So protein treatments are super important, so I do that every single month, but I typically do a light protein treatment every so so every two weeks type of thing. So if the month started on the first, I would do a light protein treatment or a conditioner like this one. I was talking to you guys about earlier with protein. I will do that on at the 15th or something and then at the end of the month. I will go in or the beginning of the new month. I will go in with my protein treatment like the for real hard core strengthening protein treatment and again that is based on your hair. Sometimes I realized, I don't need it right now, so I may wait. A week wait two weeks, but it just depends again. It'S all about your hair. So but I do go in with a protein treatment every single month or every month and a half for sure' and then throughout the course, so that I'm being sure to put protein in my hair by using different conditioners like this one. That has like a light protein or I know how to balance out the protein, but one of the main things that I want to tell you about is that if you do not know what to do with your hair, what you do want to do is add. Moisture, if you are confused on what to do add, moisture, start co, washing your hair, start B, conditioning your hair and start moisturizing and sealing your hair again, if you are unsure, add moisture, do not add protein immediately only because protein protein is more hard to come Back from like protein damage, it's more hard to come back from than moisture damage, so you wan na, if you, if your hair feels brittle and dry and breaking a fat moister girlfriend at that moisture and then start adding a little bit of that protein. But a little bit don't go ham with the so go ham with the protein, because you don't want that to cause breakage. If you don't know how to manage protein in moisture, that's why I say that, hopefully that makes sense that was kind of a long description. Hopefully that makes sense. I tried to dust my ends every month. Sometimes I fall short of that, but it is very important that you trim your in. So I tell you that every single month or if I fall short, it's usually like every two months, and I will when I ever I say dust your ends, that's just like taking your hair and that would be like dusting off. Well, that's kind of a lot and I'd be like dusting off like that much hair. What you really can't even see like if nobody would notice a difference. If you dust your in it's not trimming your ends is a bit different. That'S simply what I do whenever I get a relaxer or whenever I need it, I don't want to base it off just when I get a relaxer, because if I don't need a trim, I don't mean to give myself a trim. So anyway, that's what I mean by that, but just be sure, you're taking care of your ends. You'Re getting rid of those split ends, those dead ends and then making sure you were deep conditioning your hair to keep those ends like strong and healthy. So anyway, so yeah, that's what I do for my hair. I forgot to show you guys my shower cap that I use whenever I'm deep auditioning my hair and it's just a thermal heat cap that I use that way. I don't have to sit under the dryer or anything like that, but I'm still getting heat into my hair to help that conditioner soak into my hair, and so anyway, that's just like my new updated routine. I don't know if you guys can tell from the last time, but there's way less steps. I feel like. Oh, not steps, there's way less products, and so I gave you guys the base products, but I do have separate videos on my favorite type of conditioners for relaxed hair, my favorite co-washing conditioners for relaxed hair, my favorite protein treatments for relaxed hair. My friend it goes on and on and so now that you have the basis of what I do now you can take it and see which product will work for you and when you want to use it, if that makes sense. So now that you know I, I apply protein once a month to one like one and a half months now that you know that you can either use the or as hair mayonnaise or you can use my other taxes that I use an egg. I have used an egg before I've tried other different things you can use like a Fiji has good protein products, and so anyway, I just want to give you guys the basis of my new regiment, my new routine, and then it lets you guys run with it And then finding other videos that I'll link down below to see which product you may want to try out of that genre. That makes sense anyway. That is my routine. I already know it was long, and so I'm sorry, but I really do hope. It was very helpful for you guys. I want to come and update you guys, because I hadn't did it in a while and I'm sorry I hadn't even thought about it, but I'm not getting a lot of questions about what I use when I use it. Why? I use it and how - and so I just wanted to make that video, for you guys really quick and yeah if you guys have any other video suggestions, anything you want to see any questions, leave them down below I've been making question the answer. The most difficult part for me is the after math of washing, conditioning, deep conditioning. How do you dry your hair? Also, how do you manage styling your dry hair with so much new growth without looking wild? It's really hard on a daily basis.

Monique Fagon: Hey Drea need ur input...I subbed a few month back and i officially started my healthy care journey in summer. Since then I have seen significant length retention but not thickness. Any suggestions? Point of information i relax my hair every 10-12 weeks (salon) - In between i do both protein and moisture treatments - hot oil treatments (grape seed, castro, lavendar, rosemary and peppermint oils) - That same oil blend is used on my edges every other night. - I use coconut oil on my hair every other night. I don't use heat; only when i get a relaxer with a hooded dryer using roller sets. - I wash my hair sometimes every 7-14 days - Since relaxing my for the first time Sept (2016) i have never used long term protective styles only flexi rod sets, curlformers, bantu knot-out, buns etc. - Oh i get a trim when necessary. - I sleep with a satin cap every night - Any suggestions?

Bellarose Brown: Please hun what is your night time routine? In that when you stretch your relaxers so you still wrap your hair or do you wear diff styles to sleep in please do share

Brenda Lee: Ok. Thank u.

: You sound like Beyoncé

Brenda Lee: Is ur hair cut on purpose to have ur ends uneven or is time to clip ur ends? How often do u clip ur ends?
